Septimus sat down at the Gryffindor table. It felt great to be back home. It was nice to be out of the orphanage for a while. It was almost like nothing had changed about Hogwarts, which was good because he wouldn't want this place any different than the way he left it last term. He looked around the Great Hall. They did change over the summer break. But they were the same people he knew and loved in first year. And who knew what knid of people he'd meet this time?

"Hello, how are you? My name is Jordan. First Year in Gryffindor, and hope it's a good one." Said Jordan to a student who he thought he was a little order than him as he knew what he was doing while at Hogwarts.
"Yeah Hogwarts is full of surprises." Full indeed. Trapdoors and a room of requirement, Hogwarts should be the new definition of surprises. Nika laughed a little and nodded her head. "It only gets bigger really. This place is HUGE! Not like my old school anyway. So I see your a Gryffie now! Congrats!"
Krissa laughed. "Oh no! I'm awful with directions!" It was ture she couldn't find her way out of a paperbag. "I'll probably ger lost in some cupboard the first day and never get out!" She smiled. "And thanks! I'm really excited! I was hoping to get into Gryffindor!" All the Gryffindors she had met on the train had been so nice that she had immediately had a preference for the house.

"Absolutely not." Krissa said seriously, and then smiled, "Nah I'm just joking, you don't have to ask, of course you can sit here." Clove had seemed like a really nice person on the train. "So awesome that we're both in Gryffindor!" She added genuinely.
Legend Chosen was in the building. Or rather castle. Yeah that thing. Strutting past other students Legend made his way over to the first opening he saw at the Gryffindor table. Yes. HIS TABLE. He had sat at this table probably over two thousand times. He really couldn't believe it was his last year.
Brushing his hair out of his eyes he looked up at the new and old Gryffies. "Hey Lexi! Simon!" He gave a slight nod to the new Gryffindors around him that he did not know. "Orlando!!" His eyes traveled to the person who was with him. Out of courtesy he gave Katie a stiff nod.
Only Legend Chosen was that loud. Heh. Rufus began to bounce and chatter and POINTED at him a bit. Reaching into her plastic baggie she gave him another grape to calm him down.
"Hey Legend!" she said as loudly as she could. Her split lip and bruised face still made it difficult to speak sometimes. SIGH.
"So, what do you think about the Great Hall? I think it's beautiful, don't you? I love the skies in the ceiling." Skies in a ceiling was not a normal ceiling for Jordan, as he was used to the standard, nothing in the ceiling. But again, this is Hogwarts, not the muggle world.
He looked around for his friends from the train. He figured they would be entering the Great Hall as soon as they got their trunks up and got off the train. He thought some people were still on the train, saying their last goodbyes and making their final purchases at the food trolley. "Great Hall seems a bit empty, don't ya think?" Asked Jordan as he was starting to run out of questions to ask or topics to talk about.
"oh yeah, the ceiling's gorgeous," scout said through a mouthful of shepard's pie. "the hall does seem a little empty, but i imagine people are just being slow, you know..." jordan seemed pretty distracted, judging by his comment, he must be waiting on some friends. "everyone will be here soon." she smiled, trying to reassure him, as his fidgeting was making scout a little nervous.
she tried for a change of subject: "so anyway, what's your story?" she took another bite of shepard's pie and turned to jordan with wide eyes.

Nika nodded in agreement. WAY too long. "Yeah I've been wonderful. Holiday was nice, but getting on the train was nicer!" Her holidays were pretty much alright. Other than her fight with her sister. "I'm so happy to see everyone here and oh I'm just so excited!" Very true, only gravity alone is keeping her from bouncing off of the walls.

Nika smiled at the younger girl. "Well you should be glad that your a Gryffie! It's the bestest house ever!" House pride, no biggie. "Oh, and I'm Nika by the way! Are you a first year?" Well she probably was. That or a transfer student. Nika hadn't seen her before.

"Hey no problem! It's always nice to have some help!" It would have been nice for Nika to have some her first year too, but luckily Emily and her were able to figure things out pretty quickly. "Yeah! The common room is great! It's so homey." She couldn't wait to get her stuff unpacked in the dorms and then head down to the common room and grab a seat by the fire place.

Nika smiled as she saw a familiar face. Even though the kid probably didn't enjoy her rather overly cheerfulness she bounced up and down anyways. "Hey SEPTIMUS!" AHH that name. Hehe, every time.

Concentrating and talking to Scout and not worrying of his friends on the train, "Well I was born in California in the United States, but when I was 9 my uncle decided to move to London, where they told me our ancestors and my family were Purebloods of magic. At this point, I'm jumping up and down like a horse that just one a race. It wasn't until a few weeks ago, that I heard about my parents. My parents were both in Gryffindor, both really cool people according to a source. But when I was 9, a dark wizard came to our house in London and destroyed everything, even killed my parents. But, right before they were about to kill me, the Aurors, dark wizards catchers, saved me and apparated right in front of me. They told me I was very lucky to send them a message."
Continuing his story after some Pumpkin Juice, "But right before they came, the dark wizard casted some type of remembering spell on me. I think it was called Obliviate or something. So I was wiped of all my memories, the good and the bad, it wasn't until my Uncle Chris took custody of me two years ago, and explained everything that happened, all through my life. Who my parents were, how they died, who he was. Pretty much my whole life."
Jordan was out of breath and ready to move on,"So tell me, what was your story, Scout?"
"You don't have to tell me that! I was practically counting down the days until I could get back on the train!" Adelyn replied, laughing slightly. The holidays were never a good time, what with her mother...she shrugged it off. She was at Hogwarts. Home. Nothing else mattered. "It's still hard to believe we're actually back, you know? I can't wait to see everyone and meet the new firsties! Words cannot even describe what I'm feeling right now!" Honestly. She was having trouble forming words just thinking about being back here again.
It was very rare for Kaitlynnh to be seen sitting anywhere but with the lions, there had been a couple times throughout the past six years that she would sit at her own House table or with William at the Ravenclaw table however this term, upon boarding the train actually, she had made a conscious decision not to sit amongst the Gryffindors. For very good reasons, by all means, she should not sit with the boys. And here Orlando Renaldi was, happily (and blindly) taking her by the arm and leading her toward the wrong table.
Kaitlynnh had tried protesting, though rather weakly. He couldn't possibly have any idea of why not to bring her along and it wasn't something she wanted to get into at the moment, so her small, mumbled protests fell on deaf ears due to his obvious joy. Reluctantly she allowed him to guide her, gaze fixed on the floor beneath her feet, refusing to look up in fear of seeing a familiar head of blonde hair. Her heartbeat quickened a little bit, arms wrapped carefully around the cruppy she had yet to officially present Orlando with. The Hufflepuff had to stop abruptly when Lando did, not having been paying attention, she hadn't expected to reach the table so soon.
Still keeping her head down, the seventh year gave a small nod and slid onto the bench, waiting for Lando to take his place next to her. It was out of habit that she looked up at the sound of Legend's voice as he greeted the other Gryffindor, and instantly she regretted it. Frowning, Katie redirected her gaze to the table, murmuring a pathetic little "Hi." Her fingers idly stroking the cruppy's soft fur.

"Oh good." Krissa was glad that she wasn't the only walking disaster of Gryffindor house. "I'm sure all the houses think that their house is the best though. I mean take pride in who ya are I guess." Krissa smiled. "But yeah Gryffindor is definitely the best." She hadn't even been in this school for ten minutes and she already knew it.

"whoa." scout hadn't expected such an intense story when she asked jordan about his history. she hoped she hadn't offended him by asking him that question straight away. perhaps that wasn't the smartest question to start their conversation with? "i mean, are you OK? sounds crazy."
"...my story is no where near as thrilling. i'm from just outside of sheffield in northern england. i have three siblings, two older and one younger. and i'm of mixed blood heritage - my parents are both wizards, but my dad was raised by muggles - so i was raised in the wizarding world." scout shrugged, emphasizing the boringness of her life story. she twirled her long brown hair around a finger, feeling a little awkward...

Yeah well you could think of it that way... OR you could think of it the Nika way! Which is: Gryffies all the way! "Yeah you're right. But house pride never hurts anyone right?" Hehe. A little too much might, but Nika isn't about to argue with herself.

"YO! LEGEND!" the sixteen year old grinned wider seeing the other half of his group of friends arrive. "Didn't see you at the train, mate! Where were you?" he asked, following Katie and taking a seat beside her.
All was good now. The epic feast will begin and he was with his friends - SO FAR, the year was going good, yep. Now all he had to do was nom on those delicious looking chicken legs without looking disgusting and obnoxious in front of KT.
Though Orlando's head was partially occupied with the want of chicken legs and return at Hogwarts - he still didn't miss the cold exchange between his two friends. The confusion was obvious on his face, he looked at Legend and then at KT and back at Legend again.
Orlando fought the urge to blurt out a 'WHAT'S UP!?' to them both to know the possible story his was missing here. Last he had checked, after a long saga of denials and buttheadedness - KT and Legend had gotten together. So what now?
The awkward 'Hi' KT passed made Orlando frown. Yep, he had missed an episode - which possibly had occurred during the holidays. It seemed that KT was shrinking more and more into herself - he wandered if she was planning to go under the table or something.
"What happened?" he blurted out, with a frown turning to look at them both.

Legend turned his head back to his other house mates. More specifically the annoying Denver. Well..she wasn't really annoying. But he'd call her that. Not out loud though. That would just be asking for trouble and Legend wasn't that stupid.
He knew girls were dangerous.
"WHAT'S UP LEXI???" He purposely yelled loudly, a small smirk appearing on his face as he did it. That girl had a problem with his volume. "What happened to your face?" The words were blurted out once he realized her split lip and bruise.

No time for loud yelling now. No. Katie was here and he didn't even want to TALK to her. Not even LOOK at her. But Legend wasn't stupid. He realized that, that was childish. And he wasn't a child anymore. In a few days he'd be 17. A legal adult in the wizarding world. He couldn't act childish when it came to friendship or other important stuff.
...But that still didn't mean that he didn't want to see Katie's face.
"I was there! Hanging out with this chocolate eating third year and a firstie. And Pluto." Because Legend attracted little kids like garbage attracted flies. They just leached on to him. "How was your Summer Orlando?"
Legend faintly noticed the small Crup in Katie's arms. She hadn't given him it yet? Strange. "Hello Katie. How was your Summer?" He actually didn't know. Nor did he care. Or maybe he did care. But he just didn't care enough to see if he actually cared. Yeah..that was it. "What do you mean what happened?" His hand reached for his goblet of Pumpkin Juice, taking a slip while trying to avoid the awkward conversation. He wasn't going to tell Lando. Nope. Sure they had broken up, but this was much more than just that, and he doubted that Katie even realized it.

"Well at least it's normal for a kid. And it's alright, I'm use to it by now." Replied Jordan with a bit of a slight laugh since Scout thought his story was so interesting. But he liked when people were just normal, so he could be around normal wizards and witches alike.

After that ridiculously long ride in the Hogwarts Express, Braeden wanted nothing more than to stuff his face until he could take no more. And the time for that had finally arrived.
As he walked into the Great Hall along with all the other Hogwarts students, Braeden couldn't wipe that dorky grin off his face. Just look at all the food! He was disappointed he had to say bye to half the group - Theo and Roderigo - as they headed to the Ravenclaw table, but at least he still had Riley… who was, uh… kinda giving him the silent treatment for annoying him at the train. Oops.
No time to worry now, though!
Braeden approached the Gryffindor table and plopped down on the first empty seat he could find, taking a plate and beginning to create a tiny little mountain of food on it. A typical-Brae meal, one bigger than his head (and with that lion's mane we call hair, Brae's head was not that small).
But, of course, this was Braeden Stonem. Something has to go wrong.
So, two minutes later, as he turned at the sound of his name coming from one of the other tables (huh, maybe someone with the same name as him?), his left arm accidentally knocked the plate of food right onto his lap.

Where was Elliooooot??? Unless Peyton had been on something when they had last spoken, she was quite sure he was at this school. In freaking Gryffindor. Yet he was no where to be found. Going around and looking at the folks faces, maaaay just be a creepy thing to do. What if he had been older then he said and just lying to her?!!! Ehh... he didn't seem the lying type.
You know, for the most part.
Suddenly she bumped into someone as she attempted to squeeze through the kids who were standing up. "Ohh I am sooo sorry," she apologized to the boy, patting him on the head. Darn her backside. Hehe suuure this kid wasn't a first year, yet it was in her nature to pat people on the head.

Welcome to your sixth year at Hogwarts, Brae.
As the girl stood their with a apologetic expression on her face, she could help but find herself glance at what another boy had seemed to have done. His food had fallen in his lap. The Slytherin did a -gigglesnort- sort of sound and quickly covered her mouth. Daaang where had that come from? "Stuffing our face too fast are we?" she remarked with a smirk type thing on her face. She couldn't help in holding back a few more laughs. Everyone had done that once or twice in their life... maybe three times... still, every time she saw it happened, it she so happened to find it funny.

Welcome to your sixth year at Hogwarts, Brae.
Fourth year. That meant three more years before graduating- Yikes. The train ride to Hogwarts was actually quite short this time compared to last year. Maybe she was just getting use to it?
The blonde, who was bored at her own table, walked over to the Gryffindor table. Perhaps she would see one of her friends here. And there was one. The adorkable, cute brunette. Braeden Stonem. She called his name and it seemed as if he dropped something on himself.. Oh dear. Emma hadn't seen Braeden since Sugarplums and there encounter ended quite quickly actually. She couldn't really remembered what had happened. Did they manage to catch up? She wasn't a hundred percent sure.
The fourth year saw an open seat next to him. "Hey Brae, can I sit here please? Sorry about calling your name and making you... spill your food.." she said, sheepishly. She always managed to catch people at the worst time these days. The blonde beamed him a warm smile. She pulled her wand and pointed to the mess he had made and whispered the charm for the scourgify spell. It cleaned up the mess immediately. "There we go. All better."

Chris strode confidently over to the Gryffindor table, excited for yet another year at Hogwarts to break the monotony of normal life. Even purebloods get bored during the summer.
She plopped down into a random seat, piling food of all kinds onto her plate. She hadn't eaten like this since well... since the last feast. She turned her head as she heard a slight yelp coming from an older boy next to her, and couldn't help but laugh a little as she noticed the food dripping slowly to the floor from his lap. "Need some help?" she said politely. Just because it was funny didn't mean she had to rub it in.
Bouncing into the Great hall, the seventh year held a little ball of scruffy orange, rust colored fur in his arms. He glanced down at the purebred Vizsla puppy unsure of how he had warmed up to the thing so fast. Sure, he had lost his dog only about a month ago and was somewhat inconsiderately given to him before he was ready for another pet. But, being the warm cuddly boy he was, the dog was quickly accepted into his family becoming his second in command, because he refused to call the dog 'his partner in crime,' seeing it was his.. well his former dog's title.
Bounding over to the Gryffindor table, the brunette sat down softly cradling the soft, sleepy puppy in his arms. With his free arm, he gathered suitable food for little Woody and snuck it into his pocket for the pup for later. Once he was wide awake of course.

Simon would graduate this year. He was the only Captain she had known, hopefully she would play for him again this year.
"Oh hello, did you enjoy your summer?" Selina squeaked. Her vocal chords still jumped around every time he was around, but she was getting better... somewhat.
Simon nodded at first before actually answering verbally. "Uh huh I did. The summer actually turned out decently," he replied admiting it truthfully. If he noticed the squeak in her voice he made no real reaction to it. "How about you?"

Hearing his name being called in greeting, Simon turned his head and spotting his teammate and fellow seventh year Gryffindor. "Hey Legend. Enjoy your summer?" he returned the greeting with a polite smile.
