Josephine smiled and blushed "Thank you, and you're welcome" she giggled, and closed her eyes, to treasure this moment forever, then sat down again "I was pretty nervous, the lyrics have some french too, like Histoire and La clef a verite"

Adam chuckled. "Sounds like a deal to me!" Adam wasn't really a fan of cockroaches either...there was just something about them that made his skin crawl...not to mention from what he had heard it was quite difficult to get rid of a cockroach...they were resilient little buggers. He gave a little nod as Kurumi mentioned that there were strict rules about hurting Professors. "Well I certainly don't want to cost Gryffindor any house points, so our little plan will have to wait. Although if she is scaring you during class you could always picture her with a pumpkin on her head or something," Adam said with a little chuckle. Personally that had always worked well for him...it made the person seem less frightening.

At Kurumi's next statement though Adam couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in shock. "She removed your bones?" Adam said, figuring that in truth he wouldn't stand a chance against Professor Lafay. "What did she do that for? Were you guys making a re-growth potion or something?" Adam knew they had made one at one of his other schools, but they hadn't actually had their bones removed in order to test it or anything...although somehow the professor had tested whether or not they worked in order to give them a grade. "I imagine having no bones must have been an awkward sensation..."

Adam gave a little nod to Kurumi's comment. "Oh he's healthy alright...but he doesn't seem to be growing at all which is kind of odd. I got him about a month ago and he hasn't grown...I always thought that labs grew quickly." Adam looked down at JB who was surveying the common room appreciatively.

Friends? Yeah. That were nice wozn't it? Tom had never really had a proper friend before. He nodded his head and smiled slightly. But his expression became serious again when she explained the situation.

Well that wasn't much of a friend in Tom's opinion. “I fought she'd be pleased if you woz stayin'.” He replied, then shrugged. “It dun' seem tha' bad to me. If you two are friends I'm sure you can sort it out.” He looked away from Emily as she played with the hole in her shirt. Tom really wasn't the best person to be giving the girl advice.

Her sister was kicked off the team? “Did she 'it someone wiff one of them bat fings?” Tom asked, doing the action with his hands of clunking someone on the head with his his invisible bat. Then he fell silent. Talk about himself? He wasn't very good at that.

“Um..” He scratched the back of his head. “I dunno wot tah say really. Me life's been pretty normal until I got me lettah to 'Ogwarts a few mumffs back. They knew I woz maagick cos I got angry an' blew up the telly.. then anovvah time I blew up the microwave. Insurance people said they'd been blown up on purpose so we got noffin' from them. An' I woz graanded for a blaady week!” He scowled. It wasn't HIS fault, was it?

And clearly Tom needed to develop his social skills. :/


The older boy sat up but Tom didn't budge from the spot he was standing. Arms crossed and jaw clenched defiantly, he was determined to get his apology. He scowled when he heard his words. Though Josh did have a point.. but he was sort of asking for confrontation with his attitude. Or, at least, Tom thought so. “If frets are frown 'bou' like you own the blaady place, people ain' gonna be nice tah yer.” He retorted in his thick accent. He glanced over at the prefect when he heard her squeak and frowned. Wasn't she gonna say noffin' to this prat?

He looked back at Josh, his eyes widening momentarily at the idea of fighting an older boy who KNEW how to cast, then he shook his head. “No fight. Just an 'pology. For frowin' yer robes at me.” It seemed pretty straight forward to the young and angry Thomas.

When asked his name, he looked at the floor, uncrossed his arms and shoved them in his pockets, his body language relaxing a little when it seemed he wasn't going to get belted or shouted at. “Broadmoor.” He repled with a little shrug. “Tom Broadmoor... Buh everyone calls me Broadmoor back 'ome.”

"She's a great owl... from what I know of them. I never had an owl." Maxwell laughed because he felt a little silly. then listening to Josephine He said "Yes, She's wonderful."

Shocked that He hadn't made the moment awkward Maxwell took a moment to take a mental picture to save it in his memory forever in His own way. "There's no need to be nervous when You sing. You do it perfectly, Josie. I loved it." Then Maxwell remembered his trip to Professor Magnus' Office. "Oh, Josie I forgot to tell you I went to see Professor Magnus about becoming an animagus and she gave me all these books to study, but said the actual magic was too much for Me at the moment." He pulled a large old smelling book and a new-er looking book out from next to Him. "Oh and i made a random slytherin girl cry, then we became friends." He said with a puzzled smile.

" We are making ourselves up to look like clowns in Transfiguration class" William explained to Anna. " I really enjoy having lots of fun" William told Anna, "What dod yo udo for fun?" William asked Anna.

Jordan laughed, "You may not have an owl, but you've got a pheonix" his hair flashed red in approval. He laughed again, this time at the blush, the story of the crying girl and how at ease he was at Hogwarts when he was worrying about Hogwarts for ages. "You big bully!" he smirked accusingly, "Ooh, animagus stuff! Well its your lucky day Maxwell, because if you stick by me and you'll become an animagus one day, no problem!" he laughed.

Carter ran a hand through his hair and nodded. "As far in the past as Hogwarts allowed." Which, wasn't as far as he would have preferred. Everyone seemed to have a perfect memory when it came to such things.

He chuckled. "Come on, being single can't be all that bad. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there to fancy."

Maybe Rafe would be free of the blonde Slytherin curse that had befallen Carter.

Ah, the complicated world that was her! She shrugged and looked back up. "You're probably right. Sorry to bore you with all this." Though he had asked. She stood up and stretched, then sat back down. Mabye she should get to bed soon.

She laughed as he mimed getting hit, then quickly covered her mouth still grinning. "Actually no. She was a chaser. She puched a team mate with her good old-fashioned fist." Ah, that story always made her laugh. In fact, she might owl her sister just to hear the story again.

"You blew a TV up?!" she laughed, her eyes wide with amusment. That was as bad as when her sister set the garden fence on fire. "When my powers came in I turned my teachers hair green." It wasn't her fault... really. It had only happened when she was angry.
"Ah, well that's not fair!" she said about him being grounded "When your powers come in you carn't control them. Not like you did it on purpose." Though it would have been amusing to see.

"Right, that makes two of us." Emma scowled into thin air. She couldn't believe someone would take off points just for something as silly as chatting. She'd have to watch herself in DADA...
Smiling again Emma thought about the other classes. "Yes, COMC does seem nice" Thought honestly she was slightly worried. Seeing Willow's puzzled features she elaborated. "Well I do love animals, but I just hope the creatures we get aren't to dangerous. I mean, as long as we stick to cats I'll be fine." She joked. Talking about cats, Emma wondered where Cotton had got to, then realized she was probably hunting mice somewhere.
"Do you have any other pets at home?"

Emma smiled warmly at him. It was so nice of him to be so thoughtful. Thinking about sleep however her brain wondered off to a distant memory and she giggled. Chris was looking at her as if she was slightly loony, so she tried -through fits of renewed giggles - to explain herself. "My sister and I once decided that it would be a brilliant idea to stay up all night so we could congratulate each other when it finally was our birthday, we share the same day you see. Well anyway, we managed to say up all night, but by the time we sat down for cake the following day" She collapsed into giggles again for a few moments. "We were so tired we both fell asleep while we were supposed to be eating it and got completely covered! I hardly remember anything about that birthday. We ended up celebrating it the next day because we couldn't stay awake long enough to open our presents! Getting her breathing back to normal again Emma said. "Sorry about that. Sometimes something just reminds me of something funny and I can't help myself." Good one Emma, she told herself annoyed. He probably thinks you're completely mad now...

Anna laughed again. "This is absolutely true! Sometimes we just look like these!" She smiled and said "I honestly don't know. I just talk with friends, jokin, I'm not very good at this." She took a deep breath and lowered her eyes, her eyelashes "I mean, just when I find it funny and fun I laugh."

Josephine smiled and blushed now a bright red "Thank you" she listened to him for a while "Okay, I'll have to check them, I'm a fast-reader so I will be able to read them in a matter of weeks" she listened about the girl "And who is she?" she asked with a tiny hint of jealousy on her voice.

"Helios, is pretty cool but he starts to get really gross every couple of months." Maxwell laughed at this. "All right! that's my goal, although what if i turn into a toad or something?" He laughed at his own joke.

"I'll take all the help i can get, Josie." He said with a large smile. "Her name's Ariana Logan, a first year slytherin and a pureblood. We had a small fight cause she called my a muggleborn, but she wasn't trying to be rude and then We became friends and i was trying to convince her to have some fun and not worry about winning so much. I don't think it worked." Maxwell laughed. "You seem a little bothered about Me speaking with her. Is it because she's a slytherin?" Maxwell said not noticing jealousy when he saw it.

"I would be quite gutted if I put all that effort in and then turned into a toad!" Jordan laughed, "I still don't know what I'd turn into though!" He caught the slight jealousy in Josephines voice, but he'd let them two sort it out.

"I'm not sure what I'll be although I know one can't choose, it's a reflection of Your inner nature." Maxwell said wondering what his inner nature was like.

"That is pretty funny," Chris said while smiling at Emma. "That happens to me pretty often too, people usually think I'm weird wehn I do that..." Chris was rather surprised that he told her that, but it was just so easy to be open with Emma, he felt he could tell her anything, and she wouldn't tell anybody else if he didn't want her to...

Josephine smiled "What? No! I have friends in Slytherin!" she said and covered her eyes with her bangs "I-no-what-uh... doesn't matter, it's good that you could become friends with her! I mean you don't have to know only Gryffindors of course" she rambled "It's not like I'm prejudiced! My grandpa was a Slytherin! And my dad was a Ravenclaw" she said, when she showed her eyes again they were olive-green.

" Yes, we look like clowns once in awhile" William agreed with Anna. " Talking with friends is a fun activity" William said to Anna." I understand what you mean about fun and funny" William told Anna. " I have fun swimming at the lake, the pond, hanging out with friends, climbong the treehouse and just spacing out" William explained to Anna.

Joseph walked up to Maxwell "You wanna be an animagus? Me too!" he said, his eyes the same teal tone as his sister's "Sorry for interrupting, I heard my sister singing and thought she would be torturing you, I came to help" he dodged a punch Josephine had aimed at him but wasn't so lucky with her shin-kick.

"Do you have any pets of your own?" Sage asked, all she had ever owned was and owl and that was about all, I love Charms or Transfiguration!

Josephine glared at her brother "Torturing?! How dare you! Everyone says my singing is pure and flawless! Not like your painting! Those scribbles you like to make!" she glared at him.

"You can study with me!" Maxwell said. "She's not torturing Me at all, I love her singing."

"I'm sorry did I upset You? I didn't mean to. No matter who I'm friends with You're my best friend, Josie." He said smiling and holding her hand. "Now turn those eyes teal again!"

Josephine smiled, her eyes turning to a light teal again, she giggled at how they seemed to obey his commands "You're my best friend too Max! And don't worry, is just that... nothing" she hugged him to cover what had slipped.

I walked into the common room after a long day of classes and plopped down on a couch. Suddenly, I felt something wiggle under me and then a sharp pain on my bottom! "AAAAAACCCCKKK!!!!" I yelled when I jumped up from the couch. I looked back down at the couch to see there was a fat gray rat, now happily sleeping. Stupid rat!

"Hi, I'm Matthew, first year." he said, reckoning the boy was also first year. :dobdance:

A pumpkin on top of Professor Lafay's head...now THAT certainly was a sight that she wouldn't mind seeing. Kurumi began to giggle almost uncontrollably at the mere thought. Wasn't it usually that you should picture people in a chicken suit? Kurumi had often heard that from one of her brothers. Junichiro was always having to give important speeches in the gaming industry, so he had more than a few tricks up his sleeve about how to get over ones jitters. "I'll try to keep that in mind," she nodded once she had contained herself enough to speak. "Thank you, for that. I think I might be able to go to potions now and not want to blend in with my own seat."

Kurumi nodded. "Just one in my arm. She did so to several other students as well," she explained with another small shiver. "We were brewing Bone Regeneration potions that day, and I think I said something to upset her and she called me up to the front...as a volunteer." Kurumi frowned a bit. Oh, wait, think of her with a pumpkin on her head. Dragon Lady would now become Pumpkin Head Dragon Lady. "The worst part was actually after drinking the potion. I felt so sick and I actually fainted in class. It was...embarrassing..."

Kurumi smiled and then leaned down, offering her hand for the adorable little puppy to smell. "Well, he is adorable," she chirped. And hopefully Walnut wasn't anywhere near here. She could only imagine what sort of chaos would ensue if the self proclaimed King of the Gryffindors showed up.
Kurumi squirmed a bit more in her seat as the situation around her somewhat fizzled. At least the boy who spoke funny didn't want a fight, so that was something. Now if Josh would just take a deep breath then this would all be over and she wouldn't have to do anything.

Then, an idea popped into her mind. "J-J-Josh, since I am your manager...um...I think it would be good...publicity if you would apologize. After all, your robes did hit him, even if it was an accident. I am sure you would want one if the situation was reversed." Right? We could all be mature about this. Hopefully.

And then the introductions began. Good good, introductions were good. Kurumi wasn't sure where Ome was, but she had never really been the best at geography anyway. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry," she said with a slight head bow. Not Pretty Prefect Princess or whatever it was that Josh had just called her.
