Sierra blinked. What was wrong with this girl?! Well. What did she care? The kid was a Gryffindor and kept losing house points. Thank you, Little Lion, for contributing to Slytherin's goal to win back the house cup.

She was just about to volunteer to take her to the Hospital Wing when Vinny Boy drew his wand. Sierra waited.

...and waited.

...and waited more.

"Err, Professor?" she asked, but he wasn't moving. "Immobulus, Professor! The Freezing Charm!" She wasn't casting. She didn't even have a wand out. She was just providing the correct charm to use. Flying a bit closer to the scene, she added, "Do you need me to take her to the Hospital Wing?"

Oichi was really hitting the top of the kettle now and she was boiling over as she heard the professors response. "RESPECT! YOU DON'T DESERVE RESPECT. YOU PUT THIS ENTIRE CLASS IN DANGER BY RELEASING YOUR HEINOUS PIXIES!!! AND IF YOU DID NOT REMEMBER, I CAN'T LEAVE ON MY OWN. I WISH I COULD!", Oichi responded glaring at the professor. She knew she was gonna get detention but she really did not care. She found it worth it to rub the professors blunder all in his face.

Tay bit her lip and looked at Oichi, "Hey, calm down okay?" Then she looked at the professor, "Professor, please excuse her. She is obviously not feeling well and she did take a nose dive into the ground because of the pixies. Oichi might have broken something. Do you want me to take her to the hospital wing?"

The prefect had finally gotten free from the pixie trying to catch a ride on his curly hair. With a look of relief, Gideon couldn't help but wonder if it was nearing the end of class, a glance at his watch certainly gave him the opinion it might be. Looking towards the ground, he searched for for the professor only to spot him and a student and something seemingly up. Uh oh...what was it...what happened?

Out of curiousity he flew closer, heading down through the sky a bit and when he did he spotted what looked to be Kurumi landing. And could now hear yelling making his stomach groan. Something was definantly wrong and he flew the last several feet, landing with a soft thud of his feet on the ground when he was close enough before walking yet closer.

It took the mention of the hospital wing to give him some clue, now noticing the main persons in play were a Gryffindor girl and Professor Vindictus. Gideon glanced at Kurumi, briefly wondering if either of them might be needed to help take care of their injured yet rudely vocal housemate.

Before Vindictus could reply to the prefects, the Gryffindor girl was still screaming. Did she not hear him?

"DETENTION!" he replied in a sing-song voice and then turned his attention to the two older students who were near him on the ground.

"Yes, and yes!" Vindictus exclaimed to both Kurumi and Sierra. Two pixies were heading directly at the backs of the two prefects. He rolled onto his left side and stretched his right arm past Kurumi, who was closest to him.

"IMMOBULUS!"

A blue light shot out from his wand and struck the two pixies. They stopped midair and floated where they were frozen - three feet away from the Gryffindor and Slytherin prefects.

"Thanks, Sierra. It was on the tip of my tongue but I was rudely interrupted. You can take the shouting Lion to the Hospital Wing and I'll make sure the detention owl arrives while she's being treated," he said. "But what I really need is help with the pixies - the size of the pitch makes it rather tough to freeze them in one spell. The radius of the spell is two feet outdoors."

He slowly got back to his feet. "I need all 4th year and older students to assist with the pixies! Kurumi and Sierra will tell you what to do. Everyone else, listen up!"

He stood off to one side and began to tell the first through third years what to do. "I want you to try to get the pixies towards the center of the pitch so that the older students can use the Freezing Charm on them. Don't be afraid - the spell will work only on the Cornish Pixies! You might want to start rounding the creatures up!"


OOC: Only 4th thru 7th years have permission to use the Freezing Charm (Immobulus) to immobilize the pixies. 1st thru 3rd years need to help round the creatures up.

Minerva sighed she really wanted nothing to do with these darn things anymore, but she headed around. She saw a group of them and flew near them pulling on her broom she slowed and taunted them to come after her. When she saw them following her she sped up hoping an older student would be ready with the charm. She did not want four or five pixies pulling at her hair. She got closer to a group of older students "Hey I have four pixies following me, can someone hit them please.."

"Well it is kind of hard to get rid of them without a charm that is for sure." Belle said thinking out loud. "I think yelling wouldn't help at all since it might make them angrier. How about i distract them and try to bring them to a tree so they can caught in the branches?" Belle said as an idea. Belle heard the professor's commands, She then used the "Immobulus" to stop them. They finally did. "Now Nigel, how about you fly down and collect them on the ground?"

Sierra eyed the Gryffindor girl. Seemed like she was taking a second student to the Hospital Wing. So early in the school year, yet so many injuries right away. Now, though, Vindictus needed help with the pixies, and it seemed like she and Kurumi were the ones meant to be organizing that help.

...and just how did she get stuck with Hollingberry?!

She wanted to protest, but of course she didn't. After the Gryffindor girl's outbursts, she wouldn't dare question Vinny Boy. "Yes, Professor," she said, gripping her broom a bit tighter. She turned to the injured girl. "Just stay still, and as soon as I help clear the field of Pixies, I'll come back and get you."

"Alright, everybody!" she said, loud enough to where the entire class could hear her. "Listen up, please! We need everybody to form a huge circle around the perimeter of the field. Once we get into place, Hol--Kurumi will give you the next step of directions!" she said.

...and to prove they were ready to get started, for the pixies were getting pretty powerful out there, Sierra flew upwards and off to the side. She got into place and waited for everyone else.

From where he now was Gideon heard Vindictus' pronouncement of detention upon the errant Gryffindor and he did his best not to respond. It wasn't like he was going to protest seeing as she did rather deserve it with her behavior. The prefect listened to the rest of the quidditch official's words, nodding as Sierra the Slytherin prefect was instructed to take Oichi...he finally remembered her name...to the hospital wing and told the older students himself included of course to help handle the still troublesome pixies.

"Aye professor," he replied quietly to show he understood. His borrowed broom resting in the grip of one hand, Gideon slipped his wand from his pocket with the other and went off a short ways to contribute to the cause. The sixth year ducking as the nearest one to him took aim.

"Immobulus!" he cast, shootingt he freezing charm at that offensive pixie first as he straightened back up. Looking for his next targets, he repeated the spell twice more at a gathering of pixies a few feet above as a younger student called out for help, freezing them in place as well. Five down...plus Vindictus' two. How many more were there?

Annabelle did what she was told, she fly down and circle the perimeter of the stadium. She knew she could use the "Immobulus" charm. She waited till the right time to use it. She felt one tugging her hair and then 4 more were around her. She decided it was the right time to use it! "IMMOBULUS!" she cried. Then the creatures stared dumbstruck. Then they were going down to the pitch were they belonged.

Nodding towards Professor Vindictus when he gave her and Sierra instructions, Kurumi pulled up on the handle of her broom to rise some more into the air. Her thoughts went to the younger lion for a moment, who had just earned herself a detention, but there was a swarm of pixies that needed to be taken care of before more chaos ensued.

Hearing Sierra bark out the first set of instructions, Kurumi couldn't help but smile at the Slytherin using HER NAME! It was almost enough to bring tears to her eyes. Kurumi...so, there still was hope of them being friends after all? Kurumi did feel bad for Sierra, sort of. She knew what her home life had been like and that, well, she really didn't have many friends at Hogwarts.

She rose higher into the air now and opened her mouth. "OI! WAIT! DON'T START THROWING SPELLS AT RANDOM!" She shouted. Honestly...Professor Vindictus had JUST told them to listen for instructions. With people throwing spells all over the place, this was going to be a disaster. She threw Gideon and the Hufflepuff student pointed looks. "As Sierra said, EVERYONE form a perimeter around the pitch. On my mark, I want everyone to fly towards the middle to herd the Cornish pixies there. Once they are all clustered together, THEN we start casting spells." NOT NOW or else this was going to be nothing but a MESS.

Kurumi waited for everyone to get into position. Once everyone was, she raised her right hand high above her head to get everyone's attention again. "4th through 7th years! Wands out! 1st through 3rd years, get ready to help herd them towards the center."

Kurumi waited another few moments for everyone to get into position and then gave a quick nod at Sierra. "Okay! Let's GO!" And Kurumi leaned forward on her broom to move forward.

OOC: Hey, guys! According to the professor's post, this was meant to be a group RP led by Kurumi and Sierra. We're posting the plan now, so please hold off on casting Immobulus too soon. Thanks!

NEW PLAN! So that no one has to wait and can just jump right in! You can RP your character getting into position or just starting from their place in the perimeter moving towards the center. Once your character has herded the pixies there, 4th-7th years feel free to cast Immobulus. 1st-3rd years can maybe scoop them up out of the air and deliver them to Professor Vindictus?

Minerva saw an older student point his wand, please don't hit me, please don't hit me. She kept saying in her head, but then she saw him point and hit the pixies. "Great Job" She yelled towards the boy and headed out to find more pixies. She hated having them follow her, but if she had people like him get them quickly she didn't think it would be that bad.

Argh. Sierra ignored her. The Slytherin Prefect just flew away when she asked if she was alright. Can't blame her though, they were in the midst of a crisis and her being a Prefect, of course she was just busy.

She zoomed off to where Professor Vindictus and the Prefects have assembled to organize their plan and get rid of all the cornish pixies. Okay, fourth to seven years will do the Freezing Charm, she's a third year which means she'll deal with herding the Pixies to the center of the Pitch.

With a nod, she kicked off the ground and up she went into mid air again. Yet...how in Merlin's underpants were they suppose to bring the Pixies to the center?

AHA! Maybe she can shoo them away? Pfft. In the spur of the moment, she couldn't really think straight anymore so she went with her first idea: Shoo them all away.

The Ravenclaw leaned forward on her school broom, and swished round the pitch, trying to get the attention of the bloody critters. "Here pixies..." she yelled out in a sing-song voice.

Oichi smirked as the professor sang out her punishment. She had expected it but she did not expect him to sing it. She then heard the professor tell some girl named Sierra to take her to the hospital but soon realized she was given another duty to do first which made Oichi realized that she was gonna be laying there till after class, errr! She groaned from frustration and pain. However she knew she had done the right thing in her mind, but at what cost. She had just earned herself some alone time with Mr crazy was professor. That certainly could not end well. Oichi cringed. It was worth it. You are gonna be okay. Mr. Crazy is no match for you. You'll be fine. No Worries. And you still have a necessary diversion at the hospital wing. Yes, I am fine

Belle misunderstood the directions and began to fly down towards the center. She had her wand ready at her side. She was ready to cast when the people or teach in charge gave the signal to cast. She wanted to get rid of these creatures fast and effectively.

Kennedy hovered next to a few older students with his wand out. Those stupid pixies were finally going to get a piece of him. Yep, they weren't going to get away with pulling at his hair, hitting his head and biting his ear. He was just going to immobilize them, but still, he could rub it their face.

At Kurumi's go, Kennedy leaned forward on the broom. He was purposely wagging his wand at the pixies. If they tried anything funny he had the Professor's permission to use magic.

He glanced around, his hand itching to just flick and freeze some of these blue monsters...and go get something to eat because his energy levels were running low.

As Silvia headed towards where the professor and several of the students were gathering she caught the last bit of commotion coming from a small Gryffindor and the professor. Really? She was glad it wasn't a Ravenclaw. Sure, she thought that Professor Vindictus was crazy at times. But she would never say that to him. Insulting any teacher was enough to get in trouble. And trouble was something Silvia preferred to avoid at all costs.

Silvia listened to said crazy professor's next instructions. Immobulus, so that was the spell to take care of these Cornish pixies. She would definitely have to practice that later. For now Silvia took a look around. The professor wanted them to herd the pixies into the center? How were they supposed to do that? Wouldn't it be easier for the older students to fly around and cast immobulus, and then have the younger students follow after them, picking up the frozen pixies and carrying them back to the cage?

Suddenly the prefects began shouting directions. Oh, good, a plan. Silvia liked plans; very useful. She waited on the edge of the pitch until the Gryffindor prefect gave the command to start. But wait, there was still the question of how to actually get the pixies to the center. Oh well, she would just have to figure it out along the way, she thought as she pushed her broom forward. Maybe chasing them was the answer?

Sierra leaned forward on her broom and drove at top speed, forcing a herd of pixies to gather in the center of the pitch. She felt powerful and victorious, like she'd won over something that was trying to win over her. When the pixies reached the center of the pitch, Sierra flickered her wand out her holster.

Lucky for her, holding something in one hand and steering a broom in the other was like second nature. She was a Beater, and although she was used to holding a bat, which was much bigger than her wand, she at least had a good feel for things. She pointed her wand forward and got a good aim. "Immobulus!" she finally called out, her wand aimed right at the pixies.

Jory did what the two prefects had instructed and at Kurumi's ok, he zoomed to the middle and assisted the others to get the pixies to the center. It was a bit of work, considering that the creatures weren't willing to do what the students wanted them to do.

Finally, everyone managed to get the pixies rounded up. Jory aimed his wand and cast the charm. "Immobulus!'' he said and instantly the little blue creatures froze, some with comical looks on their faces.

Alyssa hovered next to Minnie as she allowed Ella to use her shoulder in order to mount Minnie's broom. As Minnie took off with Ella, Alyssa followed close behind, leaning forward on her broom gripping it with one hand while holding onto Ella's broom with the other. Once she saw that Minnie had landed safely, she headed towards the ground, pulling back slowly on the broom handle until she was hovering a few feet off the ground. She then planted her feet firmly on the ground and handed Ella's broom to her.

"Here you are Ella. Your broom, safe and sound." Alyssa handed over the broom to Ella.

Alyssa then realized that the students were casting spells at the Pixies. 'Wait we're not supposed to use magic right? ' Alyssa was puzzled wondering what she had missed.

But she figured that since everybody had their wands out, she unholstered her wand and looked to see what the Professor was doing and realized what was going on. She listened as Sierra and Kurumi gave instructions on what to do.

She leaned forward on her broom, pointed her handle upwards and joined the older students in corralling the pixies. Once she had joined the circle, with one hand gripping on to the handle, she took aim at one Cornish pixie that was heading towards her and pointing her wand at it, said,"IMMOBULUS".

A beam shot out and hit the Pixie and it froze in it's tracks. One down for the count.

Ha, Second Year.
That proved why he found this easier than she did. Keeping pace with Zack, Chelle struggled to stay on the broom.
"Yeah, I'm a First Year, and until a few days ago, I had absolutely no idea that brooms could fly," she said, gloomily. She came from an alien world, and this was so, so strange to her. Sometimes, she felt so lonely over here, especially since she didn't even have any friends at Hogwarts yet. Pushing those thoughts away, she said, "I'm Michelle, by the way, but you can call me Chelle."

She heard Professor Vindictus yell something to everyone, and strained her ears to hear what he said.
Er, round them up? How are we supposed to do that?

She glanced at Zack and a moment of understanding passed between them. She nodded and zoomed in towards the Cornish Pixies coming their way. This was going to be tricky, grabbing them, but that's what they had to do. With one hand gripping the broom firmly, she caught one Pixie in the other hand and flung it towards the Professor. Then she looked back at Zack. "Oi, Zack, I can't catch all of them on my own!" she said.

Alyssa hovered on her broom making sure that none of the pixies escaped their surrounding circle. She made sure that she stayed out of the way of the other students and their wands because she had no intention of getting hit with anyone's freezing charm. There looked to be some overzealous younger students and she was worried for their safety too but figured that the Prefects would keep an eye on them.

She saw three pixies trying to make sneak through a gap in their 'human' circle. Alyssa quickly leaned forward on her broom and sped up to reach them before they could escape. As she flew towards them, she pointed her wand at them and aiming at them, said, "IMMOBULUS". A beam shot out from her wand and hit the trio point blank. They immediately froze where they were and stopped moving.

OWHHHH. He wasn't allowed to use the spells?! Not fair. Though, possibly very smart...

Oh well. Instead, Theodore spread out his arms like a big protector, trying to box some of the pixies in. He did kind of think that this was the professor's job, but whatever. One pixie that was escaping tried flying over his head, but Theo's hand shot up and he managed to grab it by the foot.

"HA!"

He flung it back into the direction of the Slytherin Prefect. WAHOO. Hopefully it wouldn't hit her on the head or something...

Zack looked almost stunned to see what was coming up next. Well this professor was really mad. He didn't have any idea what they were going through at all. Man! is he really that crazy or what? Or was he just too evil to try and kill all them all. his brain was racing through a lot of thoughts at the moment and it was like his mind was blank and all he could think and see was the pixies all off the pitch.

He suddenly looked at the gryffindor giving out the instructions to carry the task of course they didn't had to worry it was to be handled by the older students. He was just a second year, how was he supposed to do all of it on his own. All he needed to do was to bring the pixies to the center of the pitch. Well that should be easy? he thought.

He looked back at girl still too busy at the moment to remember her name if she did say. He looked at her almost surprised as she took hold of the pixie. "Hey, what are you doing? You don't need to catch them now, it's only them the spell is applied you need to hold them and take it to professor, now you don't, just leave it." he shouted at her full in shock and surprise. "Comon, we need to get them in the center." he said as he saw a few coming towards them. He hurried his wand back in his pocket and turned to look at her, asking her to follow. "Just see that they follow you to the center."

Wincing and rubbing her fingers where the Cornish Pixie just bit her, what Zack said caught her attention.
Don't need to catch them now? Oh, I've made a complete fool out of myself once again.
Chelle's face was scarlet with embarrassment. She nodded and made her way towards the center where she could already see a herd of Cornish Pixies gathered. She knew that there were others following her. She could hear them squeaking and squealing as they did so. She hoped Zack was behind her, because if he wasn't, someone else had to be. There was no way she could manage all the way to the center on a broom which could kill her- not on her own.
