Selina silently thanked Merlin that Christopher had decided to drop the subject. Although he had put up quite the fuss as his relinquishment of prying he was done asking her now. "I am sorry. Just not now. It's not a topic of discussion I want to publicize." She grabbed for his hand and squeezed it, "It has nothing to do with you Chris. You are a great friend. And I will tell you one day, but that day is not today."
Christopher nodded.
"Whenever you're ready."
He noticed that earlier she was saying a silent thanks. This triggered a thought in Christopher's mind, and he remembered something he'd heard many students say before that he'd never quite understood it before.
"Selina, why do people say 'Thank Merlin' or 'Oh my Merlin?' He isn't God." That always confused the lion to extremes.
