The Stands
 

Jayden was completely STOKED. It was the first match of the year!

"CAW CAW RAVENCLAW!" She cheered loudly, wrapping her arm around Cael's.

"It sure is cold out here!" Jayden mumbled, her teeth starting to chatter in the cold December air as she leaned in closer to her boyfriend.

Alyssa decided that despite all the homework that was piling up and waiting to be done, that she had to come out and watch the game between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. She knew that she was early, but was glad that she wasn't the only student sitting on the stands. She had made sure that she had dressed warmly for the day and that she had brought a very large warm blanket, and was wearing her leather gloves and scarf, because even though tht sun was shining, it was starting to get really cold. She tried to find a spot where the stands would shield her from the wind and quickly sat down.

She looked around and wondered whether Professor Bentley would show up to watch her former House play. She said that she would, and Alyssa said that she would sit with her and help cheer. She just didn't say which team she would be cheering for.

Making her way to the stands, Kurumi tugged on her high ponytail and adjusted the green ribbon in her hair. She had struck up a deal with a certain Slytherin that she would wear something green after all. Kurumi was amused at just how often she was making deals with Slytherins - ignore that she was currently head over heels for one as well.

A smile on her face, Kurumi made her way through the still somewhat empty stands with a very large thermos of hot chocolate in one hand and a box of simple chocolate chip cookies in the other. Finding a spot towards the front, Kurumi took a seat and set her things out while she waited for the others to arrive.

The first Quidditch match in this term would be interesting! Not only because it was Slytherin vs Ravenclaw match, but also her best friend, Zhenya Burton would be one of the player there, as a beater.

"GO GO SLYTHERIN!!" Raven shouted. Then she looked for a seat and sat next to the Gryffindor prefect.

"Do you mind if I sat here?" she asked.

Cael used his wand to conjure a Ravenclaw-themed scarf around their necks, afraid that Jayden might be too cold to endure the match. Wrapping an arm around her, Cael self-consciously gave her a quick peck on the cheek before echoing her chant as loud as he could.

"Let's go Ravenclaw!!!" he yelled, absolutely jazzed for the match.

Looking up, Kurumi hadn't expected to see Raven to be the first person to find her, but she wasn't about to turn down the girl's request to sit. "Of course not," the Gryffindor chirped, scooting a little bit to the right so that the younger Slytherin could take a seat. "Would you like some hot chocolate? This December weather can be pretty rough." Hopefully it wouldn't start to snow...all blizzard style, during the match.

Daisy walked out to the pitch and up to the stands, grinning with excitement. It was the first Quidditch match of the year, and how they played would depend on how and who Hufflepuff played. She, of course, was supporting Ravenclaw, but not too much. She didn't want people thinking she actually liked the team... they were just kind of, well, friendly enemies that she preferred to win over Slytherin.

She slipped into the stands, carrying a mug of hot chocolate charmed to keep warm and stay dry if it rained, and put on a blue scarf over her other clothes, to show who she was supporting.

Elliot had decided to go to the game. Weirdly enough, she actually wanted to support her house...

She had a bronze scarf wrapped around her head, and a pair of sunglasses to cover her eyes. She sortof looked like a little diva.

She noticed Caelius and Jayden, but she chose to ignore them!

"Thank you!" Raven smiled and then sat next to her. She took her binocular from her bag. Using binocular to watch quidditch match was better. She could see the player clearly

Then Kurumi offered her to have a cup of hot chocolate. Hmm.. Seemed good! The weather was very cold, it meaned that winter would be come soon.

"I'd like to have some." She said. The match was not started yet, she was looking forward when Slytherin against Ravenclaw.

"Hmm.. What do you think about this match, Kurumi?" She asked the lion prefect opinion.

Anyone?
 

Lilly shivered, taking a place in the stands to watch the match. She was obviously supporting Ravenclaw, not because her pride lay with them, but because she wasn't about to cheer for Slytherin. The lioness was dressed up warmly for the cold weather and had a flask of hot chocolate in her hand. Her long hair was tied up in pigtails and she'd forgotton to put on a scarf. Uggh. At least the girl had a hat and gloves.

Transfiguring one of her candy wrappers into a small cup, Kurumi poured Raven a cup of hot chocolate and handed it to her before pouring herself one and taking a small sip. "MMMMMMMMMMMMM," she mumbled in warning. It was still FAR too hot to drink. Hopefully that had been transmitted in her mumbling and slightly squished up features.

Sticking her tongue out and hoping that some of the cold air would ease her tongue's throbbing. And then the younger girl was asking her a question. Awkward. Slowly slipping her tongue back into her mouth, Kurumi thought for a moment. "I'm afraid that I am really not up to date on Quidditch this term," she said with a slight frown. This mostly had to do with her no longer being a member of the Gryffindor team and sort of tuning Selina out whenever the captain went on and on about the sport. "But...I think that this will be a good match. Slytherin and Ravenclaw always put together a good team...although...I am wondering how Slytherin is going to recover having lost so many good players. Evelyn was virtually unbeatable as a Seeker."

"You were a Gryffindor seeker last term, Weren't you?" Raven asked. She remembered that last term she saw Kurumi on the match. "Do you play again this term?"

Ah, Raven had never played Quidditch in serious match. This term she TOTALLY failed to be on team. Worst than last year tryout. She was envy with her friend, Zhenya who successfully became on of the team. She sipped the hot chocolate from Kurumi. Hmmm... a warm drink was a good friend for this cold weather.

She heard Kurumi told her opinion about this match. And yes! Slytherin lost many good players because they were graduated. Well, she didn't know about Lola Jones.

"Yeah.. I saw there were new good players on team. But no one were as good as Evelyn Flores. And I don't know where was Lola Jones. She dissapeared."

Freeze. Well, that is what Kurumi did at least. It was almost as if in not moving the question that had just been asked of her would go away. Unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen. "I...was..." she admitted slowly. "For two terms. I decided to give it up though." Quidditch just wasn't in her blood and, well, with her renewed fear of flying...

And then Lola came into the conversation. Kurumi really missed that girl and she was one of the things that had made Quidditch fun for her the previous terms. From the giant signs and T-shirts to throwing cookies at people, Lola had been one of a kind. "I've heard that she went to live with a flobberworm colony as their queen." Well, Lola HAD told Kurumi that she was queen of the flobberworms once, so it made sense.

The first match of the term! Slytherin against Ravenclaw and Daichi was ready for it.
He wore a green scarf that was wrapped around his neck and half of his face from the cold. A green hat that was a little too big for his head and he had to push it up a few times when it fell over his eyes.

Green flags with a snake printed on it were in both of his hands. One green, one silver. The match hadn't begun yet but he had heard students cheering for their favorite team already. And Daichi...well he was no exception.

"GO SLYTHERIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN~!" he shouted at the top of his lungs. A little too loud because a coughing fit followed behind it.

The stands aren't that full when Janice arrived. She wrapped her scarf around her neck more tightly as the December wind rushes past her. She was always reminded that she tend to catch a cold if the temperature is colder than usual, so she brought her wand in case she needed to magically warmify the piece of metal she was clutching. She took a random seat, waiting for other people to come.

Daichi shivered a bit from the cold as a breeze swept over the stadium. But he was too excited to notice though. His dark brown..almost black eyes were twinkling with excitment and he bounced a little on the seat as if he had drank an energy drink.

Looking around for someone he knew, he saw Kurumi talking to Raven a little further but he was too lazy to stand up and walk towards them despite his..ehm..hyperness.

Daichi looked to his left and it was then that he saw the DADA Professor in the arena. "Hi Professoooor~" he called , waving his arms up and down. "Who are you cheering for?"

Raven just listened to Kurumi and a little bit about her quidditch experience. Huft.. She was a little bit envy with Kurumi. For two terms she couldn't be in team. First, because she had fever and second, her ability suddenly became worse. She just hope she could be better for the next term and be in team. A slytherin never give up for her dream, right?

Hmm... Hot chocolate from Kurumi could make her became warmer. It's also delicious. She felt her tounge burnt while Kurumi told her about the lost captain Lola Jones.

"Queen of flooberworm?" she was surprised. "Sadly. She was very brilliant in Quidditch. I thought she became more serious in Quidditch."

Then, back to match topic.

"I'm sure Slytherin could win in this match." Since Raven joined the tryout, so she knew some of the players and most of them were... awesome.

Slytherin versus Ravenclaw today huh. It's been awhile since Jonathan watched the Slytherin game, so since he had a time off, he decided to enjoy the game this time. Now, he is hoping for the Slytherins to win. Last term, they had the best quidditch team and now that most of them are gone, Jonathan feels uneasy about it. He trusts the new ones but he's just used to seeing the former ones.

Going up up the Stands, Jonathan spotted Professor Romanos and of course, Daichi. He went next to them and decided to sit there. This would be the first time he had conversed with the DADA professor.

... "Hello Professor Romanos" he gave her a smile "hello Daichi" he smiled at Daichi. WAIT! Does Daichi already know that Jonathan knows who he is? Or were they still playing that game?

Shoot!... Oh well...

Jonathan just starred at Diachi, grinning. "So professor, who are you betting on?" he asked casually as he took a seat next to Daichi.

Jory was looking forward to the first Quidditch match. He was supporting Ravenclaw, of course. He had come prepared for the cold weather, bundled up in a yellow sweater his mom gave him.

There were a few students already out. Jory even spotted the DADA professor. He headed off to find a good spot before it got too crowded.

Thankful that no further questions were asked in regards to her personal Quidditch journey, Kurumi continued to sip on her hot chocolate. She hadn't removed the lid on her box of chocolate chip cookies, but she did so now and set it to the side. Raven was free to take one if she so desired.

"I actually had my first conversation with Lola over this topic," Kurumi nodded. It had been frightening to be entirely honest. The girl had been wiggling around on the floor of the kitchen claiming to be on the brink of starvation and Kurumi had given her cookies. "I am not sure Lola ever really took things seriously...Lola was just...Lola."

Kurumi sipped some more and nodded. They would just have to wait and see how the match went. Ravenclaw were not a team to take lightly. Then again, neither were the lions - or so she had heard. Kurumi hadn't actually been to any of the practices to watch the team this term.
And then Kurumi's gaze caught Daichi. Well, it was more like she heard him before anything else and a small smile tickled the corners of her lips. When he happened to be looking her direction, Kurumi waved at him and then pointed to her thermos of hot chocolate. Daichi did like chocolate after all.
Soon after, Professor Romanos entered the stands. Oh, right, Kurumi had promised to sort of give her a run down of Quidditch. Her, Kurumi Hollingberry, the girl who still let the word waffle slip when she was talking about the quaffle, was going to attempt to explain the sport.

This should be interesting.

Just as Kurumi stood up, grabbing her thermos and cookies, she saw that Jonathan also made his appearance. Even more reason to go over to the professor, right? Hehe.

"Good day, professor," Kurumi said with a small small, taking a seat next to Jonathan. He was looking awfully...blue today. "You...rooting for Ravenclaw?" she teased, sticking her tongue out and nudging him softly while her right hand played with the necklace around her neck. Her cheeks flushing, Kurumi unscrewed the lid to her thermos, the aroma of chocolate filling the air.

"Anyone want some hot chocolate?" And cookies, but that was a given.

Moving around to find a good seat, her gaze shifted automatically to looking for whoever was saying hello. Of course, there Mister Katharos waving his arms. "Good day, Mister Katharos." she grinned, enjoying the fact that she could see her breath. Though the question about who she was cheering for had her stumped. She'd never seen the players in action before. "Oh, I don't know. Which do you think I should cheer for?"

Just as she was sitting down, she looked up to see another one of her students there, making her wonder just how many of them would show up; and how many of them would be Hufflepuffs. They seemed to like the gobstones sport. This was apparently a very popular sport all around though. "Mister Kim. Hello." she smiled, though momentarily had a guilty yet amused expression cross her features as she glanced to Mister Katharos just for a split second. "I am not quite sure actually." Not yet anyhow...

Perhaps three opinions on who to cheer for would come in handy. "Hello, Miss Hollingberry. Keeping warm?" she smiled, pulling her jacket closer around her neck. What with the smell of chocolate filling her nose, she relaxed a bit more, yet still awaiting anxiously for the game to start.

Though she did shake her head politely to decline at the offer of the warm beverage, still avoiding the prospect of sweet foods or drinks after all those welcome gifts from the beginning of the year.

Making eye contact with Kurumi as he looked her way. He noticed that she held up a can of..whatever was in it. He thought it was some hot drink seeing as how cold it is but...he liked his place right here~ He waved at her but then let out a yelp when someone greeted him from next to him.

He turned his head to the side and looked at Jonathan. Daichi shrugged his shoulders as he said his name, real name though. "Hiya~ ...I already know that you know who i am.. Aurora suspected it and told me" and he playfully hit his arm. But..something was off with Jonathan now that he was looking... His clothes looked blueish O___o

"TRAITOR!" he gasped, pointing at his clothes. He is a Slytherin right?! WHY have Ravenclaw colours?!

But his shock didn't last long as he caught a sniff from the sweetest smell in the world. The young slytherin sniffed the aroma and he almost drooled at the smell. He knew what that was! "CHOCOLATE~! GIMME GIMME GIMMEEE" he extended his arms and motioned with his hands for the Gryffindor Prefect to give him some hot chocolate.

Over his excitment from the hot chocolate, Daichi did here the Professor talking to him. He turned his attention towards her and blinked. She didn't know who she should be cheering for? "Slytherin..defenitely Slytherin .. we are the best~!" and he said that with pride.

QUIDDITCH!

It was just one of those things that she would gladly part with her greenhouses for. The thrill of the game, the skill, the adrenaline and of course the memories... she wouldn't miss it for the world. Another reason why she couldn't miss the game, was because Ravenclaw were playing in it. Sure, she was the Gryffindor Head of House now... but that didn't mean she'd forgotten the Eagles. Heck! she was one!

No.. Seren would be there to support them, so long as they weren't playing Gryffindor of course. She could already imagine that match up... and the awkwardness, and the uncertainty and mixed emotions. On the plus side, she couldn't lose right?

Seren didn't mind the wintery weather. With the right charms and nice cup of tea pre-match, she was toasty warm. Shuffling along the seats in the front row of the stands, Seren snagged a seat and waited anxiously for the game to start. Quidditch! THIS was where the action was!

Minerva went up to the stands and found a place to sit. She was nervous for Harvey's first game. She had put a blue hair clip in her hair to cheer on the claws.

Jonathan raised an eyebrow as he starred at his wardrobe. Oh right. "Wrong outfit" he chuckled. He actually didn't know he was coming to watch the game. He just wanted to check out things that are happening. Well, still he should have at least worn the Slytherin scarf instead. BUT then again, he did say he was just going to pass by and maybe go back to the common room afterwards. Jonathan isn't really much of a quidditch fan.

Jonathan waved his hands and shook his head. His tongue was already burnt from having that hot chicken soup in the morning. It was so good yet the soup was sooo hot it burnt his tongue.

Oh, so the DADA professor remembers him. That's good. Plus, Jonathan has 3 letters as a last name, it's not that hard to remember really. Jonathan doesn't know that much about this professor because first and foremost she's new. She's not an alumna at Hogwarts too so she can't really decide on which team to pick. "Go green, professor" he tried joking around, just to ease up. Well technically he's not really joking about the cheering for the Slytherins. It would be nice if she did.

He gave out a small laugh.

Really? Aurora was the one who deducted this and not him. "Really, Daichi?!" he said, pinching the little boy's cheeks. Well, to him he's still little even though Daichi is starting to have that puberty change going on.

TRAITOR?! Jonathan laughed. "Bloody no" he told Daichi "Most of my stuffs are either black gray navy and blue" apparently Jonathan needed more green to his wardrobe because other than his green Slytherin scarf and uniform, he doesn't own anything green at all.

Brooke, bundled up in her winter cloak and slytherin scarf, made her way through the stands to find a seat. She was really excited for this game, and she hoped it would be just as good as all the quidditch matches last term. Although, she didn't really care for this match as much as she would for one against Gryffindor, she sat down on one of the seats in a content position to watch the game.

She looked around at all of the people up in the stands, and gazed out over the quidditch pitch. She marveled over the the way the field looked, brand new almost, and it looked like it hadn't been used in a while.

She pulled her cloak around her more tightly, and felt her face become cold in the winter breeze. Her ears stung, and her nose was probably red as can be. She heaved out a sigh and watched the breathe in the air dissappear. She decided that the best way to warm up would be to cheer of course!
"GOOOOOO SNAKES!"she said cheerfully.

Ella was beyond excited for the start of quidditch. She had been doing a lot of reading on the sport and couldn't wait to see it played in person. Anxious to see the first match, she hurried down to the stands and saw a few hufflepuffs among the crowd. She smiled and sat with them, pulling her coat tighter around her. It sure was cold out!

"Trying my best, professor," Kurumi laughed with a small shake of her thermos. Although Kurumi wished she had brought some green tea with her instead. Most people at Hogwarts couldn't handle the bitter flavor of the tea though. The Gryffindor preferred that to any of the sweeter tea options available.

Kurumi took another look out at the pitch and couldn't help but giggle as Jonathan and Daichi offered up their professional opinion about to place her bet on for the match. Subconsciously, Kurumi adjusted the green ribbon in her hair.
"Well, seeing as no one else seems to want any of it..." Kurumi laughed as she leaned over Jonathan for a moment to hand Daichi the thermos. "You can have the rest of the hot chocolate." Honestly, and Daichi thought that he was being more mature? He was still the adorable little snake that she knew and saw like a little brother - and he could stay that was for a while longer. A long while longer.

"Professor Bentley!" Kurumi waved, sitting back up straight now. It was no surprise to see the Herbology professor here. Kurumi had this image of her getting on a broom herself during a match because those on the field were not doing things properly - or something like that.

Kurumi giggled. "Well, you may be happy to see that I am sporting just a little Slytherin pride myself," she winked, pointing to the ribbon in her hair. True, it had been Kennedy who had made the deal with her to wear it, but that small detail wasn't important.

Her gaze went back to the pitch now. Was that...the teams running a few warm up drill and exercises? It really wasn't too much longer until the match started, so that made sense. Kurumi leaned her head and rested it on Jonathan's shoulder. Kurumi had something to give Jonathan, a Christmas present of sorts, but she wasn't sure when to do so exactly - not that she really could do so right here in the middle of the stands.

Selena adjusted the little hat she had placed on her pygmy puff's head. Then she adjusted the one on her head and placed Kent atop of her green hat. "HEELLLOOOOO!!!" Selena exclaimed, waving a Slytherin flag in her hand enthusiastically as she beamed at everyone. Yes. Selena was at an actual Quidditch game. What were the odds of that ever happening? Heh. But this time she was actually going to CHEEEEER. Because it was supposed to be fun. "How's everyone doing?" Selena asked before taking a bite out of her chocolate bar in her other hand.

She had to stay awake somehow after all.... she was pretty sure the match wasn't going to be thaaaat interesting. "Goooooo SLYTHERIN!!!" Selena added, bouncing up and down before plopping down in a seat and smiling at everyone around her. BECAUSE SHE WAS HAAAPPPPPPPY. Obviously. Or had too much sugar...

The first Quidditch match of the term! Slytherin against Ravenclaw! Messer definitely ready for this match. Its pretty cold outside so he bundle up in his winter cloak, a blue scarf wrapped around his neck and a blue sombreno that is too big for his head. He's promised Ellie that he'd wear a sombreno to Ravenclaw match. So here he's.

When he arrived at the stand, some students already there. Mostly Slytherin though and they're shouting like crazy! "GOOOOO RAVENCLAW..!!!" he shouted.

When Messer turned his gaze, he saw a very familiar face. "Kurumi!" he gave the older girl a wave. He looked at Kurumi's outfit. Slytherin? It seem he's in the wrong side of the stands.

"How are you?" he asked her while took out his blue maracas from his bag.



Well, it seem today match not only excited the students but the Professor as well. "Hello, Professor Romanos and Professor Bentley." he greeted the two Professor with a polite nod. "So which team are you cheering for?" he asked.

She could've guessed he'd be cheering for Slytherin, if only from the sudden exclamation of Mister Kim being a traitor. It took her a moment to realize the color of the clothes the older boy was wearing was what caused the outburst. She chuckled quietly. "One vote Slytherin then."

Two votes for Slytherin.

Yet the way he suggested it had Medea laughing. "Can't argue vith that." There was already a good amount of 'green' fans in the stands from what she could see. One more couldn't hurt.

Good. The possibility of catching a cold out here was too high. Rubbing her hands together, after a moment, she tugged her gloves out of her coat pocket to put on. "Certainly going to help me vith vot's going on in the match, right?" she asked with amusement, glancing to the Gryffindor girl out of the corner of her eye as she fixed her gloves. Either that, or she was going to be just as lost as she was with gobstones.

Looking around for the new voice, Medea smiled at the young Hufflepuff. So there were a few who were showing up. "Good day, Mister Messer." she smiled as her attention was momentarily changed towards the blond haired woman. "Professor Bentley."

As for who she was cheering for... "Apparently Slytherin." As suggested by a few students.

She was already so engrossed with what was happening on the pitch... and what was about to happen, that she had only barely managed to pull her attention away from the view in front of her.

Who was calling her name?!?!

Of course, it didn't take long to realise that the familiar sound came from one of her very own, and it was a pleasant surprise.
"Hi there Kurumi," she called out whilst returning the wave.

It wasn't too long after that, that she heard another familiar voice. This time from one of the young Badgers.
"Ahh hello Edvard, how are you today?" she greeted warmly. This was certainly going to be an event for the young lad. Hogwarts quidditch matches were just phenomenal.
"I'm supporting Ravenclaw this match... it'd be nice to see them get up over the Snakes this year." Seeing as the Snakes already had their moment in the spot light. They didn't need any more trophies for a while did they? Naaahhhh.

Professor Bentley? ... a bit formal? Nonetheless Seren returned the greeting with her usual smile. "Professor Romanos."

Selina was late.... How was it that the Gryffindor Quidditch Captain was late to a Quidditch match? Was that even possible? Apparently it was because she was late... As in super late. The game had already started by the time she had gotten there. Running up the stands she finally saw a group of Gryffindors and Kurumi and Bentley. She waved spastically at the pair and sat beside them, "Hey... what did I miss?"

Even though she felt a bit sorry for not trying out for the team, Gwendolyn thought she had to be there to support her house. As she rushed to get in time to the stands, she couldn’t help hearing the Slytherins getting overly excited. Well, if they wouldn’t have played against Ravenclaw, she would have cheered for them too. But under these circumstances… ‘GOOOO RAVENCLAW!!!’, the third year cheered.

As she looked around, the third year noticed two of the Professors were already there. ‘Professor Bentley. Professor Romanos’, she said with a nod. Formal enough, right?, the girl asked herself and then tried finding a seat. Well, not exactly near the Slytherins… because it would be odd cheering for different houses… While scanning the place, something blue cough her eye.

WHAT.IN.MERLIN’S.NAME.IS.THAT????

A sombrero??? Blue maracas??? WHYYY?, the third year thought, looking really puzzled. Even though she tried not to, Gwen couldn’t help laughing. That kid totally made her day.

Selena heard a person screaming kinda Go Ravenclaw and the tiny Slytherin turned to see a GIANT blur hat and blinked in confusion. Just... what? "Psssst.... you're wearing the wrong colors," Selena called out to the boy. Because it was OBVIOUS that this place was supposed to be covered in one color only - green. For all the epic Slytherins. Or Awesometastical, as she liked to call them. After all, it was HER house and HER word - it just made sense.

Selena took another bite out of her chocolate bar and patted the violet pygmy puff on her head before waving her flag again.

"SLYTHERIN RULES! WOOOT. GO SLYTHERIN!"

Yeah. Take THAT you Ravenclaw person. Was the kid even a Ravenclaw? Psht. Who cares? Slytherin was going to CREEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAM the birdies. And hopefully turn them into chocolate. So Selena could eat them. Or attempt to feed them to Kent.

Good day indeed. Then Messer frowned when he heard that the DADA Professor was cheering for Slytherin. "I see. Then we're in the different team then, Professor." Too bad!

"I'm fine, Ma'am. How are you?" he asked while fixing his sombrero. He should asked his grandma a smaller one. This one its little too big.

YAY! Even though Professor Romanos is cheering for the Snakes at least Professor Bentley is cheering for Ravenclaw. "YES! I'm looking forward to it." GO EAT THOSE SNAKE, ELLIEEEEE..!!!

Messer eyes went to a new arrival. Its the same girl who gave him a shirt back at the Diagon Alley. What's her name again? Selena? Selani? Oh yeah "Hey, Selina!" he waved using his maracas. "You haven't miss anything. They just announced the roster." he said.

Messer turned his gaze to one of the loud Slytherin. "No, I'm actually wearing the right color." She's the one who wore the wrong color because Ravenclaw gonna squish the snakes today. Even though he's not an Eagle but still Ravenclaw FTW..!!

He stood up before he shouted "GOOOOOOOOOOO RAVENCLAW..!!" and stroked his maracas.

Aurora climbed up to the stands with her signature green and silver ribbons in her hands. She got to the seats and gazed around for someone she knew. Whilst she was looking she tied her red curls into high bunches with the ribbons. QUIDDITCH!! She was pretty excited for the first game of the season.

And now... the game had officially started. No points yet, but Jayden was hoping for a win. They needed to win the house cup this year. No if ands or buts about it.

"Thanks for the scarf." Jayden blushed, looking up at Cael before turning back to the game. Jayden loved Quidditch and was thinking that next year was going to be the one where she tried out.

"Come on 'claws!!" She cheered, waving her blue foam finger that she had bought over the summer. This was going to be a great game!

Jordan shivered slightly as he made his way into the stands, he recognised the familiar screech I mean shout of one Jayden Troutwater who was with Cael! He hadn't seen them in ages! He crept up to them, Sticking his head between them and yelling "COME ON RAVENCLAW!" in greeting, hoping they wouldn't attack him.

Ella saw a younger looking boy sitting close by. Another first year maybe?! She smiled at him, wondering why they hadn't met yet. "Hi, I'm Ella." She said smiling. "Big quidditch fan?"

As the game began, Keefer took out his notebook and began to scribble which players were in which positions. He had trouble writing anything else, as the flow of the game was interrupted three times by penalties in the first two minutes. What an odd game this is so far... He hoped it would settle down. This was the first match of the season, after all. Jitters were bound to be running high.

Alec blinked down at the pitch. So many penalties were given out! Surely people knew how to play this game! He plopped a gummy bear in his mouth as he watched on. The blue team seemed to be winning... Poor Asher. That boy wasn't going to like this at all. And speaking of Asher... wasn't he meant to be playing?

But before Alec could look around properly, someone seemed to be talking to him. Tearing his eyes away from the pitch, he looked to his side and saw a girl who seemed to be just as young as him. Maybe.

"Nice to meet you Ella," It was a nice name! "I'm Alec, Alec Summers." Ella didn't need to know his surname but right now, he was too used to giving that little piece of information out. "Yeah, I love Quidditch!" Erm... I'm on the Hufflepuff Team, actually," Alec should not have said that either. "Are you?" If she was, they could have a nice long chat about Quidditch! Yay! "Oh, do you want a gummy bear?" he asked, holding the bag out towards the girl.

Ella smiled. "Nice to meet you too Alec!" Alec Summers...what a great name! Ella's favorite season was summer so she'd definitely remember it. "I love Quidditch too!" Ella said excitedly. "Congrats on making the team! I'm not on it, too afraid to try out this year." She frowned a little at this. She really wished she had given tryouts a go. "Next year I will try though. You must be excited to play!" She looked down at the bag and nodded enthusiastically. "Sure, I love gummy bears." She loved any candy actually. Truth be told she loved food in general. "Who are you rooting for?" Ella turned her attention to the pitch while waiting for his answer.

Others can join us, as Lily doesn't really know anyone. :)
 

Lily had bundled up warmly for the first match of the season, her first ever match to watch. She knew that Taylor was on the Ravenclaw team, but wasn't sure whether she would be playing or not. As she walked up into the stands, Lily looked around for somewhere to sit, preferably with someone she knew. She spotted Lilly, and headed up to go sit. As she walked up the steps, she noticed that the match had already begun. Once she reached where Lilly was sitting, Lily spoke up. "Hey Lilly, mind if I sit here?" indicating to the seat next to Lilly. "I'm so excited!!" Lily grinned widely, even though it wasn't exactly visible due to her Ravenclaw scarf around her neck.

Kurumi et Bentley
 

She was looking toward Professor Bentley and Kurumi when suddenly she heard a tiny voice call to her from the other end of the stands. The redhead turned her head with her hands in her pockets to see Messer, the 'Puff who had been quite the talk of the school as of late, yelling to her the status of the game. Selina nodded at the Hufflepuff and yelled back over to him, "Thanks Messer!"

Then she heard a tweet and the game had begun. It seemed that Selina had shown up just in time.

Scratch... scratch... scratch...

Alec grinned at sight of the boy sitting not too far away from him. A boy who seemed to be busy scratching away in his notebook. That red hair was very very familiar! It was hard to mistake this older boy for someone else. After all, he had just seen this boy not too long ago!

"Someone seems very prepared!" he said, grinning at the boy, "Does Captain Keefer want some gummy bears?" And with this, he held out his hand that was clutching the open bag.

Alec grinned. This girl seemed nice. And a little excited as well. Not that he minded, of course. It was better than Ella being... upset and in a crying mood.

"It's a great game," he said, "Do you go to Quidditch matches often, then?" This was his first time coming to a match properly... and he loved it! "Thanks! he said, grinning, "You should have tried out! I can imagine you being great at the game!" ... He could have kicked himself for saying that last bit. "I am!" he said, "Truth be told, I'm a little nervous as well. The game's really, really soon!" And it was his first time playing this game properly. GULP!

Alec smiled. She loved gummy bears as well! How great was this? "Feel free to take however much you want to take," he said, putting the bag down on the armrest between himself and Ella. "I dunno," he said, "I was about to go for Slytherin but my friend, Asher, isn't playing so i'm neutral today. But it looks like the Ravenclaws seem to be winning!" A blue person seemed to have caught the snitch before the green person. "What about you?"

Kennedy made his way to down to the Quidditch pitch with a sligt grin on his face. Even if it was cold and his nose was red because of it, he was excited to see the match. It was first one in the term and of course he wasn't going to miss it. Sure, he had homework and some O.W.L revisions to do, but Quidditch sounded like a MUCH better idea.

His green eyed scanned the seating area searching for a certain Gryffindor. They had made a deal and he wondered if she actually went through it. His eyes finally settled on a green bow and he smirked a little when he saw that it belonged to Kurumi. "Hey, Kurumi," he said, waving from where he stood. "Nice bow," he said giving her a thumbs up. She seemed to be busy by all sorts of students so he'd talk to her later.

Then he spotted Selena and he wondered if she was up to cutting his hair. Sure, he was scared to end up with some weird looking hairdo...or worse, bald. But, he didn't have the guts to cut it himself. "Hi Selena!" he greeted. He could tell she was already hyper. He wondered how many sweets she's already had. Hmmm.

His eye were quick to spot a certain redhead, and a smile spread on his face. "Aurora!" he said. He sat next to her and gave her s quick peck on her cheek. Some professors were around and he didn't want them thinking that he wasn't being decent.

Aurora turned to see Kennedy and grinned, "Kennedy!" She shifted over in her seat so he could sit next to her on the bench. She took hold of his hand, her eyes glued to the game. "Just got here? There've been three penalties already!"

He chuckled when Aurora didn't shift her gaze from the game. It was...cute. He was glad to have a girlfriend that enjoyed Quidditch as much as he did...or even more?

M'hm," he nodded, but his attention was suddenly on the game. "No way! From who?" Not Slytherin, pleeaaaase!

"Hey there, Alec! Yeah, I'm trying to be. Anything I can do to give us an edge, you know?"

Keefer was hesitant at the proffered bag. Gummie... bares? "I'm not sure I'm familiar with those. Er, what are they, exactly?" He was afraid to look.

"No, problemo." He said. "So who are you cheering for, Selina?" Please not the Snakes. Not the snakes.

Then his eyes saw another two familiar faces who just arrived. "ALEC!" he waved his maracas toward his pillow fighting opponent. "You're cheering for SLYTHERIN?!" Really Alec? Slytherin?

And the other person who just arrived was Captain Keefer. He's apparently come to scribe some notes. "Hello, Capytain." he greeted the older badger. "You know Captain, if you want to do a Homework you could do it in the library." Or in their Study table.

Then the first year was standing in his feet when he saw the Snitch. ITS THE SNITCH..!!! "COME ON ELLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..!!! CATCH THAT SNITCH..!!" He shouted.

And Professor Vindictus announced that the Ravenclaw caught the first snitch. "YAY! ELLIE..!!!!" he shook his blue maracas with the rhythm. "ELLIE IS OUR QUEEN..!!!"

Ella shook her head. "No actually, I've just been reading all about the sport and its history and all the teams in the Quidditch league. I'm a big fan of the holyhead harpies! Girl power and all that." She said smiling. "This is my first time seeing it played live though so I'm pretty excited." She blushed a little when he said she'd be good at the sport. "T-thanks." She thought he'd be good as well, he made the team after all! "Being nervous is understandable but I'm sure you'll do great!" She couldn't wait to see Hufflepuff play, she'd be a cheering machine!

She watched as he put the gummy bag down, telling her to take all she wanted. That was a mistake on his part, she could eat A LOT of gummy bears! "Be careful! I've been known to eat an entire bag of these things..." She said, giggling. She wouldn't eat all of his of course. "I'm neutral as well. I know some people on each team!" Turning her attention back to the game she cringed a little, watching a Slytherin get knocked from her broom. "Ouch!"

Brooke watched contently at the field as a penalty had already been called. I'm sure that the snakes were just nervous, and this would soon wear off. I mean, everyone has first game jitters, right? Brooke answered her own question by thinking that she would for sure be nervous. As the Ravenclaws scored, she had begun to doubt her thoughts. Ravenclaw was up by ten points already! She shrugged it off and continued to watch the game.

Slytherin took the lead by ten points, and Brooke stood up to cheer. "That's it snakes!!" She screamed. She sat down again and watched the game. Another handful of penalties were given out. She shook her head in dissapointment, maybe this group of athletes need to learn the rules of quidditch!

She watched Slytherin plummit to zero points, and she suddenly became nervous. They might lose she thought, looking at the score and how Ravenclaw was up by fifteen points now. A silent wail filled her head and she leaned back and decided to just enjoy the show.

Selena was watching the Quidditch match intently still unable to make heads or tails of this game. Where was Emma when she needed her? Selena took another bite out of her chocolate bar, trying to find out why exactly people were getting penalties and the whatnot. This game was frustratingly annoying.

Then she heard someone say hello to her.

Looking around for the person who had said hello she spotted the Slytherin Prefect. "HELLOOOOO, Young Grasshopper!!!" Selena beamed, waving her flag at him and taking another bite from her chocolate bar. "Scream out Go Slytherin. Okay?"

Because she was preeettty sure Slytherin was winning. Right? She had absolutely no idea.

He heard a familiar voice and recognized it at once as Messer. He was chastising Alec for his cheering preferences. "You know, as a House we should want Slytherin to win. After all, they are less of a threat to us in the House Cup race right now." Just some food for thought, there.

"Oh, I'm not doing homework," he laughed. "I'm actually--"

He broke off as another Snitch sighting occurred. He watched as Ellie made a spectacular grab and the Ravenclaw fans erupted. He clapped appreciatively, then went back to his notating.

"I'm actually taking notes on the game," he continued. "Kinda scouting out the players, which moves they use alot, figuring out how to best prepare us for when we have to play them."

Oops, two penalties, not three
 

"One each... and we're not doing very well." she said, frowning slightly. "Come on, come on, come on!!!!!!" She was frowning a little bit - enjoying the game, but very involved.

Ravenclaws were winning! By Snitch captures! Slytherins were winning by points. But Snitch captures were what mattered, according to Keefer, so... Ravenclaws were winning! Alec was secretly glad they weren't going against those blue people next. Instead... he had to go against his best friend. Fun(!)

And speaking of best friend... there she was! "Anya! You made it!" he said, grinning, "And you brought hot chocolate! Thanks, Rilez!" Hot chocolate was exactly what they needed right now! It was really very cold! Much colder than it was back at home!

"Sure i did!" he said, "You want some?" Anya was definitely the one to get him into the habit of taking gummy bears around with him when it came to watching sporting events. And he knew she was coming so... gummy bears were necessary.

Oh right! Anya didn't know Ella! "Anya, this is Ella! She's a Quidditch fan as well! And Ella," He turned to look at Ella and smiled. "this is Anya. My best friend and a Gryffindor first year!" Introductions... were done!




Alec chuckled at Keefer. He was such a good Captain! "Are you scared about our first match, then?" he asked. Hopefully the boy was scared because Alec was absolutely terrified!

Keefer... didn't know... what gummy bears were? How can anyone NOT know about gummy bears? They were the most delicious things ever! "They're sweeties that are shaped in little bears!" he said, "Here, try one." Maybe Keefer would like them! Everyone had to like them!



Alec grinned as someone called out to him. IT WAS THE OWNER OF THE DEADLY PILLOW! The boy who probably walked around with pillows stashed in his bag. He, Alec, wouldn't have been surprised.

"MESSER!" Alec yelled, waving back at his dormmate, "I'm... cheering for both teams!" More like not cheering at all. He really should do some of that. "Nice maracas, mate!" They shared a dorm and were now playing on the same team. Really, the boy was just following him everywhere.



Alec raised his eyebrows. She had found out all she needed to know... from books? "That's a smart move, Ella!" he said, impressed with the girl, "The Holy... holy... they're a girl team?" There were all girl Quidditch teams? That was quite good of them. The girls. They must be brave! Anya could definitely play for that them. "Really?" he asked, "This is my first time as well. So... you've never played before?" He could just teach her how to play. If she wanted to. "Thanks! I take it you'll be cheering for your house?" What house was she in, exactly?

Alec let out a small chuckle. "It's a good thing i have more than one bag of gummy bears, then," he said, nodding over towards his bag. There were plenty in there! "Aren't you popular!" he said, "The Ravenclaws seem to be winning! Their Seeker's really good!" Better than the Slytherin one, at that.

"Yes, I know that." He nodded his head. "But Ellie is not a Slytherin." he said plain and simple. That is the first reason he's cheering for Ravenclaw and beside he's not a big fan of the Slytherin house.

Then when Keefer was gonna answered his question another cheer broke. Instantly the first year boy turned his gaze back to the match. Ellie already caught the second snitch.

"YAY ELLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..!!!" As usual he shook his two blue maracas. Two downs one more to go. "GOOOOOOOOOOOO RAVENCLAW..!!"

His gaze went back from the match to his Quidditch Capytain. "Taking notes?" Okay.

"But your outfit is SO green. If you cheering for both team you should wear more natural color." he told Alec. "Like yellow!" Yellow is a natural color, right?

"Thanks." He grinned. "And I'm going to give you one." he said. Then Messer's eyes went to a girl who sat next to his roommate. "Its look like Alec already has a girlfriend." he said with a smirk. "Hello, I'm Messer." he greeted Alec's girlfriend with a nod.

Ella nodded, smiling. "Yup! All girls. It's pretty awesome to me, especially since I want to play someday." Ella spent lots of time daydreaming about playing on a professional quidditch team, wearing the colors of the harpies. That would be awesome. Too bad she didn't even know how to play the sport. "Nope, never played. I'm getting the hang of flying though and I love it. Learning how to play is the next step." Would she be cheering for her house? Of course! She loved to cheer. "I forgot to tell you, I'm a hufflepuff too. Strange that we haven't talked before this huh?" She smiled, shrugging her shoulders. "We've met now though. Expect me to be one of the loudest in the stands."

She smiled at his popularity comment. "No, not really. Just friendly!" She turned her attention back to the game, focusing on the seekers. "The seekers should be good, they have a lot of responsibility!"

Anya handed the mug to Alec. "No problem Blakey." she said with a smile. She set the thermos off to the side and took a few sips of her own hot chocolate.

Mmm! Much better!

"Of course I want some. Do you even need to ask?" she said holding out her hand. Gummy bears and hott chocolate. It was just like home. Except... they were watching quidditch instead of football.

She nodded a short greeting to the other girl. Anya still wasn't used to the fact that Alec would be making more friends. She just assumed he made yellow friends... and that was were he kept them. Just like how she made red friends and kept them in the common room.

"That's going to be us up there soon." she said watching the game. She gave Alec a little shoulder bump. "You ready for it?"

"Scared? Not exactly. More like worried. I've never been Captain before and it will be my first big test, you know?" And if they lost his name was mud. "I've been playing long enough that it's not really an issue of being afraid anymore. Just positive nerves that turn into adrenaline." He nodded.

Sweets? Hmm... He fished into the bag and pulled out a little red bear. He popped it into his mouth. "Mmmm!" he said as he chewed. "That's really good! Can I try another flavor?"

Lily stood up, she had never seen something like this. Ravenclaw had the lead, and their seeker had spotted the snitch! Lily was so excited, she looked around the stands to see some others celebrating as well. She just wanted to see how it ended, with all the excitement going around. This is awesome! she thought, her eyes not leaving the action on the pitch.

Selina was watching the game intently as it was progressing. While she was enjoying the sport in general she had a dual purpose for being at the game. She was watching the teams just play in general. She knew that her pride would soon have to play these teams and if she had a general idea of how they worked together as a team she would be able to better manage practices in a way that would help her team in the long wrong.

Her blue eyes skirted back and forth between Slytherin and Ravenclaw when she heard a familiar voice yell great job at the pitch. The redhead did not even look to the side to know it was one of her Chaser's, Gideon Gert. "You're late," she said flatly. Cracking a smile at him she looked at him and said, "Its okay I was late too." Her head snapped back toward the pitch, "Ravenclaw is in the lead."

Lilly looked up as she heard her name. "Hi Lily!" she said a little too enthusiastically, knocking the cup of hot chocolate in her hand all over her coat. "Scourgify," the Lioness muttered, causing the hot mess on her lap to disappear. Uggh, Lilly was so clumsy. "Of course I don't," she replied as if nothing had happened. "I'll be supporting Ravenclaw. My friend Harvey's playing in the Claw's team this year," the blonde grinned broadly. Lilly wasn't wearing a Gryffindor scarf, due to the fact that her house team weren't playing, but she wasn't wearing a Ravenclaw one, but a plain muggle one she'd had for her tenth Birthday.

Gideon had a feeling Selina had registered his presence even before she spoke up talking directly to him without turning. "My humblest appologies, m'lady," he remarked given the impression of a repentant servant as he half bowed. Though when he raised his head, his face smiled back at her before following her gaze back to the game. The 5th year nodded as he was filled in on the status of the game so far.

"And who are we...well ye rooting for?" he asked as they watched the action. Gideon himself was leaning towards Ravenclaw to keep the snakes from heading towards the championships once more. But judging by what was happening in the sky above the pitch in front of them it could go either way.

Lily saw that her gryffindor friend had knocked over her hot chocolate. But as soon as she had opened her mouth to offer napkins or something to clean up the mess, it was gone by magic. "How do you know all of these spells?" Lily asked sitting down. "I'm glad you are supporting Ravenclaw. I really hope we win." She said as she shivered a little, before turning her attention back to the game.

Tay spotted her friend and came down the stands to sit by her. "Hey Lily, awesome game so far right?" She smiled and looked over at the person that Lily was talking to. Taylor smiled and held out her hand, "Hey I'm Taylor."

His outfit was very GREEN?! But he was wearing bits of blue and green. How can he be more green? "But i'm wearing blue jeans!" Alec said, pinching his jeans. Natural colour... Alec let out a snort. "And cheer for Hufflepuff instead?" He actually would have done that if Messer had done that as well.

"Really? I get to use one of the deadly maracas? Gee, thanks!" Messer had better have a set of maracas that were yellow...

O___O Girlfriend? Why did Messer just call Anya his 'girlfriend'? "She's a girl... who's my best friend," he said, eyeing the fellow he-badger, "We all know that you're secretly in search for one." Nudge nudge, wink wink!



Alec nodded along. A Quidditch team full of girls... He should know realised that there would be such a thing. And... Ella wanted to play for them? "You'll be great at Quidditch one day," he said, nodding. He would have asked her to send him free tickets... but that would be a step too far. "I hear there's a place where you can practice playing," he said, "Who knows, you could make it onto the team next year." Maybe she could be like Keefer one day. Captain of a Quidditch Team. Alec grinned. She was a Hufflepuff! "That is strange!" he said, "I think I've seen you around the common room before, though." That was slightly creepy on his part. Alec let out a chuckle at Ella's last comment. "I'd feel so proud then!"

Just friendly... "You're also very modest," Alec said, nodding at her. She was obviously popular if she knew some people on both of the teams. He... didn't know anyone flying up there. "You're right. And both Seekers seem to be flying better than any other player in their teams." Something he had picked up whilst watching the match.



Alec looked down at the pitch as he took a sip of the hot chocolate Anya gave him. "Mmmm! Anya, this is good!" he said, licking his lips. This and the Quidditch. And the fact that he was sitting here with some of his friends and his best friend!

SNORT! "Of course not!" he said, holding out the bag of gummy bears towards her, "Take as much as you want, Rilez!" Not that she needed telling twice, of course. The girl might just finish all his gummy bears if she knew where his secret stash was.

Alec gulped. It was enough that he was soon going to be playing in his first ever match of the term but... did it have to be up against Anya's team? "i hate the fact that we're going up against each other," he said, "I... don't know. Keefer's a pretty good Captain and the team's great. You ready?"



Alec blinked. He didn't understand why Keefer should be worried. But then, as he explained everything to do with being Captain... Alec couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy. It must have been hard for him. "No one will think anything less of you if we lose," he said, ruffling his hair, "You'll do great! We all will. We could just make this our year." They were winning on house points so maybe they'd win Quidditch as well?

Alec grinned as Keefer reached into the bag and took out a gummy bear. A red one! They were the best! "You like them?" he asked, the grin spreading across his face, "Sure, take as much as you like!"

But then the cheers made Alec turn his attention away from Keefer and look towards the pitch. It seemed... as though the blue's had won! Even though both Seekers seem to have gained quite a bit of injuries. Small injuries. Good. "Well done Ravenclaw!" he cheered, clapping his hands. These blue's were really good!

"NO!" Aurora shouted, dropping Kennedy's hand and jumping out of her seat. "But..." She couldn't even be bothered being annoyed about it... it wasn't exactly a long or entertaining match to be honest. They'd win the next one... maybe...

Lily saw Taylor sit down next to her out of the corner of her eye. "Hey Taylor, this is crazy! Where have you been?" Lily replied not looking at the other ravvie because she was too focused on the game at hand. As Tay introduced herself to the lion, Lily spoke up. "Oh, I've never introduced you two... Tay, this is Lilly. Lilly, this is Taylor." Lily stole quick glances at each of them before returning to watching the match, and just as she did the snitch was caught by none other than the Ravenclaw captain, ending the game. Lily jumped up in victory, cheering really loud. "Yeah!!! Go Ravenclaw!!!" Lily turned to look back at Taylor and Lilly. "I can't believe it... my first ever match and we win!!"

Wait. WHAT? "Oh. No, no, no. We're neighbors. We've been friends forever." And then before she had time to think about it the words "I'm single." also left her mouth.

She then blinked several times at Alec. Was that a hint for her? What was going on? Alec was getting all guy. It was weird.

Oh right. Names. "I'm Anya."




Anya smiled and continued to drink hers. She was a hot chocolate genius. The secret was to use more than one powder. She always mixed a few different ones together.

Anya took a handful of gummy bears and popped them in her mouth. Mmmm! Perfect. Quidditch. Hot chocolate. Alec.

Today was perfect!

She played with her cup nervously. "Not really." she admitted. "I'm kinda scared. What if I'm horrible?"

She glanced up again just as the birdies caught another snitch. Was the match really over already?

Before Tay could respond to anything, Ravenclaw won the match. She jumped up and cheered, "Yes!" Taylor blushed and looked at Lily, "That was an amazing game! Oh and i was higher up in the stands." She laughed.

Ella smiled at the girl who was nodding to her. She couldn't help but feel that the girl was not pleased that Ella was talking to Alec. She looked away, focusing back on the match.


Ella nodded, smiling brightly. She hoped she would be good one day. Merlin knew she'd been practicing. "Yeah I've been out there practicing a couple of times! It's fun, flying. I really enjoy it." Ella was sure she'd seen him around too. In some classes and the common room mostly. "I've seen you around too."

Modest huh? Ella guessed that was true, most of the time anyway. She nodded at his comment about the seekers and just as quickly, the game was over. She stood up, clapping. "Yay Ravenclaw! Good job both teams!"

Kennedy tilted his head to the side, surprised to be called that outloud, but he soon beamed. It was a funny name, besides he's never had nicknames...except Kenny...that one was a big no-no.

Be did as she said...'cause of course he was going to cheer for his team.

Then...just like that the game ended with Slytherin losing. He looked over at Selena with pout. "We lost," he said. They LOST!
Kennedy nodded at the information Aurora gave him. Darn it! He should wake up earlier next time and make it on time.

He stood up and did fist bumps in the air, cheering for the green and silver people. It was actually a lot more fun when he was with someone that enjoyed it and got as loud as he didn.

"Gaaaaah!" he said, running his hands through his massive hair. This wasn't....Gaaaaah!

"Great job, Snakes!" It didn't matter that they lost. They did their best and that mattered too.

They Lost?!Brooke had just witnessed Slytherin losing to Ravenclaw by 145 points. How could this happen? She shrugged and realized that it doesn't really matter, she just hopes that the players won't get too down on themselves. They could still win their next match. Brooke rested her face in her hands. She suddenly realized how cold she was again, and pulled her coat around her. Oh well, I guess it's time to go. She heaved out asigh, and her breath stretched out like fire from a dragon. She stood up and left the stands.

From all of the reading, from all of the books, and constant bickering, Violet had finally read up and touched up on her Quidditch. All thanks to none other than Selina Arden Skylar. Who Violet constantly told her that she was a crazed and persistent girl, whom Selina would just smile and simply respond to her,'I know.' To make sure she was paying attention each time either team had scored, Violet would draw imaginary numbers on each leg for each score to keep track of who was winning. And from the looks of it, if she had been counting correctly, Ravenclaw was winning.

As the Chasers raced back and forth across the pitch Violet's violet eyes seemed to be darting back and forth. It was until Violet had noticed red hair in the stands across the way and when she squinted her eyes trying to get a better look she had also noticed curly brown hair. When she figured out who those two figures were Violet gasped and and stood leaving her seat. She quickly ran down the multiple stairs until she reached the bottom of the stands she was in. Then making a quick dart up the new stands she had entered.

After many stairs Violet had finally reached the stands of cheering students. She then made her way over towards the red and curly brown haired people. A big smile had come upon her face and she raised her hand covered by a black glove waving eagerly. Violet then said brightly,"Hi Sely! Hi Giddy-eon!" She sat besides her friends asking with another smile,"Good game wasn't it?"

Selina smirked at him when he called her m'lady. Chewing on her bottom lip to restrain herself from showing him her smirk at the nickname she lightly pumped into Gideon's shoulder and retorted, "Well sir, next time try not to be so late.". Her attention was directed back to the game. It was moving so fast paced now as it came to a climax.

Briefly she replied to his comment, "I'm leaving toward Ravenclaw.". As the game came to a close she stood up and watched the final few moments in anticipation. As the game drew to its climax Ravenclaw swooped in and won. The already standing Selina jumped up in excitement. Ravenclaw had won!

She started to applaud wildly for the Ravenclaw team. Yes! The redhead leaned down in the excitement of the game, grabbed both sides of her boyfriend's face and kissed him. She was thrilled that Ravenclaw had won. That would show the Slytherin's who had been so adiment about their second year of a threepeat that they could be beaten. Ravenclaw had just proved that.

Suddenly her eyes widened at the realization of what she had just done. She sheepishly looked at Gideon and said, "Oh.. erm sorry..."

Selina gulped looking at Gideon. She had been excited in the heat of the game and the prospect of Ravenclaw winning. She did not want Gideon to be angry with her or upset with what she had just done. A blush encapsulated her face and she only got redder when she heard Violet call to her from the other end of the stands into she finally reached them.

Looking down at her shoes Selina said, "Oh hey Violet... Yep.... Good game."

Well at least they were rooting for the same team, a small portion of him wondering if it was for the exact same reason. "Aye...me too," he remarked to agree with Selina's choice. When the excitement built up, Gideon turned his attention back to the game fully though staying seated as his other jumped up to her feet.

Applauding for the Ravenclaw win, he was about to say something when he suddenly found Selina leaning in and kissing him, the action successfully silencing him. And when she pulled away in surprise at what she had done, Gideon had to admit they were probably both red in the face and not because of the cold blustery weather of December they were currently surrounded in up and out in the stands.

The moment was ackward for some reason despite the fact that Gideon himself wasn't thinking bad of it. But thankfully the arrival of Violet into their midst provided a distraction at least for now. "Umm hello Violet," Gideon greeted, offering a small smile despite her insisting on using the nickname she did. "Aye...a good game. Guess this means its Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff next..." he mused looking between the two girls hoping for a reprieve in topic until he remembered too late Violet's house.

That would be interesting.

Right before she had reached the two, the match had just ended and multiple people were on their feet, including Selina none other. And apparently in the midst of so much excitement, her excitement had gotten the better of her and Selina had kissed Gideon. It was actually the first time Violet had ever seen the two kiss, she had only heard about it from Selina, but now that she had actually witnessed it Violet wanted noting more than to go on a rant about how adorable they were. Especially since they couldn't even look at each other after Selina had kissed him.

And Violet knew that of course they were going to try and act as if nothing had happened. So she figured that she would be nice and let it go. But Violet wasn't really sure of what to speak about next since this moment had become so awkward. And there was a moment of silence between the three. But thankfully Giddy had eventually spoken up filling the silence and had mentioned what houses would be in the next match. She smiled eagerly waiting to hear who would be next but Giddy had absentmindedly said it would be Gryffindor....versus...Hufflepuff. Of course Violet knew that the conversation was going to be even more awkward now, especially since the topic had involved Quidditch.

Violet then asked lightly,"Oh? Really? ...How intriguing..Umm..Do you know when the next match is?" At this point Violet was trying not to look at Selina knowing that she was going to go on a rant about how Gryffindor was going to crush Hufflepuff. It was the matter of waiting for when she was going to on this rant.

Ryan walked up to Lilly shivering.He tapped her on the back,''Hey Lilly.''He said smiling.''Mind If I sit here.''He said pointing to the empty seat next to her.

"Messer! Hey," Kurumi beamed as she looked at the first year Hufflepuff. "Hot chocolate? That is...if Daichi hasn't drank all of it already." Which there was a very good chance that he had knowing that Slytherin.

Kurumi spotted is blue attire and smiled. She was trying to go neutral for this match, wearing a navy blue sweater and a small green ribbon, but she was dating a snake after all.

"I can certainly try, professor," Kurumi nodded just as the roasters were announced. It was so strange looking at the Slytherin roaster and not knowing most of the team's members. She knew more on the Ravenclaw team to be honest...which she still hoped would lose this match so that its captain could learn some more humility.

Kurumi wasn't sure why, but she always got the feeling that that girl had it in for her...
When the match started off with two penalties, Kurumi's jaw dropped. That...wasn't very much like Ravenclaw to do such things...but, perhaps a sign in the right direction? Kurumi somehow doubted it. A veteran Seeker again someone she hadn't ever seen play before...

When the first snitch was caught by Ravenclaw, Kurumi sighed and relaxed a bit as the game was reset and noticed a wave from Professor Bentley. Probably best not to distract the woman while the game was going on.
Kurumi scooted a little closer to Jonathan to allow Selina more room to sit and didn't even ask if she wanted cookies. Nope, the Gryffindor simply picked up the box and set it on her best friend's lap. "Nothing but Ravenclaw dominating," she said in as neutral speech as she could muster as the second snitch was grabbed.

Kurumi smiled and waved at Kennedy when he appeared in the stands as well. "I did promise you that I would," she laughed as he went to sit elsewhere. Yep, and she was going to hold him to that promise or else no cookies.

And then...that was it. The game was over and Ravenclaw had won. Kurumi turned to the crowd of snakes she was sitting with and sort of...remained silent waiting to see what their reactions were. Thankfully, Jonathan wasn't a huge Quidditch fan like her so chances were that he would be pretty mellow. Daichi on the other hand...well...the boy was always a bit dramatic and animated.

Selina nodded when Kurumi swung her up to speed on the latest happenings of the game. On one hand Selina was glad that Kurumi was still interested in the sport, but there was a part of her that, seeing Kurumi in the stands, reminded her that the prefect was not going to be playing with Gryffindor this term. While that made her sad she quickly forgot her sorrows when Kurumi placed a box of cookies still warm from the oven in her lap. She did not say anything more and went to work appreciating all of the hard work that Kurumi had put into the cookies.

As the game pressed on Selina watched carefully without saying a word. She was studying their every move and every play. A Captain's greatest tool was to know their opposing teams.



Selina could have curled up in a corner or ran away after what she had just done. Honestly, she had not intended to make things awkward, but it seemed, by the look on Gideon's face, that she had done just that. She could not account for her own face, besides the burning she now felt in her cheeks, but she could see Gideon's face getting redder and redder by the moment. The redheaded Gryffindor could have kicked herself for doing what she had done. It was no secret that she and Gideon were kind of awkward with the whole relationship thing. There was a line the two had yet to cross when it came to their relationship. Sometimes they acted more like best friends than people who were dating. However, Selina had just danced very directly on that line with her latest move and she was blushing thoroughly because of it.

The awkwardness that was filled when Violet arrived was, thankfully, interrupted by Gideon's swift thinking on his feet. He changed the subject as not to make things awkward and she was glad that he had done so. They would talk later... or not at all... or... ugh she didn't know. She had some serious thinking to do about her actions.

When the subject was changing to Quidditch Selina's face flushed with relief. Thank Merlin, a topic she could discuss at any time and feel comfortable. He posed the question about the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff game and Selina simply affirmed, "Yep, we're next on the roster. As for when we are playing them- within the next few weeks. We do have the holidays coming up." Her blue eyes shifted to look at Gideon for a second before she shyly looked down at her shoes.

Violet seemed to be her usual cheerful self despite the news of the upcoming competition between their houses. At least vocally...seeing as it wasn't hard to notice her not looking at Selina. Great job Gert...ye just made it more ackward. He was just batting a thousand at the moment and was mulling over the thought of just staying silent for the moment. Gideon absently shook his head weakly before his attention returned to Selina as she answered her own part of the conversation.

"Aye...can't forget them," he remarked with a simple nod. Even if he chose not to celebrate either Christmas or his birthday, he couldn't really escape it with most if not all of the castle doing so. He met her gaze for a moment before she turned away, the boy inwardly sighing to himself.

Seemed like they were back to this from last term.

"Well, but most jeans are blue." Aren't they? "Not really." But then again cheering for Hufflepuff in Ravenclaw and Slytherin match? Maybe he'd do it it the next match after the Hufflepuff vs Gryffindor.

"They're not deadly." At least not as deadly as his pillow that for sure. "No problem." He'd asked his Grandma to send him another pair of Maracas but this time he should ask for a yellow one. "Beside you could you use it to entertain yourself up there while you're searching for the snitch." But he doubt that Vindictus allowed them to bring a maracas while the're flying.

Best friend?! He was supposed to believe that? Yeah right! They seem really too cozy for a best friend. They even share hot chocolate and eating gummy bear. See. See. "Nice to meet you, Anya." he nod curtly. "I'm sure Alec would love to change that status of yours." *grins*

He's looking for a girlfriend? HE?! O____O

"Pfft. No. They're too weird for my liking" he said. "No offense, Anya." he added it quickly.

Hot chocolate?! Who could refuse a hot chocolate in this kind of weather. "Thanks." he eyed the older Slytherin hoping that he left him some. "Who are you cheering for?" he asked. But then after that question left his mouth he heard Vindictus announcing that Ravenclaw win.

"YAY! WAY THE GO, ELLIE..!!!" he shouted while doing a happy dancing. Take that Snakes! Next match his house vs Gryffindor. He can't wait for that match!

Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff match -starts here-
 

Kurumi made her way to the stands sans her giant sun hat. She had mentioned that she would wear it, promised in fact, but with the somewhat harsh January weather it wasn't too practical, so she would save it for the next match. Once again with a fresh thermos of hot chocolate and box of cookies, Kurumi made her way through the stands and found a seat right in front.

She had a feeling that...being here was going to be awkward. It seemed that many people were still under the impression that Kurumi was still playing this term as Grryffindor's Seeker. It had been no secret that she wasn't, being totally honest and saying that she wasn't going to play, but there were still the occasional shocked look.

Kurumi toyed with the necklace around her neck as she waited for more people more people to arrive. Hopefully her lions saw her announcement about showing some real house spirit. Hehe.

Vashti made her way down to the Quidditch pitch, not one hundred percent sure who she was supporting. She had friends in both houses, though arugably more in Hufflepuff (not to mention her boyfriend, Anakin, was in Hufflepuff), and so the yellow tank top and the black coat and shoes could indicate she was rooting more for the badgers...but she wouldn't mind a Gryffindor victory either, honestly, hence the Gryffindor shirt. The lions hadn't had a lot of those in the past few years, and Quidditch wasn't fun when the teams were always in the same place every year. So either way, she wasn't going to be extremely upset by any outcome of the game, which was probably a good thing.

It seemed she was early though because the only other person that was there was Kurumi. That was fine though - at least Vashti knew where she was sitting...assuming Kurumi wasn't reserving the seats all around her for other people, of course.

"Hey, Kurumi," Vashti said as she reached her. "Mind if I sit here?"

Tayla made her way to the stands of the Quidditch Pitch. She was excited to watch the game, but also felt a bit disappointed she didn't get the chance to join try-outs. She would have loved to be on the team, or at least tried. "Next year, next year..." she told herself over and over.

She noticed two people already up front. Recognizing one of them to be Kurumi, she made her way there, too. "Hey Kurumi," Tayla greeted and wrapped her scarf closer around her neck. The cold breeze was a little stronger up at the stands. "Mind if I join you?" She didn't recognize the girl next to Kurumi, but gave her a smile as well.

Fluffing her bangs a bit, Kurumi looked to her right when she heard someone else arrive in the stands. "Vashti, hey," Kurumi said with a smile. "Not at all." Kurumi tried to stop playing with her bangs, but the nervous habit of hers had returned after the holidays. "How have you been?" Last time Kurumi and her had been talked had been during the entire thestral incident at the front gate and Forbidden Forest.
Turning around now, Kurumi saw that one of her lions HAD seen the memo and was now in the stands. Kurumi always knew that she could could on Tayla. She smiled at the younger lion and beckoned for her to come a little closer. "Of course not, please come and take a seat," she said.

Now looking at both girls, Kurumi removed the lid to the box. "Cookies? They are Selina's favorite, red velvet." Which made her wonder if someone else had seen the note left for them on their bed.

Zhenya was SO relieved not to be playing this Quidditch game. She was so nervous when she was preparing for the game, but now she didn't have to worry about playing.. winning or losing.

She had her long hair in a braid, with two small ribbons tied into a bow around the bottom; a yellow one and a red one. She would always root for her Green Team, but when she wasn't playing she would go for both teams. Or none... no - definitely both.

She had a special spot in her cheer today for Hufflepuff, because her Laura was playing.

Kennedy made his way to the stands feeling a bit strange wearing red. He had made a deal with a certain Gryffindor that if she wore green during Slytherin's match then he'd wear red for her match...and so, here he was with a red jumper and a grey shirt under it. Yep, he was still sporting one of his house colors. Hehe.

He looked around and saw that there were plenty of seats still available, but his eyes landed on the Gryffindor Prefect. He quietly tip toed his way to her. "Hi, Kurumi!" And yes, he said that loud on purpose.

Seren was super excited to see her Lions in flight. And who said Lions couldn't fly?! Having abandoned the stack of essays sitting on her desk, Seren made her way to the stands--eagerly! This time she was going to sit with her Lions donning her red and gold.

Having walked at a very quick pace, Seren trotted up the stairs in search of a good seat. Somewhere close, but not too close, but not too far back. Finally settling in a seat, she scoured her surroundings.
Where were all the Lions?!

Lilly wondered along to the stands with a flask of hot chocolate in her hand. It was a useful thing to have, she'd discovered last quiddich match. The lioness was wearing a lion necklace and a Gryffindor top, so there was probably enough house pride even if you couldn't actually see the t-shirt under her coat. Lilly grinned, looking round for somewhere to sit. There weren't many people there, but the girl didn't want to sit alone. Kurumi was already with a hundred people around her.

She saw Professor Bentley and went to sit down. "Morning, Professor," Lilly smiled at their HoH. "How are you?" she added, seeing where Bentley was looking. There weren't many Lions.

Roar, roar! Gryffindor!
 

Tayla sat down beside the Gryffindor prefect and suddenly wondered why Kurumi wasn't playing today. "Thanks!" She took one cookie from the box and bit into it. Delicious as always! "I love red velvet, too, particularly red velvet cupcakes." Tayla looked around as more people arrived at the stands and hoped more Gryffindors would come. The more of them cheering on, the better! She finished her cookie and thought out loud, "Selina should get a whole box of these after the game. They're so good!"


Tayla spotted Professor Bentley arrive. "Hi Professor!" she waved her Gryffindor flag happily towards Professor Bentley, though not sure the professor could hear her.

The atmosphere at the stands as people arrived was gradually getting more chatty and excited. Tayla was ready to scream her lungs out for the Gryffindor team.
