Around the corner from Professor Bentley’s office is an area where students and staff can come and lounge around in the sun, or sit in shade, surrounded by friends and food. Come and take a seat at one of the cute little tables, the chairs are enchanted with cushioning charms and they are comfier than they look. Have a picnic, a cup of tea, discuss homework or just relax.
Selina listened to him scream at her and didn't flinch for a second. He was going to yell at her for as long as he needed. She knew this about Chris. Once he got his back up it was hard to get him to calm down. And she wasn't going to beg for an apology, not this time. he could blame her all he wanted but she was not the one who had gotten into a physical altercation in the middle of Hogsmeade. He did and so did her cousin. She was NOT the bad guy. Chris should have just walked away if Nathan was really being such a jerk. How was that her fault?
Once he seemed to be done she said stale faced, "You done? Good. Now you listen to me and you listen good. Don't you ever yell at me about something I didn't do. YOU hit Nathan, YOU called him names, YOU got defensive. When did I ever say to you that it was ALL your fault? My cousin didn't help. But I am not the bad guy and I don't care who you are. You will not talk to me in that manner. Because, honestly, I'm the only one who can make Violet understand what happened. All she saw was your last little stunt with my broken and bloody cousin. So watch yourself with the way you talk to me."
Christopher felt like he was going to pull all of the hair out of his head. Selina was not listening to him! He was getting so frustrated with her, he thought he might black out. Fortunately for him, that didn't happen. Not yet anyway. "Selina! Stop being so thick and just listen to me! I. Am. Not. Blaming. You!" He said loudly, the tiredness in his voice audible. "If you'd listen, you would know that NATHAN hit me, NATHAN taunted me, NATHAN broke my bloody nose! I had a right to be defensive! And you don't seem to be upset with him!" It was so agitating that Selina was favouring her cousin in the situation. So what if it was family? The kid had attacked him! Now it was a crime that he defended himself? That he quit taking all that crap people gave him?
The next thing she said sent Christopher Janes through the roof. "Don't you dare even threaten me with Violet," he growled. "She isn't just some rag doll who doesn't know anything! You can't control her Selina! She's intelligent and clever and can figure things out by herself! She doesn't need you telling her what to think!!" He thought she'd get that, being her best friend and all. But the way she spoke about Violet now was as if she were just a small child who didn't understand anything. At least that was how it came off to Christopher. "She'll listen to my story if she wants to! And if she doesn't, or she concludes that Nathan's the right person to be with, then that's good for her! It's her descision, and who would I be to stop her?!" Christopher said, his voice still raised, though not quite at a yell. Then he spoke softly and sadly, staring at the ground, his eyes far away. "I just- I just want her to be happy. Even if that means it's not with me." Or worse. The Durmstrang dummy himself. Nathan.

Selina scoffed, "I'm thick? That's rich. I at least reckognize that my cousin is a jerk. I told you that the day I got the letter from him early in the term about Violet. But you, Christopher James, always have to be right. Do you know that in the two years we have been friends I ALWAYS apologize first whenever we argue? I always end up screaming and yelling the most, but having you and your sisters back when you need me. But you have this burning passion to always be right or not admit that you were wrong and our argument today, for me at least, isn't about ruddy Nathan, he can be a royal pinhead, but about the way you treat me and Violet for that matter!"
She breathed in fire and continued, "And I am listening. You're not listening! You keep repeating the same five things. But maybe if you weren't such a jealous freak and had not provoked my cousin with some comment about being Violet's boyfriend, which I know you did, and he wasn't such a baby this fight wouldn't have happened. But you two boys are just two proud to back down! Well guess what Christopher James! You wanna end this fight you better apologize. Because I'm not doing it this time. I'm not going to yield after you yell at me for however long you want to. You think you're tired of being pushed around? You push ME and VIOLET around. I'm not your girlfriend. I DON'T love you. So our fight is a fight not a battle of who caves first."
Flaming up with more anger she added, "And how dare you even say that I think that of Violet! I love Violet but she is sheltered. All she saw today was two people she cared about being jerks. That was what you were today, both of you, JERKS! And you know what she's not going to want to listen to you or Nathan. She is too hurt that you both couldn't just talk it out like human beings. That you had to resort to violence. The only story she is going to hear is mine. So my point was valid Christopher."
She turned away from him and muttered, "Keep pushing me away and see what happens."

She turned away from him and muttered, "Keep pushing me away

Christopher glowered at the red head, simply fuming. "I'll admit it, I'm stubborn! I can be pretty darn stubborn about being right, but you're being hyppocritical about yelling at me for it. Selina, you're
just as bad! You yell and fight and butt heads just as much- if not more- than I do! I apologize when it's appropriate! I know when I'm wrong and I know it was wrong of me to fight back Selina, I feel like the worst ruddy person on the planet, because you know I hate violence! I hate with my whole heart! But I will say that I had every right to use some defense! I'm not perfect Selina! Not in the slightest!" For a moment, Christopher forgot his anger, and it was replaced with confusion. "Wait, what? If it's not about m
Nathan, than what-" Be she cut him off with her elaboration. An elaboration that insulted him more than most things she'd said. "The way I treat you?!?! We're fighting Selina, and we're both
yelling. That's all I've done to mistreat you today! So sorry if I'm
not living up to your expectations!" He said with a roll of his eyes. "And what have I done to mistreat Violet?! She's my whole
entire world! She's the one who can never be mad at me, well at least I can't be mad at her. How could you even say that?!"
"Jealous freak. Your cousin told me he was going to take my girlfriend and that I wasn't worthy of her. Those thoughts run
through my head every day. I wasn't jealous. I was scared." He said it strongly, unashamed. No he wasn't a jealous freak.
No he wasn't a coward. He was just a kid. A kid with too much to loose. And there she went with the whole comments on how horrible he was to her and Violet thing. And it was not true, so it made him mad. "I'll apologize when I feel it's right! Right now
isn't exactly one of those times. And tell me again just how I push you around. More importantly, tell me how I push Violet around. Because by all means, I'd love to know!"
"You're the one who said it! Yeah, she has a right to be mad at
me! She has every right to never want to see me again! I get that! But you acting like you own her isn't right. She can make her own decisions. She's a human being for God's sake. Yes she's sheltered,
but that doesn't mean she'll always be. Look, I'm sorry to both of
you for using violence, I hate myself for it, but that's all I can say sorry for. I can't say something I don't believe in." By this last paragraph, his voice was calm, though his head still confused. He silently prayed that he and Selina could survive this fight, but he wasn't going to apologize for something he wasn't sorry about.
Then, suddenly, as Selina turned her back on him, he was confused
again; but this time, it was by his owl Baltimore, speeding towards
him so fast that he nearly knocked teeny little Selina off her feet. He dropped a letter into Christopher's hands, and gave him a meaningful
look before zooming off. He looked at the owl incredulously and turned back to the letter. His home adress was on it. It was written
in curly, fancy handwriting he didn't recognize. Things seemed to be
getting stranger. Out of the corner of his eye, he even noticed Selina eyeing him questionably. He tore open the letter, and what he found
made him sick. He felt his knees go weak and his mind was racing
as though his or some one else's life had just flashed before his eyes. Christopher dropped to his knees on the ground, and felt like he would hurl. He dropped the letter and it fluttered down to the ground gently, the envelope close behind it. He sat there for what
seemed like hours, his face blank, his eyes cold, and faraway.
The letter sat there peacefully; its lovely parchment taunting him. It read:
Quote:
To Mr. Christopher A. James and Miss Elyon F. James,
It was with a heavy heart we must deliver to you tragic news. Your father, Brian James, fought a long and hard battle with his cancer. He was a brave patient, and a brave man. But in the end, he could not battle it anymore. Brian James passed away last
night at 9:57 p.m. A funeral service will be held over Easter weekend. Here, you may spend mourning time with your close friends and family and collect things left for you in your Father's will.
We are sorry for your loss and wish you the best,
Dr. Perceus R. Smithson,
Head Doctor of Leukemia at the Cancer Treatment Center of London, and the rest of the nursing faculty
It didn't surprise him that the letter had to be sent from the hospital rather from his own mother. But he didn't care. He didn't care about anything anymore. At least he didn't right then. All he knee was that his dad was dead, his two best friends hated him, and he was all
alone.

Yeah, well neither had Ellie... Unfortunately. Oh, and Dallin. Great. She hadn't even considered the fact that Emma would bring him up, though she didn't know why. "Actually, I er-" But before Ellie could finish her answer, Emma pulled a blue wrapped gift out and handed it to her.
"Emma! No, you didn't have to, you shouldn't have!" Really, Ellie didn't like birthdays that much. Each birthday brought her closer to... Ellie shook her head and smiled, staring at the wrapped gift. Emma was such a good friend. A great friend, at that. But she didn't open the present just yet; she just looked at it in her hands.
The blonde grinned at her friend as she promised to stay warm. Perhaps Emma should have gotten Ellie vitamins as a birthday present. The Malfoy smirked at that idea before deciding that would be a little too over the top. *Angelic face*. *Then Ellie saw the gift in her lap and she was telling Emma off for getting her a gift.
Not get her a gift? Naah.. After all, Ellie was her friend despite the whole Alex thing, which Emma was totally over cause they would never have made a good couple and plus the fact that she had Brae now and friends always got each other gifts on their birthdays and celebrated the birthdays together.. Right? Not to mention.. This could be Ellie's last birthday... *The Malfoy tisked and shook her blonde head. "I had to! How could I not? Ellie you are one of my closest friends at Hoggies!" exclaimed Emma, truly meaning it. However selfish it may seem, Emma didn't want to lose another best friend. She had already lost Maddie to Beauxbatons and Selena to the greater world. She didn't want to lose Ellie to death. The blonde would fight for Ellie.*
Coming back to the present, Emma smiled as Ellie grinned. "I hope you like it." she added, kind of waiting for Ellie to open it. "So you were beginning to say something about Dallin.. Are you two not 'together' anymore?" asked the blonde curiously. Oh the curiosity of a Snake.

She wanted to throw something at him. Yes, she could get angry and yell, it was the product of her bad temper, but she was always the first to apologize when they had a fight. Selina could name every fight and how she had heeled after her long fits of yelling. And from what Violet had told her, Violet always apologized first whenever they fought. Sure, Selina was stubborn, but when she cared and knew that the yelling was a mute point she stopped. Chris held onto his anger and usually ran away.
But it had been quiet for too long with her back to him. Secretly, Chris was still like her brother and, she had to admit, he was growing a backbone from the time she had first met him. Of course she knew that he had only developed the backbone because of hanging out with Selina, but still he was starting to get one. A little part of her, a very small part, was proud of his courage. This was why he was in Gryffindor. But that fight was his fault. Maybe her cousin had done everything Chris had said, and he was getting a just as angry howler to the way Selina had yelled at Chris, but Chris did not need to take his anger out on her. She was there to help him. After all she had done for him- he was always going to be there for him. Yeah, she'd get annoyed and stomp and yell, but that was Selina's way. Take her or leave her, but she was not going to change.
Remembering all of that Selina turned a little to the side to check out why Chris was being so quiet. Had she really willed him that speechless. However, just as she was about to turn an owl flew by her head so fast that she had to do a double take. When she looked on she saw him opening a letter and now she was facing him completely. Suddenly, like a shot had hit his side, he stumbled to the ground and the letter was forgotten. His face was blank and his eyes were cold.
Oh no, she knew what this letter was about. She had seen it in a vision. But how could she tell him that she knew his father was going to die because when she was casually seeing the future she had seen this moment. However, this was too soon. She thought that it would happen next year or the year after. But here it was, the moment she had seen.
She didn't even need to read the letter to know what it had said, but it would raise suspicion if she didn't. So she picked up the letter and read it through. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes and sat down beside him, "Chris I'm-" But she couldn't even find the words. She just wrapped her arms around him and cradled his head in her lap. Forget the fight, he needed her now.
Know what that means? Spring is coming anytime soon. It's the best season of the year. Colorful, bright flowers get to bloom. Problem is..................... BEES! They'll be everywhere and of course spring sickness. People's noses get irritated during spring but it's better than winter.
Jeanne went up to the terrace since it's been quite a long time since she last came to visit this place. Actually that was when they first came to Hogwarts and now, it's February. Long enough...
She sat down on one area and took out her tiny notebook. It's like a scrapbook full of memories. She draws in it mostly or cuts out pictures from books. Jeanne loves colorful stuffs, so you can imagine how bright this notebook is. She took out her pencil and that page of the book she ripped out. After she's done with this before the term ends, she'll be very happy to have accomplished something despite the fact that they are busy with homework and projects.

Jonathan had a long walk for today. He ended up to the greenhouse. should he go inside the greenhouse or up the terrace? Both places looked very comfy. Jonathan loves nature but problem is he sucks at Herbology. He really doesn't know why someone who is in love with nature happens to fail the subject that studies, well, NATURE.
Anyways. He needed to pick greenhouse? or terrace? The two places were repeated continuously.
Terrace. He picked terrace.
Upon reaching the place he stretched his arms back and fort and smelled the rather cold air. Great. It's still a little bit snowy but it's finally February. Jonathan can;t wait for spring, although his favorite season is fall.
Gazing from left to right he saw a familiar face. 'is that Jeanne?' he thought. It could be her or it couldn't be. Jonathan walked a few steps closer and got a better view at the brunette. YUP.
It is her. Jonathan paced his way over to Jeanne. She's busy doing something and maybe that's why she didn't notice him. Thankfully she's not noticing him because he is looking quite a dork right now. "Hey Jeanne!" he said waving his hand and smiling--- like a total dork.

Blushes.
Jeanne is dwelt into her scrap booking. She had a lot of awesome ideas to make her scrap book really adorable. As if it can't get more adorable. When spring comes she's thinking of putting flowers in it. Real flowers. Make it look cuter and smell good. Oh how she can't wait for spring any longer. She's definitely excited to finish this scrapbook.
Hyper.
She still gluing everything together when Jonathan startled her. Oh Jonathan, why is it that everytime Jeanne has something to do, you always show up and disturb her? It's like he has some sort of telepathy or something.
Jeanne smiled. "Hey Jonathan" she said "Take a seat" she offered him a seat. It's been awhile since the two had sat down and talked normal. The last time they saw each other didn;t ended well. They both weren't expecting that to happen or at least to Jeanne.
truthfully Jeanne is sorry to Jonathan about this. Not only what happened to them nearly broke their friendship but the trust is somehow no longer there. Why was it like that? He shouldn't have just said anything in the first place. Now it feels so awkward that they're like this. Very awkward indeed.
"Soo..." Jeanne started. "What brings you up here?" she asked still gluing the bits of paper into her scrapbook. Smiling.
Chloe headed to the terrace just outside the greenhouse to the terrace where there was a nice little area set up for tea. Considering that she was sure she could find a pepperment plant nearby and likely lots of other plants for the potions stores. She came with a book to identify all sorts of plants, some gloves, and a box ofull of plastic baggies. Upon her arrival Chloe was overwhelmed with all different scents of flowers. She looked through her book and started to identify some diffrent flowers in the area. She put on her gloves and began plucking some samples of valarian, daisies, belladona, and moly. She put each speciman in a seprate bag and labeled them. She then put them in her bag an sat down for tea. Once finished Chloe headed for the lake.

Jonathan immediately sat down next to Jeanne. Yes, he is making a complete fool of himself right now. What is he thinking? Jeanne clearly told him about her feelings and it's never going to change....................maybe. We don't know that yet, right? But seriously, Jonathan has moved on over that. He doesn't know why but getting that out of his system made him realize that Jeanne was actually right about this. So instead of being all gloomy and angry and what not. Jonathan decided to be more optimistic about this. why would he be down? He would just make Jeanne worry some more if that happens. It's nice that they finally sat down about it last time and actually had that talk.
So what brings Jonathan up the terrace? Well, he was about to go to the greenhouse, thankfully he came up here. "I didn't know where to just sit down and relax" yeah that was mostly his intention. Jeanne is his best friend. Seeing her after a couple of weeks is really refreshing. Jonathan wants to catch up like old times as well. He misses her as a best friend. Always will. Jeanne and Jonathan may still have that awkward silence but Jonathan is just happy they're somehow back to normal and their friendship is still intact. He liked that.
Jonathan looked at what Jeanne was doing. she was doing some sort of scrap book stuffs. She's pasting tiny bits of paper into it. Jonathan lowered his head to get a closer view to what she's doing. "What's that?" he saw her gluing stuffs the whole term but never even bothered to ask her why. So now, he asks. Right now, tons of questions are flowing into his head such as, 'who's it for?' or 'why are you making that?' and 'is that a project i don't know about?'.
Jonathan knows Jeanne a lot and probably asking her a lot of questions will just get her annoyed. Jeanne gets annoyed easily especially when one asks too many question. Sadly, Jonathan was like that. Now that he thinks about it, is that the reason why Jeanne doesn't feel the same way as he does towards her?
I moved some things around. Hope you don't mind. ^__^

Biting her lip, Ellie played with the ring on her right hand. Dallin. She sighed. "Yeah... I broke up with him. Yesterday." She said plainly. And the truth was, she didn't really feel any different. She wasn't sad. She didn't have regrets. The only regret she had was leading him on. Ellie just wanted to have some fun and flirt with a new guy. And then everything snowballed so fast into something that wasn't planned at all. She tried moving on from Alex, but Chandler kept trying to convince her that Alex still... loved her.
It was all a big, stupid mess.
Ellie smiled when Emma said she was one of her closest friends. At 'Hoggies', as she had called it. But she couldn't help but look down and think... maybe this was it. Maybe this birthday was her last. A lump started to form in her throat. Slowly unwrapping the gift in her lap, she tried to fight back tears. She didn't know whether she was crying because her life was ending, or because Emma was one of her best friends. And she didn't want to let her go.
Ellie pulled out a beautiful, silver charm bracelet. It had different charms on it: a watch, a key, a clover... It was absolutely beautiful. And Ellie's tears just started flowing down her cheeks. It was pointless trying to hold them back. Ellie lowered her shaking hand and put the bracelet on the table. She quickly embraced Emma in a tight hug, tears still falling.
"You're the best friend I've ever had." She said quietly, her voice quivering. I'll miss you.

Emma's mouth dropped a little. Ellie and Dallin broke up? Oh wow. She didn't see that one coming. Emma thought the two were getting on quite nicely, but the blonde guessed that's what life did to you. Throwing an obstacle in the way. "Ouch. I'm sorry about that," she added, giving Ellie a truly sympathetic look. That was tough. Poor Ellie. Poor Dallin.
Emma watched as Ellie's eyes filled with tears. What was wrong now? Oh Ellie. Before Emma could say anything, Ellie was crying. Tears were running down the brunette's cheeks. And then Ellie pulled Emma into a tight hug as Ellie told her that she was the best friend that she had ever had. Emma's eyes started to tear up as well. And a tear ran down her cheek as she hugged Ellie back.
"And you're one of mine too," she whispered back, still hugging the brunette as another tear made its way down the blonde's face. Maybe Emma was selfish or just really stubborn but she didn't want to let go of Ellie. Ellie was a really good friend and to watch her die would be unbearable. The blonde wanted to find whoever cursed Ellie and teach her a lesson or two. Yeah! That's right. You don't mess with Ellie.
"Ellie, I promise you whatever happens. I'll be by your side, so will Fee. And Chandler. And Brae and Theo," she began as her mind moved through the people that she knew would be by Ellie's side in a heartbeat. Alex. Emma knew deep in her heart, that Alex was still in love with Ellie. He was in denial. "And Alexbear," she added in a softer voice with conviction.
Wiping a tear off her own face with her finger, she reached into her bag and pulled out a couple of tissues for Ellie. "Here," she said, giving Ellie a soft smile. Merlin's Beard.
I don't think we actually have to worry about Elyon because her RPer went to college.

A little part of her, a very small part, was proud of his
courage.
Time. People seemed to loose track of it rather often. But when someone you love is slipping from your grasp, time is something you rely on to keep them with you. Until time runs out. And that person lets go.
Though now, it seemed like time had disappeared. Christopher wasn't sure how long he was sitting there, diving into his flashbacks and memories. It was hard to grasp on to the concept that he, his dad, was really gone. Now was just the easy part. Dealing with the grief and pain and sorrow. Next, he had to go home, pack up, and go wherever his mother sent them. He'd made her a promise to always obey her as she was the parent- and he never broke that promise. So off to the orphanage it was. But for the time being, Christopher James was too sad, too depressed, too buried in grief to worry about that just yet. He'd have time, as now, he had all of it in the world. Until he had to say goodbye to his friends, and his home. But that too was something that made him feel worse, so he'd deal with that later too.
When he felt himself slip back into a reality where his life was being torn to shreds, he noticed Selina's arms wrapped around him as he sat weakly on his knees. A part of him wondered how long they'd been that way, but the other part didn't care. He wasn't completely alone.... for now. He tried to talk, to say something; but his voice wouldn't come, and a lump in his throat made breathing hard. He felt like he was going to vomit. His face was pale, and blank still, his blue eyes standing out more than ever with his dark hair. He slowly moved his face towards Selina, seeing her buried into his shoulders leaving tear stains on the shoulder of his robes. The sight made it seems as though he should have been comforting her. It made him even more sad, thinking of what Elyon would say and do. She'd be even worse than any of them. She was so fragile....
"Selina...." He managed to choke out with his voice as empty as his eyes. "I'm so sorry...... You were right. About everything." Tears threatened him at this point, but he pushed them away- emotion was the last thing he needed pouring out of him right now. "Can-" his voice faltered,"Can you forgive me?" He didn't want to be guilty of it anymore, and he knew she'd been right. But he mostly just couldn't be alone in the world. Not now. But a bigger question tugged at Christopher the whole time. His dead eyes stared into hers and he asked miserably, half pleading, "Could Violet?"

Selina finally looked up to Chris who seemed to rejoin the land of the living. She had always assumed that death would make people darker, more removed. But Chris' eyes were lighter and like he was more innocent. It was sad really. When he pleaded for her forgiveness she buckled. Her resolve that minutes ago was so hard and unmoving was now falling through the cracks. She smiled at him softly and said, "I forgive you. Look I am so sorry about your Dad. Really, I am. And... Violet loves you. Like she really loves you. She would forgive you in a heartbeat, you just need to talk to her. Violet wants you and you want her, go talk to her."
Then she got and idea and stood up quickly. "I, um, need to go and do something. I'll talk to you later okay?"
She was gone and off to go and do what she needed to do.
Yeah, okay! Just make sure Chrissy actually gets here, okay? ^_^

Christopher heaved a sigh, still shaky. "Thanks, Sel. For everything." He was about to ask her something really, really important to him, when she said the Violet loved him, he stopped, forgetting just about everything, though the presence of a loss still lingered. At this point, he forgot the question, the fight, Nathan, everything but his dad, which seemed faded, though of course it wouldn't remain that way for long. But Selina had said just what he'd needed to hear. All he could think of were the words, 'Violet loves you.'
He hadn't even noticed Selina leaving, but he just wandered around, trying to find the Hufflepuff. He was sure she'd be around here somewhere, picking some flowers, or maybe confiding in Elektra. All he knew was he needed to see her. He needed to apologize, he needed to hug her, he needed to give her her gift, and he needed to tell her that after this year, it truly would be good-bye. But he wouldn't say good-bye. He couldn't. Because good-bye meant leaving and leaving meant forgetting. And Violet wasn't someone he'd ever forget.

This was probably the WORST thing to ever happen to Violet while she was at Hogwarts. The only thing she remembered was walking through Hogsmeade with Selina after a very eventful day of shopping, even though Selina was carrying her newly bought items, but Violet didn't force her to carry EVERYTHING, Selina had offered. And every time Violet asked Selina if she minded Selina kept saying no, so Violet just went on. But that fun-filled day took a turn for the worst when Violet and Selina discovered Christopher standing over a very beat up and weak Nathan. She was completely taken aback by what she had seen and remembered only muttering the words,"...Why.." two people that she cared about, fighting in the middle of Hogsmeade, but what she didn't like the most was that they were fighting in general. Everything that she saw was constantly running throughout her head, she didn't even know what to think at this point.
But before she could even react to anything Nathan disappeared and Chris looked like somebody she didn't even recognize. Why were Nathan and Chris even fighting in the first place, she didn't eve know but all she kept thinking was that she had to find Chris and get some answers. Violet had somehow ended up at the Terrace and all she kept thinking what she was going to say to Chris. She didn't even know if she hated him or if she was mad at him, but what she did know was that she did still care a lot about him. Or could it possibly be that there was something more? Maybe, maybe....Maybe what Violet was coming to realize that what that 'something more' was....love. That must have been what she has been feeling for the longest time now. And because of that Violet could feel her cheeks warming up almost immediately.
Now since Violet was so into thinking about this entire process she wasn't particularly watching where she was walking. Her violet eyes were fixated on the ground below her while she was playing and twirling with her hair. It made her smile sweetly thinking about Chris, she really did love him. She was then thinking about telling him that the moment she found him, but that came to an immediate halt when the young blonde had walked into somebody and fell backwards. As she was falling a small yelp escaped her mouth. Violet then immediately shut her eyes anticipating the impact she would be having with the ground.

As she was falling a small yelp escaped her mouth. Violet then immediately shut her eyes anticipating the impact she would be having with the ground.
Christopher held the letter in his hands, standing with his back from the entrance of the Terrace. He was commpletely torn up on the inside. Apologies, explanations, hidden feelings, and grief were to come up if he talked to Violet, and he didn't want to feel any more of this pain he was feeling now. None. He felt so empty knowing his future and loss, but he also felt so many things. Feelings he'd never dared to dream of feeling. He was scared, for starters. Scared that Violet wouldn't forgive him, or say she hated him. Or worse- tell him she loved him. He knew he wouldn't be able to say it back, knowing that they'd just have to part ways one final time at King's Cross Station in June, never to see one another again. He didn't think he could stand to say good-bye, but he knew Violet would never be able to live again if she didn't. Because saying good-bye meant going away. And going away meant forgetting. Christopher would never forget Violet. The question was, would she forget him? Leave him behind for some other guy?
But he knew that wouldn't matter if she hated him forever. So he decided that finding Violet would be the only way. He turned, the crumpled letter still loosely in his grip. The boy tried to figure out what he'd say to her when he did find her. Where would he start? Well, he'd put it piece by piece until the puzzle was complete. First, he'd start with the apology. Then he'd bring in an explanation of his actions, followed by even more apologies, his dad's letter, and a peaceful parting. He'd wanted it to end with the two making up, but he knew that wouldn't happen. He'd be lucky to get through the day without anymore blood stains on his hoodie- something he'd had plenty of thanks to Nathan. And he was still rather upset about Selina just running off on him when he needed a friend the most. Now he was all alone, with nowhere to go, no one to turn to. All in all, things just really weren't going his way today.
But before he could complete turning around some more, a small pushed him forward a little, making him stumble a bit before he whipped around to see what had caused it.
A tiny girl with flowing blonde hair was falling towards the ground with her eyes squeezed shut, but she fell slowly; as if it were in slow motion. Instinct took over and Christopher took a giant step towards her, grabbing her arms that were flailing a bit in the air, and pulled her back up before she hit the Earth. He'd pulled her a little too close, so for a moment, they were standing merely centimeters from one another. He quickly dropped her arms and looked away, stepping back. But before he had done so, he'd seen her face. She'd been staring intently up at him with an expression so hard, with so many emotions mixed in her eyes, it was impossible for him to decipher the meaning behind them. He saw flashes of hate, fear, and confusion. But he'd also seen something else.... something he didn't know what it was. It looked different, softer than the others, but changed quickly back to hate.
He wasn't really sure what to do at this point. He'd made a plan and everything, but now that he was in the actual situation, he had no idea what he was going to say to Violet. Three words were uttered out of the trembling boy's mouth.
"I'm so sorry."

"I'm so sorry."
As she was making her way towards the Earth Violet's eyes remained shut preparing herself for her bottom to meet with the Earth. But all of a sudden that impact never came because Violet suddenly felt a rather firm grip grab onto her arms and pull her upwards away from the ground. And when her feet were firmly placed on the ground Violet felt the presence of that person directly in front of her and she felt a little uncomfortable, but before she could do anything that person had moved themselves away from her and she was a little confused.
It was at that moment that she decided she would discover who that person was exactly who had prevented her from dirtying her clothes. Violet slowly opened her eyes and tilted her head upwards to see who she had to give thanks to. And her violet eyes had met up with a pair of very familiar electric blue eyes that she knew so well. Violet's eyes had widened a little but to discover that it was Christopher who she bumped into and it was Christopher who had saved her from falling. After she had discovered it was Christopher all she had realized that she didn't even know what to say. So basically she just remained motionless and just kept continuously staring into his eyes almost as if she were in a trance. Violet then came out of that trance when she heard him mutter an apology and it was then that she didn't know what to do.
She awkwardly slowly raised her hand and brushed some of her hair behind her ear. Violet then broke their gaze and slowly looked down at their feet. She sighed a little nervously and then tried to find the right words to answer him and fast before he immediately assumed she would hit him or something. As Violet was thinking so intently about everything that had just happened today she could feel her eyes beginning to tear up a little. She then tried to prevent them from falling and then looked up at bit at the sky and wiped her eyes a little bit. Violet then could feel her body begin to shake a little bit and then she muttered softly,"W-wh-why Chris...?" She tried her very best to hold back the tears before she went on,"Why-why did you two have to hurt each other...."

Violet then could feel her body begin to shake a little bit and then she muttered softly,"W-wh-why Chris...?" She tried her very best to hold back the tears before she went on,"Why-why did you two have to hurt each other...."
Christopher bit his lip as she started to cry. He hated seeing her like that. And then she made things a hundred times worse, by asking a single question. A question he had no answer to. "I don't even know what happened. One moment I was talking to some nice guy, and then the next, he was threatening me about you. He pushed me, and I pushed back. He said all of these horrible things, and I wasn't going to take it. I feel horrible for using violence, you especially know how much I detest it, but Violet, I'm not taking it anymore. Not from anyone. I'm so sorry." He spoke softly, staring at the ground, unable to meet her piercing eyes. "Is there anything I can do to make things right?"
He tried to keep calm, tried not to panic. Things were falling at the seams in his life, and she was still hung up on Nathan. The guy was a jerk, but Christopher felt like he deserved her more anyway. Remembering his plan, he took a deep breath and thought about a mental checklist in his head. Apologize? Check. Explain? Sort of check. More apologies? Check. But the next thing on the list was the hardest, even harder than a peaceful parting. He decided that even though going through the pain was something he wasn't sure he could bear, the lion knew he had to be completely honest with Violet if he wanted to keep her heart. He bit his lip even harder, bringing even more blood. A trembling hand reached towards his bag, and he opened it, pulling out a crumpled up letter. He enclosed it in both hands before holding it out to her, staring fixedly at his shoes. His eyes cold, his face hard. Christopher went through his father's death with a twelve year old one more time.
SPOILER!!: Letter. <//3
To Mr. Christopher A. James and Miss Elyon F. James,
It was with a heavy heart we must deliver to you tragic news. Your father, Brian James, fought a long and hard battle with his cancer. He was a brave patient, and a good, brave man. But in the end, he could not battle it anymore. Brian James passed away last night at 9:57 p.m.
By this point, Christopher could barely breathe, let alone think straight, or keep his face emotionless, or stand up. He sat down against a tree, putting his arms wrapped around his knees, his head against the scratchy bark of the tree, inhaling and exhaling rather quickly. His eyes were squeezed shut, trying to block out any memories or images of his father. It was too soon. This must've been the karma for the horrible person he was being.

Nika skipped out to the terrace after a nice, long, and needed nap. She looked around and took in the smells of all the different flowers. Now to find the daisies. They were actually her favorite flowers, right next to daffodils! She smiled to herself as her eyes landed on a small patch of them. She pulled out a few so that not all of them would be gone.
Then she took out her scissors from her bag and cut a good five inches above the roots. She took out a fourth jar, this time being a bit bigger than the rest, and placed the roots inside. Making a check-mark in the air with her finger she jumped up and made her way to the kitchens.

Violet softly wiped the tears away from her cheeks trying to prevent them from continuing to fall all over her face. Then as she began to calm down she silently listened to Chris' explanation about what had happened with Nathan back at Hogsmeade. But what she had noticed was that while he was explaining to her what had happened he wasn't even looking her in the eyes. Instead his eyes were fixated on the floor which had upset her a little bit because she didn't understand why he couldn't look her in the eyes and speak to her directly. When he had asked her what he could do to make things right Violet paused and she herself relocated her gaze towards the ground.
She then took a deep breath and then her eyes redirected their attention towards Chris' hand and Violet's twitched a little bit. Her hand slowly began to reach towards his. The next moments that went by in her head were very hectic as multiple thoughts were zipping around her mind, 'Chris, I want you to know that..I love you...And I want this to work..And whatever bad happens in our lives...I'll always be here...Forever and always...' But then she stopped herself when she saw him suddenly saw him moved and reach into his bag and pulled out a letter and softly place it in her hand that was reaching for his.
Violet looked down at the letter for a moment and then slowly looked back up at Chris who had moved and walked over to a tree and sat leaning against it putting his arms wrapped around his knees, his head against the scratchy bark of the tree, inhaling and exhaling rather quickly. She then took another moment to look down at the letter he had given her and then a soft murmur escaped her lips, "...No..." With trembling dainty fingers she slowly began to open the letter and she could feel her heart rate beginning to increase in a matter of seconds.
Violet slowly read who was addressed to and she eyes began to read the first sentence. Tears immediately began forming again. Violet's eyes then looked up at Chris and she almost felt breathless as began to put one with the other. She couldn't even go onto the second sentence for she already knew what it said and she squeezed her eyes shut as she could feel the tears begin to stream down her face again. Violet's legs then began to wobble and she collapsed to the floor and she broke down in tears burying her faces in her hands. One of her arms dropped to the floor to support herself. Violet then looked at Chris distraught and tried to bring herself to her feet and when she had eventually done so she made her way over to Chris as she cried. When she got to him and knelt beside him and slowly wrapped her arms around his head and rested her head on top of his. She sniffled a little and managed to choke out softly,"C-Ch-Chris...I-I-I'm s-s-so.." Before she could even finish her apology she broke down again. What she was able to do was softly press her lips to his forehead and let it linger for a moment.

Christopher wasn't looking, up, but he could still hear. And what he heard right then was nothing. He was for sure this was it. This was the end of them. She was going to eventually say a few words, break him in two, and they would go their seperate ways. He glanced up quickly, and could tell she had a lot on her mind. Then again, who wouldn't be confused in a situation like this? It was certainly the worst he'd ever experienced, and he might've been confused on what he was going to do too. But he nearly always had a plan. Violet didn't. She was just so innocent, so childish, she was just sad. He never wanted to hurt her; but it was too late for that. What if he broke her beyond repair? She'd never forgive him. Nor would Selina. Especially not himself.
He was still in his position of sorrow when Violet looked over at him, and back at the letter. Back at him. Back at the letter. She knew what it was. He'd known too. They'd both known it was coming. They'd known it since second year. Well, Vi's first. He peeked up at her, seeing her gazing at the sender. He heard her mutter a denial and open the letter, hands shaking violently. The more he thought about it, the more he realized he should've told her himself. Violet wasn't going to handle something this hard; this blunt, very well.
She burst into tears and stumbled over to him. When he felt arms wrap around him, a chin resting on his head, tears dripping onto his hair, he sighed. Getting through this with Violet would heal him for now. But once she dumped him, it would make it worse. But for now, all he wanted was the pain to ease. Lips touched his forehead and he looked at Violet, who was now sitting down next to him, square in the eyes. All he wanted to do was crumple into her shoulder and calm her, but he had a bit of a better idea. Not breaking eye contact until the end of it all, Christopher leaned towards Violet. He'd only kissed her once, and it had been very brief, during the previous year. Now was the second time. His lips touched hers softly, but unlike last time, he didn't pull back. Things felt right. Even if it would make things painful later.

Violet wasn't even sure that if her holding his head was comforting him at all, but it was better than anything. For there were no words that Violet could even come up with to help him. Her hold on him must lasted about a minute or two in silence, but it felt like forever. Eventually she had slowly let go of him and then she had settled herself next to him.
When she did so she lightly placed her hand on his and there must have been another few moments of silence. Violet was focused on their feet until her violet eyes slowly traveled towards his face. Then she met his electric blue eyes and gazed into them intently. Violet was then taken by surprise when he began to slowly move his face towards hers. It didn't take long for Violet to realize what was about to happen. Violet could feel her heart begin to race as it had done before.
Then his lips had met with her as they had done so last year. Violet then instantly slowly closed her eyes and could feel her cheeks begin to warm up as they did last year. What was different about this kiss was that Chris didn't pull away almost instantly and run away, this time he made the kiss linger. Violet slowly lifted one of her hands and gently placed it on his cheek as their lips didn't part. What more could she ask for? Ever since their first 'very awkward' kiss, all Violet's wanted was for him to kiss her again and not run away. It felt like eternal bliss. This was the boy that Violet had fallen in love with.

When a hand found it's way to Christopher's face, he let his wrap themselves around Violet, pulling her closer. He wished this had been his first kiss. The first was so short, so awkward, he'd never really known what had happened, or how he'd felt. But now he new exactly how he felt. It was nice. What he felt everything going on in the world around him melt. It was just him and Violet, noone else. This was the happiest he'd been in a very, very long time. He never wanted the moment to end. It felt like years before they broke apart. But it wasn't a bad thing. Not in the slightest. The solitude she gave him was something he'd miss when he was gone. But for now, he ate it all up, spending as much time as he could just being happy. Being at peace.
They were sitting much closer now. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her into a side hug. Those minutes that had past had gone without speaking, but they needn't have; so many unsaid things had been shared that it was impossible not to feel light, and peaceful. He decided that they could talk about reality later. But now- now was not the time. He wasn't going to ruin a perfect moment with the subject of grief and despair. This was no pity party.

Violet smiled against his lips and reveled in the warmth that she always felt when she was with Chris. For a moment she swore her heart skipped a beat when he pulled her closer. She knew that if she was with anyone else she would have pulled away by then, but something abut the boy with the blue eyes made her feel safe. She could trust him. In a moment of deja vu she remembered the first look she had shared with Christopher James on the train. That had been an odd moment, a spark of sorts. Now with his arms around her and her hands wrapped up in his hair she knew what that feeling was-- she was not afraid.
When he pulled away her eyes fluttered open and she looked in his eyes. One look in those eyes and she knew that reality would be coming soon to threaten her fairytale moment, but for now the two had an unspoken truth-- this moment would be theirs before someone stole it away. So she let him wrap her up safe in his arms and she let her soft blonde hair kiss his chin and she snuggled into his chest. Softly she sighed out, "I love you..."
