"I didn't mean to ever let you know it could get this bad. I mean, it's rare that it does... Normally it just gets to the extent that it did in Flourish and Blotts these days," Amelia muttered as she went from gripping him tightly to playing absently with his coat. She was happy that he wasn't forcing her to look at him because it gave her a bit of time to get herself more under control, but once she felt like she was fine she raised her head a little and gave Isaac a tentative smile. She really, really hoped that he wasn't put off by her panic attack. |

"Is there something I should haf done instead?" he asked quietly. He had no idea what he should or shouldn't do during a panic attack and had just taken a guess. "I'm proud of ye." he added because he was. She hadn't had to stay she could have run, and maybe making it worse, but she'd stayed and allowed him to help. |

"But really it isn't that bad most of the time and I've learnt how to get through them. It's just that even knowing that I don't really have anything to worry about it's hard to get myself to co-operate sometimes," which was true, and she hoped that it would help him not be frightened. Because as much as he was calm about everything and being encouraging and everything she knew how frightened other people had been when she'd had even mild attacks and was sure that Isaac wouldn't have been as calm about things as he seemed. "By the way... I hoped you'd have enough courage to ask me out too," Amelia informed him, with a coy smile. Because otherwise she would have asked him out, and that wasn't something she really did. |
It was probably the first time Louisa walked into the kitchen this term. And when she did, she was holding the giant book of Astronomy that was supposed to help her workout this sundial homework. However, her mind was drifting away from the book after exactly three seconds of trying to read. And it was a first for Louisa Mary Carter. The reason is, naturally, her falling relationship. Perching up on one of the tables, the girl set the book open next to her and set the large ice cream container on her lap. This was the time where her frustration came out as eating instead of biting fingernails. She was sinking into the abyss of teenagers. Somebody kill her. |
Lea was hungry again. Yes, she was. But it was no ordinary hunger; she was hungry for strawberries and milk. That had been the awesome combination her brother used to give her when she wanted something delish to enjoy so she supposed the house elves in Hogwarts would have those too. If they did not...well...they could consider themselves unlucky for they would be forced to suffer the wrath of Lea Raina Carter. Once she was in, her big dark brown eyes searched for the house elves until they landed on an...older girl. Smirking, the little lioness grabbed what looked like a banana from the nearest counter and threw it at the girl before laughing out loudly. BWAHAHAHA.... ''Hey you!'' |
Her hand holding the spoon that was making its peaceful way to her mouth was suddenly hit and throws backward. The spoon, loaded with vanilla awesome ice cream, flew and landed on the floor. All that happened in a matter of a second... except the spoon falling to the floor, Louisa saw it in slow motion because she was on the verge of tears for losing her precious bite. "Wh- ho-" Her eyes turned to look at the... "You?!! You did that?!" She set the ice cream to the side and hopped down, scowling down at the she-dwarf, "Why in Merlin's name would you shoot a banana at me!?" GRRR... this was not the time for antics. SHE WAS SINKING IN THAT ABYSS FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE. "Get the spoon and clean it," Louisa stated firmly, she was bigger and should be the scarier, "Also. Apologize." Crossing her arms, she waited as her eyes held the girl's. |
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.... That was so funny!!! Ignoring the girl's looks, the young Gryffindor laughed at what had happened for a minute or so, kicking her feet on the floor. The expression on the older girl's face was so funny too. ''Yes, i did it.'' she replied with a quick nod and a careless grin. ''Because i wanted to'' She did not need any other reason. She was Lea Carter and Lea Carter was a queen. She did whatever she wanted. As the girl kept talking to her, or more like giving order to her which Lea did not like, the little girl eyed her a bit. She was holding a thick book. Hmmmm. ''Haha...you must be a Ravenclaw. No other geek would come to a kitchen with a book like that'' Yes yes. She totally ignored the orders that the Ravenclaw voiced out for she was not going to do them. |
Louisa's blood BOILED inside her head as the girl was grinning and laughing maniacly at her. GRRRR. She wanted to squash the little girl and take all her anger out at her! But she didn't. Because she had way too many points taken from her already and she'd been into detention once, no need to stain her record further. "You're a vicious little weasel," her mouth nervously twitched into a strained smile, "And yes, I am a geek Ravenclaw. You must be a Gryffindork." Two can play this game, "Making a grande entrance and all." Turning away from the girl, she perched back up on the table. "Now, give me my spoon and apologize before I stick your tongue to the top of your mouth." STARE. "I am a geek, I know a lot of torture spells." That should be scary, that is the scariest thing Louisa had ever said to a younger person. She didn't even flinch! The little weasel should be terrified... please? |
Was the Ravenclaw getting angry at her? Pfffft... Lea could not care less so still grinning she started to look around for strawberries. Where were they? But then the angry older girl was still talking. Vicious little weasel? ''How dare you talk to me; Lea Carter, your queen, like that. Now i have to punish you, Ravenclaw geek.'' And of course the first year already had many creative ideas of punishing disobedient people ready in her mind. Poor pooor Ravie. But before she could punish her, apparently this girl needed to know who she was for she dared to threaten her. ''I thought Ravenclaws were smart. If you knew that i am a Gryffindor, you shuld have known that your threatening has no effect on me. Moreover...'' She smirked and took a step closer to her. ''...my brother told me that your kind is all talk and no act.'' |
Errr... was the girl serious? Queen? Talk about spoiled delusinal young generation. BUT waaaaiiit a minute. O__O Louisa's eyebrows were raised in surprise, her fury was fading away gradually for there was a new interest in the girl now. "Your last name's Carter?" She gave a crooked smile, "I am a Carter, too." Which wasn't very impressive to anyone but Louisa. "Louisa Carter." Aaaand whyyyy was the girl stepping closer? GULP. Louisa didn't flinch, though. She kept looking back at this Lea person and listened. The defiant attitude of the girl was stunning. Seriously. Louisa never met anyone as bald and rude. Kudos for whoever attempted to raise this child, apparently they lost a limb or two in the process. "Please don't tell me you're Joshua Carter's sister." It was Louisa's turn to laugh at that, and she did. Very loudly, too. Really if she was, then that banana shot was very justified. Hehe. |

She dipped her spoon back into her ice cream and gave it a twirl. "They're at the end of the semester, like all final exept the ministry holds this. Too close for my liking." She pulled her spoon out. "And don't worry. Treyen helps me, and I have the professors." What else were they good for? |

Well trained? It obviously wasn't since it tried to EAT Selena's hand. "Y'know, I think that means he's a bit of a beast, maybe Clarke will find owl tasty," Selena said, stroking the cruppy's fur. "Any idea where the caaaakkkkkeeeeee is?" Selena asked, looking around. She wanted cake. Not annoying Gryffie. |

"If you even lay one of your freakishly small fingers on my owl, I will squeeze your pygmy puff until its eyes implode," she said calmly, glancing around for cake. Alice finally spotted the last slice from dinner on a spotless tray. Before the Prefect could lunge for it, the second year yanked the tray closer to her, picked it up, and held it to her owl's beak. Domino squawked at the treat and started to nibble on the corner of the girl's shirt. Guessing that her owl didn't want the dessert, she decided to eat the thing instead of giving it to the annoying girl. Alice; 1. Whiny Prefect; -30,053. |

Nodding as she went on some more he understood that "Sometimes yer imagination takes over more then what ye know is true?" he asked. He knew that imagination can definitely be more frightening then what's actually happening. Or what could happen goes through your head when it's not happening and can cause fright as well. He'd not heard of anyone being frightened to death. But if they were having a panic attack he could see how one might considering it made it harder to breathe, and lack of oxygen could be very VERY bad. A smile appeared when she admitted and gave him a coy smile. He'd always wondered what had made her so irritated back in the courtyard at the Leaky but never asked, he'd have to ask her one of these times that was for sure. He didn't want to ask what set her panic attack to happen tonight but had a good idea what had caused it, though he wasn't positive. "Me thinks the best decision I ever made was te go into the book store last summer. And the second best thing was te ask ye out." |
Pem had managed to miss dinner in the Great Hall for the second time that week. With her book in tow she entered the kitchens in search for something that could at least hold her over until breakfast in the morning. Seeing a small table off to the side, Pem wandered over to it and sat down as she looked around the kitchens. It had been the first time she had ever been in the room though she had walked passed it for several weeks now. When a house elf came to her she requested a plate of whatever was on the table that evening before she turned to her book and picked up where she had previously left off earlier that day at lunch. |

She stood near the entrance and looked around. Oh, no. It was that girl again. Louisa. A look of annoyance crossed her face before she walked in the opposite direction. She just hoped that Louisa didn't see her at all. Evelyn took a seat opposite a younger looking girl. "Hey." Evelyn gave the girl a warm smile. |

Introduce yourself Pem. She thought, maybe then she'd make a friend for a change instead of saying just enough to get people to leave her alone. "I'm Pemberly." She said lightly, "From Hufflepuff." She added on with a small proud smile. |
Quote:
Evelyn extended her hand. "I'm Evelyn. Nice to meet you Pemberly." She gave a bright smile. It was always nice to meet new people. It was one of the most exciting things about joining a new school. "Oh. I'm a Hufflepuff as well." |
Quote:
"I like the name Evelyn." Pem told her. She had only ever met one other Evelyn before. The fact that this Evelyn was also a Hufflepuff like Pem was, made her feel even better. "What year are you?" She asked. |
Quote:
"Thank you. I like your name as well." Evelyn smiled. "I've never really heard of the name Pemberly before.." When Pemberly asked what year she was in, Evelyn said, "Sixth. You?" |
Never heard of someone dying from fright huh? Quote:
"Sometimes. It's a bit like when you've watched something scary and then go to bed and think you see things in the shadows and don't feel safe until you've turned on a light, even though rationally you know that there's nothing there and it's all in your mind. Only there is no light, nothing to banish the dark and the fear. At least not until you can calm down enough to take things in," or pass out from lack of oxygen, but she figured it would be best not to mention that to Isaac. And she wasn't sure why she was equating a panic attack to a fear that some imaginary monster or something from a movie was hiding in your room, maybe because it was something irrational? Or maybe she was more tired than she thought. "Well then mine would have had to have been going down the isle you were in to have my mini-break down because I thought you'd be too absorbed in the books to notice me," Amelia replied, smiling softly at the thought. To think that she'd been hoping for him not to notice her when he was now one of the most important, if not the most important, person in her life. "And also I think kissing me on the train was a pretty good idea of yours too," because that was a moment that shouldn't be relegated as unimportant compared to them meeting and him asking her out. Especially since he kissed her days before he did so. Amelia was content right now, and she was hopeful that they would stay this way for a long time. |

There's still ice cream in his mouth so he just nodded his head. "I see." So was that mean he also has final exams at the end of the semester? Ugh! He hate exams. "Do you have any plans about what will you do after Hogwarts, Arya?" he asked after he made sure that he already swallowed the ice cream in his mouth. Speaking of Treyen, he rarely saw him around. The last time Messer saw him was at the Mummy Badger's office. |

"Yeah, well my mom got creative." She laughed. "I think my grandma had something to do with it. They're all a bit crazy when it comes to naming kids it seems. My cousins are owners of unique names." Pem rambled, something she hardly ever did. Maybe it was because she missed home, talking about her mom and grandmother made her realize how much she missed their overbearing characteristics. "Third year." Pem ended. |
xD couldn't resist lol Quote:
Listening as she explained kind of what it felt like. "So letting your imagination take over extremely so." he said with a nod. Wow, he'd not thought of it that way, but he could see how it could be terrifying after a bit of letting an imagination get away from them. Biting his lip he thought a minute before finally asking "Do ye mind telling me what it was thet frightened ye?" It would help him remember not to bring up something that might set off another panic attack. "If it's te bad don' answer thet." he added quickly because he didn't want to set one off right then either! Smiling softly at what her best decision was. "I couldn't be te engrossed in the books te not see a pretty girl there thet was having a problem." he said softly. Well even if they weren't pretty he wouldn't ignore something like that. But the girl he'd seen was very pretty, beautiful even, and he was glad to have gotten to know her. Relaxing he sat back comfortably in the chair. He was about to reach for his mug when he realized they were both gone off the arm. Oh no! He hoped they'd not spilled looking to his other side he found a small table now there with two steaming mugs. Laughing gently he reached with his other hand to lift a mug and take a drink. |
Quote:
"Oh?" Evelyn smiled. "Well, that's great..isn't it? To have an unique name?" At least, that's what she felt. Evelyn liked her name..it was a little common, yes but yeah..she was fine with it. |
