Nika skipped into the common room and looked around at her fellow Gryffies. "Hello Gryffies!" She said to no one in particular. Hopefully someone would reply to her so she didn't look too stupid.

"Yeah, there's this one song that's like super easy called 'Soon I Will Be Done With the Troubles of the World, and for some reason it's my favorite." Too bad Cove didn't have the music with her. "What about composer?"

"Oh cool, I wish I was a first year here, I think it would be so much fun to be eleven and be in this giant castle." Cove said dreamily.

"Yeah, well you gotta do what you gotta do, right?" Cove asked. "Okay!"

After an exhausting day of working out for DADA, Jordan headed back to the common room to chill-lax until his next class began or until the day was over. "Oddsbokins." Jordan said to the fat lady, entering the Gryffindor Common Room. He noticed a chair that was empty with nobody sitting at the table. He grabbed that chair in a heartbeat and waited for any fellow Gryffindor's he knew came by.

"Whatta day, whatta day." Jordan moaned sounding tired as if he just ran a marathon.

Ronnie walked to the Fat Lady, almost forgetting the password...again. "Odds...odss...oddsbodikins..." she said. "Got it this time!" she said to herself as the portrait swung open. Shewalked inside, looking for her new friend, Jordan. She saw him at a table, and walked up to him and sat in a chair next to him. "Hi Jordan!" she said happily. "How was your day?" she asked.

'Whassup?' Rose said as she watched Jordan flop into a chair

" Your grandmother is right "William agreed with Rose." I would behurt if you did not hang out with me" William said to Rose. " We are goodfriends" William explained to Rose.

" Bye" William smiled. " Miss Pirate" William called out to Ronnie.

" Yes, I guess I would have to do what I had to do if there is a sickness in my family" Qilliam told Cove." Ok, I will be there, too" Wiliam said to Cove. " Now where is my violin concerto?" William asked Cove.

Rex was a really nice guy and he was sort of popular around, not to mention he seemed to be the studious type. She was also eager to know that William was related to Rex; maybe she can ask William a favor to tell Rex she kept her promise to be more conifdent and that she made new friends?

Then William asked Heather for a copy of the homework in DADA. She nodded accordingly, glad that William would be doing his tasks. She handed him an extra copy of the tasks she had in her pockets. "Here." she said, smiling at the young boy.



"I'm sure we will." Heather added confidently when the boy took the paper. "I hope so."

Oh that's easy. Actually, she had too many. "Uhm...well, i fancy the classics..." Heather sort of squirmed, trying to remember the names of the familair composers of the songs she usually plays. "Like...Beethoven....Mozart...but i also like the modern ones...." Yeah, like playing sweet child of mine on the violin that was considered rock violin music.

"how about you?" she asked politely of Cove.

She nodded her head. "Yep. I was." she said.

Heather blushed at Selina's comments about her birthday being on Halloween as 'cool'. It did seem so. In a muggle sense, one could dress up and go about being given candy on Halloween. As a child of a pureblood and a muggleborn, it made sense that she did go trick or treating on her birthdays usually, before she had gone to Hogwarts. (which involved her cheeks getting pinched by women and men patting her head and teenage girls running to hug or cuddle her before she got her candy bars, lollipops and peppermints.)

Her gifts usually would consist of candies as well, and a trip to the dentist three days after. It was really cool, for the fact one could get loads of sweets, but the part Heather hated most about Halloween is that in muggle's customs, Halloween is an event where people get themselves scared over something like ghosts and zombies and monsters. Not that she was afraid of ghosts, she just hated the idea because it also scares her at some point.

"T-thanks so much, Selina." she said. "H-how about y-you? Uhm...I-I'd like to know about y-you as well..." She just really felt, as she looked at Selina that the girl was very interesting, and she would like to know more about Selina, so they could get acquainted and be friends.

After all, friends know each other well, right?

Ronnie smiled at the word "Miss Pirate" as she walked up the girl's dormitories stairs.

'Well, I'm glad you think that!' Rose grinned 'If you want to hang out at a time just tell me! Hey, I'm gonna do my song thing for the DADA assignment now!' Rose laughed

'That song is stuck in my head!' Rose grinned

What was interesting about her? Well Selina never really found herself all that interesting minus one thing, but she did not every advertize that fact. It was her deepest secret that only four people on this earth knew about and her parents were not included in that number. Kurumi knew and she was the only one in Gryffindor that she would ever tell, it was not something Selina was proud of, in fact she was afraid of it.

"Me? Well I play Quidditch, Chaser. I was on the team last year as the only first year so we will see how it goes this year when Simon posts the list. I'm trilingual. I speak Hebrew, Latin, and English. I'm awful at Potions and I'm an only child." Again another awkward topic. Selina always hated to bring up her father because he was the most famous Chaser in the League playing for the Fowlmouth Falcons. Everyone knew his name and she wanted to be Selina Skylar, not Jake Skylar's kid.

"What else? Um I have an owl named Hermes and a Pygymy Puff named Owen. I have a huge sweet tooth and some would say I have a... slight temper. Nothing major." No nothing major at all. Her temper was horrible

" You are a good student" William told Heather. " I will follow you and Rex in being a really good student" William said to Heeather. "Can we do the taks together?" William asked Heather.

William smiled back at Ronnie.

" All the time we should hang out" William told Rose. "All except bedtime" William laughed." A very good song, but did you have to know it or write it yoruself?" William asked Rose.

'Yeah, I knew it!' Rose grinned 'Yeah, we probs shouldn't hang out at bedtime! What will the people think!' Rose laughed 'Meh, ignore me!'

" Good, we will have a lot of fun hanging out" Willaim told Rose. William is starting to like Rose more than a friend. William is confused, he is with Wisteria." People would think that we are bad and we would be kicked out of HogWarts" William explained to Rose." Now tell me about that song" Wiliam smiled.

'I agree! We will have fun!' Rose grinned. 'Hey, you know I probably hang out with you more than anyone else!' Rose said thoughtfully 'Well, I know the song is in an advert about the AA... Oh you wouldn't know about that, it's a muggle advert!' Rose felt happy when talking to William... He seemed to get her!

" Agreeing is cool" William told Rose. " I think I am the lucky one if you hang out with me more than anyone else" William explained to Rose. "Would you twirl your hair for me, please?" William asked Rose."Actually, I am a half-blood, but I just could not remeber that song" William explained to Rose.

'Umm... OK?' Rose giggled as she twirled her hair... 'May I ask why?'
'Oh, I'm a muggle born. My parents were starting to get angry with me for doing things like, making pens float when I was bored! Then they found out I was a witch, and they were like, 'Oh, that explains it!' Rose laughed

" I love it when girls twirl their hair, I am a real sucker for it" Willaim told Rose. "Especially a pretty girl like you" William smiled." Muggleborn who is awitch, awesome" William said to Rose." My mom is pureblood, but she is part Veela" William explained to Rose.

Ronnie just got to the edge of the stairs when she saw William smile. She giggled and walked up to the girls dormitories and flopped onto her bed.

Johnathan entered the room, holding a book he was "suppose to read" but has never even read the first sentence. He sat on an empty couch and stared at the book the set it aside.

Maybe, later... he thought to himself, and sighed.

Different timelines. :)
 

Zara smirked. Alright, Nika's back in the house. "NIKAAAAAA!" She shouted and waved. Okay now they both seemed a bit silly. Scratch that. They looked VERY silly..and childish. Hahah. Oh who careees? Why go through life unnoticed?

"You really think so?" she asked. Zara never thought of it that way. Then again, Cove was right. "I guess you're right. Soo, care to teach me any Muggle songs?" She randomly said, yeah, being in Hogwarts she needed to learn some songs since she needed it for the DADA Homework. The only song she knew was Beauty and the Beast and it sounded a bit funny to sing it now. It was years ago when it was made. Maybe some new songs wouldn't hurt.

Looking at her left, Zara watched as an older lion came and sat down at the empty couch. He was holding a book, ooh. But then he put it away. Maybe he wasn't in the mood for reading? Zara watched curiously as to what this guy was doing. He wasn't speaking to anyone. Was he new? Pouting a bit, she stood up from her seat and sat beside him, hoping he didn't mind.

After a few moments of just sitting there and staring at the fireplace, she faced the guy and greeted him, "Hi," with a smile. Zara really wasn't the type to be randomly introducing herself to older students. Especially if they were guys. But this one may just be different.

John smiled as he noticed that the girl spoke to him. She seemed somewhat shy?

"hey there? I'm Johnathan but call me John. Uhm what's your name?" John in his deep voice, as he rolled up his sleeves showing off the silloutte of his muscles.

Zara nodded. John. Okay. "I'm Zara," she smiled. "Danielle Zara Griffiths." She said as she turned back her attention to the fire. Zara was completely oblivious to the fact that the guy beside her--I mean, John--had rolled up his sleeves.

"beautiful name Dani. *clears throat* I mean Danielle" John said with a smile, as he wiggled his eyebrows and chuckled.

"so how's Hogwarts for you, so far?" he said trying to start a conversation.

John was really open to starting conversations, with girls. He wasn't all that shy.

Nika heard a voice calling her name and her face instantly "glowed happiness" if that's even possible. She would have just walked over to her fellow Gryffindor, but eh shouting is more fun. "ZARAAAAAA!"

She walked over to her friend and smiled. "So what's going on Zara?"

Zara smiled. Well, she wanted to tell him her name was Zara. But..oh well. It was fine.

"Hogwarts is...I really can't find the right word." She smiled. She's probably used up every possible word there is for that question. A lot of people had asked her the same thing. Sometimes she'd say fine, great, fantastic, fun, and a whole lot.

"How about you? Are you a transfer student?" Zara wondered. Really though, why wasn't he with anyone right now? Or maybe the guy was just tired. Or his friends were from another house.

Zara grinned, really, she loved this girls' enthusiasm. Heheh. "Oh nothing much really. Just hanging around. And being very annoyed by the DADA homework. They don't expect us to this every week don't they?" Right. Here was Zara again complaining about the homework.
