Ella giggled as all the sweets fell to the floor. Slowly, she extended her hand out and grabbed a sugar quill. Her bracelets jangling merrily, she brought it to her mouth and sucked on it.

Nom. This Prefect seemed okay..

Well...now this younger girl was like the first one to ever ask him that question. While mostly, no all the time, he introduced himself as Joshua, people preferred ot call him Josh. Only Mia called him Joshua from time to time and sometimes did some other people when they got angry at him. Not that he cared about it though, both forms of the name was okay with him.

''It doesn't matter'' so he replied with a big smile at the girl. ''Choose whichever you prefer. Both are fine with me. They are almost the same anyway, aren't they? One just lacks two little letters. Not a big deal.''

Ah? He could lose the first points of the next term? Could he? BAHAHAHAHAHHA! ''Well...who knows what life might bring us, mate. Maybe some other people will pop up and beat me to it the next term as well. I seem to lose some of my admirable performance lately, after all.'' Just like no points were taken from him when he had visited the staff table and Lafay did not burn the rose he gave her this time. At least this could be taken as a good sign or the staff just pitied him because of the new scar on his face. Who knew?

When Legend spoke again, Josh snapped out of those kinda deep thoughts and looked back at him. Wisest? A motivational speaker? Hehehehe. Raising a playful eyebrow at his housemate Josh laughed some before taking a rather dramatical breath to reply. ''Thank you, man. I am very honoured by your words. But alas! Wisest? Did not that sound like you were talking to a Ravenclaw? Ewwwwwwwwww...!''

Hahahaha...

And of course he was kidding because he knew Ravenclaws actually were nothing close to wise as they were said to be. He had many proof for that in his hands.

''No, not at all.'' Josh said quickly shaking his head. Well...actually he was forced to stay in a flat by Ryan but it did not really count since it had for a pretty short time and he had managed to escape. However that was something neither he wanted to remember not he wanted to talk about for it was kinda bloody which ruined his favourite shirt and Evelyn got mad at him when she saw the wound. Eeeeeeh... Hehehehe.

At this point, the boy could say that this younger lioness was pretty right to have difficulty with believing what he had said since the word 'ordinary' and the name 'Joshua Carter' did not fit each other well. Yet, it was obvious from Lafay's words, expression and plea for him not to return there when he had told her the incident. So, he was not going to mention it to anyone else. Especially not Kurumi who was too innocent and lovable to get her mind poisoned with such stuff. ''Yes, ordinary. You know stuff like spending time with friends and what not. Stuff like that.''


''Nice to meet you too, Ari.'' the lion boy said with that usual warm smile of his glued on his face. ''Ari, ha? That sounds...cute. Hehe. And both Joshua and Josh are okay with me, which ever you prefer. I don't mind.'' Yea, just like he did not mind much stuff. Bahahah. Listening to the girl mentioning her favourite places within the grounds, Josh nodded contently as they were his favourites as well. And going for a swim in the lake? Noooow that was among the best thing one could do in the grounds if one happened to ask this boy. ''I do always go and swim there after my daily exercises.'' he said nodding once more ''The water is...nice these days. But i have to admit that it gets colder and colder then extremely cold during winter time. I like to swim almost all the time though, except those snowy days for certain reasons.''

Then...whaaaa? Had he done anything crazy during his years here? Hehehe. Now this question not only did make the boy laugh but also it totally proved that this girl was a firstie, adorable firstie, for Joshua Carter was pretty well known throughout this school for his many...antics and the great amount of detention he had lived through so far. ''Yeah, i did, i guess. Since people called me crazy for them'' he said cheerfully yet where could he begin with? Which one to mention first? Perhaps the day that he had yelled that love poem for Evelyn in the middle of one of Lafay's classes. Buuut there were other ones too. Hmmm. ''Well...now. If only you asked whether i did anything ordinary. That way it would be easier to answer it''

''You areeeeeeeee welcome...Tayla!'' the seventeen year old exclaimed cheerfully. He was kinda tired because he was back from one of those his crazy exercises and alas! That reminded him that he had forgotten to take a shower!! Oooh...anyway no worries. He could always do it before going to sleep. Anyhow...his being tired was not an obstacle for him to be as cheerful as usual. He could still ROCK this place. Heh.

''A nice name? Seriously?'' then he said raising an eyebrow at the girl and smiling warmly afterwards ''I have never thought of it that wat. Y'know. Tis just...a name. And no...i don't have any siblings. Well...i do but she is too young to be a student yet.''

Heehheheh.

"Oddsbodikins!" Ronnie said a smile on her face. "What's gotten you so happy? You've seemed very down latley." the Fat Lady said. "I lost my rat, but found him now! He was hiding because of a cat that likes to chase him." Ronnie replied, a grin on her face. "Ok, come on in." the Fat Lady said as she swung open.

Ronnine walked into the common room, Scabbers well hidden in her bag. As she looked around, she noticed a fellow first year she had been wanting to make friends with. She walked up to Jordan Sylvester Kobe. She walked up to him and said, "Hi, I'm Ronnie Weasley. What's your name?"

" Thanks, but I just want help a really close friend" Wiliam told Witsy. I like the clapping of our hands together" William smiled. Thanks, very nice, but Magical Creatures would be a miracle for me to be my expertise" William laughed. " The classes I like will be Muggle Studies and Magic"" William explained to Witsy. " Ancient Runes is good right now" William smiled.
" Where would you like to meet for our private talk?" William asked Witsy.

" Yes, I guess there is no waves in the lake" William told Cove. " Let me see, I have" I have five sisters and two brothers" William said to Cove." I would enjoy California as I have never been out of Italy or Scotland" William explained to Cove. " Thanks for bringing the books to me" William smiled. "Would you come to our Italian Villa?" William asked Cove.

Turning around to a familiar face. "Hi Ronnie. My name is Jordan. How are you?"

"Sorry" she threw her hand over her face, "Ancient Runes isn't bad. I'm liking Potions way more, though. More now than even last year, seeing as I failed to get on good terms with the professor."

Witsy was tapping her knee as if she just got out of choir and had a song stuck in her head..."The Pathways, the lake, the quidditch pitch..." she thought she was being funny on the last part, but in an odd sort of way it actually could work it's so loud out there you could plan a murder case and people would be clueless. "You chose, I just want to be with you."

Selina silently thanked Merlin that Christopher had decided to drop the subject. Although he had put up quite the fuss as his relinquishment of prying he was done asking her now. Maybe one day she would tell him, maybe one day she would tell her mother, maybe one day she would tell her father. But she was not even comfortable enough in her own skin to accept the fact that she was a freak. How could she tell her parents let alone Chris.

"I am sorry. Just not now. It's not a topic of discussion I want to publicize." She grabbed for his hand and squeezed it, "It has nothing to do with you Chris. You are a great friend. And I will tell you one day, but that day is not today."

Sophie was about to regain her footing when she felt someone grab onto her from behind. With the extra help the lioness prefect regained her footing. Turning to look at the girl who was holding onto her the Gryffindor prefect smiled "Hi, thank you for acting so quickly. I'm Sophie by the way and you are?" Snatching a candy cane from the rain she offered it to the younger girl beaming "Feel free to help yourself to the raining candy...How do you like it here so far?" It was a good opportunity to check the mood amongst her house mates.

Sophie was just talking to the first year when a blond boy out of nowhere came up and impulesivly hugged her exclaiming that she was the best prefect ever. Coming to from the slight shock of being hugged just like that Sophie said to the boy with a small smirk. "Yes, I kinda had something to do with the candy rain, but it wasn't planned. I'm glad you love it though! Maybe we should have candy rains more often?" Her loosing her footing for knocking into the head of the lion rug on the floor hadn't been planned. The lioness had totally forgotten about the new rugs on the floor.

Guessing that it was in place for some introductions she smiled at the boy who was now standing on an armchair to catch candy. "I'm Sophie, Gryffie prefect as you already guessed and you are?"

Hearing a giggle coming from somewhere nearby Sophie glanced around her eyes stopping on another first year girl with lots of bracelets on her arms. Shooting the younger girl a smile the prefect called over "Do you like the candy rain? Your bracelets are pretty." The lioness looked up at the bowl again wondering if it would keep itself glued up there or if it would eventually drop down to the ground to cause mayhem to break out.

" Do not be sorry eapially to me" William told Witsy. " I can see why you like Potions this year' William laughed. " The Pathways is cool for both of us" William tried to sing along with Witsy. " I like being with you, too" Willaim said to Witsy..

Witsy shook her head, "thanks," she said sarcastically. "The pathways are good." She started smiling at a thought she had, "Okay I know we just started classes and all but now I'm counting the days until we have break. I really want to go into hogsmead, you?" She looked to him quizzically," you've been there no?" She thought about all the fun stuff there and the trails. "I'm looking to buy this game my father's mentioned... sounds cool. When you play you literally become the piece" she tried to remember the rest, but it had been a long time. "Something about a war and escaping," the last part sounded more like a question.

Alice gave William a gentle shrug of the shoulders. A lot of new professors did seem to be streaming in and out of Hogwarts at a rather quick rate these days. "Muggles studies is always an interesting subject! Even though I grew up in a muggle home, I still find that class gives a lot of interesting information...plus it's always amusing to see how differently witches and wizards view muggles," Alice said with a little chuckle.

"Tennis does require quite a bit of practice, but it's a lot of fun," Alice said with a smile, remembering how some people she knew caught onto the sport rather quickly, but others not so much. "So you're a keeper huh? That's an exciting position! That is the one that tries to get the quaffle through the hoops, right?" Alice remembered learning a little about Quidditch, but given that her first year was filled with the Triwizard tournament, and her second year her not being around much, she had never really gotten a chance to watch it.

Alice's eyes had gone up slightly in surprise at Nika's enthusiasm over taking Divination. She too had enjoyed her class, but even with her favorite subject she didn't show that much outwards enthusiasm. Opening her mouth to respond, Alice found the thought escaping her mind and her mouth falling open slightly as the bowl of candy their Prefect Sophie began to shake slightly. Leaning back in her seat Alice watched the bowl nervously, jumping slightly as candy began to rain from the bowl, several pieces smacking her on the top of her head.

Grabbing one that had fallen in her lap, Alice tossed it to Nika. "Sorry about that...I was a little concerned about the bowl but it seems to be alright," Alice said apologetically for taking so long to respond. Despite being reassured she still glanced back at the bowl every now and then to make sure it didn't come crashing down.

"I love Herbology, but Care of Magical Creatures and Charms are also great classes. I haven't met the new Care of Magical Creatures professor yet, but I did love Professor Saylen last year!"

" Why did you say thanks to me in a sarcastic tone?" William asked Witsy with a real puzzled look. " Oh yes, I would love to go to Diagon Alley with you" William told Witsy." I would love to play the game, it sounds exciting" William explained to Witsy. "So to the Psthways?" William asked Witsy.

" I can't wait for Muggle studies since it sounds like it will be fun" William told Alice. " You always need to practice sports" William said to Alice. " The Keeper does put the Quaffle through the hoops as well as stopping the other team form doin g the same thing" William explained to Alice.
Rex told me to ask you two questions" William smiled. Rex watched the Tri- Wizard Tournament for a little while and he wants to know if you had fun and did you win the Tri-Wizard Tournament?" William asked Alice both questions.

Alice nodded in agreement at needing to practice sports. Rex had questions for her? Interesting..."I did have a lot of fun at the Triwizard Tournament! It was a little nerve racking since most of the time we couldn't see what the competitors were facing, but it was still very exciting. Plus it was cool to meet all the different people from the other magical schools." Alice didn't keep in contact with any of the people she had met but she still thought it was a neat experiencing getting to learn about magic schools in other places.

Alice couldn't help but laugh out loud as William asked her if she competed in the tournament. "It was my first year, so needless to say I did not compete in the tournament. Even if I had been old enough I don't think I would have entered...little too dangerous for me!"

"Cool, cuz I think it needs at least 6 people." She sat up checking to make sure she still had her bag. She opened it and search inside, "I just wanna make sure I have my camera, I'm think about actually doing something for the school this term, I don't know what yet." She hit a sharp object and flinched. She pulled out her camera which had blood smears on it, "What the... I don't even know what I hit." She put the camera back inside her bad, but left it on top this time for easy access. "Pathways sounds great."

She got up and waited for William. She didn't feel right, but couldn't explain it. Perhaps a nice walk, though, would fix that up. "Ready?" She kept poking him in the shoulder trying to be all cute and smiled as if a puppy just met his new owner.

" Good that you had fun watching the tournament" Willaim told Alice."Actually, Rex found a lot of those students from the other schools very rude" William said to Alice. " He tried to talk to a lot of them and they just plain ignored him " William explained to Alice. " I bet you would have been a great chocie and done well in the tournament" William smiled.
" Well, you and I should be able to find four more friends to join us" William told Witsy. " Good, a camera is a really good thing to have at HgoWarts" William said to Witsy." I am ready for the Pathways and you" William smiled.

"Yuppers!" she made her way to the portrait. "I don't know what I would do without my camera, "Rex once told me I looked like a professional, sometimes I wish I was there are some features here, I don't quite understand yet."

"Oh, I gotcha," Lucas said. "Even stuff you might normally like doing sucks when someone is making you do it."

" Good. we are on our way" William told Witsy. " I know that Rex never lies, ao you are a professonal" Wiliam said to Witsy. " Well, we can both figure out the extra features" William explained to Witsy.

Rex too was very funny. She made her way out, "We'll see, won't we."
she felt really bubbly today.

" We will definetely see for sure" Willaim told Witsy. " I beleive in you, too" Willaim said to Witsy.

Didn't say anything? That was strange, very strange. Maybe this was something planned by the Ministry. Could it be? After all, their professors are from the Ministry, well most of the new ones. "That's strange. Weird." She said, frowning as she thought of what might have happened to the professor.

"Oh, yeah. I've also seen first years act very strange. They probably just wanted to fit in--but well, being very much like that surely isn't the way to do so." She smiled. She liked Kurumi, who was now her favorite Gryffie Third Year.

"So you wanna go take a trip to the Room of Requirement? I'm not really sure how. And my mum's birthday is soon, wouldn't want to send her a composition that sounds really awful." She took a carefully-rolled parchment out of her bag. Zara grinned, "Here's my composition. Made a while ago during free time. Though I'm not really sure, I just thought of it and wrote it down. I can imagine the tune, but not that exact. I would like to go ahead and test it."

Zara tilted her head to the side. "Okaay. I guess Josh is good, it's short, easy to remember." She said and smiled.

"So Josh, uhm.." She was thinking of something to say to him. "Have you ever gone to the Room of Requirement?" Yeah, that was the question. Zara'd been trying to find it since the first day in search of a piano. They didn't teach Music at Hogwarts, do they?

Zara looked around the common room and decided she needed to meet new people. She's been with the same people, talking and hanging out with the same ones. Maybe she needed to go out of her box and begin exploring the real world. "Hi, I'm Zara. Danielle Zara Griffiths." She smiled at a girl near her.

Zara's ears were instantly caught by the sound of "Watch out!" She jumped from her seat and turned around to see what was happening. It was the lioness prefect. Watch out for a bowl that would fall down. Zara was in deep thought for a quick moment. A bowl can only fall down IF it's on a table, or up in the sky threatening to hit your head. She took a glimpse at the table and saw no bowl, just a jar of cookies. Looking up at the ceiling, Zara's eyes saw what the prefect meant. It was on the ceiling!

Her eyes widened in shock. But she saw the candies and her attention was instantly averted from the bowl itself to the candies falling from it. It was raining! Raining candies! 'I love the lioness prefect!' She squealed in her mind as she grinned a wide grin and told the prefect, "Thank you! You're so kind!" And began to enjoy the falling candies. Then she got some candies, they sure looked yummy. Opening one of them and munching on it, she smiled once again. "Thanks again." She told the prefect, and she looked up. The bowl was threatening to fall, but it just doesn't.

She grasped the camera in both her hands, she looked at William with a smile and cunning eyes and before her could look away flash she started to laugh, "Yup, I definitely think I'm a pro!" she laughed even harder.

"Yeah, kind of hard to surf without them." Cove joked. "Five sisters and only two brothers? Wow, I have four sisters and five brothers." Cove said. "You should cone to my house sometime. It will be fun." Cove smiled. "Yeah no problem. I don't need them." she said. "Yeah, I've never been to Italy. I've been almost everywhere but not italy." cove said. Italian villa? Awesomeness.

Christopher nodded. "Whenever you're ready."

He noticed that earlier she was saying a silent thanks. This triggered a thought in Christopher's mind, and he remembered something he'd heard many students say before that he'd never quite understood it before. "Selina, why do people say 'Thank Merlin' or 'Oh my Merlin?' He isn't God." That always confused the lion to extremes.

"CeCe Madera..." Septimus thought long and hard. "I can't help but think I've heard that name before. I just can't think where."
