Rosalie noticed another girl about her age come into the dormitory. "You have the most gorgeous owl!"

Minerva looked up from unpacking, "Hi Rosalie my name is Minerva. How are you?"

"I'm fantasic because I'm at Hogwarts finally! Its so amazing. How are you?"

Hmm how was Minerva feeling. That was a question now wasn't it. "Well to be honest overwhelmed would probably be the best way to say how I'm feeling right now. I'm so excited to be here, but so tired and confused at the same time. Does that make any sense?"

"Silly Lily. Hahahaha....now that's a good nickname for me. My family's nickname for me is Bouncer. I'm now officially the Bouncing Silly Lily," she grinned. "It was really silly of me to worry that I wouldn't make any friends here," Alyssa thought to herself. "I guess it all boils down to first day jitters".

When Rebecca walked into the second years' dorm area, the first person she saw (who also just happened to have a free bed by them) was Penny Laughgood. This girl was someone who Rebecca had missed during summer break and now she was happy to see her. "PENNYYYY!!!!" the second year yelled while fast walking over to give her a ginormous hug. "Oh how I missed youuu!!"

Jesifur found her bed with her trunk on top. She lifted the latches and began unpacking first her robes and school clothes. She carefully hung them in the wardrobe closest to her bed making sure she only used part of in in case they needed to share. Next she stacked the books on the shelf by the bed close enough to grab them to read in bed should the urge strike her(which it usually did).She set the potions items in the bottom of the wardrobe, it seemed the most suitable place. Taking the green bobble head lizard out of the bottom of the trunk she smiled. As she set it on the nightstand she gently tapped its head. It started nodding. She smiled and thought of her room at home. It was much different from here. She looked back at the lizard and smiled again. She closed the trunk and latched it, lifted it from the bed and set it on the ground. Jesifur set her hands on the top of the trunk like her mom had shown her and pushed gently until she felt it creak, the trunk started to shorten itself. She kept pushing on the top til it was just below bed level and pushed it underneath the bed. That was fine for now. She flopped down on the bed and stared up waiting for sleep to take her.

*BAM*

Sammy basically kicked down the door into the Fifth Year's dorm. It was something she did every year and there was no way in the world she was changing her traditions. Including the one about singing loudly and badly, but she'd get to that one later. As she looked around the room she noticed one small detail, she was the first one there. SCORE. It took her less than a millisecond to race to the bed she had now claimed as HER'S and flop down on face first yelling something along the lines of "CLAIMED AS SAMANTHA JOAN STAR'S BED" Her cat trailed after her, but it was fat so it's not like it was going to run. Or prance. Or walk a non-turtle pace.

With a bit of a struggle Sammy managed to get her wand out of her pocket and TRY a spell that she had been wanting to try all holidays but wasn't allowed. "Accio trunk" she said as powerfully as she could, with her head still face planted on the sheets. Only moments later did she hear her trunk moving extremely slowly (like, slower than her cat) across the floor towards the bed she had claimed. With as much effort as she could muster she looked up and give her trunk a 'you have GOT to be kidding me' look of un-amusement. So she rolled off HER bed and walked up behind her trunk and started pushing it towards her bed, or as she liked to call 'making it hurry the hell up'

"Yeah, it does actually." Rosalie laughed then continued, "I probably be very excited once classes start, then I will probably be stressed. Are you excited about classes?"

Penny actually laughed out loud.. Alyssa had to be the funniest person she ever met - without trying to be funny..

"Yes, I think 'lily' could catch on, its perfect"...

Penny saw another girl walk into the dorm, she heard someone scream her name and was immediately engulfed in a massive hug...

"Oh merlins pants Becca, I've missed you, crazy girl", returning the hug....

"Uhm, ya think maybe you could let me breath now?", she said into Becca's hair...still smiling though..

"Oh before I forget, this here is Alyssa, who we have just renamed Silly Lily or maybe just Lily ... Alyssa this crazy person is Becca"

Alyssa laughed along with Penny, "Silly Lily, Lily, Bouncer or plain old Alyssa, take your pick," she told Becca. "I'll answer to any of them, unless there's already some one here in Hogwarts called Silly Lily, Lily or Bouncer, then I guess we'll all answer," she said with a grin.

Amethyst went into the First Years room and smiled upon seeing her Black Owl, Onyx. She had waited so long to her. She ran over to a vacant bed, set Onyx free from the cage, and watched as her owl perched on her shoulder, spreading it's wings, as if stretching. Her hair fell into her face. Onyx reached over, pulling the hair from her beak.

After spending time with her sweet owl, Amethyst went to the window, opened it, and sat on the Ceil. "Go to the Owlery..Go on..I'll see you in the morning. I promise.." She pecked Onyx on the head and she hooted softly before spreading her wings and soaring off. She sighs softly tired. "Oh I hope I get along with my roommates..."

Katie walked into the dorm, there was so many girls in it. She found a bed near the window. She tryed to quickly and quietly un-pack all of her belongings and then she put her trunk at the end of her bed. Well this is my new home she thought.

Emma looked up at the girl. "Thanks! This is Eglantine; she's a barn owl." She said with a smile. She looked at past the girl and she saw Katie. "Hi Katie!" she waved then turned back to the girl. "I'm Emma by the way." she stuck out her hand.

Rosalie shook her hand, "I'm Rosalie." She turned around and stuck out her hand for the other girl, "hi Katie, I'm Rosalie. Nice to meet you."

"Oh, Hi Emma and it's nice to meet you Rosalie!"

Emma smiled. "Nice to meet you Rosalie! Katie, I haven't seen you since the feast! how are you?!" She asked as she began to unpack. She looked around the first-years dorm. 'This is nice!' she thought.

"I'm great! This place is so amazing! How are you?" she asked

Emma nodded. "Yeah! it is! I'm good. I'm kinda hungry. You? Oh, do you wanna go to the Great Hall to see if there's any food?" she asked as she placed her clothes in a drawer. She put her books on the desk next to her bed. Once done; she placed a single light blanket on the bed. She smiled. "Finished!" she whispered.

"I don't think there is, and when I went to the kitchen there's a sign that says "No students", I was shocked!" she said

"You guys should meet Minerva, shes a first year too."

Alyssa walked by the First Years room and noticed Amethyst sitting on a vacant bed. "Hey Amethyst, I'm so glad that you found a room. I was looking all over for you. I wish we could have shared rooms, but I guess 1st years have their own and 2nd years their own. But we can still hang out in the common room, if you want. But I'm sure once you get to know your room mates, you won't want to hang out with an old fogie like me," Alyssa grinned at her. She hoped that Amethyst would have great room mates like Alyssa had. She made it a point to check up on Amethyst every now and then to make sure that she was doing okay....just like Penny did with her.

Janice smiled to the girl she recognized as the one from the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.
"Hi, Alyssa.. Nice to meet you too.."


Then, the door creaked again.

It's Rebecca!
"REBECCAAAAAAA!!"

Raven walked down the hallways after returning from the owlry. She did feel a sense of loss after sending her only pet off to send a letter to her parents in america. She did promise them that she would message them when she arrived though. She walked into her bedroom and found that her luggage had already been brought up. Thank goodness for that. After leaving it in the middle of platform 9 and 3/4 she had been concerned that it would not be delivered. But that was the wonders of magic though. Things were a lot easier in some cases. She sat down on her bed and relaxed. She hoped that her roommates would be cool. She wondered if they would share similar interests. In the muggle world, Raven was interested in sewing, gardening, and oddly enough, video games. But, in the wizarding world, quidditch was her main goal. She hoped that her roommates wouldn't be too loud at night when she was trying to sleep. Raven layed down and as she was relaxing, her eyes slowly closed. Then, she fell asleep. Raven's dreams, they truly meant something. As Raven drifted off into a world that no one else would ever experience, she might have been missing out on other events that could have helped her meet other students. Raven didn't care though, because she was so tired.
