Oh the silly little boy was daring her.... that was just asinine !!!

"I may be a 'ickle firstie', but i'm certainly NOT stupid... As for 'Goody Two Shoes' earning points?"..Penny actually laughed at this point... she was so angry with this silly little boy, she thought she should laugh or her head would explode....

"It probably good that i'm earning points... only problem is - every time i earn some decent points..YOU GO AND LOSE THEM IN SOME FOOLISH ACTIVITY"

Here again Penny laughed out loud for several minutes.."As for hugging Professor Lafay, if you hug her be prepared to lose points - and then be prepared to meet the rest of your house...i'm sure at least 7 people would want to talk to you", she finished, throwing herself onto the nearest armchair... glaring daggers at the boy, arms and legs crossed tightly.

Simon had heard Treyen but he wasn't going to answer any of the questions Treyen had asked because he was in a very bad mood at the moment and he wasn't happy with the way Penny was speaking.

"Oh I think you are stupid." Simon smirked. "Yeah I lose points but it's not my fault the Professors don't get me." Simon laughed, he wasn't going to say he had tried his hardest and got the points back there was no point. "Oh foolish actions are they, no I lose them having fun, but you wouldn't know fun if it was flying in front of you on a broomstick."

Simon started laughing and it took him ages to stop. "If you must know I hugged her once and didn't lose any points." Granted she had threated to set him on fire but he knew she wouldn't do anything like that so he was safe, he stared straight at the ickly firstie. "Oh seven people, I'm shaking in my boots." Simon laughed sarcastically. "You really do need to get a life." Simon was daring Penny to continue this argument.

His eyes kept on flickering from Penny to Simon and back to Penny. WHAT?! Hugging Lafay? Why would Simon want to do that? And why were talking about losing points again?! He cared not if Simon lost any more points, truth be told, because there was something bothering his friend for him to do so.

And no one was listening to him!

This is what it felt like to be ignored? No wonder it had taken him a great deal to make Ellie smiled again when he had ignored her at the feast. Not on purpose, of course.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" he said, "Both of you!" he hated the feeling of being ignored, mostly.

"What is going on?" yeah, he was upset now, and his face was crystal clear about how he was feeling right now.

Penny actually saw red.... this silly little spoilt princey boy really had no idea, about anything...

"So the Professors don't get you.....BIG whooohooo, what age are you 4 or 14, grow up will you!!!!", now he'd done it... Penny wouldn't have been surprised if steam came out of her ears at this stage..

"FUN--- you lost those points for FUN, who do you think you are? You asinine little boy - the rest of this house has been working hard all year trying to earn points - but you don't care about them and all their hard work - as long as you can have fun!!

Taking a deep breath she started again.."I know how to have fun, it's something I do in my freetime, with my closest frinds - NOT for everyone to see and pay for........ It would be like running around screaming ""I'm having fun and you losers have to pay for the privilege""

Penny was done with the boy - yes he angered her - but mostly she was bored with his spoilt rich kid attitude.. thinking he can do or say anything he wanted, whatever the consequences..

"For your information, I do have a life.... pretty good one actually..
When I go home for the summer, i have a loving family, we take road trips, hang out, have loads of fun with family friends.... It's the most magical time..2 months of freedom"

Penny stopped to think that in a few weeks .. it would all be true.
Then she went on "While i'm here, i have close friends in both Gryffindor and Slytherin, we hang out and have fun in the evening after dinner and homework... I play quidditch, and yes mostly I try to be the best student I can be"

Picking up her backpack, and slinging it over her shoulder - feeling very tired now.

Okay So now Simon was annoyed and he knew he shouldn't but he was going to ignore his friend once again because this ickle firstie was winding him up. "And how old are you?" Simon asked. "Your acting like your 2." Simon smirked.

"Who do I think I am?" Simon shouted at Penny. "I'm the guy who is 50 times more rich..." Simon started then stopped. "I'm the guy who would beat you in a duel anyday." Simon laughed getting back into the swing of things. "I'm the guy who could beat you at Quidditch anyday."

Simon was getting wound up. "I've got friends in every house there is." Simon smirked. "I'm sure all you and your friends do is go into the Library and try and outdo each other at Quizzes." Simon laughed. "And if you call that a life then you seriously need some new brain cells."

OH.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH.

Excuse me? No one was paying him attention! This is why he often wore the Prefect badge in his pocket. Which was...currently off his robes. Still, Penny knew him. And so did Simon.

THIS TIME...Treyen got in front of them both. Simon being slightly taller than him was odd, but he didn't care. "First of all, I'd beat both of you at Quidditch anyday...but that's not the point," right, that wasn't, but it was a different approach.

"NOW! Penny, I already talked to Simon about the points, no need to discuss them with him again, and...no need to give HIM excuses to talk back," he eyed her. That meant...shush and don't talk to him while he's angry. AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE BOY WITH THE BADGE.

Maybe.

"Simon. That's enough." Because Treyen had been a liiittle hurt by the library stuff, even if it wasn't him he was mentioning.

Simon was really annoyed and wasn't ready to calm down, he knew he had said some things that wasn't right, but she had been having a go at him and it seemed that Treyen was defending the girl even though she had started this, well at least now he knew that Treyen didn't care.

"So that's the way it is?" Simon snapped. "Everyone blaim Simon for everything." Simon was really annoyed. "And I thought you was my friend Treyen." Why did everyone think he started everything.

Simon looked at Treyen and then grabbed his bag up forgetting he hadn't closed it and a single letter fell out.



Simon having not noticed the letter falling out ran straight out of the common room, in one bad mood, he was wishing that he had their life at the minute because his was so hard, though of course he couldn't tell anyone.

Penny was a little surprised when Treyen suddenly appeared in front of Simon and herself...
But as far as she was concerned, there was no need for him to become involved - she was about to go to bed - their 'talk' was over...

But she let him talk anyway, not really sure why.... Treyen always took on a little glow when he was being in an authoritative mood.. kinda cute even

And he definitely could beat her at quidditch....trying to explain she said "I'm sorry Treyen, but the way he treats this house, it occupants and points is deplorable --- he wastes our hard earned points because he wants ho have fun... He thinks i'm a goody two shoes because i work hard and earn points - that I need to get a life"

Thinking about it..Actually he's not worth my anger, mostly he bores me with his '"Oh look at me, I'm rich,'" aristocratic attitude", finishing to take a breath...

WHAT?! AGAIN?! Simon was thinking Treyen was taking sides again?! He was only choosing Hufflepuff, that's why he wanted both of them to stop yelling and being mean to each other.

Both the girl and the boy were angry, and he knew no good could come from that. How? Because Lola Jones had taught him that.

"I---WHAT?" yes, he frowned, but his eyes fell on the piece of paper that had fallen and was now on the floor, he soon picked it up, but didn't read it, "Simon! You dropped...," what was it? A letter?

He was looking down at the letter, trying to read it as Penny was speaking. Soon enough he understood what was wrong, because the letter was now read and things started to make sense. Yet what had happened in the Common Room wasn't right.

Treyen looked towards Penny now, and folded the letter before placing it in his pocket. "I know," he sighed, looking down, "He's just going through a lot back at home, and surely that's no excuse for treating you or any housemate or teammate that way," Simon should be able to control himself a bit better. But both the boys reacted differently. If there was something wrong at home, Treyen would back away a bit, whilst Simon took the reckless road. "I'm sorry, really, I can't say anything more, but do try not to talk to him at the moment, please," he nodded, before speaking again, "I...actually need to go after him, see you around, Penny," he said and gave her a small smile.

The Prefect was soon out the door.

Siobian saw the small tear and wiped it, "Hey now, don't start crying! I'm going to strangle her!" Siobian said, "Gah," She calmed down quickly, "Another stupid effect is mood swings. I'll get her, I promise."

Bella wiped the tear off of her face "Thanks." She got up from the couch and walk over to watch the fire and ture around and look at Siobian. "I think we should get her back. I dont care she can beat us we got to try something that she never did on anybody" She walk back to the couch and set down.

Damien barged through the entrance to the Hufflepuff Common Room, not caring if anyone paid him the slightest bit of attention. Taking heavy strides towards a study table he sat at once before, he withdrew the book he'd been carrying with him all term and slammed it down hard on the table, nearly knocking it over. He was breathing quite heavily, one might mistake him having a panic attack -- however it was all an attempt to calm himself down.

He stared at the book he would have hoped would give him some answers to his life -- recalling Isobel and the fact that he'd been so close to finally confiding in someone. So close to revealing what was so mysterious about his life. He trusted Isobel, only to have his heart ripped from his chest and thrown to the ground.

He yelled something explicit before kicking the table to the ground and throwing one of the charis clear across the Common Room.

No, he wasn't in the Common Room, he'd been getting ready to leave the Common Room and was currently doing his hair in the dormitory when...was there someone outside practicing a Blasting Curse or something?!

Treyen didn't get to finish his hair, nor his tie, but he rushed outside only to find part of the room a mess and..."Damien?" he said, frowning deeply and then eyeing the Common Room again. It had probably been worse before, and the house-elves will be very disappointed to see this on the Hufflepuff Common Room, but he cared very little for that at the moment.

Why?

Because this was the first time he saw Damien like that, he was usually cool and quiet and...those were the ones one had to be very careful about.

"Wha--," he was beyond confused, so, the other boy should start explaining right about now.

Maybelle walked in, the polyjuice pottion finally wearing off. She saw that same Hufflepuff from earlier, and he was mad. She heard Treyen say his name. Damien? I think Isobel mentioned him before. She walked over to where the commotion was happening, she was sweating from Quidditch practice but she didn't care. She touched his shoulder, not caring if he hit her, she was slightly used to pain.

"Damien?" She asked, again, confused on knowing whether or not that was his name. She looked to Treyen for confirmation on if she was right. It was time to tell him what happened in the library...because it looked as if he liked Isobel...oops...

Having been the first time he's ever lost his temper in such a manner, Damien wasn't quite sure what had come over him. Was it because of what he'd just witnessed in the library? The conversation's he'd had with Isobel (or not had)? Or perhaps it was something -- some feeling that had caught him off guard.

Treyen's voice registered in his ears and Damien turned at the sound of his name. The look on the Prefect's face was one of confusion and -- was that concern?

Taking a deep breath, he looked between the knocked over table, the chair at the other end of the Common Room. "Sorry," he mumbled to Lockhart. "I'll clean it up --"

And then he felt a hand on his shoulder before turning to see Maybelle standing there. Wonderful. She had also witnessed his explosion. Embarassment now flodded his emotions along with the anger on the backburner. "Hullo Maybelle," he said with a nod of his head. "I'm fine -- really I'm fine, don't worry about it. I just -- need a bit of time."

Damien turned back to Treyen, pleading with his eyes for some sort of help. "Can we talk?" he simply asked the Prefect. If he said no, it'd be completely understandable. This was grounds for detention -- the vandalisim that was just enforced on the unsuspecting Common Room. He could have hurt someone -- Treyen or Maybelle. And he wouldn't have ever forgiven himself for that.

He still hoped though that Lockhart would see that he was hurting something terrible and would take the time to speak with him.

Maybelle nodded at Damien. She walked away, letting the two boys discuss their problems. Hopefully no more furniture would be destroyed. That wouldn't work so well. Thinking about today, Maybelle went to sit by the fire. She thought about Jake finding out, how mad he would be. Would he break up with Maybelle? Would he punch Luke? Deciding then, she took out a piece of paper and wrote a note to Jake.

She folded the note and called over, Lollipop, her owl.

"Take this to Jake." She whispered to her owl, and tied the note to her leg and sent her off. Sitting back, she sighed, this was..not going to be fun.

Sorry. Yeah. Treyen nodded once, when he spoke, and then eyed his very short exchange of words with Maybelle.

Truth be told, he didn't need to clean it up, but it'll be greatly appreciated by the house-elves. Plus, it was fairly obvious that Treyen wouldn't have to hear any sort of complain from them, or be asked if he knew how the Common Room got into this mess in the first place. That'd be awkward, and may dock off some points from Damien or get him detention.

He wasn't sure. And he seriously didn't want Damien to get in trouble.

Treyen was picking up a chair, because HE was going to help out, when he heard a question meant for him. The chair was put in place. And as soon as he turned to look at Damien, he noticed the look on his eyes. Not good. Something was up, not that he didn't know something was up already. "Of course, no problem," he nodded, but..."Do you want us to head some place else?" because the Common Room was quiet enough, except for Maybelle, who was still there.

THIS WAS NOT NORMAL. Sammy basically dragged herself into the common room, and that only ever happened when she was either bored, or tired and she was neither. She flopped herself into a chair in the corner of the vibrant common room, another sign something was up she ALWAYS sat on the big couch. She fumbled with her bag and pulled out her 'I'm-in-a-crappy-mood' book, Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Patterson, before burying her head in it and being a mopey flop which was really weird. Usually she was literally bouncing off the walls with enthusiasm, but at the moment nothing seemed like a worse idea. She didn't even want food, which was basically like saying she'd turned into an ostrich.

Amy had popped up to the common room to go and see what was going on with Simon and the rumours he was ripping a shred out off a little firstie and the prefects were intervening, but when she got up there she saw just Treyan and Damien. Who didn't look like he was in the most fabulous of moods. BUT LOOK. Sammy. Reading a book...with no Moggy or chocolate.

Okai. That was weird. Weirder than the Doctor dancing. And that WAS weird.

"Saaaammmaaayyyy" Amy said, bounding over to Sammy, "whaaasss upppp?"

Sammy looked up from her book hearing Pizza!Buddeh but just shrugged and said "nothing much" She wanted to tell Amy but she didn't want to sound like an idiot, even though she sounded like an idiot. But Amy was her besterest friend. Oh stuff it. "Do you think I eat too much?" she asked, and the moment it came out of her mouth she regretted it. She sounded like an idiot, mainly because Sammy had never worried about her body image as long as she was getting fed but the way Nessie had looked at her when she was eating. Did everyone look at her like that? Or was she crazy? Probably crazy.

Eh?

Sammy was silent. Her Pasta Head was not talking. And that was really odd. Amy plopped down infront of Sammy on the floor as she briefly debated how to answer the question, she tilted her head. "Yes" she said, shrugging, "hence why your the pasta head" Amy nodded, "but you eat just the right amount of stuff" She nodded. "Why?" She asked chewing the inside of her mouth

Well. That made almost absolutely no sense at all. Sammy ate too much, but the right amount? Yeah, nothing was clicking in her brain. OH WELL. Why? DAMN IT. Sammy's plan had not gone according to her plan which had been the plan. The plan was that everything would go according to plan and that was not according to plan. "Some firstie looked at me weird when I was eating, then continued to imply that I ate a lot" she said grumpily. She wasn't implying that Nessie was mean, just a little bit judgmental of the person who had ended up showing her the kitchens, the greatest place in the whole school.

AH. Gots it. Sorta..Amy wrinkled her nose, before deciding what to say next "weeell firsties talk a load of rot most of the time" she shrugged, "and anyway, you are like the skinniest person here despite how much you eat". Twas true. Sammy was a skinny pin. Only not pointy. Or metal...

"And anyway, I eat just as much as you and I don't care" Amy shrugged, it was true. But then some people said Amy was just stubborn and refused to listen to anything. Which was true

Well that was true. So Sammy nodded, and the fact that she basically weighed nothing was also true but thinking about she had no idea how she managed to stay like that. She assumed it was a fast metabolism, or the amount of running/bouncing about she did. It was one of them.

She shrugged at what Amy said next. "and you're tiny little thing too" well she had to say it really, but she did mean it. All her worrying now seemed stupid. She felt stupid. Wait. She always felt stupid, but usually in a good way if that was possible. She had over thought the whole thing, which was weird Sammy never over thought stuff. MOVING ON. "Wanna go down to the kitchens?" Well she was hungry, usually she was eating like ... 24-7 and she hadn't eaten for the past hour or something which was absolutely ABSURD.

"Why thank you my little pork chop" Amy grinned, "but I tell you why we're skinny" she nodded,"because we are cool", she nodded, grinning, "and we do run around a lot" she commented before standing up. "FOOD? Of course I want food missy!" Amy said in mock annoyance. She pulled Sammy up "come on. Food time"
