"But--but-- that can't be! Twenty minutes ago I was finishing my potions final! The polyjuice was wearing off!" said Braeden, who honestly had NO clue why in the world Charlie thought she had talked to him somewhere totally off and at a time that Brae had been doing something else completely. Was the girl going mad?! How could he have been in two places at on--

Braeden's bushy eyebrows furrowed as he thought about this for a moment.
WAIT UP A SECOND RIGHT THURR.
He
could have been in two places at once… Theo… Theo was him for the last hour or so. Theo… THEODORE. THEODORE DUMBLE.
As realization began to dawn on Braeden's face and, suddenly, the world seemed to make sense, he found himself overwhelmed with a whole new wave of confusion: just WHAT, exactly, had Theo done while disguised as the Gryffindork that got Charlie to hate him this much!?
But before Braeden could ask or even begin to explain what had happened, Emma had arrived into the scene. On instinct, a lopsided smile curved the boy's lips at the sight of her, but it quickly faded as he began to see what was going on. Emma had come over to save him, of course.
"E--Em!" He was completely flustered now. Oh no, oh no, the last thing he wanted was his girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend getting into an argument. "No--nothing! Nothing's going on! Charlie just… she's, uh, she's confused… see, it's a funny story… I
just figured it out," he began to ramble, far too overwhelmed at the moment to really make much sense anymore. In the end, he decided he should at least introduce the girls to each other before explaining the whole mess that had just taken place. "Em, this is Charlie… Char, this is Emma," he said, gesturing from one girl to the other. He wasn't sure he should specify that one was his current girlfriend and the other his ex, he'd never been in a situation like this before and it was horribly awkward.
However, he didn't want Emma to think he was hiding something by not introducing her with her proper 'title', either. Scratching at the back of his neck while feeling awkward and rather nervous, Braeden decided he should specify. "Char, Emma's my girlfriend… Em, Charlie's my… my ex, we dated last year..."
