It all came bursting out, Thea's cheeks became flushed, and she swept a hand over her hair. Licking her lips she scowled. 'Heard of personal space?' Wrinkling her nose, she moved along the sofa.

Looking away, she watched the bright fire again. All she could hear at that moment was the crackling of the merry flames. Crashing back down to reality, she looked to see if this Hemo was still there. Impressed with the tone of voice she had used, Thea guessed she was eventually getting thorugh.
"Personal space and me don't really mix." she said airily, blue eyes narrowed as she bounded forward again, shamelessly following Thea as she edged backwards along the sofa. She stopped, mere feet away, arms clasped across her chest as she stared down at her, head still cocked to the side slightly, not unlike a puppy dog. "What's with me?" she asked incredulously, frowning. This girl was off her nut. "No one's with me." She quickly looked left and right, hastily double-checking to see if Rose or some other Gryffindor had turned up at her side without her realizing.

Satisfied and rubbing her thumb absently against the ball of her elbow, she stuck out her jaw, defiant, taking another step forward and closing the last of the remaining space between them. Fueled by a combination of frustration at the girl and the sudden need to perhaps have a little fun, she blocked Thea's view of the fire - which she seemed uncannily intent on staring at - with her body. "You." she said, wrinkling her nose and bending at the hip so they were now eye to eye. "You're odd. And grumpy. And, if you don't mind me saying, a bit..." She frowned, trying to think of the right words. "...well, totally mean." She smirked, and reached out a finger to boop her nose. "Just chill, T. Let loose." And with that, she turned on her feet, tassles flying, before she collapsed into the space beside the Gryffindor, pressed fairly closely to the side of Thea's slightly-smaller-than-her figure.

Personal space and Hemo didn't really mix, after all.
