The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through.
"Carriwitchet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby.
"I know. Thank you for your support." Anna smiled. "I hope it will be so."
"The differences are always there, but believe me it is better friends than your family you'll never find." Anna smiled at the girl. "They'll never betray and will not leave in trouble."
" Glad I can be of help" Willaim told Anna. " I should be able to be in the same flying class with you" William said to Anna. "What do you think of Chwrms class?" William asked Anna.
" Glad I can be of help" Willaim told Anna. " I should be able to be in the same flying class with you" William said to Anna. "What do you think of Chwrms class?" William asked Anna.
"Agreed!" Anna Said with a laugh. "The spell of a great subject. And the teacher is very good. But the students Slytherin lost so many points!" Her face reflected a nuisance. "Although we had been warned that must not be late. I'm just sorry for them"
"Yeah I ok just missing my uncle is all. What is the whole thing about Quidditch? I saw the shop the Diagon Alley so I know it has brooms but thats all I know." Ivan looked at the calender and saw that it was the day for Charms class.
"She is a spotted owl. I found her when I was nine, I think, and she was hurt real bad. I fixed her up tried to let her go but she had gotten attacked by then. So now she is a good companion." Ivan started to think about her good friend Moon.
"I'm sure you will feel better soon! Let me know if there is anything I can do!" Elsie felt bad for him but knew there was probably nothing she could do to help, apart from just being nice. Home sickness was hard to cure. "You don't know what Quidditch is?" Elsie surprisingly exclaimed once she realised what he had said "You have been missing out!"
Elsie scooted in closer to him, now with a sense of purpose, to explain everything about quidditch. "Yeah you ride on broomsticks. So there are seven people on a quidditch team, three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and one Seeker, and seeker is absolutely the coolest position, but also the hardest, but anyway there are three rings and the chasers try to put the quaffle through the hoops to score points, while the seeker tries to keep the quaffle, and the beaters try to keep the bludgers at bay and the seeker is always just looking for the Golden Snitch." Elsie explained very quickly, out of breath at the end.
"They are Haribo, muggle sweets." Ella said. "My mum told me to bring them to share with my friends." Ella was now sort of wishing that her mum hadn't because the sweets were obviously really strange to her new friends. She thought whilst bringing her knees up to her chest.
Putting the sweet in her mouth, Willow got a great surprise! "Oh my Wizard God! These are delicious!" she said grinning at Ella. "Your mum's a smart lady! What does she do if I may ask?"
"The third" she grinned "January is such a pretty month, with the snow and everything" she smiled.
Maxwell looked a little sad. "Yes, but I'll be here for it." Which Maxwell thought about and He smiled. "But that's not all bad, Hogwarts is great. I'll just miss my family, mainly My Mum. But i'm sure We'll have fun here for My birthday."
Transfiguration training room next? Short and lame, sorry...

He is an example of one of the elves that popped in and out of Hogwarts during when Harry Potter was a student here." So, perhaps house elves were more powerful than witches and wizards on some fronts, but they also possessed powers that the elves didn't. Still...something was off. "It's not a matter of whose's idea it was," Kurumi said shaking her head. "If you are concerned you should go and speak with him too." Kurumi actually had him penciled into her schedule for later that day.
"I had my first caramel apple at the carnival!" Kurumi chirped. It was funny how many things were still out there waiting to be discovered and tasted. "I feel like I had pizza for the first time when I had it in New York. Nothing like I have ever had before. It was brilliant." She looked at Ari for a moment. "You probably wouldn't really fancy Japanese pizza. Many of them include mayonnaise or corn on them. Mother refuses to buy it, so my brothers would order it whenever she wasn't home." Which had resulted in more than a few mix up including each of her three brothers ordering a large pizza each think that the other hadn't ordered yet.
"Father seems to enjoy it," she replied with a shrug. As long as her father was happy she was happy.
"Of course! I was actually thinking about heading down there soon...but I need someone to help me carry my trunk," she replied looking at the younger girl with an innocent puppy dog face. She even batted her eyelashes for extra emphasis.
Dobby? Nope, she had no idea who Dobby was. Ariadne had read extensively about the time when Harry Potter had attended Hogwarts, but she paid more attention to the information on witches and wizards, and not so much other magical beings. 'I see. I haven't heard of Dobby before, but I'll go check at the library.' Ari was afraid she might seem ignorant, so it was better to change the subject and make a mental note to do some research later.'Okay, I will go too, see if he tells me the same thing he tells you.' the young girl nodded.
'I've never had caramel apple. I miss up on many delicious food products, since my mum is such a terrible cook.' Ari laughed, remembering her mother's experiments in the kitchen, which looked more like Alchemy than cooking. 'Mayonnaise? Yuck! I definitely wouldn't like that on a pizza. But corn doesn't sound that bad...' All this talk about food made her suddenly hungry.
Ari got the hint:'Sure, I'll help with the trunk whenever you're ready to go.' The second year prayed it wouldn't be too heavy, since she couldn't really be trusted not to drop things.
" Oh, not getting ready, sorry" William told Vanessa. " Yes. I do read too, but not as much as I should read" William explained to Vanessa." Potions is a great class" Willaim smiled. " Nice to meet you Vanesa" William smiled again. " Last term, my favorite classes were Herbalogy and Ancinet Runes. but I am not sure about this term" William said to Vanessa..
"Herbology is okay but it's kinda dirty. Ancient Runes is cool though. It's like a secret code that you have with these ancient people. Like they were writing just for you." She smiled a little to herself. In the one year she attended Beauxbatons she realized that it wasnt that popular there and she used it to write things that were notes. It was fun being able to mess with teachers. The other students thought that she was weird though. That was always her one downfall. She was a bit of an outcast.
"Yes, I do like them!" Sage said nodding her head,"So if your parents are muggles, what kind of muggle jobs do they have?"
She had no idea what kind of jobs muggles had, but she did know that her Muggle Grandad worked as a technician, whatever that was?
"Well my mum is a teacher and my dad is an archaeologist. What about your parents?" Ella asked. What sort of job does a witch or wizard do? Well of course they have teachers and shop keepers but they must have other jobs available.

"She works in a muggle school as a teacher. I am muggleborn you see." Ella said smiling. She was proud of being muggleborn despite what some people may think about muggleborns; She was sure that Willow wasn't one of those people though.

"I'll have to keep that in mind about Professor Lafey. Are there any teachers i should look out for in the event i go out past curfew? like on an adventure?" Maxwell said with mischief and adventure in his eyes.
Emily eyed him with a smile on her face. "I don't know. I don't go out past curfew. Your not planning to are you?" He better not, he could lose house points! "There are plently of adventures to have at Hogwarts during the day time." No need to go out past curfew. "Do you prefer Max or Maxwell?" she asked plesently.

So Emily and her mate had had a MASSIVE humdinger of an argument by the sounds of it. Surely if they were REALLY mates they could put it behind them. “...Wot 'appened?” Tom asked in a hushed tone. “If you dun' mind me askin'.”
He shrugged off her thanks. Lets face it, Tom needed to make friends here too. And he wasn't managing it very successfully so far, was he?. Quidditch? Yeah. He'd heard a little about Quidditch. And something about distant distantdistantdistantdistant family members playing it. “The flyin' sport?” he asked her curiously. “Do you play?”
She paused at she thought about this. He probably woudn't understand, but there would be no harm in telling him. "No, it's fine. We're friends arn't we?" And friends would understand. Nika didn't. "Um, you see last year I was supposed to be moving to France and so moving schools." She wasn't gonna say why though. "Anyway we didn't speak for the end of last year, and I hid in the library most of the time. Then I... found out I didn't have to go anymore." Again she wasn't gonna say why. "But she didn't believe me. Then during the summer we ran into each other in diagon alley and had a huge argument about it. We called each other names and everything, and..." she fell silent and started tuggon on the hole on her shirt again. She really did not like thinking about it.
She shook her head. "No, but my sister loves it. She was on the team when she was here, but was kicked off after a year." She grinned a bit at this thinking of that story. "I carn't fly a broom to save my life!" It wasn't something you could learn from a book, and she failed at it so badly. "Anyway, enough about me. Tell me something about you!" She had been talking about herself for ages, something she never did, and she didn't want him to get the wrong impression.

Maxwell thought about it and felt she might not be one to be completely honest with. "Well, no. Just curious." he said with a smile trying his hardest to seem honest. "It doesn't matter to me. Maxwell is fine and so is Max."
Maxwell looked a little sad. "Yes, but I'll be here for it." Which Maxwell thought about and He smiled. "But that's not all bad, Hogwarts is great. I'll just miss my family, mainly My Mum. But i'm sure We'll have fun here for My birthday."
Josephine smiled and placed her hands in the corners of her mouth "SMILE!" she said giggling "I miss my family too, but we can't get sucked into it, we need to show them we're smart and brave" she stated, her eyes flickering from teal to emerald green.

Her smiling made Him do the same. "I'll be happy. but You have to as well, and i'll know if You're not. Your eyes will tell Me." He said in a very sly tone of voice.
Septimus drifted into the Gryffindor common room, his sharp gray eyes flicking from lion to lion. He was reminded vaguely of himself as he eyed a group of bashful first years. He saw some new prefects walking with a new spring in their steps. He saw a few familiar faces and thought of saying 'hello,' but instead made a beeline for his favorite couch. He started doodling in his notebook some more. He was almost out of pages, so he made a mental note to get another notebook.
Her smiling made Him do the same. "I'll be happy. but You have to as well, and i'll know if You're not. Your eyes will tell Me." He said in a very sly tone of voice.
Josephine snapped her fingers "Laplace's tapshoes, I shouldn't had told you about them" she blinked a few times and when she opened her eyes again they were color emerald green "I need to control it!"

Maxwell smiled. "I like that I can see how You feel. It tells Me when I need to try and make You happy." Maxwell said hoping to see that teal color again.

Josephine blushed "Thank you, I will try to make you happy aswell!" she giggled and leaned against him "What's your favorite color?" she asked.

" You are right, you must get your hands dirty in Herbalogy" William told Vanessa." Ancient Runes has a lot of secret codes from a lot of sifferent countries 'William said to Vanessa. "Do you like Muggle Studies?" William asked Vanessa.

Elsie explained very quickly, out of breath at the end.
"Sounds cool can't wait to see a match. Please tell me more about this game." Ivan looked at Elsie wanting to listen more intently to what see was saying.

He laughed and looked in her eyes "Green." He answered not only because he was distracted with her constant eye color change but also because it was true.

Josephine formed an 'o' with her lips "That's my favorite color too!" she smiled "Do you like chocolate frogs?" she asked, seaching in her handbag.

Maxwell had a big smile on his face at the mention of chocolate frogs. "I love them!" Maxwell watched as Josephine went through her things. "So I'm looking into becoming an Animagus." He said wondering what her reaction would be.

Maxwell was happy with Her reaction. "I'm not sure, but i don't think you get to pick. From what I've read it seems like it's a reflection of the animagus' true nature and is most likely the same as one's patronus. But I'm not sure how long it will take Me to learn it. It's difficult magic."
