Yawning, Melania finally headed down to the dorms. What am I still doing up?

She proceeded to go to the First Year dorms. She searched for her trunk, which was quite difficult for her since she didn't put anything on it for her to easily recognize it.

Note to self.. Add a bow? No. A pin? A sticker? Maybe.

Once she finally found hers, she plopped herself onto her bed.

She looked around and smiled. Nice.. Green curtains. I can get use to this. Although smaller than she is used to, the bed was pretty comfy. She lied in bed, closed her eyes.. and of course. She doesn't feel sleepy anymore.

Oh for Merlin's sake, what is wrong with me?!

She didn't see anyone else in the room. She began to wonder who occupied the beds around her.

I guess I'm going to have to wait and see.

She searched her trunk, pulled out a book, and began to read.

Just then Desiree noticed another girl walk in and sit down a few beds down. Suddenly she recognized who it was and her face lit up even more (if that was possible)

"Hey Lana" she called out. "You've got to come try these!" she said motioning for her to come over, still giggling slightly, probably an after effect of those candies. She wondered what would happen when Lana tried one.

Then she noticed she was reading and felt kind of bad for interrupting "sorry.. if you want to that is" she added with a grin "What's that you're reading?"

Zhenya, who had returned to the girls dorms after a bit of a Hogwarts wander, noticed another girl in there, along with the other girls (with the Bertie Botts!!) who was reading. Usually she didn't interrupt people who were reading, but it was time to meet a few new first years. After all, friends were how she was going to get through the year.

"Lana!" She said, happy to see a face she remembered. "Have you been having fun here so far? What are you reading?" she asked, and plonked on the bed next to hers which just happened to be her own bed.



"Oh, I'd love one," Zhenya said and reached in. "MMM!! Cherry - my favourite," she said as she ate it.

She turned to say a quick hello to everyone else in the dorm, hoping to spark conversation.

Raven just reached slytherin girls dormitory. She saw some first year students and one of them she knew Desiree was there.

"Hey Desiree. What's that?" asked her.


"Hi Zhenya, how was your day?"

"It was okay, I just had a wander around the place. The library is magnificent! How about you, how was your day?"

She stood up and began unpacking her things, still chattering away with conversation.

"Wicked! I just discovered some. The lake was a nice place to relax." said her, she put her bag and take off her robe.

"I just practiced some charms, but it failed :lol."

"Oh, what did you practice? I haven't really done any yet. I hope my wand and I match, though. Are you looking forward to our first Charms class? I am.

I must go and look at the Lake sometime soon. Would you like to go for a walk there with me later? Maybe it will be a good study area...

It's very bizarre not being at home, don't you think?" Zhenya asked, having trouble controlling her words!

"Oh yeah, the Lake is my favorite spot to study. The common room is not a comfort place to learn, I don't know why." she said. "Someday I will bring you there."

Raven took her wand from her bag, She wanted show Zhenya what she practiced at the lake.

"You want to see?" she looked for something that could be her charms object. Her scarf, she wanted to try summoning charm


"Accio scarf!" Then her scarf came forward to her hand.

"I only did the use of summoning charm. Others were failed " she laughed. She raised up her glasses then continued her talks

"I'm looking forward for tomorrow's first charm lesson! Sounds cool. By The way, whats wrong with your.. wand?"

Zhenya looked, amazed. "That's very great! Did you practice for long? I've never really tried to use spells. I'm much better with my hands, you know, with herbology and potions. That's why I'm a bit scared about how my wand and I will connect, because I'm so used to what my hands do. There is nothing wrong with it... That is very very great," she said, still amazed.

Zhenya decided she wound have to find an empty space one day to practice charms.

"Thanks " she smiled to her. "Actually my brother had taught me at summer when I got my first wand. He taught me many, but I just did some." said her. "Wanna have some?" she offered chocolate frog.

"I see. You just need practice to use it. Its common for first year student." said her. But in her mind, Raven still wandered Why didn't I belong to Ravenclaw?

"Oh, please," said Zhenya as she grabbed two chocolate frogs.

Life at Hogwarts was good, she got to collect her own cards, and not just duplicates her brother had.

"Oooh, Salazar Slytherin," She said as she pulled out the first card. "I don't have him yet!"

She ate her frog, thinking about spells. "How long did it take you to learn it?"

"I got Harry Potter!" said her hapily. She noticed the card and read some remarks behind it.

"I bet he was the greatest wizard in his century." said Raven, she still busy with chocolate

"Oh, about the charms, I have been practicing it during summer, most of them were taught by my brother. He was nice and expert in charms.Do you have siblings, by the way?" asked her

Eris couldn't help but help "sell" the magical delights to other people. "Their 'mystery candy', Have great effects though, I'd give one a go." the boy-girl of a which grinned happily, though she didn't seem to recognize the girl. "I'm Eris by the way."

Katrina went sat down her bed or bunk. Whatever it was.
She opened up her trunk to fix them up. The whole train ride disarranged the arrangement of her things. Her books went over her clothes and HER WAND?!
Where was her wand? It was not there.

"Oh wait, here," she said seeing it under her green sweater. Finally, she looked at all the girls in the dormitory. They were all, mostly, first, second, and third students. They seemed to go along so well. But Katrina has always had problems making friends.

"Sighs," Katrina said. "Oh well"
She tossed her shoes down the floor, beside her bed and fixed her hair. She decided to go to classes. So she picked up her bag and went.

As Violet entered the Slytherin Girls' Dormitory, she was very excited because it's her first time to enter a dormitory.

So this is what a dormitory looks like... Cool...

Then she walked towards her bed and luckily it's beside the window, before going to sleep Violet fed first her owl, Athene. It was a gift from her mother who passed away before she turned 7 years old. A drop of tear fell down from her violet eyes, because she reminded herself of her again..

Mom, how I missed you...

Then she heard footsteps,

"Sicco Cursim" and the charm dried her tears.

She changed to her night gown immediately and went to sleep.

It's going to be a new fresh start tomorrow... I better get a goodnight sleep.

Kelsey got up and got ready for another day. She decided to look at her chocolate frog collection. She had Albus Dumbledore,Gwenog Jones,Salazar Slytherin,Helga Hufflepuff,Rowena Ravenclaw,Armando Dippet,and Bertie Bott. Basically the only ones she didn`t have are Godric Griffindor, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
Then, Kelsey went to get breakfast.

Another girl gave a box of.. Bertie Bott's every flavor Beans.

"Hahahaha.. I love how you mention 'Bertie Bott's every flavor Beans' as a 'mystery candy'. I had tried it when I was eight. But, let me try one." Raven took one and try it. "Not bad, seaweed." She thanked that she didn't get the disgusting one, just like when she was eight she got brain flavor.

"By the way, I'm Raven Charlotte. Its a pleasure to meet you." she raised her glasses and smiled to her.

Kelsey got back and started to eat another chocolate frog card. She started to unwrap it.Could it be?Could it really be a harry potter?Uggh!It`s just a godric griffindor. Oh well. At least she didn`t get another armando dippet. She put the box in her trunk and stared at the ceiling. When will I get a Harry potter?
(She collected them since she was 6 and never got a harry potter.)

Lua looked up, shocked. Someone was actually talking to her. Closing her book she answered. Hello. I'm Lua, nice to meet you!, she said shyly.

"Oh Hey Raven" she waved "Like Eris said they're 'mystery' candy" Desiree laughed slightly when she put one in her mouth saying it was a Bertie Bott's bean.

"Um those aren't Bertie Bott's.. They're a new kind of candy Maddy found, and well they have interesting effects" She smiled and waited to see what would happen with the one Raven ate, would it be exploding flavors and colors like hers? maybe a love potion like Eris's? Or something completely different?

Violet stumbled down the stairs to the Slytherin Girl's dorms after the Opening Feast was finally over. She had been up before dawn, been hurried through Diagon Alley to pick up her wand (her very own wand!) at the very last minute, and then rushed to King's Cross station, left alone on the platform with a lot of strangers, ridden all day on a train through the north country, sailed across a lake, been sorted into Slytherin, sat through a very long dinner with a lot of other students she had never met before, and now had finally made her way to the First Years dormitory. It had, in fact, been a very, very long day.

As she entered the room, she looked tiredly around for her things and spotted the antique wooden cage holding a very sleepy looking Mack sitting on top of one of the beds. When she walked over to her, she saw her trunk and bookbag neatly sitting nearby. With relief, she carefully picked up Mack's cage and set it on a nearby nightstand without waking him, then flopped onto the bed.

"I'm guessing your a first year as well? Me too. How much do you know about Hogwarts?" Ariana said to Lua

"Snape? Any relation to Severous snape, the one that worked here when the golden Tri went here?" Ariana asked intrested as always

Suddenly Lana heard two girls call her. Am I mental? I thought I didn't see anyone in here...

She looked up from her book and sure enough there were other people in the dorm. Was I that tired not to notice these girls?

She tried to locate who called her and finally saw the two girls looking at her. One a few beds down, "Hey Desiree," and the other right next to her, "Hey Zhenya," she said smiling at the both of them.

She eyed Desiree holding some candy as she called Lana over to try some. Lana was tempted and thought about it. As she was going to put her book down both girls asked about the book. She showed them the cover. "It's 'Saucy Tricks for Tricky Sorts'," she said embarrassed. "One of my brothers gave it to me. He said in case I get bored here," she laughed.

She was happy that at least a couple of her new friends were nearby in this dorm. She yawned and turned back to Desiree. "What are those by the way?" With magical candy you just couldn't be too sure.
