Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.
The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:
Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace
Solid friendships forming
People so full of grace
Rockin' the competition
In a race for the house cup
Doing everything we can
Earning points to keep us up
Reeling for a win
Us Lions gettin' it done
Loyality guiding us through
Everyone working as one
I Can Accept Failure. But I Can't Accept Not Trying

Ronnie was eating while William and Jordan were talking, and she heard William talking about his family. She turned to listen, and saw that Jordan seemed a bit down or something. "Jordan? Are you okay?" she asked.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm, yum!
After such a long chaotic day pretending to be his best mate and trying to make a convincing performance for the girl of his [Theo's] dreams, Braeden was completely exhausted. He wanted nothing more than to stuff his face and then go watch a movie at the room of requirement.
He needed some calm and relaxation.
And what could possibly be more soothing than apple pie!?
Nothing, apparently, as Braeden could feel the world becoming a better place as he took the first bite of apple pie shortly after plopping down at the Gryffindor House table. He could hear birds chirping, flowers blooming, children laughing...
Oh yeah.
Life was good for the Gryffindork right now. And nothing could ruin it.

Walking, or more accurately, stomping up behind the arrogant man. . . boy. . . whatever, Charlie promptly emptied the whole of her goblet over the 'whatever's head.
"How could you DO that!?" Charlie nearly screeched.

Clearly, Braeden had been wrong. This beautiful, calm, relaxing moment in his life COULD, indeed, be ruined.
And by none other than Charlie herself.
As the juice from the goblet poured over the little lion man's mane, Braeden yelped in shock and surprise, jumping up from his seat and to his feet in horror. WHAT WAS THAT?! With eyes wide as saucers, he brought his hands up to his soaked hair and stared at the furious, screeching little girl standing before him.
Braeden looked around for a moment. Had she confused him for someone else? Had the wrong guy, maybe?
"What was that for!?" he asked, completely shocked that Charlie would just randomly attack him like that. He thought they were friendssssssss! D:

"You DARE to ask me that after what you said and did?!" Charlie was fuming. To be so inconsiderate of her feelings like that and then to turn around and ask her what that was for?! This boy made her soo mad!
"You didn't have the decency to even tell me before you spouted it off like that! The simple decency!"

Braeden, with juice now dripping from his hair and onto his lightly-tanned face, looked completely flabbergasted.
WHAT in the world was Charlie talking about?! What he 'said and did'!? What did he do and say?! And what was this about not having 'the decency' to tell her before spouting off?! The boy had never EVER in his life been so confused. And that was saying something because, I think it's safe to say that we all here now how Braeden lives every day of his life in confusion.
"I--I--I--I have no clue what you're talking about, Char," said Braeden, shaking his head slightly, which only caused a few drops of juice to fall into his eyes. GAHH!
The boy took a moment to wipe his eyes before looking back at Charlie with nothing but pure confusion on his features. Could she please just tell him what in the world she was talking about?!

The blonde Malfoy walked over to the Gryffindor table to see if Fee was there. Emma had hoped that her Glitter girl and younger 'sister' had been here with William, but sadly she was not in sight. The Malfoy walked a little further down the table. The blonde took a quick look at the table, searching for any sign of William because wherever William was- Fee was bound to be close. She stood there and waited. They had to be coming soon.. right?

Charlie threw her hands into the air in exasperation, "You just went and said, 'Gotta go find my girlfriend'," said Charlie making her voice sound like Braeden's, "And then went and left. You never told me you had a girlfriend!" She was happy for him, really, but it was just so insensitive!
Anger getting the better off the temperamental girl once more, Charlie grabbed a slice of apple pie of the nearby table and literally threw the pie in Braeden's face. Crumbs sprayed back onto her robe but she didn't care.

"Irritating, insensitive, arrogant boy!"
Braeden listened with saucer-sized eyes and his jaw on the floor as Charlie explained the horribly insensitive thing he had apparently done. And which he had absolutely NO recollection of. When exactly had he done this?! Was Charlie going crazy and imagining things or had he suddenly started sleepwalking or losing his memory?!
"Charlie… I swear to you, by Merlin's soggy socks, I've got no clue what in the world you're talking about!" said the poor boy, who as response got a handful of apple pie thrown to his face.
GAH!
Braeden made a face as the pie hit him on the face (rather hard, really. He'd almost forgotten what an arm Charlie had), and wiped the once-delicious food off his face. He looked like a puppy who'd just been abandoned at the side of the road and then kicked by its owner. What was this abuse?!
"Char, c'mon… I honestly don't know what you're talking about! When was this?!" asked the boy, desperate to just fix things and have his hair and face spared from any more abuse.

"No clue? This happened twenty minutes ago! How could you have forgotten? You were talking to Trina and I and you were acting down right weird! Then you left. Easy as pie."
Charlie was agitated, surely, but he looked so confused. "Twenty minutes ago. On the second floor? Really?" What was this, the Twilight Zone? Sighing, dramatically, Charlie turned and walked two steps away, counting to ten and folding her arms. She was trying her best to gather her composure, "What in Merlin's baggy robes is going on?"

The blonde, who was still waiting for William and Fee, looked around to see Braeden talking to another girl. They seemed pretty close... What!? Was Brae?? No.. Brae wouldn't.. He wasn't a player... The blonde felt her stomach churn..
Her mouth fell wide open as she watched Charlie throw a pie at him. WHAT!? No one did that to Brae. And plus Brae was totally innocent- of whatever he did.. Or so the blonde hoped. The Malfoy made her way over towards them. "Excuse me. What's going on here? And why are you throwing pie at my boyfriend? What did he do to you?" she asked, with hands on her hips, coming to save Braeden, as usual. Your welcome Brae.

Twenty minutes ago?!
"But--but-- that can't be! Twenty minutes ago I was finishing my potions final! The polyjuice was wearing off!" said Braeden, who honestly had NO clue why in the world Charlie thought she had talked to him somewhere totally off and at a time that Brae had been doing something else completely. Was the girl going mad?! How could he have been in two places at on--
WAIT A MINUTE.
Braeden's bushy eyebrows furrowed as he thought about this for a moment.
WAIT UP A SECOND RIGHT THURR.
He could have been in two places at once… Theo… Theo was him for the last hour or so. Theo… THEODORE. THEODORE DUMBLE.
As realization began to dawn on Braeden's face and, suddenly, the world seemed to make sense, he found himself overwhelmed with a whole new wave of confusion: just WHAT, exactly, had Theo done while disguised as the Gryffindork that got Charlie to hate him this much!?
But before Braeden could ask or even begin to explain what had happened, Emma had arrived into the scene. On instinct, a lopsided smile curved the boy's lips at the sight of her, but it quickly faded as he began to see what was going on. Emma had come over to save him, of course.
"E--Em!" He was completely flustered now. Oh no, oh no, the last thing he wanted was his girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend getting into an argument. "No--nothing! Nothing's going on! Charlie just… she's, uh, she's confused… see, it's a funny story… I just figured it out," he began to ramble, far too overwhelmed at the moment to really make much sense anymore. In the end, he decided he should at least introduce the girls to each other before explaining the whole mess that had just taken place. "Em, this is Charlie… Char, this is Emma," he said, gesturing from one girl to the other. He wasn't sure he should specify that one was his current girlfriend and the other his ex, he'd never been in a situation like this before and it was horribly awkward.
However, he didn't want Emma to think he was hiding something by not introducing her with her proper 'title', either. Scratching at the back of his neck while feeling awkward and rather nervous, Braeden decided he should specify. "Char, Emma's my girlfriend… Em, Charlie's my… my ex, we dated last year..."

Nothings going on? Really Brae? So you call abusing my boyfriend nothing? Merlin's Beard, NO. And was throwing a pie at someone's face considered all right? No, not in Emma's world anyway. Braeden, she thought. And the blonde began to take a big deep breath slowly to stop herself from getting worked up. He wanted her to listen!? No, she wouldn't.... No one threw a pie at his face and got away with it. NO ONE DID! And no one messed with Emma Malfoy when she was angry or she'd hex them. Yes, so the five foot six blonde had a problem with her temper. The blonde folded her arms, sighed, and gave him the: 'I'm listening' look. Okay Brae.
But before Braeden was going to explain the whole thing, he rambled on, and ended up introducing Charlie to Emma. "We've already met. At the Lake," added Emma, keeping her voice a normal level. No, someone throwing a pie at her boyfriend was so not going to make her mad. Sarcasm there. Clearly, Emma was annoyed. And then her brown eyes grew bigger as Braeden explained that Charlie was his ex-girlfriend. OH MERLIN'S BEARD.
O.o What had Emma gotten herself into? Always Rushing into things to save Braeden, and in the end, she got told off. Now this was awkward. Well kind of. It reminded her of last term when Ellie, Alex, and her met up by accident in the Pathways. That ended badly. The blonde started to feel a little sick. Sick with worry that, it would end up the same way as the Pathways incident. Please, Merlin's Beard. Please No. She averted her eyes from the scene, she couldn't bare to look at either of them. So she had over-reacted.. once again.
Coming back to look at both of them, Emma bit her lip and fidgeted with her snake bracelet. What could she do to stop the awkward-ness? Emma quickly glanced at Braeden, giving him an uneasy smile, clearly to show him how she felt about the whole thing. Awkward. Why did Braeden always get himself in these situations again? "It seems that I owe you both an apology. I'm sorry for over-reacting back there..." she said, before looking down at her bracelet, then over at the Slytherin table, and then back at them. The blonde took a step back. Maybe.. she should get going? This was.. awkward.

Jordan said not really focused on the conversation as he was thinking about his dead parents. At times he wished to be home, and at times he wish he were dead, to see his parents again.
Willaim saw Jordan's sad face. "Sorry, I should not have talked about my family so much" William told Jordan. " Yes, lots of family" Willaim said to Jordan. " Lets switch to another subject" Wiliam smiled.

Charlie's head jerked back as Emma stormed up and began to tell her off. Well I'll be. Here I am angry at Braeden and here she comes defending him, at that thought.
As Braeden began to introduce them, Charlie echoed Emma, "Yeah. Met. Lake. Right." Girlfriend. Hmm. This is the girl that has now captured the Lion Cub's heart. Smiling at her for a second before confusion washed over her face for what felt like the thirtieth time today. Nodding at Emma for the apology, Char turned to Braeden, "Hold on Emma. Braeden, what is going on?! I'm happy you got a girlfriend, honest. But to tell me like that? I thought we were at least friends. And as an ex you would tell me when we saw each other, not as you're leaving and need an excuse to duck out of a conversation." Charlie looked between Emma and Braeden hoping that they would understand what had her so upset. This stupid day was turning out way more confusing then it should have been. Darn Finals. This is more headache then I can deal with. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Charlie sighed before staring at Braeden pleadingly to tell her what's going on.

Plus this was Evelyn, Josh very well doubted she would ever randomly prefer the Gryffindor Table for a simple meal. Plus, he had not been there! What reason could it be?
Had she just wiped her mouth with her sleeve???!!! Whaaa??!!!
When the she-snake replied to his question with another question, Josh moved his gaze from the Slytherin Table and looked back at her, only paying a proper attention to what she was doing after that question. Well...she seemed to be eating...a cake? At this point the Gryffindor boy had to raise his eyebrows at the she-snake for he thought she was not into sweets that much. Then when he saw what cake she was eating, his eyebrows traveled up further. Chocolate Cake? Seriously? ''Well...'' he began while approaching to sit next to her, not on the seat though. He practically stepped on the seat and sat on the table instead. ''What are you trying to do?'' he had to ask that because it was obvious that something was weird with her.
Upon hearing her next words, Josh glanced at the empty goblet too. Well...okay. No problem that was for him. So, picking it up he considered Pumpkin Juice at first yet for some reason there was an idea left in his mind that she did not like that either. Then, taking his wand he pointed it into the goblet ''Aguamenti''. Meh. His spell was still weak yet at least it was enough to fill a goblet. Once he filled it with pure water, he placed the goblet in front of the Slytherin girl before getting momentarily frozen with another idea in his mind. ''You...did not mean you were planning to meet someone here...over a drink, right?''
Noticing Josh move closer, to sit ON the table, Destiny inwardly rolled her eyes. She should have taken the cake from the Gryffindor table, and then went over to the Ravenclaw's. She would have been able to eat the potatoes, too. And she wouldn't have to deal with him right now.
She wanted to eat her cake in piece peace!
But, as long as Josh was there, that wasn't going to happen. And since she was sort of invading his territory by sitting at the Gryffindor table in the first place, she couldn't be mean to him. Not that she ever thought she was the mean one. It was always his fault. Taking another forkful of the cake, Destiny turned to face him once again. What was up with all these questions? "Well.." she drawled, eying the cake, then eying him, "I am trying to eat this cake." Merlin! He was acting like her..
O_O
As Josh went to fill the goblet with water, Destiny dropped the fork and moved her hands up to her hair. NOT her hair. Evelyn's hair! Evelyn's STRANGLING hair! How could she have forgotten!? It was the cake's fault, it was! Pushing it faaar away from her, she picked up the goblet of water, and was just about to take a sip when he asked yet ANOTHER question. But she couldn't answer it as herself, no, she was EVELYN!
Scowl.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Really, she had no idea..

This was.. awkward.

And as an ex you would tell me when we saw each other, not as you're leaving and need an excuse to duck out of a conversation." This is more headache then I can deal with. Pinching the bridge of her nose, Charlie sighed before staring at Braeden pleadingly to tell her what's going on.
Braeden watched as Emma seemed to shrink right before his eyes. She'd walked in with so much force, now as that determination to hex someone's head off began to fade away, the girl seemed to grow smaller and more timid. Feeling a little guilty for Emma's embarrassment, Braeden took the girl's hand (hoping she wouldn't mind it was covered in apple pie from when he'd wiped it off his face earlier), and pulled her a little closer just after she'd taken a couple steps back. He didn't want her to feel like a third wheel or something.
The Gryffindork gave her a small, brief smile and listened with raised eyebrows as both blondes confirmed that they had already met. Oh? He wondered how that had gone… what if they had become friends and he'd just ruined it!? Oh, if they could become friends that would be great!
Wait, actually, no… if they became close friends, they would talk about him and make fun of whatever unique little clumsy things he did that they'd noticed! What if they started making fun of how he kissed or something!? Talk about embarrassing.
Either way. He had to explain what was going on. He couldn't have Charlie hate him forever and continue wasting perfectly good apple pie. The poor elves had worked hard on that food, y'know!
"Oh, right," muttered Braeden as Charlie asked he explain what was going on. "I think… I think the person you talked to wasn't me, Char," he began slowly, trying to build up his sentences in his head before spilling them out. He wanted to make sense, and making sense was a little difficult for someone with such a scattered mind. "See, the thing is… For our potions final, Theo and I polyjuiced into each other, and… Well, I think the Braeden that you spoke to earlier was him, not me. You know I'd never say something like that to you so carelessly…" he continued, hoping dearly that Charlie would believe him. He couldn't lose her as a friend; and, worse yet, leave her thinking of him as some insensitive jerk with no consideration for others' feelings.
"Either way, I'm sorry you had to hear it like that... I was going to tell you, but I got distracted just catching up with you," he added. Which was true.

Emma quickly turned her head Emma quickly turned her head and tried to give William her best smile, despite the current situation at hand with Brae and Charlie. "Hi William," she said with a smile before it faltered. Died? In an accident? Aww Rex. She felt a hard lump growing in her throat. "That's... Terrible. I'm so sorry- If there's anything I can do to help him and your family let me know, okay?" she said, starting to frown. Emma nodded. "Thanks," she nodded and flayed him a smile.
Turning back to face Charlie and Brae, she gave them both a small smile. But soon that smile dropped and turned into Emma gaping in surprise that Brae would just run away using an excuse like that to his ex. Merlin's Beard. She felt terrible for Charlie. Perhaps she should be the one joining in on telling Mr. Stonem off with Charlie? Hmmm..
But before the Malfoy could say anything else, Braeden grabbed her hand. Squish. Apple pie... Great.. The blonde listened as Braeden began to explain the whole situation. Emma knew what he was saying was true because: one- Emma watched Brae turn back into himself and two- Brae cause Brae wouldn't do such a thing like that. So, she decided to stay quiet and listening, waiting to see if Charlie would believe him or not. Theo...

Theodore, having taken his new 'do in full stride, strolled down the aisles between the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw tables, a muffin in his hand as he munched and walked along. The effects of the potion had begun to wear off, but just barely. His hair was more of it's natural color than Brae's, and his appetite had decreased. Now for dinner, he only could stomach a four-course meal instead of the usual five that came with the Stonems' lust for food.
Passing by, one hand fiddling with his Ravenclaw tie, he saw a couple of familiar faces. Theo didn't immediately register what was going on, as the other blonde in their conversation wasn't facing his direction. "Hey Brae, hey Emm!" He smiled through a mouthful of crumbs, waving. If only he knew what he had just gotten himself into.

Charlie was extremely confused, "You weren't there? But how. . .?" The potions final. That darn potions final! "Brae. I'm so sorry. I thought you were acting strangely but I thought it was just because I hadn't been around for a while. And then you. . . well. . . he as you. . . said that and I was just so hurt. I'm soo sorry. Forgive me?"
She turned to Emma, "I'm glad that Braeden has a new girlfriend and that she's you. Braeden and I were good friends and, hopefully, after this we still will be. So what do you say? Friends?" Charlie stuck out her hand for a handshake hoping she wouldn't be rebuffed by the nice girl she met by the lake.
Suddenly Charlie stiffened. Turning slowly, Charlie came face to face with a boy she's never met before. But who still had hair that looked a bit like Brae's. Hmmm. "Theo I presume?" She smiled at the boy, teeth showing. "I'm Charlie." She didn't stick out her hand.

Braeden let out a long sigh of relief when Charlie apologized, making it quite obvious that she indeed believed him. OH THANK MERLIN. The boy thought he was destined to die suffocated by apple pie, but it seemed he might just live to see another day.
"That's alright… I can understand why it'd upset you," said the boy with a smile. It was good to have Charlie back - the real Charlie. The nice and sweet one that always knew just how to brighten up his day. His smile only widened as the girl offered her hand to Emma, and he turned to Emma with a smile then. Happy endings exist after all!
THAT IS.
Until a fourth character nonchalantly strolled into the scene.
.
.
. "THEODORE DUMBLE!!!!"
Brae had never heard himself sound so loud before, but the sudden appearance of Theo in the scene rather overwhelmed him. He wasn't sure whether to let instinct take over and just drool at the sight of him with that hair, or confront him about what was going on. Braeden wasn't the argumentative type, though, so it wasn't long until he was back to his dorky, goofy self.
"Mate… what exactly were you doing while you still looked like me, just an hour ago?!" he asked the innocent muffin-eating Ravenclaw.

Trina walked into the Great Hall with the idea of grabbing a quick snack before returning to her study spot outside. However, that idea quickly changed as she approached the table. A familiar back was to her, along with an equally familiar boy squared off with her.
Uh-oh.
Just as Trina saw Charlie pinch her nose, she knew something was wrong. Making sure her wand was ready, she jogged over to her friend's side. She touched Charlie on the shoulder to make sure her friend knew she was there.
"What's going on?" she asked, looking around at the group of three (ooc: I am all caught up, Trina isn't). She recognized Braedon and gave him a small nod, but didn't recognize the other girl. "Hi, I'm Trina," she said, giving her a small wave.
She winced as a boy's name echoed around the Great Hall. She looked at Charlie questioningly before turning to see what the boy had done. It seemed things were heating up in the Great Hall, and she had completely forgotten about her snack.

Theodore stopped in mid-chew when the other girl in their midst turned around, giving him an icy stare and a greeting that was even colder. Brown crumbs still clinging to his lips, Theodore jumped, nearly choking on what was left of the muffin in his mouth, as Braeden let out a lion's roar that seemed to echo around the great hall. Emma, meanwhile, looked like a girl deciding whether or not she wanted to hit the nearest punching bag or... who knew what went through the mind of a Malfoy. In this sudden surge of fear, the Ravenclaw hadn't even noticed that half of his muffin had dropped from his shaking hand and lay abandoned on the stone floor, crying lonely tears of crumbs.
He had made a boo-boo, evidently.
Everything came rushing back to him as he looked at the brunette girl, a slightly inquisitive look on his face. Had he... screwed up? Evidently. All of this was too much to take in within a span of forty-eight hours. He wanted to hide under his covers in his bed, for the moment.
Hurriedly licking the crumbs from his lips and brushing a few from his shirtfront, he answered the girl with as much bravery as he could muster. She looked like she wanted to rip his head off. If she ripped his scalp off, that was all well: at least his curls would probably grow back in place of the bloody irritating, yet still handsome, Brae hair. "Hi," He squeaked, clearing his throat and attempting to speak up through the fear that coursed through his veins. "Nice to... officially meet you, Charlie."
His gaze swiveled over Braeden, who didn't look murderous but looked... hurt? D': It pained Theo to see his friend like that, and his heart felt like it had dropped into his stomach. What hath Merlin wrought?! "I... I..." That was the last straw. His face crumpling, Theo began in a distraught tone. "I didn't know, I'm sorry, I didn't even know these two," A hand fluttered in the direction of the two girls that were practically strangers to him, "...I said the only thing that I could to get me out of the situation, so I thought of mentioning Emma. That was it." He looked like a wee, pompadoured bunny who was about to well up with tears.
