Violet was about to go for the next greatest thing on her list, but before she could she suddenly heard the voice of someone suddenly speak to her. She actually was caught a little off guard by the random voice and almost stumbled backwards, but then relaxed when violet eyes met electric blue. Violet immediately relaxed and smiled saying brightly,"Hello Chris! I'm just-just-" she then realized all of the candy that was in her hand and slowly, but awkwardly, moved it behind her back hiding it from Chris' sight. "I'm doing just wonderful, how are you Chris?" She gave his hand a light squeeze as they continued to be linked together. "Buying sweets?"

*Feeling the arms go around him Matty smiled but soon sighed and rubbed his chin as he looked at the candy.*
"Sort of... I'm waiting for my amazing girl friend but she seems to be late. I really miss her. I haven't seen her in... 16 hours."
*Turning around he wrapped his arms around Marie and smiled warmly down at her before leaning down and giving her a soft kiss.*
"Hello angel... sleep okay?"

"I'd like to head back to the castle... if that's okay with you? Maybe we could hang out together in the common room, catch a snuggle?" Jayden asked, blushing.

Cael laughed a bit to cover his blush. "Castle? Sure. Let's go to the common room."

A snuggle. That sounded nice...

Ryan was in big need of Candy.He headed over to the candy section and grabbed some Bertie Bott's Every Flavoured Beans,Chocolate Frogs and some Sugar Quills.He thought that was enough so he headed to the counter and paid.

Aww, he thought she was amazing. "She misses you too." And here she thought she was the only one that counted the hours they were apart from each other.

Kissing him back when he turned around she felt like her day was complete now. "I always sleep good when I have you in my dreams. How was your night?"

As Violet attempted to hide the candy behind her back, Christopher doubled over in laughter. It seemed she'd picked up his awkward traits after spending so much time together over the summer. It must have been contagious.

"Nice try," he said, throwing a smirk her way. At her question, however, his face grew softer, though part of the smirk remained. With a shrug, he replied, "Well, now that I can actually afford it, I think I might. Before this year I'd only had it a few times, and that was usually just when someone was nice enough to share. And I mean, it's so good!" His wide grin returned and he focused the attention back onto her. Peering over her shoulder, he mentioned with a chuckle,"I can see that you are too. And you're sneaky about it!" Hoping she cought the sarcastic remark (as he wasn't very good at sarcasm a majority of the time), he winked and turned back to the shelf.

"Since chocolate and other sugary delicacies seem to be your expertise, what do you suggest I try? After all, it is early and there are plenty of things to try."

Faina grinned, pulling Nate in the shop. "Fudge!" Faina shouted, racing over to the display case.

It was either let go of Fai or lose an arm at this point, so Nate chose the prior. He followed Faina towards the counter, jangling his money. "So, see anything that interests you?" he asked, knowing how dumb his question really was.

Faina grinned and wrapped her arms around his waist, "Only you, babe," She kissed his cheek. "But that fudge does look kind of tempting," she teased.

Nate simply enjoyed having Faina around him. "Well, the fudge is only a galleon a pound..." he said, almost as if he were tempting her to ask for some.

Faina pulled a galleon out of her pocket. "I'll buy you some if you buy me some, it will be like a swap." She smirked. She didn't want to ask too much, so she settled for that.

"That sounds fair," Nate said, pulling two galleons out of his pocket, 'borrowing' Faina's, and buying three pounds of Fudge. "This is a lot more than I had expected..." he said, returning from the counter with a decent sized box of fudge in his arms. "We can share it all," he said, smiling at Faina.

"It's a little on the small size, but it should do," Faina winked. "Where should we go to eat it?"

"I really don't care. Just.... with you, I'd prefer. If that's at all possible," he said, smiling at Fai. "You know, you're really amazing," he whispered.

Faina blushed and turned her head down to hide it. "I think you are, too." She whispered back.

"Think?" Nate said with mock skepticism. "I know you are," he said, taking her hand. "Come on, let's go back to the castle. Perhaps we could find a nook or a cranny to enjoy our fudge," he suggested as he walked Fai out of the shop.

*Matty sighed and shrugged. He had not had a very good night. But that was part of being a Hufflepuff, it is the party house.*
"Boys in 5th year started up a party around 11 and went all night. No one slept including me... Might sleep in the room of requirement tonight."

Elliot wandered around still, trying to find anything her dear father would like. She leaned against a shelf, biting her lip nervously and looking thoroughly distressed. She had gotten a huge slab of fudge for Danni, a ton of stringmints for Sam, and for her mother she gotten coconut ice. Ugh. Now she simply had to find something for him...she glanced around for a worker, to get some insight. This was very serious business, after all.

What?

A all night party? "Your head of house lets you guys party all night?" There was no way Lafay would ever let them party all night. Heck, she never let them party during the day. "We can go back to school if you want." She didn't really have anything she needed to shop for. She would just be happy spending time with him. Even if it was just in the room of requirement relaxing.

"She's never stopped it." *Matty said with a shrug. Smiling down at her he knew how much she wanted to get out of the castle but she would go with him and let him nap. It showed how much they cared for each other.*
"No... lets stay here. I'll sleep when I'm dead."
*His comment would have been more convincing if he hadn't started yawning at the tail end of the sentence.*

"Well you guys are lucky. Nothing exciting ever happens in our common room." Standing on her toes she kissed the tip of his nose. "We can come back tomorrow. Today you need to get some sleep." Grabbing his hand she laced their fingers together. "Come on, lets get you back to the castle before you fall asleep standing here."

Yeah, she didn't miss him yawning, even if he was trying to hide it from her.

*Matty did not want to sleep. He wanted to spend time with Marie. It had been ages since they got to spend time together.*
"How about... we sit in the room of requirement and talk? That way I'll be resting and we can spend time together?"

Violet blushed a little bit when it didn't take Chris long at all to figure out what she trying to hide from his sight. She then shrugged saying,"I thought it was worth a shot..." She giggled lightly as Chris commented about sweets being so good and she said excitedly,"I know! It's just so satisfying!" When he asked her what she thought he should try Violet's eyes lit up and gasped saying eagerly,"Everything! But I definitely recommend that you try the Cherry-Center Truffles! Oh oh oh! And the Sugar Quills! Chris the Sugar Quills are the best!" Then she took a moment and calmed down a little saying,"Sorry...You should see Sely...She's just as bad.." Violet giggled lightly at the thought of how her best friend acts at Honeydukes.

Christopher shook his head and began to chuckle as the little blonde began going on about her sweets. "Well then, it looks like Sugar Quills are the winners," he said, still quite amused by his girlfriend.

He laughed again at the mention of Selina freaking out at Honeydukes, which was hard to imagine. Selina, around him anyway, was not one to freak out. Usually she was too proud, and kept her cool.

But wait a minute.... That reminded him. Just early that day he had been with Selina at the Three Broomsticks, talking for a long time. And something they'd talked about you might ask? Well, the one thing they'd talked about that was important to this particular conversation with Violet was the one about the hate potion.

Uh-oh.

Christopher's stomach once again sank as he realized what had to be done. It really did have to be done too, it was for a grade. And he was far too afraid of Professor Lafay to not do his homework.

With a hidden gulp, the fourteen year old lion reached into his bag, turning his head so the Hufflepuff couldn't see his face, with a slight frown and pulled out a small flask, containing a light coloured potion that smelled like air right after it rained. That was his favourite smell. Though he wasn't sure on how well it would taste.... But his potion making skills weren't too bad, so he tried to stay confident and wiped the thought from his mind.

The flask was labled in small, messy handwriting, 'Hate Potion.' The frown still on his face, he handed it slowly over to Violet, determined not to let her see how nervous he was. Selina had warned him about making her worried, and he wanted to start the homework off on a good note. Goodness knows they needed it.

Good gravy, he did not want to do this assignment.
