"Second base, then third base" Presley replied. She skipped back to home plate. "This is my amazing triple first" she grinned. She pretended to swing a bat, and watch it go far out into the field, before taking off and tearing toward third base. She skidded onto the base, barely staying on her feet. It this jacket, she would be dead meat if she fell. "Whoa!" she said, maintaining her balance. "Sorry. I didn't realize how hard it was to stop!" she laughed, of course she would almost fall. That was just such a Presley move that it was ridiculous.

Nika nodded as it all came back to her... well sorta. "Yeah it sounds familiar!" She said as she put her left hand where it was supposed to go. She put her legs slightly apart and double checked to make sure she was in the correct stance. "Let's waltz." She told him with a smile.

Nodding and doing her best to hide the pain in her eyes, Kurumi turned her back to Connor. Why did things always have to be so complicated? Couldn't she have a reasonably normal term at Hogwarts? Probably not. She had a better chance of getting struck by lightening. "Take all the time you need," she said softly. "That's all I ask of you."

Kurumi was glad that she wasn't the only person confused by William's statement. "Oh...right...y-y-you meant like dating, right?" she squeaked as her cheeks flushed a deep pink. Leave it to her to know less about relationships than a first year. No real surprise there though. "I have not," she said shaking her head and turning her violet gaze towards Rose. "W-What happened?"

" Very good" William told Presley."Well, you went the wrong way" Wiliam laughed. " You have to touch first base first, then secons base, then thirs base for your triple and for a homerun a;; the bases plus home plate" William explained to Presley. " I qill need to teach you how to slide, not skid" William said to Presley. " Now where would you stand when you are batting.? Wiliam asked Presley, On home plate or somewhere else?" William asked Presley.


" Glad, I know you would remember the Waltz" William told Nika." I am ready to Waltz" Wiliam said to Nika." You are really good" Wiliam told Nika. William and Mika glided across the grass." We did it, you have done yoru homework" William smiled at Nika.

" Yes, I meant dating" William told Kurumi."Well I will let Rose tell you her news, hopefully she considers it good news" William said to Kurumi. " I am glad we are talking and sorry Rex did not talk to you much" William explained to Kurumi.

Dating...could she please break out in hives now? If there was anything that made her feel more awkward than being on a broom it was dating - especially right now since she was still dealing with the emotions of being left behind by Adam and Connor appearing out of no where almost like a prince on a white horse.

Kurumi managed to hear the last of William's response and she smiled. "It's alright," Kurumi smiled. "I-I am partly to blame for that. Older students really intimidated me when I was a first year. My second year I got to know more of them, and many of them have become like big brothers and sisters to me. I'm afraid that they were not good friends with Rex, so we didn't get to meet often."

Rose was walking by as she caught this tidbit of the conversation. 'Yeah, it was complicated!' Rose told Kurumi 'He had another girlfriend, yadda yadda yadda and now we're dating!' Rose grinned

Cass headed down to the Whomping Willow with a slight frown on her face and her guitar in tow, she seriously disliekd this DADA homework, what does defending one against the dark arts have anything to do with singing?! But nonetheless, it was a requirement that needed to be fulfilled...

She sat down on the now covered ground and waited for Heather.

Running towards the whomping willow to where she and Cass had agreed to meet up in, Heather ran as fast as she could because she thought she was running rather late. She had in her right hand, her violin case and her hood had practically fallen off her head exposing her crowning glory.

upon arriving at the grounds of the whomping willow, she looked about; where was Cass? all she saw was snow and-AHA! there was the blonde! "CASS!" she called out. "I'mhere!I'mhere!I'mhere!" she squealed, running towards her friend.

Rachel walked past the tree, she didnt know why really but as she walked past she noticed her friend Presley, she waved but didnt want to interrupt her conversation with the boy she was talking to.

Cass looked up when she heard someone calling her name and wasn't surprised to see Heather running up to her, destroying the calmness around them "Could you get any louder, Heather?" Cass asked sarcastically when the small girl finally reached her "Anyway, ready to start?" She asked as she pulled her guitar to her lap

Heather took a deep breath and plopped down the snow next to Cass and quickly took out her violin. "aheehee...sorry about that...i could squeal, but i might cause an avalanche." she said with a laugh. "Yup, I'm ready."

"Alright" Cass said as she brushed the snow that had accumulated over her guitar "Who sings first?"

Heather beamed at her best friend. "i want to hear you sing first, Cass." she chirped happily. Hearing her best friend sing is a glorious thing for her indeed

"Alright.." Cass said as she reached for her song notebook and started strumming an upbeat cheerful tune. She glanced up at Heather for a moment before returning her attention to the guitar "Its called Wonderful Crazy"

Nika smiled at Willie and gave him a hug. "Thank you so much Willie!" She started walking back towards the picnic she had set up. "Ready to have our picnic?"

" Ook, but it probably not yoru fault" Willaim told Kurumi." I am surprised, Rex had a lot of freinds that had been first yeats" William said to Kurumi." Yes. I guess everyone has their own set of freinds" William explained to Kurumi. " Rex and I are different" William smiled.

" This is how you explain our relationship?" William asked Rose. " I am so glad I am called yadda yadda yadda" William laughed. " I thought you minght make the story more interesting" William told Rose.

Cass.. long time no see" Willaim told her. Are you going to play the guitar for all of us?" William asked Cass." Oh, I remember you sing, too" William dsid to Cass.

" You are most welcome" William told Nika." Good. I get to have the picnic, too" William said to Nika. " I do not like to eat as much as Rex, but I do not turn down food" William explained to Nika.

'Hey, if you want interesting, last person you should go to is me!' Rose shrugged 'Explain it yourself then!' Rose said as she stormed off. 'Not interesting, psh!' Rose muttered under her breath. He had better apologise! Rose thought

Nika chuckled as she offered him a sandwich. "I love food!" She loved it and yet she was very small for her age. How does that even happen? "But you know what I like most of all?" She asked taking out a box filled with.... "CHOCOLATE FROGS!" She cried with an enthusiastic grin. "I think they are hands down my favorite wizard treat!"

Whoops. She hadn't realized she had to touch all of the other bases first. and er, excellent question. Did you have to bat on every base you stopped on? She made a guess, "Home plate?" She danced back to the plate and picked up her fallen bat. "Let's go again!"

" I am sorry, you are not boring" Wiliam told Rose. " I had a girlfriend, but I ended up eith Rose because I like her better plus was crushing on her" William explained to Kurumi and Rose. " Please come back sweetie, I really like you" " William said to Rose.

" Thanks, the sandwich is good" William told Nika." I love Chocolate Frogs, too" William said to Nika." They are a great treat' William agreed with Nika.

" " No, you only bat from home plate, drop the bat, not throw it and when you hit it you run to first basr" Willaim explained to Presley. " Now if someone catches a fly ball , a line drive or a pop- up or if someone cathches your ground out and throws to first, you are out" William said to Predley. " The exception to the rule is if you are fast like you, you might beat the throw to first base" William told Presley. You are anxious to keep going?" William asked Presley.

Grumbling Rose came back... 'Don't call me boring...' Rose scolded 'Or your Christmas Pressie will be reduced! First Warning...' Rose laughed 'Yeah, forgiven!'

Heather listened intently to her best friend. Every time Cass performs in front of her, it was truly....fantastic. That's all she could say.

When Cass has finished, she clapped for her friend. "Again..." she started. "You're so amazing...Cass."

"Thanks." Cass said modestly as she set her guitar to the side carefully then she turned to Heather and said "You're turn."

Wasn't that what Presley had said? MAybe not. William threw out tons of new words, and then told her if she was fast, she could avoid getting out. That wouldn't be a problem. "Yeah, this is fun!" she replied. "Plus, it's keeping me warm." There was snow on the ground, but Presley didn't want to go inside, she was having way too much fun.

Presley saw Rachel walk past and wave, and she waved back, but Rachel kept walking. Okay.

"oh! r-right..." she said and nervously picked up her violin. To be honest, Heather never conisdered herself a singer, and she was pretty much average, but she did love the violin and playing it while singing along. She took a deep breath and started playing the song.
