"We'll just have to find someone to help then wont we." laughed Aurora. She screwed up the chocolate wrapper and dropped it on her plate. The rubbish disappeared and she grinned. She loved the elves here. "Post!" she said, grinning and looking into the flurry of owls for Sage. Nope, still not back. Her face fell as the owls all delivered their letters and disappeared to the owlery.

Leo's okay I suppose. The triplets just general idiots and Marley has exams so he's all serious....' Thea smiled, her tounge sticking out slightly. 'Oh yeah, I also have a seven year old brother. He'll be coming here too when he's eleven.' Thea rolled her eyes. Actually.. she didn't think she had mentioned Seth to Matt or Zara etc either.. whoops.. Heheh. He's only a little'un.. easy to forget ..even though he was her brother. Hm.. moving on... 'How old is your sister?' Thea plopped her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands.
Thea grinned as she saw Nika's bright hair appear from round the other side of Tayla. 'Yusss! We've met, we're fwendsss!' Nika never failed to make Thea smile. Heheh.

She shook her head, though a very slight smile played at the corners of her lips. It was a little bit amusing, the idea that swimming in the lake when the weather was preparing to snow, would make them men.
"You blame me for everything anyways, so I don't mind." Legend said with a smile as another piece of pancake entered his mouth. Picking up his goblet he downed some Pumpkin Juice before speaking again. "Getting sick isn't a problem for men." Yeah! Maybe. Miguel said that that. Legend believed it.
He shook his head at Katie's words. SHE was the one who was wrong. He didn't want to get into an argument with her but he couldn't help what he wanted to say. "You aren't a man Katie. You don't know what you're talking about. You're like...a girl." He nodded. Katie wanted him to notice that she was a girl and he did. So she wasn't allowed to give him advice about being a man.

No, this couldn't be. She had to know where he was. Since the "new" Gryffindor Prefect was only a few chairs away, Zara's feet began to act on their own, standing up and suddenly approaching him. 'What the--?'
She tried to stop, to go back to where she was previously seated. All she needed to know was where Patroclus was, and maybe by silently listening there, she'd know. Maybe one of Legend's friends would ask, and she would get the information. But why was she approaching him? This was not good. NOT GOOD.
And there she was. At the back of Legend's chair, staring at him. She cleared her throat, taking the chance now. She just had to know NOW. Where on earth is Patroclus. "Hi," Zara said, biting her lip. She refused to believe he was the new Prefect. She refused to look at that place where the Prefect badge was supposed to be. Luckily, Legend was seated.
A small "hi" over his head, Legend looked up, surprised to see small Zara standing above him. He smiled at the first year who didn't seem to happy. It was if she was upset or worried about something. "Hey Zara. What's up? Wanna sit?" He pointed at the seat that was empty on the other side of him.

Because she was clearly not happy. His face slightly fell and he pouted a little: Why was it that KT did not share his opinion on Legend being the pants, Merlin himself wore. She out right said, Legend was wrong. "But but .. Lord Borr gave us those assignment .. and Legend said that being a man required doing such stuff" he nodded, biting his tongue as to not spill out his other conversation with Legend. Somehow, it didn't feel appropriate to discuss chest and chin hair with Lexi next to him and KT in front of him. UMM YEAH. So he would just let Legend do the talking now and concentrate on his breakfast, yep!
Of course, it was only a momentary bliss because they were all on him again. Lexi was asking him about girls and patting his back when he choked. It didn't really help now that she was touching his back and was also being the one asking him about girls. "No no .. it's okay. I .. uh ... yeah" WHAT WAS HE SUPPOSE TO SAY? She was clearly amused at his awkward ways. And then thanks to Legend, Orlando wanted to drown in his pumpkin juice. His cheeks colored deeply, hearing Legend ask Lexi so bluntly. Being not so subtle, the boy kicked the older Gryffindor under the table.
"Well I guess it's fun but you still have to work with-" Legend's eyes floated on Lexi. Yeah. He had to work with you. That was obviously not fun, since Lexi was annoying and uptight about everything. The blond didn't see why most girls were like this.
"Yeah, doing those stuff does make you a man." It was why Borr gave them the assignments to do. He only gave them to the girls as well because he didn't want to come off as sexist. But it was really a man assignment.
A sharp pain shot through his leg. Legend clenched his teeth. LANDO! His eyes expressed his anger but he made no sound. "Alright dude, sorry." He whispered. He never meant to embarrass Lando. Only embarrass Lexi.

Poor Lando. Lexi smiled as she watched his cheeks flame red. She really hadn't meant to embarrass him. Like, at all. He was a sweet boy and she was only trying to make conversation. "I'm sorry, Orlando. Look... I will catch up with you in the Yearbook office. I need to get up there and get to work on some things. See ya!" she said as she gathered up her things, shoved some bacon in her bag and GLARED at Legend. FEH.
His emerald green eyes rolled into his head. NOT special? Did Denver actually think that? Then obviously she was dropped on her head as a baby because Legend was the very definition of SPECIAL. "But she still chose me. Out of all the other people she could have picked. So I guess I am special huh?" His brows went up challenging her.
Noob? What was that? Legend had no clue and shrugged it off before returning back to his food. YUM. Syrup.

Well. Lexi Denver was the very definition of RUDE. Grabbing his knife, Legend cut his pancakes into pieces before stuffing a couple in his mouth. The sweet sticky mess that entered his mouth, tasted like heaven. "Vyu ounw." He took a few minutes to finish chewing before continuing on. "It wouldn't kill you to say hi. VERY Rude to ignore me. Don't think Donovan would like you ignoring her new personally chosen Prefect." Legend did NOT take being ignored well.
Sophie had been informed that the male prefect badge was going to pass over to a new boy now that Patroclus was leaving school. The brunette didn't know why Patroclus her friend and patrol buddy was leaving since she hadn't seen or talked to him but it seemed to be for the rest of the school year. The lioness prefect entered the great hall and stolled over ot the Gryffindor house table where she overheard a boy announce to some other house members that he was 'Madam Donovan's newly personally chosen prefect.' The beach blond haired boy who spoke was boasting. Catching his eye she smiled at him brightly "Hi! I don't think we've met. I'm Sophie Connolly. The female house prefect." Seating herself opposite the blond boy she took a plate and started to pile on bacon, eggs and potatoes.

A soft sigh escaped the Hufflepuff as Lando pouted a bit because of her straightforward disagreement with the boys antics. Really, could they not see the problem with swimming in a lake during winter? "Yes he did, and that's a good point; Have you seen Borr at school at all? If it were any other professor, including Headmaster Tate, you know they would be doing this kind of assigment with us." As in, this Borr guy was not only obviously off his rocker, but an awful teacher too. Hmmph!
Katie's dark eyes turned from the boy in front of her, to the one she was sitting beside, the corners of her lips twitching upward at Legend's words in slight amusement. "Not everything." It wasn't everything! She only blamed him when it was his fault. Not a problem? That was funny. "Uhhuh.. whatever you say, Legend." Just let them wait and see, when she was right, they would not be so ready to go jumping into freezing water again.
Watching the blonde Gryffindor shake his head, Katie knew she probably should have just let it go. They were grown boys, logically they should know what they were getting themselves into, but still.. it was her job to look out for them. She was the girl of the group, after all. The sensible one. And it took a lot not to snort at what Legend said next, "I believe the proper term would be woman, not girl, if you two are 'men'." Katie replied cooly, a small smile playing on her lips. She was seven months older than both of them, the eldest and therefore the first to become of age. She was certainly not a little girl, if Legend believed them to be men.
As for the rest of their discussion, Legend's insistence that she didn't know what she was talking about because she wasn't a man and Lando's pouting while he ate, Katie had dismissed the subject entirely. Rather suddenly, a small voice came from behind them, causing the curly-haired brunette to turn slightly right as Legend looked up and greeted the young Gryffindor lioness cub. Offering the girl a small smile, Katie nodded in agreement when Mister Prefect invited her to sit. "Yes, you're welcome to join us if you'd like."
Katie had felt Legend move beside her, if only very slightly, when Lando had kicked him. Slowly and quietly chewing on another piece of pancake, the seventh year glanced from the Gryffindor seated next to her, to the Gryffindor seated across from her and back to her plate, smearing the rest of her pancake in syrup. NOPE! She was staying out of this one. It was when Orlando spoke up again, that Katie turned her gaze to him, her smile growing a little bit. "Good." It was a bit amusing, him calling her 'ma'am' again. It was what he called her when they first met, up until she finally convinced him to just call her Katie. She was rather fond of it now. Turning her eyes back down, Katie played with her food a bit.
Somewhere amongst the conversations and eating, Lexi had decided to leave. Although she had said she had things to do, Katie was also fairly sure Legend was to blame, which wouldn't have been a surprise. It appeared to her that the Gryffindor girl didn't know how to handle Legend, but then this was the first time seeing their interaction, so maybe she was wrong? Not that it mattered. That was Legend's business, and nothing she was going to worry over. She had enough trouble just making sure he and the other boys made it out of school unharmed.
Resting her fork on her plate for a moment, Katie reached over to pour herself some water just as another girl came walking over and took Lexi's abandoned seat. It seemed her interest was with Legend, since that's who she was looking to as she introduced herself. Actually, the girl hadn't really even acknowledged neither herself or Orlando. Her dark eyes moved on to Lando, and catching his gaze, Katie didn't bother resisting the urge to roll her eyes, her nose wrinkling a bit in a classic displeased Katie Mae manner. The seventh year plopped another piece of pancake into her mouth.

Sarah literally jogged into the Great Hall. She was dead hungry and wanted get a bite of something. She walked past the people there and sat down at her house table. She kept her bag close to her and grabbed a plate, loading it with the goodies on the table.
