"Yeah, I like transfiguration. D.A.D.A is less fun than i thought it would be. it seems to be a very serious class." Maxwell said as if all the fun had been drained out of the room.

Maxwell had a big crooked smile on his face. "Come on We both know You wanna talk about it. You forget I can read Your emotions in Your eyes." He said with a wink.

" Very interesting" William agreed with Willow. " Yes, I am in Transfiguration class" William told Willow." Lots of choices" William said to Willow. " The treehouse sounds like a plan" William explained to Willow.

"What? Professor Glass actually did that?" Pixxi smailed faltered for the first time in the conversation. Pixxi wasn't sure if she liked this Professor very much.

Pixxi waved her hand impatiently, "Well, at least the other Professor's are good. I really like Professor Magnus in Transfigurations. But then again, Transfigurations is my favorite subject," Pixxi wondered if the Professor's could feel it if some of the students liked the class more. Kind of like a dog knows if you're scared of it.

Jordan smiled, "I find it more disrespectful. Like, we are their children. Their flesh and blood. But they continue to not accept us for who we are!" he thought that made sense, he tried not to think about his family, though everynight his mind replays that first beating. That was the worst one.

Sage crawled through the door of the Gryffindor common room at took a look around. Everyone seemed to be caught up in their own conversations so Sage quietly walked over to a empty chair near the fireplace and brought her knees into her chest. She starred into the fire and started day dreaming....

Aw, he really was sweet to put up with her. To talk to her... give this kid a medal! "Huh, well I'm quite good at talking. That's what me sister always said." she laughed. Not that she'd done much lately because of the argument.

"Yeah it is quite violent..." That was an understatement alright. "But she got kicked off because basically the captain needed a reason too. I don't think they liked each other very much, then she 'accidently' punched him and there it was." Yeah, accidently was the key word here. "It's not very violent here. If you ever see the quidditch world cup..." she shook her head. That was a violent sport.

She laughed again. She'd hadn't laughed this much in ages! "Haha totally. She thought I'd cheated on my homework. Which I hadn't. She just coudn't accept that I knew a lot about history." She had written 3 more pages than she'd needed to... but most people would have been impressed with that!

Emily looked at him and smiled. "So you just need to learn to focus your magic?" she asked. There were teachers who could help him with that... she though. She hadn't really asked them. "If you need any help you can always ask me you know. It'd be fun!" For her at least. As long as she wasn't accidently blown up.

Ryan walked over to a girl sitting near the fireplace.''Hello'' Ryan said.''Do you mind if I start a conversation with you''hoping she wouldn't leave.

" I have seen you around HogWarts" William told the girl. " I have seen you trying out and doing good at the Gryffindor tryouts" William said to the girl." So what is your name?" William asked her. " My name is William Montcenaggio aka William Starr" he introduced himself to her.

Sage jumped slightly as a voice dragged her out of her trance. She looked to her left and saw a first year, just like herself. Sage smiled warmly at him and staightened up a bit in her chair.

"I don't mind at all! My name is Sage," She said reaching over to hold out her hand. She didn't want to seem rude! "Have we met before? Sorry if we have, so much has happened these past few days it's hard to remember..."

Sage snapped her head up to see an older boy. She had also seen him around Hogwarts and at the Quidditch tryouts, too.

"I've seen you at the tryouts also, you're quite good by the way," Sage said, "My name is Sage, it's nice to meet you! If you don't mind me asking, but why are you called William Starr?"

Josephine raised her eyebrows "I know I don't wanna talk about it, it will make me look ridiculous, even more than now" she said, and looked to her side "I'll tell you about it when I tell you my answer about what I said to my brother" she assured him with a smile "And I will answer you at the end of the term"

Nessie nodded eagerly. "Yeah, on the very first day. Some of the students were talking when she came in and she took points from the houses. I've never had Professor Mangus before what is she like?"

Ronnie walked into the common room, and headed for a chair. She sat down and looked at the fire, wondering if any of her friends were around.

After a long, and hard working day at Hogwarts, Jordan decided to relax a little after three long classes.He liked relaxing in one place, and no other was like it, in Gryffindor's Finest, common room. After walking in, he could see the fire place settled and lit. He sighted two cushy, and comfortable couches, which he loved, and wished they were his own. And to feel the fire, was like falling into Wizard heaven. After walking around a bit and cleaning off his face, he noticed one of his best friends Ronnie, sitting in one of the couches by the fireplace. "Hey, Ronnie. How are you?" Jordan asked, rolling up his sleeve, as he had been cold all day, but now he was starting to warm up a bit with the fire close to him. He couldn't wait to just sit back, read the paper, and socialize with his fellow Housemates.

Selina stumbled into the Gryffindor Common Room exhausted. She had just eaten her weight in red velvet cake down in the Great Hall. News had broken out that she favorite desert, red velvet, was going to be served at dinner tonight so Selina ate nothing all day, which was a miracle for Selina who was always eating way more than a girl her size and age should. However, it was all worth it when the delicious 9 and a half pieces of red velvet cake passed through her system. It was glorious thing.

So she curled up on the couch and held her stomach that had the smallest sign of a bump. Selina was really skinny... how she packed in all of the food she always did was a mystery.

Maxwell smiled at the thought of Josie thinking herself ridiculous. "Alright I'll wait. Not that I have much of a choice." He said with another smile. "I don't mind waiting, I'm sure it'll be worth it."

" I am just ok" William told Sage. " Nice to meet you, too" William said to Sage." I will make a long story short, but my father starred in muggle sports baseball, football, he was a muggle pro wrestler in the WWE, win many titles and played Quidditch for The Chudley Cannons helping them win two championships" William explained to Sage. " So the name was changed to Starr, two r's because he starred in all those sports" William smile." You did a great job in tryouts, too" William smiled again.

" You did a great job in the Quidditch tryouts" William told Selina. " I bet you make the team" William said to Selina. " I will be lucky to make the reserves" William expalined to Selina.

He saw her jump at his surprise and he felt ashamed of himself, although he didn't let it on. This was the sort of thing that Cherry had warned about, when he never listened to her and when he never bothered reading books. He tried to make the connection in his head, hmm, the Golden Trio .. . But wait, he knew who they were, but then what's this story of a dragon? He'd never heard it, yep, he was positive that it was news to him that the Golden Trio escaped on a dragon. And woah, escaping on a dragon?!? No wonder they were called Golden! "I know who they are, but I've never heard of this dragon incident. " He answered her, smiling at her barely contained giggles. At least he made her laugh.


Oh right! Charles hadn't talked about himself, YET. And he hadn't noticed, because he was sincerely interested in what she had to say! Not that he didnt' like to listen to people, but it was rarely that he listened to someone he barely knew! This girl definitely had some charm about her, Charles thought. But then she asked him about his favourite magical creature, and he burst out laughing at that. Her question had reminded him of something that had happened in third year, when his sister Cherry and him had shared a care of magical creatures class. He realised that he might be creeping Kurumi, laughing like this out of nowhere and he stifled his laughter and looked at her apologetically. "You're question reminded me of something really funny that happened in third year, " He explained his sudden outburst of laughter and grinned reminisciently.

"Sometimes...they have a good reason for it," she said softly. "It's....it's important to remember that they don't always do it because of you. Sometimes...there is some outside motive that causes them to think and do what they do." And Kurumi was still figuring out the pieces to the puzzle that was her family. "Fear can be a terrible thing...makes people do horrible things to one another."

"You don't read much, do you?" she teased playfully. Then again, there were few who had read A History of Magic cover to cover, especially the latest release of the text that might as well have been three encyclopedias glued together. "It was a pivotal moment in their quest to defeating Voldemort. Then again, I might be biased." There had been a dragon involved after all. Really though, between the dragon and Dobby the Free Elf, Kurumi could probably give a lecture that would last all day. Most of her audience would probably fall asleep though, but at least she would be entertained, right?

Kurumi's eyes widened and she looked at Charles. Had she said something to cause his laughter or was this some weird way of teasing her for babbling on and on about dragons? But then he explained herself and her jaw closed again. "You know you can't laugh like that and then not tell me what happened," she smiled.

"Yes, there are quite well." She said sending a lock of hair, which was exhausted by her ear that made ringing bracelets on her fragile thin hand.

Emma laughed, he really was as bad as she was! "Yes, drawing counts." She said nodding. "That's a nice hobby. Are you any good?"
"Well I dance. My mom started teaching me ballet when I was five. And I sing... Badly" She added quickly. That was a stupid thing to say. What if he wanted her to start singing in the middle of the common room!?

"Really? Well that isn't such a surprise, I've always known girls are better! Emma joked.
"I'm not sure." She added thoughtfully. "Maybe like grindylows and stuff? Or is that more DADA?" She had no idea really...

"Stomach Ache?"Adam asked rather catiously standing in front of Selina,but not so close she was at punching,slapping,or kicking him down to the floor range.He knew it was risky,with Selina especially to even dare try an be within 3 miles of her.At the moment he was practically begging for death this very second.He could imagine her response a slow,death glare.

" I like your bracelts" William told Anna. " Congratulstions to everyone who madr the Quidditch team this term" William called out. Wo;;oam left for the boy's dorm.

"Yeah, girls rock!" Willow laughed. "Hmm. I think grindylows are more DADA." she frowned. "Maybe things along the lines of blast-ended skrewts!" Willow shuddered at the thought of looking after those! She'd heard they were quite a handful!



"How fun was that lesson! I changed my hair bright pink!" Willow laughed. "Maybe I could practice on you! How do you feel about green hair?" she joked.
"Sweet! When shall we go?"

Rubiey crawled through the portrait hole and breathed a sigh of relief as she straightened up, brushing her skirt down and glancing around. After a year away, Rubiey had feared everything would have changed somehow, but as her green eyes roamed the room, it was evident everything was exactly the same as it had been when she left after her second year.

Rubiey, however, had changed rather a lot since she had walked out of that portrait hole just shy of two years ago. Gone was the red hair and cute, shy smile; in its place were long brown locks and a face hardened by the sights she had seen over the past year. But her bright green eyes were the same, darting around the red common room and hoping to spot one of her friends. She had so much to tell them it was unreal, but she let out a soft sigh as she failed to see them.

Rubiey slumped into one of the comfy armchair sofas in front the fire with a small smile erupting over her features. "If my friends aren't here, I'll wait for them to turn up." she thought firmly, staring into the dying embers of the fire and thanking Merlin she was back at Hogwarts.
