| | | Gryffindor Common Room Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Oddsbodikins!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes.
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby. |

Now though, she didn't really want to. It was a challenge - she was good at challenges, well, eating ones - but all the same, she wasn't entirely sure how she was supposed to act. Angry? Comforting? Was she supposed to pry? Or just walk away? Or should she explode in fits of frustrated rage? She was confused, the lines blurring as she frowned, trying to sort out her head.
She was lying again. The blonde rolled her eyes and took another step forward. "Why're you so angry?" she asked, eyebrows cocked as her tone mirrored that of Thea's. Cold, and somewhat irritated. Oh stop. Another step forward? Again, Thea tried to lean back. 'Jesus, what is with you?!' Thea couldn't help it. 'I'm angry for a lot of reasons! Too many reason to waste time talking about!' It all came bursting out, Thea's cheeks became flushed, and she swept a hand over her hair. Licking her lips she scowled. 'Heard of personal space?' Wrinkling her nose, she moved along the sofa.
Looking away, she watched the bright fire again. All she could hear at that moment was the crackling of the merry flames. Crashing back down to reality, she looked to see if this Hemo was still there. Impressed with the tone of voice she had used, Thea guessed she was eventually getting thorugh.

Crashing back down to reality, she looked to see if this Hemo was still there. Impressed with the tone of voice she had used, Thea guessed she was eventually getting thorugh. "Personal space and me don't really mix." she said airily, blue eyes narrowed as she bounded forward again, shamelessly following Thea as she edged backwards along the sofa. She stopped, mere feet away, arms clasped across her chest as she stared down at her, head still cocked to the side slightly, not unlike a puppy dog. "What's with me?" she asked incredulously, frowning. This girl was off her nut. "No one's with me." She quickly looked left and right, hastily double-checking to see if Rose or some other Gryffindor had turned up at her side without her realizing.
Satisfied and rubbing her thumb absently against the ball of her elbow, she stuck out her jaw, defiant, taking another step forward and closing the last of the remaining space between them. Fueled by a combination of frustration at the girl and the sudden need to perhaps have a little fun, she blocked Thea's view of the fire - which she seemed uncannily intent on staring at - with her body. "You." she said, wrinkling her nose and bending at the hip so they were now eye to eye. "You're odd. And grumpy. And, if you don't mind me saying, a bit..." She frowned, trying to think of the right words. "...well, totally mean." She smirked, and reached out a finger to boop her nose. "Just chill, T. Let loose." And with that, she turned on her feet, tassles flying, before she collapsed into the space beside the Gryffindor, pressed fairly closely to the side of Thea's slightly-smaller-than-her figure. Personal space and Hemo didn't really mix, after all.

Was she the only one who was not completely thrown off guard by this little meeting? And the better question was how was this meeting even possible. She knew for a fact that Professor Bishop was not a Seer. So how did she get into the future with her...?
Sensing the younger Selina's shock the older Selina stepped forward and put a hand on the younger Selina's shoulder, "Wicked right?"
The younger Selina looked even more confusedly at the older version of herself and said, "Wicked? How did she even get here... I'm in the future with you or me or something like that."
The older Selina shot an amused look at Professor Bishop and said, "Yes, you are in the future... but you are still in your head. Let me explain, a vision is a very tricky thing. You don't get transported to the future when you have a vision. It is more like your brain connects to the future in some odd kind of stream and plays it like a movie in your head. Kind of similar to a memory in a pensieve. But you see here is how the vision differs, yes it is in your head, but because I have the same kind of stream that happens in my head I can connect to yours. Only on rare occasions. But it will happen in your life time a few times."
"So if this is happening in my head... how is Professor Bishop here?" The young Selina questioned.
The older Selina got a very serious look on her face and looked up at Bishop, "I think that it isn't my place to say." Renée felt a large amount of sympathy for the Selina she actually knew, seeing as the little redhead seemed entirely confused by her appearance in this vision. To be entirely honest, she wasn't entirely sure how to explain it anyway, without revealing things that she'd kept hidden for so long, except for from certain other professors. There was definitely some danger in what she'd done, but it was either that or failing Selina in her promise, so here she was now. Facing both the Selina she knew and an older version who, once again, didn't seem one bit surprised by her appearance.
In fact, she'd decided to stay quiet as the younger Selina's questions hit her, letting the other Selina answer how she will. At least then perhaps she could gain a better understanding of what she'd entered into, because right now she felt like an actor who was thrust onto stage with no idea of what play they were acting in. She just managed to hide it due to her own self-control and faith that things would be answered in their own time. And, luckily, the words that were being spoken to the younger Selina actually did help her understand more of what was going on, and how she actually might be able to help. Of course, then the focus was back on herself, and she gave a serious look to the older Selina.
"I can promise things will be explained in time," she replied calmly, although she still was trying to figure out how she could reveal her secret to one and not have the others outside learn it all. "First, you need to understand what's going on here, so we can get back and show Kurumi and the others that you're fine." She was definitely stalling, she just didn't know how long it would succeed.

"First, you need to understand what's going on here, so we can get back and show Kurumi and the others that you're fine." She was definitely stalling, she just didn't know how long it would succeed. Selina looked between the older version of herself and Professor Bishop. There was an unspoken bond between the two. They knew something she did not and of course it seemed that she was not meant to know exactly what it was that they both knew about. Her mind shot back to what the older version of herself said earlier about revealing the future too much... its dangerous. Of course she was one to talk, Selina could see the future anyway, but maybe, just maybe, there was a reason why Selina didn't see every last bit of the future. Only small snitbits here and there.
While she was deep in thought the older Selina walked up to Bishop and whispered, "How much longer until you can pull her out? I can feel the connection starting to break. I don't want to worry her, but if we don't get her out soon this state she is in, she'll stay in for a long time. I'd rather not rewrite my youth and have a year or so be kept in a coma if you catch my drift."
Just when the present Selina snapped back into the reality of the moment she looked over at Bishop and her older self, "What?"
"I just said that you've got to get back soon. Not that I haven't enjoyed your company, but I have things to do today. I've already seen what I do today, pretty exciting stuff," she shot a side way glance to Bishop.
The young Selina caught this and said, "You two aren't going to tell me, are you?"
The older Selina put her hand on the younger one's shoulder and said, "Trust us."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jordan Kobe Fifth Year | RP Anyone? I Can Accept Failure. But I Can't Accept Not Trying
After a long day of being Polyjuiced as Rose, Jordan felt relieved and happy to be him again. To relax he went into the Gryffindor Common Room to read the daily prophet and just chill momentarily, hoping to have a conversation or two with another student. He had finished his Potions Final and was relieved that it went the way it did. He had come to like Professor Lafay as a teacher. She seemed cool, and fun to work with. Although he thought it would be harder than it was in Potions Class. He then thought, Hmmm, Charms is coming up. Maybe I'll attend that class, to get some more points I hear they are giving out a lot for this last one, and I even heard no homework will be given out. He wanted to get as much house points as possible because compared to the other students, his points that he had earned seemed particularly low.

Upon scanning the Common Room, Ariadne noticed a slightly familiar housemate reading the newspaper. Her type of person. 'Anything interesting in the Prophet?' the girl asked, as a means of starting a conversation, though she was genuinely interested in current events and disappointed about not having read the paper herself that day. 'I'm not sure we've met before, so nice to meet you. I am Ariadne Marchbanks, or just Ari, a first year.' the girl introduced herself, realizing she hadn't met someone new in quite some time. Not surprisingly, since she had spent the last months doing homework most of the time.

He remembered her, because she was one of his first friends he introduced himself to on the train, that day on the Hogwarts Express.
"Nothing really catches my attention. Except for maybe people questioning why Lord Borr has two job titles, one as a Minister, and one as a Teacher." Jordan closed the paper and looked up to Ari. "Hello. I don't know if you remember me, but we were in the same compartment back on the Hogwarts Express before the term started. How are you doing? I'm Jordan, if you forgot, haha. How's your school year going?" Jordan asked hoping she remembers him from the Train.

Thea growled, staring at the annoyingly pretty blue-eyed girl. Pushing her knuckles into the cushion, Thea tried once again, to smile. 'Yes, I can tell.' Sniffing slightly, Thea again scooted over again. Chewing her lip, she determinedly looked away from the new kid.
Raising her eyebrows, Thea shifted position so she faced Hemo. 'Why, thankyou!' This time, the smile was real and not forced. But again the girl had crossed the line. Had she just touched her nose? Had she just come into contact? Thea growled. T? MrrrRRrrRr. 'I'll let loose, when you clear off..' she muttered to herslef, scratching her chin. 'Meow-urf-ow!' Head snapping downwards, Thea rolled her eyes as her large white cat strolled towards her, chasing away any other animal that she walked past. Scooping up the cat in her arms, she set about scratching her ears. Maleficent however, glared at the blonde sitting next to her. 'Anything else you wanted?' Thea asked, smiling sweetly. Hopefully, she'd try and touch the cat. Her grey eyes flashed happily.

Hemo snorted, tearing her gaze away from Thea as she lazily leant her head back against the blanketed fabric of the sofa, feeling the fur from her hat press tentatively against the nape of her neck. She absently grabbed a pillow from her right and pressed it to her chest, wrapping her arms around it and holding it tightly beneath her chin; she obviously wasn't going to be hugging this girl anytime soon, and the cushion made a worthy - if not comfortable - substitute. "I like to be close to people." she said with a shrug, eyeing her carefully. "I take it you don't." She smirked then, tucking her legs up underneath her as she attempted to make eye-contact, a failure to which she ignored; Thea's movement to which she did not. "Do I smell or something?" she asked, suddenly worried, her blue eyes wide as a blush crept onto her cheeks. Morris! A large grin broke out on her face as she spotted the cat wandering towards them through the throng of people. Something to hug! Then she frowned, the colour of the feline causing her brain to click into place as she let out a barely audible sigh. It wasn't Morris; the cat was white instead of black, although, their size was fairly similar. "No." she said, answering Thea's question half-heartedly, her attention now fully on the fluffy thing in front of her, sat on her fellow Gryffindor's lap. "She's very pretty." she said matter-of-factly, a small smile now gracing her lips. She reached out to palm the feline's back, the bracelets banging together melodically on her wrist. |

'I've been to close to people all my life.' She smiled sweetly.
Tucking a dark curl behind her ear, she watched the girl as she leant back slightly. ''What are you wearing that for? Save it for Quidditch matches..' Crossing her arms, she once again turned away.
Now it was Thea's turn to snigger. 'Smell? No you don't..' it had took a lot of self control not to throw something highly amusing at Hemo there.. Well Thea would of found it funny. The first year rubbed the back of her neck, and yawned. Looking the girl up and down, she snorted as she saw Hemo had gone red. Grabbing her locket, she fiddled about with it. Hisssss!' Maleficent was suddenly on her feet, batting furiously at Hemo's out stretched hand. Rolling her eyes, she grabbed the cat. Not soon enough, apparently. Maleficent's claws had just caught Hemo's finger. It wasn't big, but she was bound to make a fuss. 'Thankyou. She knows it..' Thea shoved the cat to the opposite end of the sofa. 'Stop! Now!' The cat simply settled down and began to purr. 'Sorry, she isn't very sociable.' Thea smiled a little bit.. only a little bit. 'She's a meanie..' Brushing her dark hair back, the frown returned. 'Sorry.. why are you still sitting here?..' Surely after her cat had attacked her, she'd get miffed and move on? |

The blonde frowned, the smiles gracing Thea's lips coming across as more and more...not-smiles, as her blue eyes met the cold, grey one's of the girl sitting opposite her. She bit back a whimper, biting down hard on her bottom lip. Maybe throwing herself upon Thea hadn't been such a good idea after all... Then again, it was the only way she knew how. No holding back, just throwing her whole personality into whoever's face crossed her firing-line.
The cat's claw bit through her finger and she winced, swiftly whipping her hand back as an instinctive yelp resonated in her throat. She stared at her attacker, her nose wrinkled as the initial pain retreated into a dull throb. She gazed, wide-eyed, back up at Thea's face. She figured she looked kind of terrified, her mouth slightly agape before she started sucking on her fingertip in an attempt to stop the flow. The other girl's lack of feeling and...was that a smile? Hemo bit back a growl. She ignored the comment about the hat, the question about why she was still sitting there and instead took a deep breath, backing up slightly along the sofa. "What have I done..." she said slowly, letting her eyes travel the length of the other Gryffindor's lounging figure before snapping back to her face. "...to make you so angry at me?" Her voice shook slightly, whether with rage or from the remnants of pain, she wasn't really sure. |

Her voice shook slightly, whether with rage or from the remnants of pain, she wasn't really sure. Rolling her eyes, Thea handed Hemo a crumpled tissue. She didn't know if the cut was bleeding or not..
Snarling, Thea's cold eyes bore into the girl. 'Angry?' Thea's nostrils flared, most likely making them look like train tunnels. Maleficent returned to her spot on Thea's lap, and resumed staring at Hemo, tail jerking backwards and forwards. Closing her eyes, she blew out, making random bits of her hair flutter about. The anger she was feeling was slowly, very slowly, ebbing away. This did not, however, make her feelings any more friendly. Feeling a bash on the back of her head, she whirled round to see Marley marching to the boys dorms. 'Not being nasty are we, Thea?' he called in his annoying I'm-so-grown-up voice. Crossing her arms over her chest, Thea resumed glaring at her fellow Gryffie. 'Your so.. up in my face.' Wrinkling her nose, her gaze swept to the hat. 'I'm really not that nice, or interesting. Why come over to me?' Thea's tears had been tears of rage, not unhappiness. It hadn't just been her acting this way. Four out of her five brothers at Hogwarts had also been acting up. Stupid stupid letter.. stupid stupid 'dad'...
Eyebrows narrowed, Thea smiled triumphantly. Ha! A reaction! Finally! 'Aw, hope I haven't upset you!' |

Eyebrows narrowed, Thea smiled triumphantly. Ha! A reaction! Finally! 'Aw, hope I haven't upset you!' She shrugged nonchalantly, taking the tissue from Thea's out-stretched hand and placing it gingerly over the thin, red slit that was carved into the tip of her finger. She watched as a boy came up to Thea, whacking the back of her head as he passed. She missed what he said, her attention still too focussed on the other girl's face. She'd be lying if she said the intricate emotions straying far beyond her years portrayed upon it didn't intrigue her. She cocked her eyebrows slightly; she knew she was "up in her face", metaphorically and literally, but she didn't think she could care enough about it to try and explain herself. "I came over..." she started, focussing on that instead, watching the anger of the other girl flare up violently behind those dark, fiery eyes. "...because I was worried about you. You were crying." she stated, as if it were the most simplest thing in the world, the worry still evident in her flickering gaze. "And then you got angry." She frowned again.
She snorted, rolling her eyes. "No." she said, avoiding her eyes and looking down at the devil-cat instead as her stomach twisted with the lie. |

"Hello. I don't know if you remember me, but we were in the same compartment back on the Hogwarts Express before the term started. How are you doing? I'm Jordan, if you forgot, haha. How's your school year going?" Jordan asked hoping she remembers him from the Train. That Lord Borr was enigmatic, to say the least. 'Well if he's as much a Minister as a Professor, I wonder how he spends his time.' the girl chuckled. She had never seen the man who was supposedly teaching her DADA.
Ah, yes, the train. It was a long time ago, last September, but still, how could she not remember?!? Ari was furious at her otherwise excellent memory, which seemed to be failing her more and more recently. How embarassing of her to introduce herself twice! 'Err-yeah, now I remember you. I'm sorry.' she said, sheepishly. ' It's going ok, I guess, but I have a hard time keeping up with all the homework. I think I signed up for too many classes.' Ariadne sighed.' How's your year going?' she asked, in turn.

Ariadne sighed.'How's your year going?' she asked, in turn. Jordan thought about Lord Borr, although he didn't really care for him, he never really met the guy. "Yeah, I suppose he should choose one. We haven't learned much in Defense Against the Dark Arts all year." Jordan replied to Ari then remembering the train, before school began
"Oh that's alright, I've got quite a bad memory as well." Jordan said while truly having an awful memory.
"I'm good actually. I only signed up for a couple classes, just to keep myself from overloading. Only bad thing is, their almost done." Jordan said and then thinking about his subjects that he's kept up with, Potions and Defense Against The Dark Arts. DADA felt too easy for Jordan, as if he could do anything he want and get away with it. Potions was really fun, especially when he was polyjuiced.

She snorted, rolling her eyes. "No." she said, avoiding her eyes and looking down at the devil-cat instead as her stomach twisted with the lie. The pace of Maleficent's tail increased as Hemo brought her blue eyes down to her again. She hadn't blinked once. Thea turned away from the girl, and once again stared into the dancing flames. Worried about her? Huh. That was hilarious. 'Why would you be worried about a complete stranger?..' She asked, still staring into the fire. 'You don't even know me..' She added quietly, rubbing her eyes with her fists. Snorting, she turned to face Hemo. She was pale. Well.. paler than Thea. She seemed to be taller and a tad skinnier. A nice person. Thea eyeballed her with her stoney eyes. Thea saw the worry. Eyebrows still raised, her lip began to curl slightly. She honestly did not know what to say to this girl. She reminded her of Nika.. but Nika was much less annoying even though she was so bouncy and kind. 'When did you get here, anyway?' Thea asked her curiously.
The first year had seen the hurt in Hemo's eyes as she'd answered the question. Ignoring it, she turned away again. |

The first year had seen the hurt in Hemo's eyes as she'd answered the question. Ignoring it, she turned away again. Hemo wrinkled her nose incredulously, idly playing with her the fraying laces of her converse as she averted her stare. "If you saw someone sad, wouldn't you be worried about them too?" she said quietly, shrugging and following the other Gryffindor's gaze to glare at the fire. She appreciated its warmth, a welcome contrast to the atmosphere that seemed to hang thick and cold between them, only intensifying with every word spoke. The blonde was frustrated, that much was true. She pressed her tongue to the side of her cheek and scowled. "Not that you would worry." she muttered with a slight roll of her eyes. She doubted if the roles had been reversed that Thea would come over and question her. "A few days ago." she said, readjusting her position so she was now sitting cross-legged. "Mum dropped me off." |

It depended on who the person was if she would ask them or not. 'How come you've arrived so late, it's nearly the end of the year..' And back home to her brilliant dad! Pah. Hopefully he wouldn't be there. Then things would be normal. Thea rolled her eyes right back at her, snorting quietly. She rubbed her legs slightly, trying to get the numbness to go away. Passing her hand over her hair, she let it travel down to play with her pony tail. |

Passing her hand over her hair, she let it travel down to play with her pony tail. "I suppose I just have problems when knowing whether to worry or not." she said slowly, suddenly wondering if maybe she had been over-stepping before, when she'd first asked what'd been troubling the girl. The lines blurred then and it unsettled her. She liked to be certain within herself, and the revelation that maybe her judgement had been wrong before was disconcerting. She played with her hands, returning them to her lap as she sucked in a breath. "Sorry," she said after a short pause, the pinkish tinge returning to her cheeks. "...for being all "up in your face." She cocked her eyebrows slightly, "But you are kinda rude." she stated, not spitefully, just as if she was laying down a fact which, technically, she sorta was.
She puffed out her cheeks and wrinkled her nose as she thought about how best to approach explaining her current situation. Unlike Thea, she had no problem with revealing things that were perhaps a little personal to complete strangers. "I was ill for a while," she started, that small smile gracing her lips again. "It meant I couldn't go to school until now." She shrugged, letting her eyes fall closed for a moment as a bolt of exhaustion shot through her. "But better late than never, right?" she said, her smile growing as her eyelids fluttered back open. |
