The rules were it could be used for practice as long as one of the teams didn't have it reserved. Plus, it wasn't like they were attempting Starfish and Sticks or Wronski Feints. Just simple techniques. Rafe could feel her tense up. Elektra spoke of her previous flying experience with that man, and he didn't want her to start dreading flying again. Rafe wrapped his arms around the little second year and grabbed the handle. He turned the broom around and glided down just a few feet before his feet touch the ground. "Is there a problem sir?" Rafe asked with a raised eyebrow.

This was getting ridiculous. He took out his wand and pointed it in the direction of the Boy's Dormitories. Without speaking he used the "Accio" spell to retrieve his potions receipt. It took a moment, but soon enough and tattered piece of paper came fluttering in the air. Rafe grabbed the paper and put his wand back in his harness up his sleeve. He looked down and there it was, "3 galleons, 11 sickles, 8 knuts for Euphoria Elixir X5." He bought five bottles and now he was down to three. Everything was listed on there of what he bought that day, loads of bottles of Wolfsbane potion, a few Calming Draughts, and monkshood. He handed over the list to Vindictus, "Will this suffice?"


Clearly the elixir was wearing off. It was that Slytherin side coming out. He'd seen it often in others. "It's okay Elektra," he said as he patted her shoulder. "This isn't something to get worked up about."

Rafe could feel his temperature rising. His heartbeat was racing. He could NOT get angry right now, this wasn't the time. Not with a professor and Elektra right here. He took in deep breaths and closed his eyes to gain back some self control. Why was Vindictus such a jerk toward Elektra? Hadn't he given her enough grief. He opened his eyes and his iris was almost solid black. Rafe couldn't look at Elektra, he had to focus before he completely lost it.




Rafe bit his tongue. It took everything his power to not call Vidictus a git and jump on his broom and fly off with Elektra. Think. Happy. Thoughts.

Rafe scoffed as he picked up his broom. Forty points? Really?! It was a good thing Vindictus could read Rafe's mind, because it wasn't very pleasant at all. It was the kind of stuff that made mum's Scourgify your mouth out. He put his arm around Elektra to try and give her some sense of comfort and that everything was going to be okay, before turning his back on Vindictus and heading up to the castle.
