Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. | |

August had entered the History of Magic classroom chipper and continued to get more and more pleased with the class as the lesson progressed but then suddenly when the Apple War broke out and he was beginning to be thrown about the room as if he was a rag doll by the other students as he tried to protect Gryffindor's basket, it made the third year a bit less than happy.
He climbed through the Portrait hole stiffly and then slumped into a chair. Auggie was not a happy camper now.

She pulled her hand through the hair and looked at the length "It wasn't suppose to be this long," she said. "I guess I need a bit more practice. But oh, look now." She tapped her head once more while saying another incantation, and the color changed to a pitch black shade. "This is great, isn't it? She also made us wear clown costumes and use face paint. You would have loved it." She said while laughing.

Selina had to resist the urge to roll her eyes as Adam spoke. Firstly, because it was rude and secondly, because she was so full that it would take too much energy that she did not want to exalt on him. So she just kept her blue eyes focused on the ceiling as he spoke to her.
Then he congratulated her on the team, "Thanks, you too-" but she stopped mid-thought. What had he just said to her? Quidditch would help her keep her mind off of somethings or someone? What was that supposed to mean? Was he referring to Simon? Because he lost the right say anything to her about any of her personal affairs when he didn't speak to her for a year and left her best friend with a broken heart.
This got her attention. She snapped up from her seat on the couch and placed both of her feet firmly on the ground. With dark eyes she said, "What does that bloody mean? Because I know you can't be referring to a certain graduated Gryffindor... because I only talk about my personal life with my friends. And you lost the right to talk to me about anything besides the weather when you did what you did!"
Good job Adam... you got Selina going.
