Adam managed a nod as Louisa commented that she already knew how to kick. Well if she knew how to kick and Adam had managed to at least teach her enough of the basics that Louisa could deliver an authoritative punch if she needed to, then she figured that their session was probably over. He could hear her as she moved and leaned herself against the table, listening as she mentioned that she was having a good time. Yeah...that was convincing. Cough. Cough. When Louisa said that she suddenly remembered something and that it was making her nervous about the whole training thing, Adam chanced looking up at her. Perhaps he had been completely misreading her sudden awkwardness and there was a reason behind it that was completely separate from him!

"Do you want to talk about it?" Adam asked, hoping that she would say yes just so that he would have some peace of mind as to what exactly had just happened to their cheerful and carefree training session. "And don't apologize for being a downer," Adam said with a small shake of the head. "Sometimes we just can't help how we feel or what things make us remember..."

Talk about it? Louisa shrugged. "It's not that big of a deal, actually." A complete lie there but she definitely didn't want to talk about getting awkward around him. It must be Paulie's hints and pushes that got her thinking about Adam as other than a friend. Grrr, that lion had definitely a wish to be killed by a brunette Ravenclaw. It was obvious.

"That's very true." She placed the bottle of water on the table and jumped a bit to sit on it herself. "Is it why you're less happy? Because I became flustered so suddenly?" Louisa's tricky question was very well thought of and her eyes hung on the boy in anticipation. His answer would show her whether this session would be 'destructive' or just an 'awkward moment' of theirs.

Nate closed his eyes and simply listened. Listened to the happy cheers of Poppy in the background, to Jez's breathing, to their footsteps, to the lyrics of the song. It amazed him how much Pam probably believed in the lyrics of the song. It even amazed him how much he himself believed in the lyrics. "We need times like these," he whispered to Jez, giving her a kiss without even missing a step of the dance. That would've been bad: if Nate missed a step, Jez would have missed a step. If Jez missed a step, she'd fall down. Granted, Nate would catch her, but she would still fall, and that would be dangerous. She might break a wand...

Pam spun around in time to the beat, letting the strange, ghost-like, boy lead her around the room. She wished they could stay like this. Twirling around and around, lost in the room, not having to worry about Jared or Team Wolf. Even Nate and Jez, happy together. But she let time go by, without worry. In a sense she let the time 'pass her by'.

As the boy spun her around once more, Pam's smile grew. And was that..? It was! She had giggled. It was the first time in months that she had done something like that. As the two passed under a dim light, a small glint of gold could be spotted in her eyes. Fro once, she was truely happy. She realized that the room wasn't some place for dueling, like Jez and Nate. But a place for the little things that Pam needed.

Jez smiled, returning the kiss. "Yeah," she breathed. She could do with a few more dances with Nate. Just in case she didn't get many more. He couldn't know how scared she'd been this year for her friends, and herself. Jez knew that she'd sooner die than let them get hurt, and she suspected that they knew that too. But how do you put that into words?
She took a pretty good shot at it. "Love you," she whispered, opening her eyes and looking at Nate. Lame attempt but it was really all she had. She kissed him lightly, then pulled away slightly to glance over at Pam and the ghost boy. Maybe she'd do better on this one. "Hey Pam?" she called. "I need you, you know that?" She relied on Pam a lot more than she'd initially realised. Nate was amazing, but sometimes she needed the stability of another girl as a friend.
Keegan would have called it vulnerability, Des would have called it feeling, and Jez called it being human.

Pam looked over at her, the shock of the statement noticable on her face. But she smiled and nodded. "Yea, I know Jez. I'm here for you." She continued her dancing even when the music stopped. She was happy, off in her own little world for once. Which didn't really happen anymore. And she knew it'd end soon. Either by going to sleep, and having nightmares, or someone getting a letter. But she didn't let that bother her. Not now. She was glad she finally felt needed. By both her friends.

Today was the day! Nessie was finally fourteen. She was fairly shocked with how the time had gone by so fast. It felt like only a day ago she was a little baby learning how to walk, but nope. She was all grown up and she wasn't a little girl anymore. Anyway, her birthday was definitely a cause for celebration, which was why she walked seven floors up to organize herself a party at the Room of Requirement.

Once she had reached the right tapestry, she walked passed it three times whilst keeping in mind, what she wanted the room to look like. She then saw a door apear and without any further hesitation she opened the door and walked inside. The room had magically transformed into the most beautiful, party room Nessie had ever seen and it was all in her favorite color purple. It was outstanding! She straightened out her dress and the went off to explore the room properly before people arrived.

The whole room was just filled with purple, which was exactly how Nessie wanted it. The seating tables were quite big and at least about ten people could be seated at each.

Not wanting to waste time, she moved onto the next thing that cought her eye, which was the neon dancefloor. It was purple, blue and pink and the square tiles kept on changing colors. It looked so awesome! This was probably Nessie's favorite part, especially since she loved dancing. There a DJ table right infront of the dancefloor and some good music was already playing. There was one more thing she noticed.

There was a big table that had nothing, besides for a purple table cloth on it, and Nessie guessed that it was for the food which she herself, had brought in a large bag. Around the table there were plenty of sofas that had all been arranged into circles around these gorgeous chandeliers . It all looked so exquisite and everything was just perfect. A smile huge smile lit up on her face and without further or do, she began unpacking all the food she had brought with.

She had brought so much food, she had brought Chocolate frogs, Bertie Botts, Red Vines, cookies, cupcakes, and any junk food that was imaginable. She was gratefull for the elves, because if it wasn't for them she wouldn't have had any food at all. There was only one thing missing and that was her cake, but Kurumi said she wanted to do that, which Nessie thought was really sweet of the busy prefect.

This party was hopefully going to be EPIC!

This was just not the type of environment that the fourth year was used to and the uncomfortable hands shoved in pockets stance gave that away as he stood in front of the wall that supposedly led to the Room of Requirement. He'd been told to concentrate and that whatever he needed will appear on the other side of the wall. So he did that, he closed his eyes and hoped that he'd end up where he needed to be.

And it worked.

Bradley took in his surroundings, noticing that he was the first guest there. He was wearing a little bit of purple, purely because it had said on his invite for him too. He didn't wear too much and he was glad he hadn't because the room was washed in purple, he would've blended in to the background, not that that was a bad thing. His hair was a little messy but he looked reasonably formal compared to his usual T-shirts and baggy jeans.

A purple box was placed under his arm, he'd vaguely remembered her mentioning something about no presents but he couldn't go without getting her a little something.

He noticed Nessie stood around and so he walked on over to her. They'd met a couple of times, passing acquaintances, mainly through his childhood friends Kat and Tom and so he'd been quite surprised but flattered at his invites and despite the fact he wasn't particularly sociable, he decided to turn up anyway, as a thank you.

"Happy Birthday" he smiled shyly at the younger girl. "Umm.. These are for you" he held out the small box towards her.

He looked up at the decorations, very impressed by the design but it left him wondering how long it had taken her to set this thing up, although with magic it probably took a lot less time and a considerable amount less effort. "Looks good" he glanced back at the girl. "Ain't no one else here yet?" Like Tom or Kat preferably. You know? People he actually knew.

Oakey had remembered this day from two years ago. He came all the way up to the 7th floor out of total guess work and hoped that he was right. Walking paste the Tapestry three times thinking to himself Renesmee's Birthday Party Then then the door appeared. He opened it and with total awe on his face he took in the surroundings. He looked and saw Renesmee standing not to far from the entrance. Hey, hey! Renesmee! He yelled across to her. Long time no see! Happy Birthday!

Zayden, wearing the outfit that Amelia had helped pick out for him and his blue/pink sunglasses resting on his head, walked into the room where Nessie's birthday party was being held; he was carrying a bouquet of daphadilles in one hand and, in the other, he was holding Amelia's hand. "This will be a nice getaway from studying, beautiful," said the Slytherin to his girlfriend. "... oh Merlin."

CUPCAKES! There was cupcakes!

He had to restrain himself from heading straight to the snack table because a talk with Nessie was needed before he stuffed his mouth with food. "Birthday girl!" He called out to the ginger from here he was. "Happy birthday!" He started over to where she was now. "I heard that you didn't want any presents, but I couldn't come empty handed to a birthday party! So here," he offered the flowers. "I don't know if you like daphadilles; however, it's the thought that counts." So yeah...

Amelia was excited right now, because it was her good friend's birthday party! YAY! This was so awesome. :33

She grinned as she held Zayden's hand and made sure that he stayed clear from the cupcakes until they talked to Nessie.

"BIRTHDAY GIRL!!"she now called out as she spotted her friend looking very pretty. "I know you didn't want gifts,but I got you a small one." She gave her friend a hug now.

Nate was walking along the corridor and was trying to find a place to practice his spells. He walked along a wall thinking about that and heard what sounded like a metal door opening. He looked back at the wall and saw a door. He opened it and saw it was the room of requirement. He couldn't believe he found the room of requirement. He opened the door and saw two hufflepuffs already inside. One was Oakey the other he never met. "Hi Oakey. Hi. I'm Nate what's your name?" Nate said to the other person in the room. "I was walking along searching for a place to practice my spell, and I stumbled upon this place. How did you find it Oakey?"

Oakey starred at Nate with a puzzled look? Nate I don't think you'll be practicing any spells at a party. He told the younger Huffie.

Had the First Year unintentionally crashed Renesmee's 14th Birthday Party, Oakey held back a laugh but couldn't help but smile. Nate this is Renesmee, it's her Birthday today He introduced him to Renesmee.

"Oh ok sorry. Looks like I'll be coming back another time to practice. Sorry if I accidently crashed the party. I'll just be leaving." After Nate said that he headed out the door.

Okay...So Nate wasn't going to stay? Oakey blinked a few times to see if his eyes weren't deceiving him as he saw Nate just leave during a party...a party! Because he wanted to practice spells.

That just made his introductions to Renesmee look awkward. Oakey shrugged his shoulders and turned his attention back to Renesmee.

After placing one more place of cupcakes on the food table, Nessie turned around as she had heard footsteps coming. A small smile had lit up on her face, the first guest had finally arrived. Good! He was wearing some sort of purple. It was Bradley the new student that she had met through her best friend Tom and his sister Kat. She was glad that she had invited him, because he really did seem like a nice chap and she wanted to get to know him better.

"Err.. thank you!" She said with a bit of hesitation as she noticed he was holding a box. She bit her lip a little nervously, hoping it wasn't what she thought it was. She had told everyone a hundred times that she didn't want any presents whatsoever, but they didn't listen...it was a present. /: She eyed the box trying to figure out what to do, without having to be rude. "Er...erm..I..I..saidnopresents." She mumbled, feeling just a little rude. She looked at the box again,the chocolates did look rather delicious though and being the chocoholic she was, Ness took the gift from Bradley. "Anyway um.. Thank you!" She said making sure he knew she appreciated it. She then placed the chocolates in the bag she had used for the food. She'd decided to use that for any other presents she would have to accept.

The place did look good didn't it? The smile from before came back onto Renemee's face. "Thanks, this room is quite a unique and magical room I guess." She was talking about the Room of Requirement now. It had to be her favorite room in the whole of Hogwarts, it was just unbelievable what this room could do. She looked around once more to see that she hadn't missed anyone. "Nope, no one's here yet, but I'm sure they'll be arriving soon." This was getting just a tiny bit awkward which was why Nessie was very grateful to see that Oakey had arrived.


As Nessie heard her full name being called she turned around to see Oakey. He was one of the only people that used her full name. And she sort of liked that. "Oakey!!" She said with a wide grin and gave her best friend a long hug.

"Yeah.. Its been forever." Ness pulled back remembering that Bradley was still there, and he must have been finding it awkward. "Thank you." She replied to Oakey, and she noticed that he had no present..which was good because she didn't want any.

Now there was someone else there too. It was a little firstie, or so it seemed and he must have accidentally come to the party, but Nessie didn't mind the more the merrier right? She gave the firstie a small little grin as Oakey did the introductions, and before Nessie could tell the boy to stay he had left? Okay? Nothing wrong with that either.

She looked at Bradley and then at Oakey. She ought to introduce them right? But before she could, she heard someone shout to her again. This time it was Zayden and Mia. "Um..I'll see you two later." She excused herself and then walked nearer to Zayden and Mia.

Zayden and Mia were so cute together, and Nessie watched them with a sweet smile as they walked in together holding hands. She could tell they'd get married to each other one day, they were so, so perfect. Ness once again bit her lip as she saw Zayden had yellow sort of flowers in he's hand. Those weren't for her..they had to be for Mia, because as she said before No presents.

Birthday girl? "I think that's me, Thanks" she gave a little giggle. She then eyed the flowers he offered her and sort of sighed. "Um..um..I don't want anypresents." She mumbled again. Although she had to Admit that the flowers were really beautiful, and maybe just maybe it wouldn't have hurt to accept them and she also didn't want to hurt Mia's and Zaydens feelings. "Thanks I guess though." She said taking the flowers with a small grin. "They really are beautiful."

A hug? That was the sweetest present ever. Ness would easily accept that because it didn't involve any money at all. Nessie hugged Mia tightly and then pulled back with a grin. "Thank you, for coming." she said politely. Ness honestly hadn't accepted anyone to come at all, but she was obviously wrong..some people did care about her after all.

Ellie was finally there! It only took her ten years to get the password right. Oh well. As she walked in Ellie saw Nessie right away."Hey, birthday girl!" Ellie exclaimed excitedly, giving Nessie a hug. When she pulled away, she handed the birthday girl a purple gift bag with a cute pair of purple earrings inside. "I know you said no presents, but... I couldn't resist. I hope you like it." Ellie smiled. She just liked giving people presents. And Nessie deserved something special.

Just then, Ellie spotted Mia and Zayden out of the corner of her eye, so she went over to where they were standing. She didn't know anyone else there, so... Yep. "Hey, guys." :3

Adam had finally gotten into the place, after struggling with the password about a good 15 times. Honestly, why'd Nessie have to make it difficult on them. He walked into the room an looked around, his eyebrows nearly kissing the top of his forehead. This was all a bit extravvegant an new. Adam would've never imagined Nessie to go full on out with this party. Slowly he made his way through the crowd an found Nessie. "Hey, Happy Birthday! Sister!" He said almost screaming in her ear. Was that the right word to use?

"You're gonna hate me for this, but I got you this present." He smiled at Nessie. She wouldn't kill him for it, right?

Kurumi hadn't been able to remove all of the brown sugar scent out of her hair, but at least she had been able to put herself together and had arrived at the Room of Requirement with relative ease. Unfortunately, she hadn't been able to convince Jonathan to come with her this time. Not even the love of dressing up and looking his best was enough to have the Slytherin look past a few things that ended up preventing him from attending Nessie's party.

With a box tucked under her left arm, Kurumi toyed with her necklace with the right and saw that there were already a lot of people here. She blamed Jonathan for making her late. Hehe.

"Nessie, hey," Kurumi smiled as she approached the girl, still toying with her necklace. "Now, I know you said no gifts, but you know I never pass up the chance to bake." And she handed Nessie the box containing a small layered cake with butter cream froasting.

Kurumi looked around at everyone else present, smiling to each of them...even in Adam's direction.

João grinned upon seeing her look. So he could rightly deduce that he had got her room right. Trust to magic to affect girls. Hehe.

He bowed back to her with a charming smile of his own. "It is my pleasure to be here, Lady Evelyn." Then, taking a few more steps inside, he said "I bet this is the first time you see such a room at a school." Referring to her previous schools, that is.

Lady Evelyn? Evelyn grinned and turned around to look at him again. "You know, you should call me Lady Evelyn from now on." She walked towards a couch near the fireplace and sat down. "Do you want to join me, Marcy?" Evelyn asked, totally oblivious to the fact that she just called him Marcy. She nodded towards the couch on the opposite side.

"Oh, yeah. This is definitely a first." Evelyn looked around the room again. Wow. She's definitely going to be more often from now on.

Alyssa walked into the Room of Requirement where Nessie had organized her birthday party. There were a few people there already. She had heard that the theme was purple, so she had worn a purple dress. Even though Nessie had told her that she didn't want gifts, Alyssa had brought a small present wrapped in gold wrapping paper. She hoped that Nessie would like it.

She saw Nessie talking with Oakey, so she walked up to her best friend and birthday girl, Alyssa reached over to hug her. "Happy Birthday, Nessie. May all your wishes come true. I LOVE your dress and this place is amazing.

Okay, I know you said that you didn't want any gifts but I decided that I'd give you one anyway. I hope that you like it." Alyssa handed over the gift to her. "Don't open it until later, okay,"Alyssa whispered into her ear.

Then Alyssa turned to Oakey. "Oh hi..Oakey. You made it to her party too. That's cool. I hope that more of her friends show up."

More and more people had started arriving, which was definitely a good sign. Nessie grinned as she saw, Ellie Smelly, she sort of expected Dallin, Ellie's boyfriend to be there, but he wasn't, which Nessie didn't mind. She just now knew that she'd have to keep a close eye on Ellie and Adam now, because there was something weird going on between them, and Ness knew it wouldn't end too good for Adam which was why she wanted try protect him. "Ellie Sme..." she stopped herself middway, not wanting to anger her. She then wrapped her arms around Ellie and gave her a quick hug back.

Great..another presen't. Ness really had no option anymore. She decided she'd find a way to pay all these people back later, because it did make her feel really bad getting all these presents that she felt she didn't deserve. Smiling a little bit, Nessie took the purple gift bag from Ellie. She started to wonder what might have been inside it, but she'd open it later. "Thanks..I appreciate it." she said still feeling a little guilt of getting so many presents.


Once Ellie had gone off to talk to Mia and Zayden, Ness heard a very familiar voice wish her Happy Birthday, but it was the last word 'sister' that had made her immediately realize who it was.

"ADAM!!!" Nessie was maybe just a little over excited to see him, she wrapped her arms around him in a big hug. It was so good to see him. Her big brother! She wanted to stay with him for most of the party, because she had to admit that he was most probably her best friend at Hogwarts. He may have been a jerk at times and he may have done things that she didn't approve of, but he was always there and he always knew what to say. She really did love him, as a brother of course.

Him too? Inside she was screaming throwing a hissy fit about, how everyone had brought her presents...but nobody needed to know that, which was why she pretended to be all okay with it. "Its gorgeous." It honestly was, and it was purple too. "Mind putting it on for me?" she asked extending out her hand for him. Looking at the purple bracelet, Nessie looked back at Adam and noticed he wasn't wearing any purple. "Um...why aren't you wearing any purple?" she mumbled to him.

There was another person, Nessie had really been looking forward to seeing. It was Kurumi, which looked absolutely beautiful in her purple dress. "Kurumi!, Your dress is so pretty." she couldn't help but make some sort a compliment. She looked at the box Kurumi was holding, and almost for certain knew what was inside, because knowing Kurumi there would be only one thing she would have brought with, which was something to do with baking.

Taking the box from Kurumi, Ness grinned. "You really didn't have to, but thanks I guess." She gave Kurumi a one arm hug as her other hand was holding the box. She wanted to see what was inside and once she had pulled back from the hug she couldn't resist but to ask Kurumi for permission to open it. "Mind if I look?" she said with gesturing to the box.

Lyssie was here too now, Nessie gave her fellow Badger a huge smile and then gave her a hug. "Thank you so much Lyssie." she giggled just a bit at all the attention she was getting. She really liked the attention, but she didn't think it made her an attention seeker, everyone was allowed to have some sort of attention right?

"Everyone's giving me gifts." she whispered to herself, trying not to have a fit. Its not that she hated the presents, she just didn't feel she deserved any of them. She gave Lyssie a small nod. "Thank you, and um.. yeah sure, I'll open it later."She then accepted the gold box and then placed it with her other presents.

All of a sudden, Nessie heard the music go louder, it was really loud now, but she liked it that way, it helped her feel the music more, and in a way it made her want to dance. Biting her lip, Nessie stood around for a bit, she hadn't danced in such a long time and she wasn't sure she was ready to again, but she might have had no choice tonight as everyone else would most probably dance.

She'd give it a try, but only once. If that didn't work, she'd never dance again.

Amelia was glad that Nessie had liked her hug, because she knew that it was one gift that she would accept without complaining. As it was free. And came with love. :33 "I also made a card for you," she said as she stopped hugging the girl. It was in her purse kept nice and safe, and she was really hoping that Nessie would accept it and like it.

And now EllieJelly was joining them, and Mia gave her a hug too, because she was happy to see her friend and was also in a hugging mood today. "Hey, you!" hehe

Alec blinked at the blank stretch of wall in front of him. According to Ness, this should be it. He looked down at the small piece of parchment that was lying on top of the purple box in his hands. According to the scrawl that was Ness' handwriting, he had to walk past the blank stretch of wall three times with the idea of her party in his head.

This was by far the oddest thing he's had to do so far.

Alec scrunched up the parchment and put it in his pocket. He turned to face his side and started walking... back and forth three times. Ness' party... Ness' party... Ness' party...

The twelve year old gulped as he opened an eye. He was expecting some sort of pop or a sound that suggested that a door was there. A magical, purple door. Because Miss Ness likes the colour purple. But there was a door there and that's all that mattered right now. The boy walked forward, twisted the handle and walked into the-

WOAH!

Talk about purple! This room was... magical! Everything seemed to be so purple! It looked pretty. Perfect for Miss Ness. She would love this! Alec was glad to be here now. Except, maybe not the dance floor. It looked pretty but making a fool of yourself in front of all these people wasn't his style.

Speaking of people, there seemed to be a LOT of people here! And all of them seemed to be a lot older than him. Anya needed to hurry up and get here! Then he wouldn't feel so left-

OH LOOK! There was Ness. And Lyss! Now he had people to talk to! Alec straightened up his tie and walked over towards Ness, the purple box gripped tightly in his hands. She would like this, wouldn't she?

"Hey, Ness!" he said, once she was free, "Erm, happy birthday! I 'forgot' you didn't want anything..." Here he glanced at Lyss before looking back at Ness. "so i ended up getting you something." Alec held out the purple box towards Ness and smiled his cute little smile.
