"Hi Adam!" Tayla greeted the older boy. This event was to get to know fellow Lions, so that's exactly what she wanted to do. "I'm Tayla. I think we met during Capture the Flags. Thanks for inviting us here! The treats you guys prepared are really good."

When he asked if she wanted fudge she pouted and took it from his hand, "Yes. Thank you." Little bugger knew that Selina's weakness was her stomach. Now she could not nearly keep an angry face at him. Oh who was she kidding? Of course she could.

"Adam...I come from the country that invented Pikachu," she said, crossing her arms a bit and arching an eyebrow. She could be all pika pika if she wanted to. She laughed at his attempt though. Boys just couldn't do the voice properly, which made sense since Pikachu's voice actress was a woman.

Cookie Boss. Perhaps that was another nickname that could get picked up. She wouldn't mention it for now though. Cookie Girl seemed to be more common anyway.

"Everyone finishing up their hats?" Kurumi asked, looking around the table. Maybe just a few more minutes before moving on to the first activity.

"Hey Arabella!" Selina waved in the girl's direction and then said, "And make sure you eat. I can't eat all of this by myself..." that was a lie.



Selina nodded proudly. She was glad that people assumed that she had helped Kurumi in the whole process. Sure she had just pitched in ideas and did baking... to the best of her ability, but Kurumi usually did this kind of thing by herself so she was glad that Ira noticed. "Hey Ira! And yeah we did. And thank you so much!"



Selina had to bite her tongue when Adam spoke. The two had not left the previous year on fantastic terms and honestly the fellow redhead made her want to punch the wall. She knew that he and Kurumi had made up and were all chummy now but Selina did not trust him as far as she could throw him. So when he complimented her hat she swallowed and said, "It should be... its my hat."

And he continued to talk further about how he was happy to have worked with her and Kurumi... blah blah blah. She smiled at their fellow house mates, but stayed silent. Otherwise she would have screamed.



When Gideon approached Selina smiked at him and looked at the hat. Last time she had seen that hat her father was on Gideon's front steps. First impressions were interesting things for sure. So the hat made her smirk more poignant. To stop a giggle she bit down on her bottom lip and said, "I, erm, like the hat, Gid. Really suits you."

Then when he assumed that most of the baked goods were Kurumi's doing she poked his side and said, "Hey there, I helped."



"Hey Tayla! And you can eat now if you want. I like the hat by the way." Selina added.



"Thanks Ari." Selina grinned, "We did work really hard on it."



Selina smiled at Kacie and waved at the younger girl, "Hey Kacie. And yeah you can eat as much as you want. Although between you and me we may not leave anything for everyone else." Then she watched the girl poke fun at Gideon and Selina covered her mouth to muffle her giggles, "I am assuming I have you to thank Kacie for that hat being in his trunk?"

Kurumi simply GAWKED at the mass on top of Selina's head. Combined with the girl's read hair, Selina really was a sight. "You look...nice," Kurumi said with a slightly forced smile. She didn't look bad, just odd. Nothing wrong with that.

"I had some help," she replied with a wink. Once Selina had gotten past eating everything and Adam had stopped breaking egg shells into the bowls they had been just fine. "There is glitter next to the plain hats at the end of the table. I think we have some in every color."

"Hey, glad you could be here," Kurumi smiled as another lion came to the table. "Just put on a hat and enjoy yourself for now. Some small events will begin shortly."


"Adam helped too," Kurumi nodded with the slightest hint of something not so happy in her tone. It was true though. They were her recipes for the most part, but executing all this on her own would have been impossible. "Eat as much as you want, and don't forget to try our Gryffindor tea!"

Kurumi reached up and touched the rays of her sun hat. "Why thank you. Gryffindor is associated with the fire element, so I thought it was rather fitting."

Kurumi tried not to roll her eyes TOO much at Adam's terrible joke and decided to keep quiet. The fire was what was keeping them warm anyway, not her hat. So there. She DID stick her tongue out at him though to taunt him back.

And then he put his hat on and she started laughing. "Technically, with that hat on your head you should only be allowed to speak in a high pitched squeaky voice." How about them apples, Adam Burn?


Oh! A feather! Kurumi was tempted to bat at it, but refrained and instead looked back at Selina. "Hehe, you are both in blueish hats," she said, pointing at the two of them and bouncing a bit. They were maaaaaaaaaaatching.

"Thank you for coming," Kurumi chirped in response before jumping back a bit when Tayla put her hat on. "Wow...that is certainly a unique looking hat! I bet Professor Williamson will like it, or even Mr. Henry."

"Glad you could be here," Kurumi smiled at the younger girl. "You look very nice in your hat." Kurumi was really loving all the creativity and boldness her lions were showing. This was exactly what she had been hoping for. A way to just kick back and let out their inner Gryffindors. Just like their hats were unique, so were each of them.

"Just hold up a plate and say 'cake please'," Kurumi instructed. "The cake knife will serve you."


"Be sure to thank Selina and Adam too. I couldn't have done it without them," she smiled at the younger lion.

Kurumi's eyes widened at the excitement of this particular Gryffindor, but her smile widened as well. "As much as you want," she nodded. That was why all this food was here, to eat. It would be a shame if it all went to waste. Kurumi giggled a bit wen she showed her two hats and explained that she had socks to go with them. "They are all fantastic. I think you should wear that lion one to some of the Quidditch matches as well. I'll wear this one if you do."

See, Selina. Kurumi WAS going to watch matches.


"They are my recipes, but I had help with the execution," Kurumi winked, nodding her head in the direction of Selina and Adam.

But Adam had been held captive as a prisoner for a while an during the time he had been annoyed for not being rescued, maybe she had said hi but he ignored her?

But invite isn't the right word, you are part of the Gryffindor family, you don't need to be invited you just walk right on in. THANK YOU." He said gratefully, his two hands clapped together.
