Aaron made his way into the History classroom, he made a peace sign towards Professor Scabior. 'Hiya prof.' He said before rushing off, maybe that wasn't the best greeting ever..
He spotted Alyssa and Minerva at their tables and made his way over to them, sitting down next to Alyssa. 'Hiiiii!'
Aaron flopped his feet onto the table, leaning back in his chair. Who knew, he might just learn something this lesson.

Alyssa couldn't believe her eyes and ears when she saw Aaron walk into class. Was this the same Aaron who skipped more classes than he attended them? 'Hmmm...maybe my tutoring him is helping him understand how important it is to attend class. We'll see how whether he continues this way,' Alyssa thought to herself.

Aaron smiled at Alyssa's surprised expression. Yup, he was in class. In time too.
'Hey, did you see my costume for the game?!' He asked her excitedly, 'you won and all too!'

Alyssa was actually surprised that Aaron was talking to her. Only she didn't want to talk to him. Mainly because if they were caught talking by the Professor, they would lose house points and she definitely didn't want that to happen. So she smiled over at Aaron, nodded to indicate that she had seen his costume and mouthed,'Thanks' before turning back to face the front.

"Good morning." He had been right about allowing more students to enter before he started.

"Hello Miss Flores." Another nod.

"Hello Miss Cracklesmaw." He said to the wheezing first year.

"Morning." Had she just been running? Wasn't tat against rules and stuff? ...Oh well.

"I'm doing well, thank you for asking." He would return the question but you know..class.

"Hello, welcome."

"Good morning to you, Miss DeCour."

Hiya?...."Hello."

Scabior took another glance at his watch before pulling out his wand and closing the door with a slight movement of his wrist. It was time to start now. "Before we really get into this lesson, who can give me a very brief summary of what we spoke about last class?"

OOC: CLASS HAS STARTED! No more talking. Do not post your character late. Doing so will result in loss of points.

Kurumi shifted in her seat a bit as the lesson began, nodding in Gideon's direction when he entered and smiling once to August. Then Professor Scabior spoke and asked the class a question.

Brief. Got it. She didn't need to be reminded again.

Slowly, her hand went up in the air. "Last lesson we discussed wandlore. How the core, wood, and wand length reflects the witch or wizard that wields it." Which then lead into their final project where they had to come up with a wand for a little person, but she left that out. Two sentences was short, right?

Sky had to search her brain for a minute, but finally found an answer. "We talked about wands and what they say about a wizard…?" she said, not quite sure if she was correct.

Alyssa had to think really hard because all the classes and the things that she had learned seemed to have melded into one. But then she remembered. It had something to do with wands. So Alyssa raised her hand and said, " Professor we learned about wands and how they chose their masters and how the qualities of the core, the wand wood, the length and flexibility of the wand wood was important."

William raised his hand. "We discussed all about wandss" Willaim told the professor.

*pretends this was said earlier* =P

"It was interesting," she agreed happily. "I found that...." Tori tapped her chin as she tried to recall the results of the numbers. "You need to relax more and have some fun and like, spend some money on yourself, I think? It definitely said that you should try out for the performing arts. And Professor Hadley said my numbers were right, so obviously this prediction is accurate..."

Because numbers never lie, duhhhhh.

"Last class," Tori raised her hand eagerly, "we discussed wandlore, wand lengths, how you get a wand length, and wand cores, and what it means if you wand is like, flexible or whatever."

"Professor we talked about wands." Minerva said quickly.

Kennedy listened to what Professor Scabior was saying while he wrote his name on the parchment. He then raised his hand to answer it. "We discussed about wandlore and about the things that contribute to a wand choosing its master," he said, trying to put as simple as he could.

Tiffany raised her hand."Last time we talked about wandlore and how wands chose their master,"she answered, she could just remembered these.

Victoria's hand shot up in the air. "During our last class, we talked about wandlore. The wand's core, wood, length, and how to win the allengiance of one's wand." Victoria replied. It was a really interesting lesson. Which, Victoria hoped that this class will be just as interesting. No boring goblin rebellion, No boring goblin rebellion.

Wow. Scabior was surprised. Kurumi had actually listened when he said brief. "Yup, correct."
"Right." He gave her a slight nod. "Good job."

"That is exactly what it was about. Good job." Points to you and all that.

Well....he did say brief...he just thought there would be a little bit more detail to the answer. "Yes...basically wands." His voice was dry.

Scabior blinked. Was Victoria just pulling his leg or was she being serious about the numbers?....He had to relax huh? He shook whatever she said off and nodded. "Correct."

"That we did." Wands. Wow. He could tell he was really getting to the students.

"Right! Good job to you too." At least no one was confused.

"That and the actually parts that make a wand, yup!"Good job.

"Exactly. Good."

Everyone seemed to be on the right track. So that was good, because although Dash was in a good mood, that did not mean the wanted to re-teach lessons. "Alright, so today's lesson will kind of continue on with the last." But he wasn't going to be talking as much as he was with the last. No, all that talking killed him.

"Who remembers what I told you guys to remember at the end of the last class?" If they didn't remember that was alright too.

Auggie wracked his brains for what the Professor had told them at the end of the last lesson. Did he even remember? The Gryffindor eagerly searched his notes, riffling pages here and there until he found the one with the last classes' date on the header.

....

He found it! After raising his hand Auggie spoke. "Sir you wanted us to think about the saying 'Wands of Elder never prosper," he scanned his handwriting some more. "And to think about its deeper meaning."

Kurumi's hand was back up in the air. See, she could keep her answers short. How about giving back those taken house points, eh? Doubtful, but a Gryffindor could dream, right? "You asked us to think about the meaning of 'wands of elder never prosper,' professor." See, there it was right down at the bottom of her notes from last lesson.

Kourt slowly raised her hand. "You made mention of the saying...Wands of elder never prosper. And that we should think of the deeper meaning behind it and that it would be mentioned again in...well, this lesson."

Phew, his memory seem to be up to date. He raised his hand for the following question as well. "You wanted us to keep in mind about "wands of elder never prosper" and to think of what it means and what the deeper meaning may be," he said, raking his brain for more information.

William raised his hand. " You told ud to remeber something about elser wands and not prospering" Willaim told the professor

Tiffany raised her hand. "You told us to bare remind something like "Wands of elder never prosper" and told us to think more about it."

Tori had to think on this one, for about.... five minutes, and then she raised her hand.

"Wand of elder, never prosper, is what you wanted us to ponder, sir, and what it could meeeeean." She sounded like a seer there. Weird.

Alyssa definitely remembered that part of the lesson. She was actually hoping that the Professor was actually going to talk more about the Elder Wand during that lesson but instead ended the class. She raised her hand and said,"Professor, first you reminded us about the saying that is attached to the Elder wand. 'Wands of Elder, Never prosper. ' Then asked us to think about what we thought the saying meant and whether there was a deeper meaning to it."

Minerva wasn't sure what he had asked the last class, so she started flipping through her notes so see if she could find it.

Last lesson? What did Professor Scabior actually told them at the end of the last lesson? Hmm.. Beatrice piped up her memory retaining machine and there the answer was, at the upper right corner of her notes from last lesson. "Professor, you told us about something like.. Wands of Elder, never Prosper." Okay. So she hadn't really reflected on that one.
