Laughing aloud at his comment she shook her head, "Can't do that myself, too many people to come find me and pull me out." Lifting her eyebrow she turned towards him again "Really?" what else had happened that year already. Wasn't it just October? Or did he mean one of the things to add, to this year.

Shaking her head again, she grimaced "Pretty dense I think. I don't think I'll finish it personally. She thinks she should run my life and turn me away from Matt...." Her eyebrows flew into her hairline at his next words though. What was he doing? Trying to get smacked? Instead of slapping him though she smirked "Jealous?"

"Well why do you think I'm out here," he said with a smirk. Yup they had found him again. It was starting to annoy him. He couldn't get a minute of peace. "Yeah really." And he wasn't about to go in to detail with her.

Picking the book up he flipped through it and made a face, "I don't blame you. It is a bit...dim witted." Closing it with a loud slam he looked at her seriously, "No one can tell you how to live your life TJ. If this guy is really worth dealing with whoever this chick is you need to tell her off." He placed the book down again and raised an eyebrow at her, "Me? Jealous? Not likely. You aren't my type." Well she might have been he didn't really know her that well. But the fact that she let him kiss her twice when they just barely met told him that no she wasn't.

Smirking at his comment she nodded her head slightly dropping the book onto the grass. She'd had enough of that book, maybe she could just donate it to the Hogwarts library. She didn't want that thing in her sight even now. Her eyebrow lifting as he agreed again. Hmm interesting.

Watching as he picked up the book and flipped through it. "Yeah, some people are so about their house and the beliefs about how that house should act...." Drifting off she looked out through the branches. "I well, tried to, then got punched by her." What the heck was up with the letter she'd just gotten from Raven too... Smirking she glanced at him as he said she wasn't his type. Mhmmm like she believed that. Why else would he kiss her? Twice for that matter.

Oakey had decided that the grounds with the Whomping Willow was the perfect place to do some of his exercises for DADA. Even though this was kind of taught by Lord Borr. Oakey liked the idea of keeping physically fit as a good homework assignment. The problem was he wasn't learning any spells, what was up with that?

He found a nice clear spot at a good distance from the tree. He took out his parchment from which he had copied the homework onto


Oakey decided it was a smart idea to combine stretching, touching his toes, meditation, 50 front rolls, and karate together.

He also thought that swimming in the lake was a little insane especially with a giant squid, merfolk, and a mysterious ship in it at the moment. Perhaps he should see someone about that.

He placed the parchment back into his windbreaker.(Thank Merlin Harvey told him to pack workout clothes.)

Oakey did his stretches which included touching his toes.

He then began his Karate training. Harvey had taught Oakey a form of karate called Kata Heian. Nidan!

He most of looked ridiculous doing these out in the open but he felt at peace. He drowned out his surroundings and began to focus only on Harvey teaching him the techniques.

from a distance it looked as if Oakey was following the movements of the Whomping Willow.

Jaymie was wandering around the grounds when she noticed a boy looking like he was having a spaz attack. When she got a little closer she saw that he was....imitating the GIANT moving tree? What? Jaymie went closer and walked over to him. "Hi," she said a little uncertainly. "Are you okay?"

Oakey was so deep in thought while doing his karate he hadn't noticed the girl come up to him.

This was truly an interesting homework assignment.

He did a couple other moves when WHOOSH his fist went right past the girls face. He snapped out of his trance when he realized he had almost hit a girl.

OH GEEZE! ARE YOU OKAY, I DIDN'T HIT YOU DID I!?!?!

What the heck? She had just asked if he was okay, and now he was trying to hit her? So, he was crazy! "No," she told him with a confused look in her eyes. "Almost. But, no, you didn't hit me. Why? Were you trying to?" He probably was, he was insane after all.

He let out a huge sigh of relief.When she told him he hadn't hit her. I'm doing homework he told the girl now with a smile on his face. It's for DADA, see. He pulled out the parchment again.



I must look funny doing this, out in the open? I'm Oakey by the way.

Brynn smiled. Of course she knew Cass was only kidding around; the girl didn't have to clarify. She turned to her when she said that her phone didn't work at Hogwarts. Weird.. "Really? Mine does.." O__o Maybe Her parents had gotten some magic spell over it to make it less muggle-y. Maybe..

"Me? Eaten by the darkness monster? C-Money, you have no faith in me! 'Course I can take on a silly dark monster." When Cass claimed that she didn't talk about the boy very much, Brynn simply gave her one of those looks that essentially said something along the lines of.... 'YEAH RIGHT.' So, this boii was basically perfection, by the way Cassie made him seem. Then again, when Cass was into a boy, he was always pure perfection until something bad happened between them. "Sounds like a real keeper, girly." That should be taken with a grain of salt, mind you. Brynn didn't even know the kid.

Cassie looked quite surprised at Brynn when she said that her phone worked at school. She wanted it!! All these years and Brynn just came and found out how to make her phone work??? She didn't know that her bestie was like a freaking genius and what not."What??? Can I have it Bunny?" She batted her lashes."Pleeeeeease?"

She nodded her head and laughed. She should have known better than that actually." Ugh, what was I thinking? Of course you would kick that monster's butt. Forgive me for losing sight of your awesomeness Oh Bunny One."
Cass laughed at the look that Brynn gave her. Ok maybe she did sort of talk about James a lot but she couldn't help it. She smiled at Brynn's next comment."Speaking of James and sexyness I saw him go into the training room earlier, come on sometimes he trains with his shirt off." She got to her feet and dragged Brynn up dragging the girl along with her.

Samira was just starting to doze off when she felt a force collide into her. The Slytherin was thrown slightly on her side, and she straightened up as quick as she could. Scowling, the dark-haired girl turned and glared. "Would you please watch it?" Samira straightened out her outfit and adjusted her hair. When Samira turned to actually see who she was talking to, she immediately felt bad for snapping. After all, it was an accident. And how many times has Samira tripped over someone? Plenty. Not only that, but the girl looked distressed.

Samira cleared her throat awkwardly. "Uh, sorry," she mumbled. "Are you--are you okay?"

Even with the girl there Oakey got back to his exercise. He continued his Karate with a different technique this time.(Yodan) Perhaps he would put on a show for her.

His mind drifted back into meditation. As he did this Oakey focused only on Harvey and his instructions on the Karate technique.

Jacob moved over the Grounds steadily, and quietly. He was in deep thought. After spying on some try-outs, he started to become worried about how his own hopefuls would perform. Maybe they all lost every ounce of flying ability over the summer, and now Jacob was going to be laughed at, for going from 1st place to last place in one year... and what would the Scouts say!

As Jacob neared the whomping Willow, Jacob also neared a kid who was... Dancing?! What in the world was he doing dancing by the Whomping Willow?

Oakey switched forms now doing Shodan. Was the girl still watching? had he gathered a crowd? He didn't know. He was to focused on his homework.
He continued to match the movements of the Whomping Willow.

Jacob continued to watch the hufflepuff, as he did his little dancing. What was it even called? Jacob moved closer to the boy, and within arms length of the boy, asked. "Why are you dancing by the Willow?" honest question... the thing could swing at him... sure. Him and the Willow had a relationship, they understood each other. But this huffie was in danger... he may go SPLAT!

Cool! Jacob wanted to see!

Oakey was in the zone! Nothing could stop him now. not even... THUD! Oakey felt something make contact with his knee. He broke out of his trance hoping he hadn't hit the girl this time. Only to his surprise, he had hit an older boy.

BUT! Not just any older boy. He kneed the crazy Ravenclaw that was on the old ship. Oakey froze in fear. I'm so dead he thought.

Jacob eyes became engulfed in fire. He put his fingers together and cracked them. And with that, he took out his wand, and with a lazy flick said "Incarcerous" he said, and watched as ropes bound the little hufflepuff... Yup. This was gonna be fun.

"I suggest you don't struggle, it makes them tighter." he added as he grabbed the boy by the back of the robes and pulled him off towards the other side of the grounds.

Poor Oakey. He was now tied up in ropes, and was being dragged. He was going to be killed.

He didn't mean for this to happen he was only practicing his homework!

IT WAS HIS HOMEWORKS FAULT! MORE SPECIFICALLY LORD BORR'S HOMEWORK.

Stupid karate! Why did he need to practice his karate! He should be learning defensive spells! ESPECIALLY FOR THIS KIND OF SITUATION!

He tried to reach for his wand that was in his jacket pocket but the ropes got tighter as he reached for it. He thought he heard a snap! either it was his wand or his wrist. Oakey had hoped it was his wrist.

despite the ropes constant tightening, Oakey managed to barely grasp his wand.

WHAT SPELL! he thought! What spell would work!

He only knew four spells since he got here! "FOUR!" There was that number again! But which of the four would work, Ridikulus wouldn't work his captor wasn't a boggart. Lumos was stupid in this situation and Aguamenti was just as worse. Incendio was his only hope left! would it be powerful enough to burn through the rope!

INCENDIO! Oakey yelled! and flame had come from his jacket and burned the ropes! He tumbled to the ground his stomach in a ton of pain(and probably burnt) and unable to move his wrist.

"Sorry," she apologized and bowed. "I'm fine," she smiled back up at Samira. But her ankle still hurt, it might've twisted. Zara's face looked pained.

Trying to stand up, Zara supported herself using her hands. And after a couple of attempts, she managed to at least stand up. Well, all is good as long as she finds herself a chair somewhere safe. Surely, in front of the Whomping Willow isn't the best place.

Did the kid just get lighter?

Jacob looked a round to see the lil huffie sitting on the ground. This was really starting to tick Jacob off. He moved back to the kid and pulled him up by the robes. "alright, kid! There is a hungry Snargaluff on the grounds somewhere, and I hear it like first year hufflepuffs the best." he said angrily " now I'm not gonna deprive my little carnivorous friend any more, so either come willingly or your gonna have several broken bones first." yup the plant was getting food and a hug either way.

Uh-oh. The girl looked pained. Guilt hit Samira again. She was obviously trying to stand without showing her pain, but Samira could see it. "Hey, it's fine." Samira reached out her arms as if she was going to catch the girl if she suddenly fell over, but not quite touching her. "I don't think you should be standing," said Samira, eyeing the girl's ankle. Ouch. That did not look good. "Let's sit here, it looks hurt." The Slytherin held out a hand to help the other girl sit on the grass.

Samira suddenly remembered that introductions had not properly been made. "I'm Samira, by the way. Second year Slytherin." She gave the tiniest hint of a smile, like she usually did when meeting new people.

He did it He escaped the ropes. His stomach burning and a broken wrist, but he escaped the ropes.

Wait nope...the Crazy Ravenclaw grabbed him by his jacket collar.

He ignored the guys threats about feeding him to a snargaluff (whatever that was). Sorry Oakey spoke up in a raspy whisper. But you've already broken my bones He gave him a painful looking smile.


YOU IDIOT! WHY ARE YOU JOKING NOW! YOU'RE GONNA DIE

If on the off chance he made it out of this alive. There was no way he'd make the remaining Hufflepuff tryouts. His fate was becoming the same as Harvey's his dream of playing Quidditch slowly fading away.

Trying his best to keep his pained smile tears had started forming in his eyes.

"It's okay. I'm fine," Zara insisted. But Samira had already assisted her. Oh well, it was no use putting up an act, her ankle hurt very much anyway and Zara didn't know how much longer she can stand without screaming out the truth that she was in pain.

As she was sitting on the grass, hand on her ankle, she said, "Zara," she smiled, "Danielle Zara Griffiths. First year Gryffindor."

Samira was glad Zara didn't deny her assistance. She didn't just go around acting like some do-gooder, helping everyone. Nope. Only those who needed it, and Zara needed it.

"Nice to meet you, Zara." Samira's eyes widened a little. Aw. It was an ickle firstie! One of the things Samira loved about being a second year was not being the youngest. Keeping her calm composure, Samira coolly said, "That's cool. So how are you liking Hogwarts so far? Gotten lost yet?" Merlin knows how many times Samira has gotten lost as a first year. There were so many other questions she wanted to ask, but she held them in. She didn't want to overwhelm Zara with her curiosity.

Kurumi's eyes widened and she bit her lower lip as Fee's words stabbed her right where it hurt the most - in the already large hole in her heart. Deep down, she knew that the blonde was right. She was saying the same things that her brothers had been saying to her all summer.

But...that didn't make it hurt any less...nor did it dull the longing she felt.

"I-I-I'm afraid of being without him..." Kurumi said surprising even herself with her confession. Wait, that wasn't entirely right. "I'm afraid of losing that feeling of being accepted and..." she paused for a moment as her throat caught on the word. "L-L-L-Loved..."

Yet, Kurumi knew that this wasn't true either. There was already someone who was trying to get into her heart and mend the scars and hole caused by Adam. Yet, Kurumi was afraid to let him in too. What if...he did the same...
