He wanted his crying to be a secret? Hmm... "Nah, I think I'd rather just go and tell all your friends about it. I'm sure they'd love to hear about," she replied teasingly. "That'll keep your little sixth year self in check." So he couldn't be all smug about having the same name as a character as famous and cool as Darth Vader. But Merlin talking about being a sixth year felt so weird because she would be a sixth year too next year. And that was something she had a hard time believing. Vashti was still trying to get used to being a fifth year really.

What did he sound so smug for? "Admit what?" She hadn't admitted anything. Or at least she didn't think she did anyway.

She supposed so. There wasn't anything in the book to suggest otherwise so- Her mind went blank.

She probably should have been thinking about the room she wanted the magical place to conjure up, but she was extremely distracted by the fact that he was holding her hand. Why she was so distracted by it she wasn't sure, but her mind would focus on nothing else until after the second time they passed the tapestry. It was then that she mentally shook herself, set her mind on what was actually important at the moment, and hope it still worked even though she hadn't been concentrating the entire time. Surely it would if Anakin wasn't as unfocused as she was.

Hmm. Smiling, she glanced around to the others, seeing that they were already giving him their gifts. Perfect! Her time here was cut in half since she didn't have to wait around for everyone to get to the gifts part.

Her turn! "Oh erm...here." Holding out the orange and red flashing striped paper bag, she quietly cleared her throat, paying attention to anything other than the horrible wrapping. "It's...well it's not much. I didn't know what to get you but...please don't be nice and give any to Destiny if she finds out and asks you."

Why he shouldn't give any to Destiny? Because inside the bag held a handful of chocolate frogs, sugar quills (deluxe variety of course), droobles best blowing gum, fizzing whizzbees, chocoballs, taffy, liquorice wands, and jelly slugs. Perhaps a few extra sweets here and there as well, Evelyn didn't really know. She just grabbed random stuff and...well...here was Simon's gift.

"I love them!" Presley replied excitedly. "My favorite is muggle studies becuase, well my mum was a muggle, so I thought I knew a lot about it, but I'm still learning new stuff every day! The only thing I wish is that we had some kind of a theatre program. What about you? How do you like classes?" Pres felt like she'd talked too much, so she directed the conversation toward Emmy. Emmy obviously had some amazing musical talent, playing four instruments. Presley was still a little in awe of her.

Mina smiled at the mention of her best friend's name and nodded. "Yes, that would be me," she replied. It was still kind of funny to hear herself being referred to as his best friend after not hearing it for two years. "You would think Carter would have introduced us already," she added with a shake of her head. "But you know how he is at times." Yeah, they would surely have to give him a hard time for not introducing them sooner.

Evan shrugged. It was his duck, after all, and if he thought he couldn't mess that much to hurt it, he would take his word. He moved to the centre with him, and laughed a little at his enthusiasm for the blasting spell. He considered a few of them, trying to decide which was best. Expulso should do it for now, he figured. He didn't want to do anything with the fire for now; if the spell went bad he might not be able to control it.

"So, I guess we can start with Expulso," he said, looking distracted for a moment as he decided it was the best to start with. "But, before anything... I don't think you're incapable or anything," he said softly, bending down to have the eye contact better with him. "It's just that... too dangerous. I don't want them to collect your skull after a bludger hits it!" He shuddered visibly. "Watch a normal, professional match. You'll see the dangers. It's... I don't get what's fun about that..." He sighed to himself. Hopefully, Daichi would back out.

"Let's start, shall we?" he asked, summoning a pillow with a wave of his wand. Exploding pillow was pretty safe for now.

Stumbling in Serena relised that, no this was not the girls bathroom but an odd little room filled with the most random things she could think of. Think she had come across a mental version of Wonderland she walked in to explore. After taking a few steps and looking around the was a quiet *poof* and a shower of feathers fell over her. Serena the heard a mumbled voice and ducked behind a cupboard to see what was happening.

Expulso.. the name sounded cool. Daichi couldn't wait to learn it. He grabbed his wand that he had pocketed earlier again and waited for Evan to do the spell first when he started to bend down to look at him.

What the?!

Daichi listened , wide eyed as the Prefect told him he doesn't think he is incapable of anything. Tears of happiness started to build up in the corner of his eyes. No one had EVER said such words to him! not even his father! Daichi leaned forward and gave Evan a big hug before letting him go. "Thank you for worrying about me but.." Daichi stood up and held his head up high, hands on his hips. "I'm going to try and play in the match! I want to show everybody that i'm not just a small kid!"

Daichi eye-smiled at Evan when said person had summoned a pillow. He figured that they were going to explode them. "I'm ready!" he said and held his wand out , waiting for the Prefect's instructions.

Anakin eyed her, before giving a small pout at his reply. She was gonna teeeeell people? "Are you blackmailing me now Queenie?" Although, he supposed technically it wasn't blackmailing..yet, she wasn't getting anything in return. So what did that make it? A threat? Or just a statement? "Don't make me dig something up on you." Although he wasn't sure he could find much. Oh...wait...sixth year? Anakin's eyes widened, and his shoulders drooped slightly. "Don't remind me. It means OWL's are coming up." Which made him want to cry even HARDER.

Anakin gave her a slight wink, chuckling a little bit. "Whatever I say. I took that as a confirmation that everything I say is right." And he was quite pleased she'd admitted it. BEAAAM.

Ani was just a little too conscious of the fact his hand was holding hers, but he didn't say anything on the matter. And he wasn't in the right frame of mind to analyze why that was at this particular moment anyways. He needed to focus on the room, by the third time he walked past and was able to stop, the 5th year loosened his hold on her hand, but didn't completely let go. "Ready to loook?" Of course, he wasn't actually going to wait.

Pushing open the freshly appeared door, Anakin wanted to repeatedly hit his head on the wall. It had transformed into a woodpaneled floor, surrounded with weird bars along the walls and LOTS of mirrors. It was almost creepy. "Have YOU seen anything like this before?"

Was she blackmailing him? Was that the right term? Yeah, sure, why not. "Maaaaaybe," she drawled, trying to make as innocent an expression as possible. Which probably wasn't very innocent. "Oh yeah? Good luck with that." She was a gooood girl sorta, there was nothing to dig up. Hehe. But agh! OWLs! "Haven't you been studying?" She had.

"Pfffft." Vashti rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling still. "That was more of a 'I'm just going to ignore whatever you say because it's not important' than anything. You're definitely not always right."

...And he was still holding her hand.

Oh wait, he'd said something?

She nodded, hoping that was the right answer to what he had said - and it must've been because the next moment they were walking into the newly created...

...ballet studio?

Vashti couldn't help laughing. "Looks like a ballet studio to me," she said. "Definitely not the kind of dancing this assignment requires." But she supposed it didn't have to be exclusively for ballet...did it? Was there a difference between dance studios? That was something she honestly didn't know.

Kyle blushed slightly as Mina congratulated her as well, they had both done well in tryouts yeah - but she had felt that Mina had done far better than her. Still, she'd be excited. "Well, atleast we made it to the team - and we'll have fun" she smiled softly. Yes, fun was exactly what they would have. And loads of it.

Sshe smiled happily, yes it was nice meeting people and making friends. And Kyle just loved making friends. "well, atleast you two have met now" she smiled happily. Yes it was good.

Looking up she spotted another girl talking to Simon - wasn't that Josh's girlfriend? She thought with a smile she'd never met her yet but this was really the first time she had even been around Josh other than classes. It'd be nice to alteast meet both of them as well. Still, she stayed where she was more afraid she'd get sick if she moved. A headache had swung in like a punch to the side of the face. It was not fun but she'd manage. She always managed.

"Of course...especially all the good memories," Simon replied in agreement. Today was certainly gonna top his list of good thoughts this term and it was only three months in. He just hoped they had either the house or quidditch cup or both to add to that to end his years hear at Hogwarts with a bang.

He had noticed the younger girl's embarishment over his decision, editing it to a maybe more the a definate in case Selina really wasn't comfortable with him putting that pressure on her gift. "Well then we'll just have to see what happens when the time comes...eh?" he mused almost rhetorically looking between Mina and Selina. The captain did know he'd at least have to break them both in before the first match so he was prepared for whatever his final decision turned out to be.

Simon turned back to Evelyn as she cleared her throat slightly to get his attention, only then noticing that she held a gift as well not having fully expected anything from the Slytherin girl. But then again Caroline had gotten him something which she needn't had to either. "It's enough," he assured her with a soft smile glancing in the bag to see what was inside.

"Thank you...and I'll be sure to keep it away from her....and Carter," he teased glancing with a smirk at his housemate. "Don't need a repeat of the night when Sophie made the candy rain down from the ceiling."

Blushing as Simon commented to her, she smiled. Trying to relax, but the blush was not subsiding. Oh boy this was getting obvious to everyone wasn't it? She was like a neon sign with her bright red cheeks.

"Well, shhum" that wasn't even a word. Oh boy, her hand shook slightly so she started playing with the edge of her dress. Thank you for something to fiddle with. The rign would have been far too obvious. "Yeah, and well you know what if you ever want a picture of a happy memory just give me an owl and I'll try and make it possible to remember it for you" she smiled over to him. Eyelashes batting slightly more because she couldn't stop blinking than anything else. It almost looked like there was something in her eye, but no, this was just her being a nervous wreck.

Caroline returned the smile to Mna.It was finally nice to meet the girl that was her boyfriends best friend. She had actucally heard alot about her, and was very excited to finally meet her. No thanks to Carter "Well its finally nice to meet you, Mina and thanks for introducing us, Kyle" with a small laugh. It was funny though, that Kyle had been the one to introduce her to Mina, since she had introuced her to Carter. She remember them talking about making the team. "Well Congrats to both of you for making the team." Yep it was offical Caroline was the only one of her friends who didn't make there houses team. Which was okay she guessd she had plenty of friends to cheer for but none on her own house team. What had happen to all of her fellow snake friends? It was like they had all disappeared or moved away.

"I think he has been trying to get to it. Between tryouts, and homework, that stuff." Was she defending him. Yes, even after their spat last night. She was going to have a good time at the party and try not to worry about it. Even with him there. She nodded "Oh yeah I know how he is" or maybe she was just now learning the way he really was. They would have to give him an ear full for not introducing them sooner in the term. Caroline like Mina she seem nice.


Caroline noticed Kyle talking to Simon. Keeping an extra watchful eye on her, just in case she would need to her give her a proper kick before she says too much. Noticing the Kyle was in distress she turned back to Mina, she really would have liked to stay and talk to Mina, they would have plenty of time to talk more later, but Kyle looked like she needed a kick or a snap to reality even, maybe. She frown as the spoke to Mina. "I'll be right right back"

Walking over to Kyle she put her hand on her shoulder, resurringly as she looked a bit of a nervous wreak and to need of an interventon "Kyle, you alright?" she asked her just for her to hear.

She hadn't even realized that she had walked back towards Simon after they had spoken, not until Caroline had showed up right next to her. Wait? Hadn't she been talking to Caroline and Mina. Man, she was really off of her game - or her rocker. But that was a term her mum had used when talking about her great-gran not someone her own age. No she wasn't cenile. She was just, nervous. Very nervous.

Still, all she could think was thank merlins shorts Caroline had walked over to 'save' the day. As she spoke Kyle nodded. "I-yeah, I'm fine thanks" she smiled over to her. She had spoken earlier to Caroline when she hadn't been 'alright' persay. "I guess...I'm just excited about Quidditch" she admitted blushing lightly and diverting the attention from who she had been walking towards. What was with her new confidence - her new 'rage' almost. And why did she get a sudden urge to slap a certain Professor? That wasn't normal. Sure she didn't like him all that much but he'd take her off the Qudditch team and possibly expel her. Not now, not ever, would she get expelled.

She smiled over to Caroline. "So, sorry about distracting you from Mina" she whispered. "But thanks," and the double meaning there was surely understood between the two of them that is.

Zara was almost done setting up Nessie's birthday. She's done it, but not sure where the people are. Maybe it would be a private birthday? Wow, she sure was a party planner. Though, Zara still wonders where Matt is, and Ella, and the others. *sigh*

Guess they've got something to do. Or maybe they'll come later. But as of now, she was alone. And she'll have to pursue this on her own. Making last preparations, she made one last look at the view in front of her. All right, music was there, cake, food, balloons and all. Zara couldn't believe she did this all by herself. Now to fetch Nessie over, and try to find some people to join them. Right. Zara skipped out of the room in search of Nessie.

" Zara, I am here" Wi;;iam told her. " I can't wait for it to get started" William said to Zara. " You need any help?" William asked Zara.

Wait, why was the little man crying?! Had he said something wrong? Though, his panic was calmed down as Evan understood they were the tears of happiness. Phew. He patted his shoulder during the hug and smiled at him. Of course he was worrying about him! He was sort of under his protection now, and he didn't want to see Daichi hurt, especially not for a stupid Quidditch.

"You aren't just a small kid!" he said, pausing as he noticed how ironic that sounded. "Okay, maybe physically, but... just... don't do anything stupid while trying to be the little hero, OK?" And definitely do NOT jump in front of the bludger, even if it then hits the seeker who is about to catch the snitch...

Now that Quidditch issue was... not sorted out, but oh well, Evan untied his necktie and sleeves to give himself a better motion space, then turned to Daichi to explain.

"I've never thought about the wand-motion for this one actually... I just do it, y'know, the way it looks the most harmful... and the easiest, of course, at that time." That sounded vicious, but it was an exploding spell. Then, holding his wand out, he threw his arm from up to the bottom like holding a whip, only doing it with an angle as if drawing a cross. He sternly said "Expulso!" and the pillow exploded into pieces, a rain of feather running on them. He shrugged, and turned to Daichi. This one was pretty easy...

Hesitantly entering the Room of Requirement, Aiden looks around for Zara. As she finds her, she smiles faintly before offering help. "Do you need any help?"

"How on earth am I going to find it?" Tayla thought, hoping she wouldn't get lost or enter the wrong room. "Nessie's birthday party. I need to go to the room where Nessie's birthday party is."

"Oh!" Tayla said in surprise, as a door appeared and Zara walked out of it. "Zara! I'm glad I found you. Thanks for inviting me. Is Nessie here yet?"

Before leaving the room, Zara saw William and Aiden enter. YEEEY. People. More people. Woohoooo!

She grinned widely. Ohh, help? "Sure, you two can do some kind of surprise once Nessie comes in. I'll go on ahead and fetch her...and other people." She gave them one last smile and said, "Thanks for coming by the way."

OHH, Tayla. More more people. "Hello there Tayla, glad you could make it," she grinned. "No, not yet. I'm off to find her. Wanna come? Or you can stay and help William and Aiden prepare some kind of surprise or anything." Nessie, Nessie, where can she be?

" Hi, I am William Starr" he introduced himself to her. " So how do you know Nessie?" William asked her.

" Hi, how are you?" William said to Tayla. " So you know Nessie, too" William said to Tayla. " I can't wait to surprise her" William told Tayla.

" We will help you" William told Zara. " How about baloons , fancy napkins and plates that say those special words?" William asked Zara. A cake, too would be cool" William said to Zara.

Surprises... She has never been to a party before. At least not the casual ones. All she has been to were balls and formal parties.

Surprises... Aiden wonders what kind of surprise should she make. Should she use Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks she bought at Zonko's the other day?

"I think I better stay. She'll be more surprised and less suspicious if only one of us goes," Tayla replied. "I'll go help William and Aiden. Good luck!"

Tayla entered the room. "Hmmm...we need party poppers." At that moment, a number of party poppers appeared in one side of the room. "Awesome! This will be perfect when Nessie arrives.

"Everyone, grab one party popper as you enter. We'll pop it and say 'Happy Birthday Nessie' when Nessie arrives." She hoped this would work.


"Hi there! You must be Aiden," Tayla greeted. "I'm Tayla. Do you know how to work these poppers?" Tayla furrowed her eyebrows. They looked a little different than she was used to. "Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet-Start, No-Heat Fireworks," she read.

So it was Nessies birthday? Awesome thought Daisy. A party at Hogwarts would be cool. Daisy walked into the room of requirement, which was the fullest she'd ever seen the room.
'Hi guys,' she smiled 'how are you all?'
