Riiiggghhhht.

Eying the young boy, Evelyn sat quietly for a moment. How did he only know that much about the Gryffindor common room? He was a Gryffindor himself for Merlin's sake. BUT, if he wanted to be quiet, she could always find some other Gryffindor to ask.

Just about to get up since there really was no point in staying, she paused for a moment, looking back to Starr. Meh. She was going to call him Will from now on. It was waaaay better. "Yea, cool." she muttered, standing up completely. "Thanks for the info. I'll see you around Will."

Or not. She didn't hang with the younger kids mostly. Aw well.

" Thanks for your help with the older students" William told Evelyn. " Byw, nice talking to you" Willaim said to Evelyn.

Rose saw Jordan and budged up next to him. 'Hey, Jordan, how ya doin'?' Rose asked grinning. 'And I meant to say after the 'hey, Jordan' long time no see! So, yeah, how've you been?' Rose smiled

Jordan turned around and saw one of his buds, Rose. "Hey! What's up rose? I'm pretty good. Been working hard for DADA. Yeah, long time no see. How's the school year going for you?" Asked Jordan.

'Alas, one thing I couldn't do! Too weak!' Rose said mockingly shaking her arm. 'Ah, not so good for me, got a boyfriend, found out what he's like, got dumped... So much to choose from!' Rose grinned at Jordan. 'How've you been? How many girls have you charmed yet?' Rose said swooning.

"Absolutely none. I want to stay focused on School and Magic. After all, we're only first years. We came here to learn Magic. Not pick up chicks. Ha ha ha ha." Jordan said laughing a little bit. "Who was your boyfriend?" Asked Jordan.

Destiny was still disappointed in Carter's lack of creativity. Really, though? Black salt!? She had become so disappointed that, when he passed it over to her, she pushed it far away from herself. She could not put that stuff on her eggs anymore. She'd eat them plain and boring; all thanks to Carter.

Sniffling a lot bit, she began to prod the eggs with her spoon. For being so hungry only minutes ago, she wasn't so much anymore. But of course, all that changed once Carter opened his mouth and said that. Did he NOT know who he was talking to here? Just because she was a little upset did not mean he could eat more than her.

"PFFFFT!!" Rolling her eyes, Destiny pushed the eggs from in front of her and pulling the entire bowl of potatoes towards herself, she shoveled a spoonful into her mouth. "You're going to be a growing boy full of embarrassment when I eat all these potatoes."

Carter watched for a second as Destiny poked her eggs. The girl needed to eat something.

"Hey!" he exclaimed when Destiny grabbed the whole bowl of potatoes. "I wasn't done putting that on my plate!"

He pointed his wand at the bowl of potatoes further down the table. He caught it in his hand. "How much you wanna bet?" he asked with a wicked smirk. He then stuck his spoon in the bowl, making sure his spoonful was larger than Destiny's, and then stuck it in his mouth.

Mmmm. Potatoes.

'The one we were sort of teasing on the train, William!' ROse grinned. SHe had just remembered them all teasing him and Jordan and her feeling sorry, and telling them to stop! 'Shock. Horror. No girls! Oh, no, you're not going to turn into one of them people... What's the saying... All work and no play?' Rose grinned

Pfft!

It sure looked like Carter was done with those potatoes. It didn't look like anymore could even fit onto his plate, and if he tried to put anymore on it, the sky scraper that he was building would surely topple. And then he would be eating off the table and Destiny was sure that the house elves did little house elf dances on them while everyone slept. No one knows where a house elf's feet been.

"I bet you one of my chocolate frog collections." Because she wasn't stupid enough to bet them all. Eyes narrowing as she noticed how big the spoonful of potatoes Carter just shoved into his mouth, Destiny picked up another spoon. He was going DOWN!

Shoving both spoons into the bowl, she began shoveling the potatoes into her mouth one spoonful at a time. And just so he knew..

"You're going down, Carter!"

Uh huh...

Nodding slightly at the young lion, though giving no smiles, her attention was mostly distracted by what was going on up by the staff table. So much of a distraction, that she didn't notice she was probably looking ridiculous standing there with her mouth hanging open slightly in shock, and barely noticed anything else. Did Bentley just slap Vinny?!

Evelyn was tempted to sit back down to continue watching, but just as she was doing so, she shook her head and stood back up again, moving away from the Gryffie table. There was definitely new respect points to the Herbology teacher from this Slytherin, but she had other things to do.

"Haha. Oh yes, William. I've actually talked to him a few times, believe it or not. Funny you mention that quote, because my Uncle always told me, if you date any girls early on, they may not be available later in life. That's how I go by it. Haha." Jordan replied laughing about what his Uncle Chris had said to him.

'I don't get that quote! What does it mean 'we won't be available'? We'll always be here!' Rose grinned

"It means if you date them now, and you date alot, you may not be able to marry them or get serious when you get older as an adult. Especially since we're really young." Jordan said replying to Rose's question.

'Right, and is that demeaning to girls in any way?' Rose asked unsure of what any of that meant. 'So what age are you thinking of dating?' Rose asked. She was gonna laugh if he said fourth year. He really would be an all work and no play boy.

"Haha. This is why you don't tell any other girls I said this. And, I'm not quite sure. Time will come. Maybe one day. Not for sure though when I'll start." Jordan said feeling awkward of the conversation hoping that Rose didn't think he was strange, or different than the other guys around hogwarts.

Ronnie Weasley walked into the Great Hall, and walked quietly to the Gryffindor table. She looked for someone to sit by, but thought otherwise. She then found a spot that was very empty, and she decided to sit there. She then began to eat her breakfast.

" Hi Ronnie" Willaim smiled. " nice to see a friendly face" Willaim told Ronnie. "Are you doing ok?" Wiliam asked Ronnie.

'Wow... You're a Philosopher!' Rose grinned, although actually moved by his words. Words shouldn't do that...

'Hai, Ronnie!' Rose grinned

"Hi Ronnie. I'm not sure if we met or not, my name is Jordan. Nice to meet you." Jordan said trying to remember whether or not he introduced himself already.

Carter smirked slightly. Did he do it? Did he actually cheer up Destiny and get her to eat by accident?

"Deal." he said. "And if you win - which you won't - I'll take you to Honeyduke's and pay for whatever you can manage to fit in a basket." That should be enough motivation to at least make this interesting to watch. Although, the winner was obvious. There was no way Destiny could out-eat him.

Grabbing a second spoon he dipped on in the potato skyscraper on his plate and the other in the potato bowl in front of him. He stuck each spoonful in his mouth one after the other and then repeated the process.


He was SO winning this thing.

Pffft!

Carter was rather confident, wasn't he? Destiny gave him a look that clearly said he better have enough GALLEONS, because she could fit the whole Honeyduke's supply of chocolate into a basket. And she was going to win this potato eating contest. Quickly grabbing one of his hands, she gave it a shake to seal the deal. No backing out now Carter.

Eyes narrowing slightly as she watched him pick up another spoon, copying off of her, of course, Destiny decided to pick up two more spoons. Two spoons in each hand. She gave them all a little clank in his direction, quite possibly splatting some potatoes on him before digging back into her bowl.

"What happens if one of us chokes?" she asked with a mouthful of food.

Probably should have asked that first.

Ronnie turned to see Jordan talking to her. "Hi Jordan! Nice to meet you too!" she said, her face turning slightly red. "Would you like to sit with me?" she asked, hoping she was making a friend. "There's plenty of room." she said with a smile.

"That voice sounds familiar..." Ronnie said aloud, turning to find the person she was hoping to see. "Rose!" she said, grinning back. She gave her a big hug and said, "Sit down, there's plenty of room!" she had been feeling very happy lately, for some reason.

Jordan turned and sat down. "Oh yeah. So, how are you liking Hogwarts?" Asked Jordan

'Hai! Ronnie!' Rose hugged her friend back. 'Everything alright your end? I've finally found someone to hang out with, apart from you, of course!' Rose grinned

'I just showed Jordan this awesome trick! It turned my cat into a princess hat for his head!' Rose grinned. 'I'll show you later!'
