| | |  Meeting with the Prefects
While you were all out watching the Slytherin vs. Gryffindor match (or avoiding the shenanigans by staying in your dorm), your prefects have set up for their meeting with you in the common room.
As you walk into the common room, you'll notice nothing out of the ordinary as Arya and Treyen didn't do any decorating for the meeting aside from the tray of cookies set up on a table near the fireplace. You'll also notice that neither prefect is in the room.
Odd.
There is, however, a large piece of parchment affixed to the side of the mantelpiece around the fire. It reads the following:

We're sorting out the last couple of things we forgot that we need for today. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves patiently while you wait for us; we won't be too long.
Feel free to take a cookie or two from the plate on top of the mantel.
Arya & Treyen
OOC: Feel free to RP your characters coming to the meeting, and light RP chatter is okay; just please don't swamp this thread. There is still the general Common Room thread to chatter excessively in.
The meeting will start in approx. 12 hours, in order to allow everyone to show up, first.

Ness walked in the common room looking around, she expected to see the prefects,but they were no where to be seen. She then spotted a parchment affixed on the side of the mantelpiece. Nessie walked over then read what was on the parchment. She then took a cookie to nibble on , as they looked delicous. She then sat down and waited for other people to start arriving, as she seemed to be the first.

Conan shuffled his way into the meeting. He had made his way out his dormitory, so this had better be good. He'd shout at Treyen later if it wasn't. He was confused as to what this was though, but he was loyal to his Treyen, so he was here.

Pam walked into the common room and noticed that she was one of the first few people to arrive. As she was walking to an empty seat, she saw a plate of cookies on a table near the fireplace. "Oooh,cookies!", She thought happily to herself as she made her way towards it, and grabbed one off the plate. "Mm,not bad",She thought to herself as she took a bite of the cookie. She then went to sit down to wait for everyone else to show up.

Cassie walked into the common room and looked around. There was no sign of Arya or Treyen anywhere but there was a note and two second years and a first year. Great she was early...totally not her style, she preferred being fashionable late, but she liked these prefects so she took a seat on the arm of a chair.
"Hmm..hi,"she said greeting the room at large.

COOKIES! And that was basically the only reason why Chandler had forced himself down the staircase and into the Common Room. That and it was all important and..important sounding. But as soon as Chandler came face to face with the Common Room there was no one even there. Pfftt, it really did look important. Unless there were others coming which he had hoped there was because he did NOT want to be alone with people that he didn't know, except for Cassie. That was okay right? Cassie was his friend and he wasn't ALOOONE! GRIINN.
Chandler eyed the rest of the students and then the cookies and slowly began to get close to the cookies and then suddenly swiping lots a few cookies and began to munch them loudly with a great big grin plastered on his face, hoping to take away the silence. Hey, no one said that he couldn't eat the cookies whilst waiting. | |

She was sure there was supposed to be some sort of meeting with the prefects, but as Emmaleigh entered the common room, she didn't see either of her wonderful prefects. It looked like it usually did, only a little less crowded, which was odd considering all the people who should be attending the meeting. Had she some how gotten the date or time wrong? she thought as she made her way to her favorite chair. As she walked by the fireplace, she saw a note placed upon it. So it looked like she had been right. Well, she would just wait for them.

Simon was annoyed he could be outside doing things instead he had been told there was a Prefect meeting happening, the last time there was one was when he was in his first term and he hated it, if it wasn't for the fact his friend Treyen was a prefect and would yell at him if he didn't turn up, he would have skipped this one.

House meeting? Lockhart didn't even mention anything about a house meeting. Must have been something that just came up. Walking into the Common Room, Damien searched for faces he recognized; Ness was here already, and that was about the only person he knew. Where was Isobel. More important than that, where was Treyen? If this were a House Meeting, then surely he would already have been camping out waiting for everyone else to arrive.
But then Damien read the notice again.
Ah. Neither Prefect was here.

Amy walked into the common room, she wasn't cold...persey. She was cold. But the house was warm and the plan had been to get into her bed and snooze for an hour, but nooooo, she'd walked in and spotted cookies. And she couldn't ignore the God of Cookies. And she also saw Simon. And almost turned away. But cookies called.
Hi everyone she grinned before she grabbed about three cookies and plopped down on the floor, away from Simon. Yeah. Hopefully he wouldn't see her. And then she wouldn't have to appologise. Yeah.

Meetings.
Kita does not do meetings!
They were nerve racking and... scary and... all serious like. Plus you have to talk to a bunch of people you don't even know about things you don't even care about. Grr!
Nevertheless, Kita found herself walking into the common room and towards the bunch of people who were clearly there for the meeting. Her eyes scanned the room before resting on a piece of parchment that was affixed on the mantlepiece. Nope. None of the Prefects were there... Did this mean that she was early? For once?
Turning away from the parchment, Kita gave everyone a swift smile and sat down on one of the armchairs. It was then that she realised that she knew no one there. No one apart from a small first year sitting not too far away. Smiling more broadly, Kita waved at Nessie, hoping the girl was better now. And now... she didn't know what to do. Trying to avoid any awkwardness, the brunette reached over to the plate of cookies and grabbed one. Not awkward now is it?

Viola walked into the common room. She'd been anxious about the meeting for a few days but now that it was going to take place in a few minutes...she started to feel a bit excited and really nervous.

These walksies were no good for Algie. If he'd had a broom, then it'd be different. But no broomses and no cleaning, just walking, he felt he was letting down all elvsies.
Prefectses and their meeting. Algie was muttering about that ALL the way from the kitchens. Not pleased, Algamus was. Forever loyal to Headmasters, always at his service, though. At the studentsies' service too.
No popping. He walked. He entered through portraitses.
POOF!
All the lights in the Common Room went off, except the one fire by the fireplace and the lights coming from the corridor outside. Where Algamus now stood. Every student in the Common Room must be able to notice the little green House-Elf that was standing in front of them.
"Studentsies" they be seeing him. Algamus' eyes widened in the sights of THAT one studentsie that had murdered his knives and mades sandwiches. He had touch the shinys! BAD studentsie. BAD Algie! BAD Algie, for thinking bad of studentsie!
Broomses. Where was his brooms?

Ooookaay? Chandler dropped the cookies that he hadn't ate and froze, looking at the house elf and all around the Common Room with expediting eyes. So he WASN'T the only one who thought that the Common Room lights had gone off and there, standing before them was a little green house elf. Hopefully. He couldn't exactly SEE could he?! But Chandler could hear. He, said nothing though. He wanted to, he wanted to help in some way but he didn't.
He just stood there, with cookie crumbles on his shirt staring at the green elf. FAIL. | |

Algamus' big eyes wandered about the room. And theys got bigger when he saw the studentsie that was frightened. Hes meant no frightening.
The permanent frown that was common in Algamus' forehead was no longer there. He worries for studentsies. Studentsies mustn't scare. Except the thief that stole knives, and used them! Used them knives and them shinys!
"Yous listen me studentsies?" Prefectses meeting messing with his cleaning, BAH. "Algamus needs to speaks to you", his bat-like ears remained motionless as he bowed to them studentsies in the Common Room.
He was being nice Algie. For Headmasters.

Well, he failed there. Nervously she let her feet down onto the ground, but still stayed tense, she could tell that now there was no real threat but she was still nervous. She also knew that she couldn't grab a cookie, despite the fact that she wanted to.
As in REALLY wanted to. She reached for a cookie quickly and stuffed it into her mouth before nodding. Maybe the green house elf wouldn't see it but yeah, she wanted the lights back on.
She didn't like the dark. Not one bit.

Kaia hadn't even wanted to come, but she'd got fed up with pricking herself with her sewing needle, that she had given up and sloped down to the common room - after stopping by the Great Hall and grabbing a sandwich. She was hungry, that wasn't a problem.
After sliding in the portrait juuuust after the House Elf, Kai took a quick seat beside Cassie and Chandler, her eyes set on the little...dude/thing/heck, she wasn't sure what to refer to him as. She just wanted to know what was so important they had to call a ruddy meeting about. She'd done NOTHING wrong, so she didn't see the point in being here, but she'd got lonely waiting for Chandler to come back.
"Listening...." the fifth year commented, sweeping her shoulder-length hair behind her ears.
