"Alright then. I cant wait untill next year so I can get my own broom and try out for the quiditch team" Jen said as she smilled

Logan laughed. "Same here!" he said. "It'd be real cool to have your own broom. Not that I'd get one though." he said, rolling his eyes. "My aunt would never buy one for me no matter what." he said with a sigh.

Walking straight from the Ravenclaw table, Taryn decided to still skip over her own table and slid over towards the Gryffindors. Gryffindors were friendly, right? Surely none of them would mind. Besides, she was looking for one in particular anyway.

"Hey." She nudged the Gryffindor and grinned. "Mind if I sit?"

The Gryffindor Table was as alive a usual, their house seemed for once at least, to be very like in the graduating seven years category this term so spirtis seemed to be rather light, generally. Everyone was talking, laughing and carrying on well enough.

As Auggie was trying to listen to a particularly raucious bit of conversation a little ways down the table he felt a nudge in his side, the side Kurumi wasn't on and he turned cuirous to see who the newcomer was.

"Taryn! Hey!" he reached an arm around her and thinking for a second whether or not to do it and face an embarrassing looking from the Prefect, he kissed her quickly on the cheek. "What brings you to the table of the Lions?" he asked with a grin.

"Alright well okay then. Maybe if you bought one your self?"

Taryn hadn't even been to the Slytherin table yet, she was pretty good at blending in and she honestly had no desire to sit over there anyway, all of her friends were other places.

She smiled at the boy beside her and shrugged, "Hmmm. You?" HEHE. Yep. That's what had brought her over to the table. She too placed a kiss on his cheek before glancing around the table. She was glad to see who was on the other side of August, and smiled at the older girl, "Hello Kurumi." She leaned over just a little and waved.

"There's nothing I want more on the last night at Hogwarts than to be an honorary Gryffindor." She added to August with a WINK. Besides, Mo had mostly shunned her and Aspen was MIA.

Yeah, Selina was going to miss magic too. It was something that every year, no matter what the circumstance, Selina always missed when she left Hogwarts for the summer. Her parents surely never made it easier because they depended on magic like a babe does a bottle. Seriously, if they would only just lay off magic so not to rub it in her- did he say Taryn?

A smirk spread across Selina's face and she rose her left eyebrow just enough for Auggie to notice. Her arms crossed over her chest and with a bemused smirk she replied in a sing-songy voice, "Oh, Taryn? Hmmm... well, what do you know? Auggie is growing up and kissing girls and such." She made a few kissy noises and then broke out into a chuckle.

Once it subsided she said, "Nah I'm just joking. I'm happy for you."

Of course Gideon would be spending the summer working with his parents in their respective fields. He was a good son and would no doubt help them achieve what they needed to during the summer holiday. However, for Selina, she felt a little strange spending her summer just doing Quidditch. It was what she loved more than anything, but she would be away from her friends. From the sound of Gideon's plans as he phrased it and what she previously knew from him telling her, he would still have time to see friends and the like. Selina knew her summer would be nothing short of hectic. Now that she was actually staring summer in the face she wished she had made more room to spend time with Gideon. Maybe her Dad would let her apparate to the Gerts to spend some time with him this summer... one could dream.

"Your summer sounds brilliant. I know your parents will appreciate all of the help you'll be giving them. Is Kacie helping too?"

"Hi Logan! Hi Jen!" Lilly grinned, sitting down next to them. Her name was Jen, wasn't it? She was pretty sure it was the girl she'd met earlier in the term. Oh, great, she'd interuptted again. Too late to back off now. "Did I hear you ickle firsties talking about brooms? Your own brooms are much bettter than the school ones. Could you save up, Logan?" Her look said that she wasn't being at all mean when she said 'ickle firsties'.

He was leaving Hogwarts. He wasn't coming back. He wasn't going to cry. Matthew wasn't going to show how he felt. He took an empty seat at the table, far from everyone else. Stupid Greece. Stupid parents. How could they do this to him? Cruelty. Hogwarts was where he was happiest. He blinked back the tears. It was terrible. He'd have to say goodbye to everyone. Not that he knew many people. At all.

Err, was Zeke understanding this all right? She was apologizing? Blink. Really now? Whoah. "Okay, I guess," he said slowly as he tried to process this to his brain. And he began to think that Lyssie was playing some kind of joke on him, trying to be nice and all after what he said to her. 'Come on Zeke, the girl wants to know your name. Say something, anything. Andrew, Joshua, Kevin, Vince, Cyrus, Erick, Francis, Ramon, any name you can think of. Just not.. "Zeke." 'Oh brother... What have I done?'

Now that that's out of the box, might as well go on with it. "Yeah. My name's Zeke," he said as he bit his lip. If he did lie, Renesmee would probably tell Lyssie his real name anyway. They were friends. There was no escape to this. He watched as Lyssie's mood turned to a sad one. Not another sad girl tonight all because of Zeke. Noooo.

Alex smiled at the first year. "So watchu doing during the holidays?" she asked taking another sip of pupkin juice from her Goblet.

Tayla didn't recognize the girl who had reached the Gryffindor table. "Hello there," Tayla greeted with a smile.

Gideon smiled laxidasically at the thought of his summer being...as Selina said...brilliant. Not many would be willing to spend the time academically after the rest of the year at school. Aye they probably would appreciate the help, but it wasn't like he didn't enjoy it in the first place. The boy briefly wondering of there was something special to happen in the heavens over the summer which was always exciting. But as Selina spoke, he pished it aside for there was plenty of time once they were both at their respective homes.

"Maybe..." he answered with a shrug, not knowing for certain. She occasionally did...when the spirit suited her, otherwise she was the energetic and rambungious young girl she really was. "Dad might try to test what she learned from Lafay against what he knows like he did with me." Potioners always seemed to be comparing skills as if it was a big competition.

"Well hello Zeke. I'm sorry for accusing you of stealing and bothering Nessie. I guess I kind of protective over her, that I jump to conclusions. It was nice meeting you and I suspect you think that I'm weird. Don't worry you're not the only one." Alyssa attempted a smile. "Anyway it's nice meeting you despite such weird circumstances. I should go now. Maybe I'll see you on the train... And don't worry I won't go all out to look for you there. I know that you treasure your privacy and for some reason I have a feeling you're trying to stay as far away from us girls as possible. Don't blame you, we have the craziest moods ever." Alyssa told him grinning.

Psshht! Now he was being silly. Her need he's help? Chyea right. She could be perfectly fine without him. What she needed and desperately wanted was her best friend to be there, but he couldn't be. So having no better option, Nessie continued listening to the rude boy. She listened to he's words and oddly so, her sadness had began to turn into anger.

The tears had lessened and now instead of being all upset, the red head glared at the Gryffindor with rage in her bluey-hazel eyes. "Leave! Me! Alone!" she said each word with a strong voice almost as though she was shouting. Good thing she hadn't hiccuped, cause that would have ruined the whole effect.

It was at that moment, after another one of her hiccups, that Lyssie came. That was when she realized she needed to calm down, before she really lost it. As the two spoke, or more argued Nessie started to drift off into her own world. She began to think about strange things and she tried to focus on happy thoughts, such as that tomorrow she'd be seeing her little brother, Ethan again. Now that was something to look forward too.

By now, when she got back into focus of her surroundings, the tears were gone, but the anger was still there growing in her chest. There was only one thing to do, to take it away. That was finding the bracelet. "Hey..*hiccup* Lyss." said Ness wiping her face so she didn't look like a total mess in front of her fellow badger. "Umm..excuse me." she continued and then got to her knees and began searching for the bracelet again.

It had to be somewhere.

Oh. Anya said the wrong thing, hadn't she? 'Erm thanks' wasn't really much of a response. She blinked. Wait... what? "Why would I scream at you?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "It's not like it was your fault." Unless Blakey decided to leave out the part where he said 'Kiss me now and ruin my relationship with my best friend'. Which wouldn't make sense since he said he pushed the friend stealer away.

Plus, as far as she knew he didn't even like girls like that anyway. Just like she didn't think about boys like that.

"Would you yell at me if some boy kissed me?" It was only fair to ask since he brought it up.

She nodded enthusiastically. Ice cream and normal and just the two of them sounded perfect. "Sounds good." she said. It was their normal arrangement. "Let's do it in the tree house though." Because she was selfish and she missed him. She needed alone time with her best friend to make up for how she had to share him all school year.

Kurumi smiled and sighed against Selina's head. Why did life have to get so complicated all of a sudden? It was selfish of her, but she really didn't want to think about this situation - the one with Lewis and Jonathan - right now. There were more pressing matters that she needed to get through first. Namely the event that was going to literally tear her family apart. She hadn't given much thought to her mother over the past few days either...and that made the prefect feel more guilty than she did about the kiss that she couldn't remember.

Kurumi lifted her head now and sat up straight as she traced the rim of her goblet. She really wished that she had some pumpkin juice right now. "Do you mind staying in my room when you come to visit?" she asked rather suddenly just to change the subject. Selina coming to visit, despite the circumstances being a little grim, was something she was very much looking forward to.

And then Kurumi saw the sad face of her favorite little lion. While most probably assumed that Jezz was feeling down because it was the end of term and that it just how people reacted to goodbyes, Kurumi knew better. She knew what was on the first year's mind and she moved down the table just a bit to sit next to her, removing a small piece of parchment from her pocket with her home address on it and handing it to her.

"Write me if you need anything," she said, ignoring the greetings for now because those were not important. Jezz just needed to know that someone would be there to listen to her. At least, that is what Kurumi wanted herself under these sort of circumstances.

Meet. Good. Kurumi was glad that one of them was able to sort of hold themselves together. Smiling, Kurumi simply nodded in return and would have suggested that they do a double date...but that got her thinking about...well, stuff that was far too complicated yet not complicated at all.

His next question really didn't make things any better, to be honest. It had been nothing short of a roller coaster ride of a term and her hanging on for dear life the entire time. There had been highs that made her feel as though she were on top of the world, and then there had been lows that had made her want to just vanish into thin air. But still, she was here, now, with surrounded by friends. You couldn't get much better than that. "It was...interesting," she nodded. "I'm just glad I survived my OWLs." Among other things.

Lyssie realized that Nessie was talking to her and that she was back on her knees looking for something. "Excuse me, Zeke. I've got to help Nessie find what she's looking for. It was nice meeting you by the way, even if you didn't dare take on my challenge." Alyssa grinned at him before turning back to Nessie. "Nessie take a deep breath. Tell me what you're looking for. Describe it to me, so I can help you look for it too. We WILL find it, believe me. Okay? Where did you last see it?." Alysse tried to calm Nessie down as she spoke to her. Alyssa looked over worriedly at Zeke before turning back to Nessie. She hoped with all her heart that they did find what Nessie had lost.

Oh boy. Zeke was starting to get the impression that this girl talked a lot more than she probably wanted. He sighed and said, "It's okay, nice meeting you too, I guess." Indeed, they met on the wrong foot. But she was still as talkative as ever. He couldn't imagine himself replying such long responses. Anywaaay. She gets him, that's cool.

Zeke rolled his eyes. Another crazy girl. He put up his hands in defeat, "Okay, 'Nessie,' I give up. You're just....so full of yourself, huh? I'm trying to help you, but it seems you really DON'T need MY help after all." Mehh, Zeke was disgusted with himself with even thinking of helping her calm down. No way was she ever going to listen to him.

Really, she needs to set her priorities straight. A bracelet? All this for a bracelet? Seriously. Oh well, he gave all his effort up to help but it appears so that she's too much filled with pride to even accept it. With his last remark, he turned around and faced the opposite direction to the other side where the person sitting beside him was so occupied in conversation with the others. Well, this was a lot better than drama. He was starting to accept all the noise around. They were happy anyway, it's a feast for Merlin's sake!

He listened for a while as Lyssie tried to help Renesmee in finding her bracelet. Mehh, he was definitely planning to help before, but now? No way. It was better to not meddle with other people's business after all. And now he was filled with regret. Regret of ever trying to be nice to her when she's all that.

Lyssie bent down looking under people's feet trying to find what Nessie has lost. "I'm going to Accio it. Here's hoping that I don't end up summoning everybody's here."Alyssa told Nessie. Pulling out her wand she said,"ACCIO Nessie's bracelet!!" Unfortunately nothing came flying into the hand that she had held out. Lyssie looked at Zeke who had turned his back to them like as if he was no longer interested in talking to them. Lyssie started to grin. She knew it was wrong but couldn't help it. "Accio Zeke's plate!!"she whispered pointing her wand at Zeke under cover of the table she was under.

Alec blinked. Why would she scream at him? Well... wasn't it pretty much obvious? He had been kissed by another girl. He half expected Anya and Adeline to start fighting about... all this. Or for Anya to scream about how she knew that the other first year was trouble. Something like that.

But if she wasn't going to, Alec wasn't going to complain. "I... erm, I just thought..." He should really learn how to spill things out. "Well, you never really liked Adeline did you? I thought you'd be upset knowing that she tried to... get close."

Alec gulped. It wasn't her question that made him slightly speechless, it was the idea of another guy, a stranger, taking his best friend away from him. Did he want that? No. Could he stop it from happening? ... Maybe. "I'd never yell at you," he said, "I just... I'd be a bit mad. And worried that someone's trying to take you away from me..."

Maybe he shouldn't have said anything at all.

The treehouse! Their usual arrangement! It would be just like their old days and that idea made him feel slightly happier. "Yeah!" he said, "We can catch up on everything we've missed with each other." Because something told him that they had quite a bit to catch up on.

Whilst looking for her bracelet Nessie heard Zeke speak again, which caused her to get up and listen, hoping this would be all he had left to say to her.

Now things were really getting serious. At least he had the decencey to use her nickname. It wasn't that she hated being called Renesmee, it was just that it reminded her of her parents and that wasn't something she liked to think about often. What really got her mad though was that this Zeke thought she was full of herself. She knew the shouting would come soon, her temper was boiled up too high now.

He was going to get Loch Ness treatment now. " I AM NOT FULL OF MYSELF!" she began screeching at him, and trust me her screeching sounded terrible and high pitched. "I JUST DON'T NEED HELP FROM SUCH A MEANIE!" Meanie? Really? What a wonderful word to use. Ness automatically blushed a little as she registered what she had just called him. She sounded like a two year old.

The red head then bent down again and began searching. Only to find that Lyssie had somehow caused Zeke's plate to crash into pieces on the floor. She didn't mean to be angry or anything, but she couldn't help it. "What have you done?" she asked in a bit of an annoyed voice.

Then she saw it, the best friend bracelet. It was in her own shoe. It must have dropped there and had gotten stuck in the side. She pulled it out and then put it around her wrist. "Found it!" she said as a small smile grew on her face. Now what to do? Either leave? Or argue? She wanted to argue..she wanted to get rid of all the anger even if leaving would have been more mature. She stood up and then trying to be all Slytherin on Zeke she began glaring at him.

Ok. Anya looked fine with Alec-for now. Adam reluctantly let go of his fork and got off the bench and walked over to Nessie. He tapped her on the shoulder and asked "Is everything alright-you were being kind of loud there..." He wasn't going to point any fingers or make any assumptions until he knew the full story. Still, Nessie's raised voice alarmed him to go over and try to calm the situation down. If anyone were bothering her that would not be good on their part. First off, it would be uncalled for to bother her and secondly his food was getting colder by the second but still he had to do what he had to do.

"Yay, you found it, Nessie. I knew you would. OOOOPPPS!! Shoot! Forgot to catch that plate."Alyssa giggled when she belatedly remembered that she had summoned Zeke's plate but had forgotten to catch it. End result broken plate on the floor. "Okay okay don't freak out, Nessie. I'll fix it. REPARO!!" Akyssa said pointing her wand at the broken pieces of the plate. They immediately flew back together and the plate looked good as new. "See. I told you no worries. I'll just return it to him."Alyssa told Nessie as she climbed out from under the table, ran over to Zeke and plopped the plate in front of him.

"Here's your plate, Zeke. Somehow it seemed to like me and came to find me. Don't know why it did that but here I am returning it back to you."Alyssa said trying to keep a straight face and trying not to laugh.

Logan half-smiled. "I don't have any money." he said. "And I'd never expect my aunt to give me any either." he added, rolling his eyes.
