Jordan was still glowering at Kurumi, but his eyes flickered briefly in maxwell's direction and his head jerked slightly in a nod.

Thea looked up to see somebody standing near her. Smiling, she opened the box. 'Yeah, okay..' She had already played once.. and won, but she could play again..
Standing up, she kicked off her shoes. 'I get competitive mind..' She smiled again. 'I'm Thea..'

Rose skipped into the Common Room and sighed, looking around. She hummed her favourite song; 'I'm walking on sunshine' and danced around the room in her robes. She giggled a lot and spun on the spot. Ja, she was a TAD bit hyper!

Josephine watched as both her friends walked away and looked up at Kurumi "We get it, we were wrong, no need to repeat it" she said glumly and took a book from her bag, hoping her friends would return.

Maxwell came back down the stairs and walked over to Josephine. "I'm going to the Giant Tree House, will You meet Me there?" Maxwell said.

Josephine looked up and stared at Maxwell "Sure, why not" she gathered her things and left the common room.

Kurumi sat and waited for Josephine, or any of the three for that matter, to answer her question about Gryffindors...but that never came. Instead the three went their seperate ways leaving her sitting on the sofa alone.

Erm...well...at least she had made sure that none of them were going to possibly get themselves killed?

Kurumi sighed and leaned back against the sofa. Had she ever thought about doing something completely insane and against the grain? She had, for a fleeting moment, wondered if she could do something to try and sneak into the kitchens to check on the house elves...but had realized that it was beyond what she could do and instead gone to speak to the Headmaster directly. Growing up, she had never been in a situation of power where she even COULD do something out of the ordinary. No...she had always been the nail being pounded back in. She was pretty sure that Jordan hadn't understood the message she was trying to send to him either.

*sigh*

Kurumi looked at her bag, still over at the study tables, and frowned. Maxwell had asked for them to prove themselves - not that they needed to prove anything to her really - but had run off before she could even ask for their help to perhaps lighten the mood.

"I...guess I'll just have to set it up myself," she shrugged with heavy shoulders before walking back over to the study tables.

Adam followed suit,taking his shoes off also.It would be slightly painful,if they fell an hurt each other with the pointed tips of their shoes or get kicked in the jaw by one of them.

"Adam..I'll start it I guess."He shrugged his shoulder an bent down to pick up the color chart,spinning it with one hand the arrow pointed at the red pie shape,an right foot."Right foot,red!"He shouted out,for placing his right foot on a red circle far from him,rather than just standing on a circle closer to him.

"Yes, that's a good idea," William agreed with Anna. "The professors are always right," William told Anna. "Do you ever watch muggle TV?" William asked Anna.

Once she had entered the common room once more, Kourtney made her way to the same corner where she had sat the first time around. Gently removing the puff from her shoulder, she held it in her hands and petted it for a few moments. A humming sound emitted from the small creature, growing louder as she continued to gently stroke it.

Finally, she set it down in front of her and removed the top off of one phial. Just a drop, remember? There needn't be as much used on a creature as needed for a human.

Coaxing the puff to accept the bit of potion from the phial, she watched for a few moments as the liquid disappeared. Now what?

Kourt set the phial down and eyed the creature for a few moments. Nothing seemed to change. The puff simply peered up at her. She tentatively reached forward in an attempt to stroke the soft fur.

Immediately, she creature shriveled up into a ball and rolled away from her. Okay...so it had done that before. It was just playing then.

"C'mon puff..." She murmured, reaching forward again, but again, the puff rolled out of her reach. It was no longer humming. Instead, it sounded almost like a growl that it was making.

So the potion had worked. And now the puff didn't want anything to do with her. Frowning slightly, she sat back on her heels as she watched the creature remain at a standstill. She slowly stood and walked to the other side, getting down on her knees to look at the creature. "Oh come on...you don't have to be like that....have you forgotten all the petting and cuddling?"

Apparently so. With a louder growl-like noise, the puff rolled rapidly away from her. She attempted to follow, but it continued to roll until it ended up under one of the couches.

The first year sighed and dropped to a sitting position, simply watching the puff. The potion would eventually wear off, but until then she'd have to sit and wait...and hope that the effects didn't last long.

About 40 minutes later, and after many attempts at coaxing the puff from underneath the couch, Kourtney straightened up for the umpteenth time. She was getting a little frustrated here and found she didn't care for this hate potion. The puff, initially so playful, was now rather...un-friendly. Each time she reached her fingers under the couch, it would either roll to the other side or make a darting motion towards her fingers. If it had a visible mouth, it very well could bite her.

Finally, after an additional 15 minutes, the puff rolled from beneath the couch. Kourtney simply watched it with a wary eye. Was it still being hateful? Or had the potion worn off?

Hesitantly, she moved towards the puff, bending her knees and lowering her hand. "Are you all better now?" She murmured aloud. "C'mon now...you know me...."

Her fingers brushed soft fur and the puff made a loud squeaking noise. Kourtney nearly laughed in relief. Feeling bolder, she petted the creature once....twice. It remained where it was, as it had before. Would it let her pick it up?

She carefully gathered her fingers underneath the puff and lifted it off the floor. It moved further into her palms and squeaked. YAY! It liked/loved her again!

Jordan was still in a foul mood as he reentered the common room, he noticed Kurumi. He knew he should talk to her, he really should. He walked over to her his anger had slid away slightly. Once he had reached her, he realised he didn't know what he was going to say. "Erm... Hi," he began. "Listen, I'm sorry I acted the way I did, and for walking off like that." now what? "But why were you so disappointed, it's not like we've actually talked about our abilities is it? I have messed up with them so many times, but not once did you say anything." he finished.

Kurumi looked up, her expression neutral and bowed her head toward the first year. "H-Hi," she said meekly, not really knowing what all she should say to him in regards to earlier. Thankfully, he spoke first and a small smile tickled the corners of her lips. "Apology accepted, but only if you forgive me for seeming a bit...harsh. I don't really know how to handle these sorts of situations, but seeing as Gryffindor is already miles behind where we usually are I didn't want more shame to be brought to our house, or for you all to get yourselves hurt."

She scooted over a bit for him to sit down and her eyes widened. "Our abilities?" Since when had there been an our for them? She knew that he could do...well...what she could because he had lost control so many times. "Jordan, do you really think the reason I am upset is because you are not in control of what you are? Do you honestly think that I would want to take away house points from you because your hair might suddenly turn green?" She hoped that he realized the ridiculousness of that statement.

Anna looked at him closely "TV? I've seen much, but in our family prefer a book." She lowered her eyes and smiled. "So I'm not good at this."

He smiled, "I forgive you for that, it was a bit of a stupid idea though." he admitted, "I got caught up in the moment, but you can't blame me... It sounded great."

His smile turned to a slight frown as he sat, "Yes, our abilities. But then again... You haven't actually told me." he looked directly into her violet eyes, the ones that were identical to his. "Are you a metamorph like me?" he asked, his voice just above a whisper.

Thea raised an eyebrow and smiled, also placing her right foot on a red dot. Reaching out her hand, she took her turn twisting the wheel. 'Right hand, blue.' She said. Shuffling slightly, Thea moved her foot.

Skyler walked into the Gryffindor commong room, sitting on a couch near the fireplace. She was new here, so it would be very nice if someone came along to talk to her.

''Hello,I would just like to say that I am sorry for what I said and I hope we can forget everything that I said.

Right hand blue,huh.Adam now put his right hand on the blue circle,half of his bottom now slightly sticking up.He sure hoped Thea wasn't laughing at his body position,because this was just the beginning,things could get messier an funnier the more positions an colors they got themselves into."Alright..Since it might be difficult playing with the actual spinner let's just call out random colors an hand an feet..That way,it's a more fair game in case we fall trying to change up the arrow."He suggested looking at her with a half curved neck."Left foot yellow."He randomly called out.Now he looked like a break dancer,or half a pretzel as his left foot went under his body an only his right hand was on the blue dot.

Ronnie walked into the common room, and noticed Rose dancing around and humming. Ronnie walked up to her and cocked her head. "I'm walking on sunshine, whoooa!" she sang, and started dancing with her.

"It would have been great had it been for a better purpose," she corrected with a slight smile. "It might just be the way I was raised...and everything that happened...but I have never really thought about using my magic for anything other than my studies."

Kurumi's eyes widened as he asked what she knew he had been wanting to ask for a long time. She had been able to avoid the subject for a while now, not even some of her best friends knew about it, and she felt guilty that it seemed like this first year that hardly knew her was going to know her secret before her friends. "I don't like to talk about it," she said shaking her head. "But...yes..."

"Hey Ronnie! Good day I must say, although Im extremely tired. How about you?"Jordan asked, he started to get back with exercising and lifting, he was exhausted! As you could tell from his eyes!

"Yes, I know you love reading," William told Anna. "You ought to come over to my parent's villa and watch a muggle TV show some time with me, my family and Witsy," William said to Anna.

Jordan smiled, "okay, it's just nice to know that there's someone else like me. I'll shut up about it now, we can talk when your ready to," he shrugged. "how are you doing on homeworks?" he asked, veering the topic away from metamorphs.

"Just...don't go around telling people...okay?" she said slightly begging with her eyes. "I don't like that you forced it out of me when some of my best friends don't even know." That thought really sunk in hard and made her heart pound in her chest. She probably shouldn't let it bother herself so much, but when she had been avoiding being labeled for so long and then forced into a box, it made her feel almost like she was back in the school grounds being kicked and mud being forced down her throat.

Hoping that her look told at least a little bit of her story, Kurumi leaned back in her seat when he asked about homework. "I am almost done with all my assignments. I need to do Divination and finish up Muggle Studies...which...I had actually been hoping that you and the other two could help me with, but you all went storming off."
