Mickey heard what Nymphadora said and started laughing. "I guess Hufflepuffs were meant to be farmers, we're all good at either taking care of critters or growing things." Who knew that would happen? "I;m going to buy the farm once I get enough money. I don't think I'll ever be able to see my self doing something else."

Nymphadora smiled and looked at Faven "Yes there are, Aurors are dark wizard catchers. You can be a Healer, basically like a doctor or a nurse in the muggle world only more powerful. Professor's, teachers. Potioneers, Someone who's mega good at potions. Herbologists, they are people who studdy plants" Nymphadora smiled "There are lots of jobs in the wizarding world, I'm half blood, my mother was a pureblood my Father a muggle"

"It doesn't really matter, I don't think we really need to know whhat we're gonna do till at least third year, that's when we have to start with the concentration classes right?" Mickey took a sip of pumpkin juice, she thought it was odd, like drinking pumpkin pie. She looked over to the other tables and saw Fai, talking to new people, Jay, seemed nervous and shy as always at the Ravenclaw table. Poor boy. "I wonder when classes start..."

"Oh, goodness! There are so many options!!! And you want to be with the Care of Magical Creatures or become an Auror? Very cool! I'm not good at anything yet, perhaps that would help me choose!" Faven said excitedly. "So a student can be muggleborn, half blood or pure blood? Is that right?" Faven asked. "My aunt never performed magic so I never suspected anything, but she is such a magnificent witch! My brother also showed magical abilities, he was planning on coming to Hogwarts...he would have graduated already..." Faven's voice trailed off momentarily. "Anyways," she said, focused and bubbly once more, "the three of us are the only ones magical in my entire family."

"My Ma is a witch, and Pappy is a wizard, but Pappy isn't my real Dad. It's amazingly ironic how my family worked out. Pappy's great great great greeat great great great sometihng or other was one of the judges in the Salem witch trials. My Ma is the great great great great grandaughter of a spirit cheif of the Miq' Maq'ui tribe in Nove Scotia. The whole line of us are good at divination." Mickey forgot the reason why she went on the rant of her family history. "Oh, right blood well there aren't really a whole lot of purebloods in America any more. Most of us are just mixed."

Emma smiled. "I want to be in the Care of Magical Creatures. I loves animals; I love pegasi and foxes." she smiled. "Oh, I have to go to the bathroom. Be back soon!" she said as she hurried off to the bathroom.

"Oh goodness, that is ironic! Are you looking forward to Divination class then?" Faven inquired. "You are from America? That is so neat!" Faven squeled.

Nymphadora smiled and looked at Faven "Yes thats right, there are a lot of potions I just hope i can achive what i want to be" Nymphadora smiled and looked to Mickey "I don't know my mothers side of the family, they disowned her after marrying my father then broke all connections with us. But i know all my faters side of the family, we're not allowed to use magic though when we go see them. I only used it when i was really little and my mum told everyone that i just had a psycic thing going on with me" Nymphadora smiled at the memory "But now i cant use it at all, only in the house to practise spells"

"I'm sure a girl as nice and smart as you seem to be will achieve anything and everything!" Faven smiled. "So...would it be alright it I called you my friend? I don't really have anything, other than Rose." Faven asked aprehensively.

Nymphadora smiled and nodded "Thank you, I'm sure you'll achive as well Faven" Nymphadora smiled.
She too a drink of Pumpkin Juice and nodded "Sure thing, I'd be happy to Be your Friend" Nymphadora spoke.

Christopher headed over to the Hufflepuff table, looking for a certain person he really needed to talk to. However, it took him less than merely five seconds in completing this particular task. A bright yellow headband bobbed above a head he couldn't see, but he still knew to whom it belonged. As short as she was, Violet Le Veela would always stand out to him even in the biggest crowd.

Nonchalantly making his way toward her, Christopher slipped in next to her, pretending not to notice the little Veela's presence. However, he was rather hard to miss- even at fourteen years old he was about 5"8- six inches more than his girlfriend. He glanced around, and pretended jokingly to just now see her. "Violet!" he gasped with a grin, "Why, I hadn't seen you!" He held out his had to shake hers, "How do you do?" But as she held out her hand to shake his back, he brushed it off and wrapped her in a big hug instead. Whispering into her ear, he said softly, "I missed you. AND your headband."

Muggle strike? Wait... Were there wizard strikes as well?

... Ok, this was not the time to find out about these things. "Maybe," Kita said, shrugging, "Or maybe something happened down in the kitchens earlier today and they didn't have enough time...?" Or maybe it was something else altogether...

Easier? "That's good," she said, the smile returning to her face, "Who knows, maybe you'll become popular among the older kids." Take it to the bank? Nah, she wasn't going to ask about that. It still meant he appreciated it, right? "Oh! That's sweet of you. Thank you," she said, the smile still lingering on her face.

Now... time to change the subject. "So how was your summer?" she asked.

And now Louisa was looking down at the floor. What kind of magical powers did this boy have that made Louisa... change so much? And most importantly: did he need to be jinxed? Frowning Kita took Louisa's hand and gently led her over to the table and sat down. "Now... explain everything that happened," she said gently. Unless Louisa didn't want to, obviously.

Make it mandatory... for some reason, Kita didn't like this idea either. But... with the volunteering idea, not many people would volunteer to clean up so mandatory cleaning up sessions might be the way to go. "Maybe," she said, shrugging her shoulders, "Let's hope this mess doesn't last too long. Or... get worse." There was no way she was going to clean up mess all the way until January. There's no way that that's happening! Logical explanation... "And once you Ravvenclaw's find out the answer, share it with the rest of the school," she said, grinning at Louisa. Ok, maybe it wasn't the time to make jokes. "Wait... has the headmaster given a speech yet?" she asked, frowning up at the staff table. Was she missing something...?

"It's great! I'm not getting as lost in it as i was when i first moved in," Definitely something to celebrate, right? "I am! And thanks for coming over for the pool party." It was lovely to see Louisa outside of Hogwarts. Except... they usually met up in Flourish and Blotts didn't they? "I went to California for a week with Caroline," Driving around madly in an open-topped car and going after hunky American boys... all in all: a good trip. "What about you? How did you spend your summer after the pool party?"

... Ok, maybe now wasn't the time to ask silly questions.

Kita rubbed Maria's arm and glanced up. Her eyes scanned the Slytherin table. Would she be able to see this Lorelai person from here? ... Ok, maybe not. Giving up her fruitless search, she focused her attention on Maria instead. "Did you tell her that she touched on the wrong subject?" she asked, "Maybe the girl made a mistake and didn't realise...?"



Kita smiled back at Rose. It was nice how much she cared for her sisters. Kind of made her wish she had a sister. But then again, one brother was enough for her. "Good!" she said, "And in the meantime, we need to hand out more." She wrapped her arm around Rose's shoulders, the smile still playing on her face.

... But then again, maybe the girl didn't want to hang around with a weirdo. Siiiiigh!

Best time of her life? "Why is it that i can imagine you having detentions and getting into fights?" she giggled.

Turning her head, she looked at the girl who had just started talking to her randomly. Who would- "CAROLINE!" she squealed, getting up and tackling hugging the blonde-haired girl. Merlin, they might be living together but it was good to see her again!

... Maybe she needed to calm down.

"Er..." She looked down at the silverware before looking back up at Caroline. "That's starting to look like a very good idea..." No food at Hogwarts is just... BAD! What a way to start the year! "Come sit," she said, sitting back down at the table.

Now... what do you talk about with someone you spend nearly every hour of the day with? "So how do the Hogwarts" ie. Gryffindor "boys compare to the hunky American ones?" she asked, smirking over at Caroline.

"Welcome Nyphadora! Thank you...too kind!" Faven giggled. "Is that pumpkin juice? Yipeee!!" she exclaimed while grabbing a cup and pouring herself some. "Yay, thank you!!" "I wonder when we will be allowed to go to our Common Room, i heard we are in a basement, nice and safe and earthy, as well as warm! So much exploring to be done!"

Nymphadora smiled and took another sip of her pumpkin Juice, giggling at Favens Reaction to it. "I've heard its got tunnels, it will be amazing to explore!" Nymphadora smiled.

Faven watched Nymphadora giggle. Giggling was a good sign...right?? She really hoped to be friends with this girl. She was nice, and one of the only people to really have a converstation past "Hello, what house are you in?" with her. "Tunnels???/ Yeeessss!!! I hope we don't get lost while out on adventures," Faven chuckled.

"Same here but my mom is an American muggle who has a plant nursery and my dad is a wizard historian who studies the witch trials in America and Europe." Belle reached down and got Anne from her carrier. The little black kitten curled into her robes.


"Faven I think we'll all end up very good friends. Yeah my dad was a hufflepuff and he said the common room is like a homey cave."

Nymphadora laughed and looked at Faven "You are mad, Crazy Mad" Nymphadora smiled "I like it, just like me"
Nymphadora smiled "I doubt we will, I think there will be signs for the younger years and as well there are Prefects" Nymphadora smiled.

Shannon nodded his head, "Yeah, I don't understand why everyone has dirty silverware." He commented. He had heard so many good things about Hogwarts, but sanitation wasn't anything that stuck out much in all the stories. Shannon desperately hoped that this was just an accident and that things would be fixed soon; he wouldn't be able to stand living in a place that couldn't even offer clean silverware to eat off of. He couldn't even imagine how many kids would be getting sick if this continued on.

"That's a beautiful name, Kita." Shannon commented. "I've never heard anything like it before." He added on, he definitely considered that an unique name. Or at least to him, maybe not to others, but to him it was. "Seven years here? Wow, so it's like home away from home then." He commented. "I wish I knew what that was like, the school I was at before I transferred was really tiny and it wasn't a boarding school. I commuted every day to school and then back home; it wasn't anything like this." He told her.

Shannon listened to Daphne as she spoke, nodding his head here and there. "I know how that feels." Shannon said letting out a deep sigh. He was trying not to think about his dad and how angry it made him thinking about how little time he spent with his family. It was always about work, and never about family. That's what made Shannon the most upset with his dad, among just forgetting things, like picking his own son up from school...

It was weird how much Daphne and Shannon had in common but yet at the same time it was completely different. Shannon slowly nodded his head again. "Kind of the same thing. Dad got a new job that requires a lot of traveling, so I came to live with my mom here in London which meant I got to come to Hogwarts." He told her. That was the simplest explanation Shannon had without getting into all of the details.

"Yay! I am so excited for this term! That is so cool. I can not wait to see it!" Faven blurted.

"I do pride myself on my loony antics...hehehehe. I can tell that we will get along quite well!" Faven said with a huge grin.

"Oh good point, thank goodness for that. I am a nasty habit of getting terribly lost...."

Nymphadora smiled and looked at Faven "You are very loony, I belive so too"
She then took a sip of pumpkin juice and put a little bit of salad on her plate, smiling "Its fine, I can see us getting a few detentions for being late to lessons then" Nymphadora smiled and looked at Faven "This is going to be a fun year"

Jules put her head in her hands. "This is a crazy mess up!" she said, "I guess I imagined everything running smoothly at a magical school.
"While we wait, can you introduce me to some more people please? I have to start getting to know everyone!" She said, looking hopefully up at her big sister.

"Yeah, well.." Daphne just shrugged and continued to drink the pumpkin juice. She started to feel a little frustrated. Daphne did look forward to studying at Hogwarts..but she felt completely alien out here. Really alone, in fact. She'd met a few people but yeah..she wasn't sure if she would be able to make any good friends at all. Ah..anyway, she just had to stick around for a couple of terms, right? How bad could that really be?

Daphne have him a smile, although she thought that it might have looked a little strained. She ran a hand through her hair again. "Well..I guess we're lucky to come here.." At least, that's what she'd heard. She was lucky to go to Hogwarts. Hmm. It was one of the best magical schools, after all.

Daphne tried to think of something to say and came up with, "So, are you glad to be in Hufflepuff?"

Daphne shifted a little when she noticed someone sit beside her. She gave the girl a smile and her face seemed slightly familar. "Hi. We've met before, right?" Now..where did they meet? Um. Daphne thought for a moment. Oh, right! They met on the platform. "Kita?" Daphne hoped she didn't get the name wrong. If she did..it would probably turn out to be the most embarrassing moment of her life.

" Nice to meet you" William told Violet.

" Emma, a very nice name" Willaim told her. " I might like to give that name to my daughter after I get married and have children" William explained to Emma. " Do you know about the classes here?" Willaim asked Emma. "Do yo uhave a favorite one?" William asked Emma.

" Hrllo Salima, nice to meet you" Willaim told her." Is Salima a special name with a background attached to it?" William asked her." I am doing fine, thank you" William smiled. " id the sorting hat do right by you by putting you in HufflePuff?" William asked Selima.

" I guess I can't tell a joke do well" William told Kitaabout the striking elves." You are right, something probably happened in the kitchen and things got out of hand" William said to Kita." Popular among the older students, very interesting, but just a few friends will be ok from the older students" William explained to Kita. " You seserve to me told sweet things because yo uare sweet' Willam smiled." I spent time in Africa with my girlfriend and her parents pluse Witsy, my girlfriend, spent time in Italy with me at my parents Villa" he expalined to Kita."What did yo udo for the summer?" William asked Kita.

"Oh wow, your Dad must be very famous and a great sportsman. He played Football, Baseball and Quidditch?? He played for Chudley Cannons? That's awesome. I love Quidditch. I hope that I'll be allowed to try for the House team this term.", Alyssa told William.

"As for us being great friends, right now? I think that we're working on getting there,"she grinned and winked at him.

Then Alyssa remembered that Rose was still sitting nearby. She didn't want her friend to think that she had neglected her. "Rose you are a 2nd year too right? Could you help me out too during classes. I know that both you and William are from Gryffindor, and will most likely be hanging out with your house mates more but I'd appreciate any help you can give me".

"Daisy, you're trying out for the Quidditch team too? That's great. I'm trying out too. I know my chances of getting picked aren't that great but my Dad always said If you don't try, you won't know. So I'm trying", she smiled at Daisy. Maybe we'll end up as team mates".
