Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.
Every Paranoid Slytherin
Every house you diss
Every bludger you miss
Every word you hiss
Every doom you meet
They're watching you
Every wand-tip you lit
Every gambling trick
Every prefect you kiss
Every power fit
They're watching you
Oh don't you know
Snakes slither alone
They will look for you
For every chaos that issues
Every lie you speak
Every nervous tick
Every mental kick
Every evil mist
They're watching you
They are watching you
They'll be watching you
Slytherin watches you
I'll be watching you.

Alone
Have you ever felt alone in the world,
like you just don't belong.
Like everywhere you turn,
you do something wrong.
You zig instead of zag,
you're yin instead of yang,
you step instead of leap.
It's always one step forward,
and two steps back.
You wonder why they hate you,
or stab you in the back,
or turn away so easily.
They look away when you're in pain,
and laugh when you fall.
They tease you because you're different,
because they are all the same.
They hate the way you think,
and laugh at your ideas.
Know you're not alone.
They're the same as you,
unique in many ways,
but hide it from society.
Never speaking their mind,
hiding their emotions.
Have you ever felt alone in the world?
Know you're never alone.
"We can try," Helena said with a shrug, glancing at her Arithmancy textbook that was still there on the table. Well... she wasn't that bad, but she didn't quite know what to do without her textbook or professor Hadley. And STILL, it was all messed up in her head.
"I'll help you anytime you want," the girl smiled, "if I can," she added quickly with a tiny grin. She was not even close to being perfect, after all.
"Umm..Yeah I guess." Freya shrugged. Helena didn't mean right now. Wasn't she? She hoped not because she couldn't handle Arithmancy after eating, she could vomit. Not literally of course.
"Okay. I hold on to that then." she smirked. The blonde wouldn't waste any help she could get. She would definitely go seek Helena if she need any help in the future.
Fee just smiled at William,it was sweet that he was looking for her."Oh well maybe people just didnt hear you",the girl shrugged her shoulders,"actually they all know me."sometimes her housemates just didnt feel like answering.Maybe they were in a bad mood or eating.hehe."Dont be sad little one",the girl ruffled his hair,"its not worth it."Seeing the smile on Willy's face again she smiled too.it was bad to see him sad,she couldnt stand it."Aww did you miss me?",the girl wiggled her eyebrows.
" Well, that seems to be a major problem, no one ever hearing me" William told Fee sadly." I know a lot of people know you and I guess that do not know I am your friend" Willaim said to Fee even more sadly. " Everyone all my so-called freinds, not including you or my girlfriend Katalin or Rex's sister Victoria or Ronnie, or Roxane or Sarah, very nice girls do not talk or listen to me at all" Wiliam expalined to Fee, then sighed. " How come Rex never had this problem?" William asked Fee. " No one listened to me at the Gryffindor Common Room about the meeting of all Gryffindors' Willaim sighed and almost cried.
Did you know Presley, a good friend of Rose's and mine, said she would listen to both ssides of why we broke up, but Presley never leisteend to my side and I am completely baffled" Willaim did more expaining to Fee. " I really want Hugo to be my friend, he is very smart, but alas he will not be my friend ,either" he told Fee. "What am I going to do?" William asked Fee. " I am really hurt but the girls Presley, Rose and Rose's best friend, Cleo think I act like a baby when I cry, but I am 11 years old and so are they" he said to Fee.
" I really need your help" Wiliam tried to force a smile.

Helena was sooo tempted to ask Freya whether she wanted to start or not, but she decided not to. Nope, it really didn't sound like a good idea. Some people were actually enjoying their free time, you know? And besides, she didn't want to sound like some desperate freak who can't get her hands off the textbooks or something.
At Freya's next statement, the girl only grinned. It was a good thing to know that she may have found someone to study with. Hehe.
Buuuut anyway. Enough about school subjects, assignments and studying. "You played Quidditch last term, didn't you?" Helena asked curiously, hoping that she didn't mind. Or... waaaait. She did play Quidditch, right? If not, that would be one of her most embarrassing moments of her life.

He wondered if he had a quill and notebook on him. This whole interviewing thing seemed fun. Maybe he could come up with his own questions and join her on whatever project she was working on. "My father is the only one who reckons I'm sane. Except that I've also been told by many people, including my mother and best friend, that my father is just as insane, if not more, than I am."
He sat up straight once more, giving a non-commital shrug. "Like father, like son, I suppose."
He wondered if he'd be able to read the notes she was making about him. Probably not, but maybe he could sneak a peek at them somehow.
Macy looked up from her notebook, smirking. Yes, she liked this boy. She liked him a lot. Mhmm. So much that she was going to cut the act and, *GASP* have an actual conversation... Sorta.
"You have a name?" she asked, looking up through the hair that had fallen over her face. PFFFFFTT. She blew up at it irritably. Stupid stuff never did like to stay in one place.
"It's a good thing you have low levels of sanity then. I don't associate with sane people," she added. Unless you count Belle. But she never counted Belle. Besides, it wasn't like they enjoyed each other's company or anything. No, they mostly hung around each other specifically with the intentions of insulting one another until somebody couldn't come up with another witty remark.

Freya was glad that they didn't start their Arithmancy season right now. But at least now she know where to go if she had trouble with the lessons.
She couldn't help to smile when Helena mentioned about Quidditch. The third year was really glad that the younger Slytherin decided to change the subject from the school subjects to her favorite subject and sport, Quidditch. "Umm..Yeah. I did play last term." she answered. "How about you? Do you play?" she asked.

Phew.
At least Helena remembered right, and didn't make a fool of herself. It would've been embarrassing if she wasn't. Because... you know, she's been to every match.
She also smiled back when she noticed how relieved Freya seemed to be, as she stopped talking about anything school related. See? THAT was called a normal person.
But then... Helena's jaw was about to drop open, as Freya asked if she was playing Quidditch. Noooo no no no no. "I don't... fly," the girl said, feeling her cheeks turn bright red. "I'm... afraid of heights." And not proud of it.

Blink once. Blink twice. What?! Did she hear Helena say that she didn't fly?! Yup, I guess I did hear right."Y-you..you don't fly?" Freya asked with a surprise tone. She never met someone who didn't like to fly. Helena was the first one and she was pretty curious why the younger Slytherin didn't like it.
Then she had her answer.
"You afraid of heights?" she said more like a statement than a question. That made sense but honestly after you flied in the air the feeling would be gone well at least to her its though. "I was used to afraid of heights too." she told Helena. But that was a long time ago. "Have you try flying before?" she asked.

EEEEEP she was ridiculous, wasn't she? Yes, she was, from the look on Freya's face. At least she felt ridiculous. "I don't," Helena repeated, slowly shaking her head, but it came out as a whisper.
Afraid of heights? No. TERRIFIED.
Helena nodded at her question. And yes, she knew it was silly. "I flied last year, since I was a first year and I had to learn how to fly... eventually, but all I could do was barely hover above the ground." And the girl's cheeks turned into an even brighter shade of red. "I'm glad that year is over," she mumbled. Uhh they felt like a torture, the flying lessons.

He was about to tell her his name, really. Except that something told him it would be a lot funner if he didn't. Never mind the fact that from the looks of it she probably would have enjoyed the fact that his name is Jimbo, he decided that he was going to leave out that piece of information for as long as he could.
Which couldn't be very long considering he was The Farley and was way, way too awesome to be overlooked. Besides his name was one of the most important things about him.
"Obviously I have a name. The question is, do you really need to know it?" And okay, so she was interviewing him and his name might be a very important piece of information but whatever.
Her next statement made him assume that she had 'low levels of sanity' as well. He might like her. "I don't very much like to associate with sane people either." Except maybe a certain someone...
But she didn't count.
Besides, his insanity was contagious if you hung around him as much as Monty does.

"Is this part of the interview?"
OOOOH. So he was gonna be difficult now was he? Mneh. Well then.
"Yes. It's all part of procedure," Macy explained. Her procedure anyways. Pfft. She had no idea what she was doing with this information. Blackmail. So really, there was nothing to be afraid of... Unless you were afraid of Macy. Then you had very good reasons to be afraid.
From the way he answered her next statement, the girl assumed he was leading on with something. Something he wasn't likely to share. Fine by her. If it involved sane people, she was out.
"Err, yes." The interview. Right. Because she was interviewer girl. And thus was interviewing him. For his... Interview. "It's all relative," she assured him. Relative to what? She had no idea. Tacos maybe.

Prefect Lovegoods lounged at the Slytherin table awaiting the arrival of her fellow housemates. The table itself was decorated with it's usual flatware, excluding all the delicious food that the house elves provided on a day to day basis. There was also a few more items that the house elves didn't provide on the table as well. But she wasn't paying any of them any attention. She was searching the hall for any yellow that was coming near the table.
The sooner they came to this task, the sooner SHE could snack.

Okay that was a slight exaggeration but it had felt like it.

Freya didn't think someone who afraid of height was ridiculous. No. Not at all. Beside she was afraid of heights too when she's a little girl before Elliot introduced her to Quidditch. She should thanks that boy one day.
"So it means you never flied far from the ground?" she asked. Because it'd be so much different filling if you're flying in the broom. Once you're up in the air height won't be so much trouble for her at least. Hmm..Maybe she could asked Helena flied sometimes

Conan looked sheepish, as he entered the Great Hall. He hoped there was no magic food in here. He had worked it out that they needed to be here. But he hadn't been sure which table. Since there were 4. Thankfully he hadn't tried another table, Slytherin was the one he had approached first. And there was Arya. That was a good sign. Still no Treyen though.
"I'm here," he said excitedly. "Hello," he waved at the older girl that wasn't Arya.

Simon was annoyed so sending down an house elf to the place where the meeting was suppose to happen was suppost to be funny well Simon didn't think it was and he was sure it was Treyen doing and so he was suprised when he didn't see Treyen in the Great Hall and why had they picked the Slytherin Table and not the Hufflepuff table.
Emmaleigh shufled along with the rest of her housemates, on their journey to figure out what was going on. She started heading straight to the hufflepuff table until she realised that the others had veered off course. Pausing to see where the went, she saw them heading in the opposite direction. Scurrying to catch up with the others, she had no clue why the were heading to the slytherin table until she arrived and saw her prefect sitting there. "Hello" she said as she took a seat near the prefect.

"Exactly," Helena replied with a nod, while she felt her cheeks burning. Uhh it was soooo embarrassing! Buuuut no, she was so not going to even try to fly higher. She didn't even want to touch a broom. And she had a good reason as well.
The girl pulled up her left sleeve, to show Freya the scar that was still there on her forearm. "I have this since I was four. Maybe that's where my fright came from," she said, then pulled her sleeve back. Seeeee? She wasn't completely insane for not wanting to fly.

Ness had listened to the house elf in the common room and she finally figured out where to go. She immediately. She still didn't get why the prefects wanted to meet them, but she was too curious not go found out. "Hey!" Said Ness as she sat down at the table. She smiled at Arya, which had never really met properly, but she knew she was a prefect. Ness thenn waited to see what was next.

What she was even more confused about was the fact they weren't even over at their own table. Joining the small group of people there, Kaia muttered a quick 'Hiya' and sighed.
"Sooooo... did our table get moved over here or something?" You know, just to check so she could make sure when she came to get food she headed to the right table and such. Nothing to do with questioning people's knowledge and stuff.

Amy followed a few Puffs out of the common room and to the great hall, unsure of what was actually going on, the last thing she had known was she had been stuffing cookies into her greedy gob and the lights had gone out. And greeny had appeared. Oh, they were doing "hai"s? Hai she murmered before dropping down onto the table.

Hehe. "Your in the right place." Arya turned her attention to her friend, the first to arrive. The prefect was beginning to worry about her Puffs not being able to find her at the snake table. Or maybe she was just ready for this to be over just as much as they were, for different reasons of course. Heh.
The girl grinned and returned greetings to all those who arrived, but she didn't make a move from her relaxed position until the Quidditch Captain had come to join her.

"Hey, Emily!" Hopping up from her seat excitedly, she stood on the bench, making certain that all the badgers present could see her. She of course motioned for the fourth year to join her before turning her attention to all the waiting students. "Hey guys!! Ya'll have probably figured out by now that there is no prefect meeting." Or at least she hoped they'd realized this. "We prefects have something that is ten times better than any old meeting with cookies; something that has been hidden on the grounds for years and was recently revealed to us. And all of what you will be doing now will lead you all to this special something." Hehe. "And no, it's not the old ship." Though that was awesome too.
Arya paused to let that bit of information sink in. And maybe because she was having too much fun with this. "They say badgers are particularly good finders. Well, this task will test that 'special skill' of ours." She flourished her hand over the table beside her fully decorated, but missing food and Puff coloring. "As you can see, we're not at our own table, nor is there any food here. What IS at this table, however, is something that was greatly valued by out beloved house's founder. Twenty somethings to be exact. The item that was destroyed back in the second wizarding war has been remade and duplicated for this task, and mixed with the regular dinnerware for you to find." She held a finger up to keep them from destroying the table before she could finish speaking.
"Not all are needed though, only four contain hidden clues that will lead to the next task. Clues that need to be made one to get to the next task, and clues that will be essential to complete the next task with a separate house." She sure did hope they got all of that. "Now, go on and.... find things!" Hehe. "Trust me, you'll know when you've found something." And if they didn't well... she and Emily were here for a reason.
OOC: rules/guidance.
- Basically, your character's job is to search the table for one of the twenty 'items'.
- You are allowed to post that you've found an item after your FIRST post, and then only one can be found per post.
- Please don't post saying you've found an item that contains a clue, that's for me and EmilyMalfoy to do.
- Once all the clues are found they need to be put together to figure out the next task's location.
- Observation, Patience and creativity are key!
- If you have any questions at all, we're just a PM/VM away.
- Have fun! It's mandatory.

Conan frowned for a moment. Something that was destroyed during the second war? He had no idea what happened during either of the wars. He didn't even know there was a war. He peered at the table. It was a CUP it had to be a cup. Or a plate. But the plates looked normal.
"Is it a cup?" he asked.

Hopping off the bench, Arya nodded her head at the second year. "Yup, I promise you'll know it when you find it. It's mixed in with the regular dinnerware." The same dinnerware they'd seen every meal, so it shouldn't be too difficult to spot out cups that didn't belong, even if they hadn't ever seen them before.

Conan frowned. What did the regular dinnerware look like? It wasn't like he ate here, ever. He had even tried to avoid the start and end of term feasts. But he wasn't allowed.
He looked at the cups though. The one had no handles, and that one had two. He peered up the table. There were more smaller, no handled ones than there were with 2 handles. "I got it," he cheered, holding out the two handled one. "This is it right?" He hoped. At least he hadn't suggested plate. That would've made it worse.
