If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:

The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room is a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Some of the chairs had been transfigured into Chaise Lounges by previous seventh years, and never turned back. There are no windows as the common room is located under the lake and a fire burning green in the fireplace, before the rug covered floor. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as pride is one of this house's qualities.

This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a straircase straight ahead that leads to a room students may use as a quiet place to study, and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a staircase that goes down to the Boys Dorm, and to the right a staircase that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each staircase is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.

On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements and signup sheet with the words 20 minutes max on it, for those wanting to sit on the couch and stare at the fire all emo like. On one of the coffee tables you see a copy of the Slytherin Scroll, a newsletter only for Slytherin Students.

A box is on an end table, where you may sign up for or to be a Serpent Sidekick, and a podium with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

She slipped on the bracelet and turned to smile at him. "So..." she said softly- "I guess there's no better time than now to find out more about each other... I guess I didn't know as much as I thought I did, and I'm sure you don't know everything about me yet" she smiled at him warmly. "Of course you'll wanna know about the time Dan pushed me down the stairs when we were little. Our Au Pair nearly had a heart attack" she smirked, before she pulled up her hair slightly, hidden behind her ear was a scar from that. "I'm not ashamed of having a scar like that- it makes me... me. Although it would have been nice if Dan hadn't pushed me" she smirked.

Walking into The Common Room flushed with emerald green suddenly Zenobia was up and alive early in the morning with nothing to do,"this is quite unusual" she talked to herself rubbing her bright blue eyes.Being an overachiever she was up late doing Divination Homework,as she moseyed down on the big leathery couch it seemed to swallow her. Inside the Common room for the first time Ever she seemed content about her surroundings with a big *sigh*"feels like home I suppose"She announced loudly as if anyone could hear her anyway. :sevribbon:

She grabbed the mit and somehow caught the ball with the mit(without putting it on might I add), and with other hand caught the bat. Maisie laugh a little, "your better than me! Fallon came down from the girls dorm, clutching her newest photography book. She plopped down on an empty part of the sofa, ignoring anyone else that was around her. She wanted to relax and read. It kept her from thinking of the confusing relationship that she had with Finn. She knew they needed to figure it out sooner or later...but not just yet. Fallon let out a sigh as she opened the book and took in the beautiful landscapes...

Evan entered the common room, with a banana in his hand, obviously down from the lunch. He was directed towards the boys' dorms, but a girl got his attention and he smiled to himself. It was Fallon, a girl he had some past with... and someone he always had time for.

"Hello, stranger," he said, grinning as he took the seat next to her. He was careful not to stare at the book, maybe it was her diary or something... "Remember me?" Although it was a joke, they were almost at that stage of not remembering each other.

Fallon was glad she wasn't hit again. She would have had to get back at him. It would have been fun...but then they wouldn't have finished their conversation.

Her little brother had made the decision to be home schooled and there was nothing she could do about it. He was missing out. Woah. Fallon had NOT expected this. Apparently: she wasn't thinking again. "Finn Carmicheal." She repeated herself, just to make sure that Evan had heard correctly. Wait...what? This was the first Fallon had heard about this. It was starting to look like last term all over again. He'd already passed the dating thing. Maybe if she ignored it: she could forget that he'd said it. "Nothing. Don't worry about it." She turned her head so it wasn't facing him anymore. Now she was regretting confiding in Evan. It just made her feel worse...
