"Definitely!" She nodded to confirm. "I'm sure some other people would like to join in too! I know that Hogwarts has a lot of musicians." Nika smiled cheerfully. "So how long have you been playing?"

Nika twirled a strand of hair around her finger, such a horrible habit. "Really!?!" Nika said as she bounced in excitement. "I want to learn how to play the guitar. It's my goal. That and to get a chocolate card frog that isn't Godric Gryffindor because I get him every time!" Even though Emily offered a spare Hufflepuff one Nika couldn't take it. She wants to get it on her owl.

"Well I love to sing and play football!" Nika nodded her head excitedly. "It's my favorite sport!" Maybe if she was able to fly Quidditch could be a favorite, but since that's out of the question...

Amber walked to the portrait of the Fat Lady. "Oddsbodikins!" she said, and the portrait swun open. Amber walked inside, her bag of books slinging over her shoulder, her rat Scabbers in her pocket. She sat down in a comfy chair near the fireplace, and began to read a book on Quidditch, she needed to know all she knew about it for when in her second year she would try out. She loved Quidditch, and couldn't wait to play. Scabbers sat on her shoulder, sleeping as the night went on. The common room suddenly became very quiet and empty, and Amber noticed what time it was. "Twelve o clock?! Come on Scabbers, it's about time for bed." she said with a yawn, heading up the girls dormitories.

"It's hetic, but fun. Yeah they know, they think it's pretty cool and none of them are like jelous of it." Cove explained. "Oh, God no. John, my best friend in Hufflepuff, went with me. I mean he had to go too, but our parents trussted us to go by ourselves. We've traveled all ove the world for surf competions by ourselves, so they we're pretty relaxed about it." Cove said. "Do you have any siblings?"

John chuckled, and winked at her "well maybe i'll teach you how to play the guitar sometime" he said as he wiggled his eyebrows and giggled.

"well you seem like a fun and active, chick" he said with a smile

"She- She- What?!" Christopher was taken aback by this sudden news. He had a lot of trouble grasping on to what she was saying. "Like a friend, right? Wait, do all girls talk about this stuff!?" He knew they either had telepathic powers, or had some underground network of secrets. Girls were so weird. If things didn't work out with Vi, which he prayed they would, he would swear off girls forever. Well, atleast until he was old enough to understand them.

The thirteen year old sighed and nodded. For being so young, Selina was really wise. He listened intently, taking in her every word hungrily. She probably knew Violet best. They were pratically sisters, and they were girls. Girls had super mind powers. He swore up and down they did. "Okay... I will. We're hanging out at our spot by the lake tomorrow after our lessons. Maybe then I'll find out whether she likes him or not." He knew she did, though. It wasn't hard to tell. He wasn't so sure how he wasn't different. Didn't all guys treat girls like he did? Didn't they all have class and chivalry? He knew a majority of the Muggles at home didn't, but he was sure people here in the Wizarding World were much better and understood. People were confusing in general. This was exactly why Christopher liked to be alone more often. He never fit in that well anyway.

Legend's head whipped up as someone replied to him. It was a younger girl, who he had seen before. Somewhere....well obviously in the Common Room since she was a Gryffindor but somewhere else as well.

QUIDDITCH. Yeah. That made sense.

"Hey Skylar." He said happily. Legend was used to calling Quidditch members by their last names. "Hows it going? How was your summer?" He jumped up from the chair so he was actually able to see her.

Legend chuckled at the other girl who addressed him. He had seen her around too but he didn't know her name. "Name's Legend Chosen, be smart of you to remember it." He winked, conceited as always. "How are you, Gryffindor who I do not know?"

This girl. Had he seen this girl? Legend wasn't sure. THERE WERE SO MANY GIRLS IN GRYFFINDOR. It was hard to remember. He did however notice her small jump at his loud voice. "Sorry to startle you."

Selina snuggled deeply into her chair as he fumbled and bumbled through his revelation of Cass' crush, "Yes." Selina said shortly, "And also more. She likes you more than a friend and as a friend. And yes... girls do talk about this kind of thing. But we also have keen senses. I can tell she likes you and I've also heard from a lot of people she likes you. And you know... somewhere deep down... that she likes you. And what scares you is you don't know how you feel about that. I'll I'm saying is be good to Violet. She's your girlfriend."

Then he mentioned his spot by the lake with Violet. Selina smiled and continued, "Good. You need to talk about this with her."

She paused and continued, "Look Chris, I'm your friend and Violet's but your relationship is your own. I'll always be here for advice and whatever you need. But only you know your relationship the best. No one else unless it is you and Violet is really justified to pass judgement. Including me."

Tayla smiled at the older boy. "It's fine," she said happily. "I'm liking the booming greetings of the Gryffindors. True lions I see." Tayla chuckled. "Oh, I'm Tayla by the way. Tayla Barnhill. First year."


"Yes, I have a little sister," Tayla replied fondly. She loved her sister. "Her name's April and she's four years old. It's a little sad that when she enters Hogwarts, I would already have graduated."

Christopher was still in shock about Cass. She'd never shown any hint of having a crush on him. He'd never have guessed it if Selina hadn't just revealed it. It did explain some things though, mainly why Levi hated him. It made sense really. But he was still confused about it, just as Selina had predicted. Dang. She was good. It just proved his theory about girls' mind powers. "I-I never knew... And you're pretty much right about, well everything." He was scared about this revelation. He really didn't know what he felt now, but he was sure it'd only end up in disaster and tears. But Violet was his girlfriend, and he'd never had conscience feelings about Cass. He really liked Violet. More than anything. She was his first girlfriend, his first kiss. She meant so much to him.

At this Christopher nodded. Again, she was wise. "I know. It's just.... your advice is so good! Like, you can read our thoughts, or see the future or something. It always turns out perfect when you help me. Without you, I'd have messed up so many times. Violet would've dumped me ages ago. Nobody knows her better than you. It's our relationship, but I really appreciate your help. I couldn't get on without it. Thank you, Selina." He patted the small ginger on the head, with an appreciative smile.

Nika jumped almost falling out of her chair. "Really?!" Nika was almost certain that she could feel her heart stop for a minute there. "You-you would do that?" Nika couldn't believe it. This guy that she had known for only a minute almost offered to teach her. Even though it was a "maybe" it was still exciting to think about.

"Well I guess you could say I'm pretty energetic." She responded trying to act cool. THis guy seems very laid back and Nika must match that now. "So you're into flying. Does that mean you like Quidditch?"

Nika giggled a bit at his reply. Funny guy, Legend. "Will try my best Sir!" she said as she saluted him. "This Gryffindor's name is Nika." she replied, "And she is feeling pretty awesome at the moment." Being back at Hogwarts she had to feel awesome! "How are you Mr. Legend Sir?" She chuckled keeping the little act up.

Selina had to contain her laughter at the stupid look on Chris' face. He had definitely not known about Cass via his face, but it still was funny to see. But she contained herself and did not burst out into laughter. Well a small giggle did escape but that was nothing.

When he praised her advice she nodded, "Yep... I'm right 99.9% of the time," Selina joked. Her joke did not hold though when he said that it was like she saw the future. She froze dead in her place, "T-the f-f-future? That's crazy. I mean people can't see the future. Even in the Wizarding World. I personally don't believe in Seers..." Lies, because she was one.

Selina was shocked when he responded to her. She turned around to check if their was anyone else named Skylar behind her, but there was none. She smiled at him and said, "You remember me?" Legend Chosen was somewhat of a, well, Legend at Hogwarts. The fact that he remembered her was amazing to Selina.

"Umm, yeah," she continued still shocked at his memory, "it was good. Played a lot of Quidditch for try outs. And yourself?"

"Oh, I'm the youngest. That's funny cause my birthday's in April." Cove said, giggling a bit. "Yeah, but at least you can warn her for what's gonna come."

"Yeah, I suppose so," Tayla replied. "I sent her a chocolate frog earlier today. Let my owl Marigold take it all the way to Canada, where we live. I hope Marigold's okay...Do you have an owl?"

John chuckled, and and crossed his arms, showing of his toned muscles

"I'll for sure teach you, how to play the guitar, it's quite easy" John said as he smiled.

"uhm...not exactly...I'm not really into anything related to magic. I just happend to be a wizard by the luck of my destiny. I'd rather be a muggle Pilot." John said as he had so much sincerity in his eyes, as he stared at the moving flames of the chiminey.

"do you like Quidditch?" John asked in his deep tone.

Janet saw a girl sitting on one of the armchairs and decided to greet her.
"Hi there ! I'm Janet ! What's your name ??" She asked her.

Walnut's eyes narrowed for a moment as he watched the cat wiggle around like a worm. Was this one of those cats that was forever in kitten phase? If so, Walnut didn't have time for chasing after string...

Attack people's ankles...I rather like this idea of yours, Walnut purred jumping off the table and waddling his kingly self over to one of the sofas where he proceeded to wedge himself under it when...he could wedge no more and still had his stubby back legs and tail sticking out.

This was SOOOO the other cat's fault!
"Girl Scouts of America," Kurumi whispered scratching the back of her head and trying not to look as confused as she really was on the inside. "I wonder what gave someone the idea to mix marshmallow, chocolate and...." she paused trying to remember what Lexi had said these not really a cookie but not really a cracker crackers were called. "...these together."

Frowning a bit, seeing as her marshmallow was now a black smoldering mass on the log in the fire, Kurumi looked back at Lexi and her eyes flicked between the girl's face and the bag of marshmallows.

"C-C-Can I have another marshmallow?" she squeaked. "I-I seem to have dropped my first attempt..."

Kurumi giggled a bit. "Breaking tradition can be a good thing at times." It was something that seriously needed to happen back home. "I know loads of great people in Ravenclaw, and I thought that I would be sorted there to be honest." Seeing as she was a bookworm and workaholic. "Sorting hat must have seen something unique in us both besides our love for studying," Kurumi giggled.

Kurumi didn't think much of Ariadne's lack of mentioning her father and assumed that that meant that he had not attended Hogwarts. After all, she would leave her mother out of the conversation considering she was a non-magical. "My father and two of my other brothers were also in Gryffindor. My other brother was in Ravenclaw though. Father was the one who broke the tradition in his family. Apparently, they were all Slytherins."

Which reminded her of some other research she needed to do in the library.

"As is Walnut," she laughed poking the cat lovingly in the side. "He considers himself King of the Common Room. Perhaps he will have to accept that he may become the co-ruler..." Either that, or there would be much fur flying and a mess to clean up later.

"That isn't a boring story," she said snaking her head. "I think it is fantastic that you and your siblings stayed home to help your family when it was needed. You all must be very close." She had to admit, she was a bit jealous, but her family had pulled through for each other when needed. She wasn't sure she could imagine all her brothers being willing to do the same. "N-No reason really. Well, unless you want to count my curiosity," she blushed. "Is that why you got into literature? To escape into a world that was less stressful?"


Kurumi recognized the newest addition to the common room for Diagon Alley. At least, she was pretty sure that she had seen him in the ice cream parlor the same day she had been there.

"H-H-Hello," she squeaked waving from her place by the fire. "W-W-Would you like to make a s'more? They are delicious!"

Oh yes...Kurumi had been RIGHT next to this boy when HE had crossed the line and lost Gryffindor house points before they had even tucked in to their first meal at Hogwarts.

Instinctively, she closed the lid on her box of cookies and set the box back on the table. No cookies for you...Legend Chosen.

"Evening," she said with a slightly cold tone hidden beneath her smile.

Kurumi's face dropped and she turned her head towards the fire and hunched her shoulders. "...yes..." she whispered as she swallowed the urge to cry. "I...I guess you know that he has left Hogwarts then?" She still couldn't bring herself to turn around and look back at the second year.
Kurumi giggled. She clearly had been spending too much time with the likes of Salander and Josh if she was going to use sarcasm like that. "I'm sorry," she said bowing her head.

"Well, as I said earlier, mother trained me in classical piano, and that is pretty much the only instrument that I can play besides the koto," she said shrugging her shoulders. "Oh, sorry. The koto is a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument. I haven't been playing it for very long though, just a few years upon mother's insisting. She want's me to learn the traditions of my home country."

Kurumi shook her head a bit. The more she was forced to learn about it, the more she wanted to get away.

"How about you?"

"Pleasure to meet you, Cove," Kurumi smiled. She sure hoped that she had said that properly. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry. Third year," she said bowing her head while extending her none skewer holding hand towards the girl for a handshake.

Happy wasn't exactly the word she would use to describe her feelings at the moment. Words like petrified and nauseous did however.

"T-T-Th-Thank you?" she said before getting a slightly panicked look on her face when Selina got one of those crazy looks on her face. Kurumi knew that the little red head was going to put her through the ringer several times over. Would probably even force her to practice flying and Quidditch in her sleep...if Kurumi was even allowed to sleep.

"Hmph. Fine," she grunted, putting her acting skills to the test. Then she placed both her hands in a somewhat X-like position in front of her, the type of position you'd be if you were a 4-year old kid who didn't get what she wanted, and pouted again. Then Zara stood up, looked at Matt and said, "Yeah, I'm sure I'll live it." And she began walking towards the portrait hole. Hahaha, this time no one'll ever guess if she was really mad or just faking an act. LIVE WITH IT.


"Sure. That'd be great!" Zara exclaimed opening her eyes. Then she grinned, "Now that you've mentioned it, I can hardly wait!"

" I thought you would know a lot" William told Alice. William shook her hand." Good. I like the idea of fun classes" Willaim said to Alice." My cousin Rex told me he liked Professor Hecate" Willaim explained to Alice.

" Sounds more like an orchestra" William told Cove." I knre you could play a lot of instruments" Willaim said to Cove. " I like certain sports, but I do not think those are hobbies" Willaim explained to Cove.
" Quidditich is a lot of fun: William told Ariella. " Actually, I am looking forward to Magic and Muggle studies" Willaim said to Ariella.

" I am glad you do not think that age does not make a difference" William told Nika." Rex did not drown and i you are right about Rex, he did nothing" William explained to Nika. " An old girlfriend of Rex's showed up, they are together now. he had saved her from drowning, but it is a longer story" William said to Nika. " I bet you would not go out with me on a date if i Asked you" Willaim sighed.
OOC- Sorry if I repeated some of the same things. I had not been on the computer in a while.

"A Nine!?" Patroclus cried incredulously! "Only a nine?" He was shocked, his dive had been executed with the smoothest precision, like a an eagle in flight, he had been graceful in take off, flight and landing, it deserved a ten out of ten at least, or perhaps one of those grades that were numerically impossible, "You need your eyes check mate!" And Simon a captain.......a worrying thought!

"Well she best have plenty for all of us!" He smiled, snugglying in beside Kurumi his little LionCub, "Because the feast was at least forty minutes ago, which means one thing; I am starving once again!" And to accentuate his statement he pushed a clump of marshmellows into his mouth.

He was taken by surprise however as Kurumi began to tell him of a present she had purchased for him on her holiday, he couldn't be sure, but he thought she had mentioned Kyoto......a destination he greatly wished to see, "Ohhhh Kurumi," he gushed, pulling her into a choking hug, "You are just the definition of Cuteness!" She truly was! Even thought he had no idea as to why he needed his feet protected, he loved it all the same, "I am truly honoured my dear!" he added with a smile, bowing his head a little, hoping to convey his thanks!

Grinning at the Master of S'mores Patroclus need no more invitation, "Quickly! Throw it into my mouth!" The many meals Patroclus Lexi and Sal had shared on the boat had often ended in food being thrown into someones mouth, it was just something that they did, and all found it hilarious!

"Mother and Father are great, they send their love of course!" He couldn't remember whether or not he had mentioned that when they had spoken at the Opening Feast, "More gifts!?" He laughed, "Geez I thought it was September, not December!" The Fifteenth of December would mark Patroclus' Sixteenth Birthday, he was only one year off from being of Age! "Well I am sure both I and my Parents will love what every you have gotten us! And beside it was no trouble, we were heading that way anyway!" It had been a constant battle between Pandora and Lexi; Lexi always saying Thank you for the Lift, and Pandora saying thank you for some feminine company!

"S'More me up!"
Before the next s'more could reach it's destination, Patroclus heard a voice that he needed to have words with; Legend.....

"Good Evening Legend......" He called giving the boy a scathing smile, "Have fun losing us points before the food had even arrived at the Feast?" Patroclus was a prefect yes, but he was also a proud lion and losing points was not an option, they need to win the cup again, and defeat the other houses who for so long had seen the Lions as lesser students!

"It's really not a problem." Zara smiled sheepishly, while waving her hands in front of her to really show that it wasn't and that the bowing was not really needed.

Zara blinked. Her? Was she really asking her? "Let's see, uhm. Well, when I was a child my parents spent a lot of time with me since they got home early from work. My dad was a doctor before while my mum was a concert pianist. I guess they decided to live a normal life for a while. And I loved it when my mum played the piano, I watched as her fingers danced among the black and white keys. Then I wished I could play like her. I had piano lessons from her for quite a while and I was learning the basics. But our lessons were cut short when one day this certain letter arrived," Zara said, remembering the day when she got the letter from the mailbox like she always does and brought it along with other letters back inside to give to her mum and dad. "Erm, so there, I gave them the letters and one of them suddenly moved on its own and into the air. It ripped itself on its own and my eyes were wide with shock and amazement. Instantly, my parents hands were covering my eyes and my ears. I wondered why they had to do it before, but ever since after that they had different jobs which they wouldn't tell me off. They always came home late and I never got to finish learning piano. My mum hired a piano teacher to teach me instead. I was determined to learn so I could spend time with my mum again, hoping that when I become really great at playing the piano, we could play together." Zara explained.

Zara gave Kurumi an apologetic look for her long story. She assumed that Kurumi was probably not interested in her story and was sorry to bother her with all the details. "To make it short, I play the piano. A bit of guitar, just the chords though, I haven't learned the plucking. And flute, too since I got one as a Christmas present and my parents hired a teacher for me so that the present wouldn't be wasted." Zara summarized. "Sorry for the long story." And she, herself bowed.

Selina finally untangled herself from her hug with Kurumi and sat back in her chair smiling. The look on Kurumi's face was a mixture of nausea and mortification. So Selina tried to take down her excitement a notch, "Right," she said clearing her throat and pulling her hair back in a pony tail, "well I guess we'll um just have to see what happens come try out day, huh?"

Alice smiled at the girl warmly, giving her a friendly little wave. "Hello!"

Alice felt her cheeks flush a little at the compliment. Rex? "Oh, so you're related to Rex?" Alice asked with a little chuckle. "I knew him when he went here," Alice adding, in case their was any confusion. "I think as long as you work hard with Professor Hecate, you shouldn't have any issues. Kind of interesting about that boat showing up in the Lake, isn't it?" Alice had read the Daily Prophet and to be quite honest even though they said it was completely safe she still wasn't entirely sure...

UGH! Legend Chosen... He was SO loud and obnoxious. Secretly she thought of him as a friend, but she would never tell HIM that.

Merlin hopped off of the table and scuttled over to the sofa that the clearly overweight cat was now... stuck under. Shoot. Want me to get my mistress to do something to help?

He had to admit it was pretty funny though.

Lexi shrugged. "The girls scouts camp a lot... and I reckon they decided to try it... or something. Glad they did, though. These are lovely," she said as she put her first one together and took a big old bite of the ooey gooey goodness.

Lexi grabbed a mallow from the huge bag and tossed one toward his mouth. Hehe. "Better idea than the pasta toss in Athens. Hehehe," she said with a fit of giggles.

Lexi blushed slightly. She KNEW she was gushing a bit about his parents and thanking him profusely... but she just wasn't used to people being so nice and loving toward her. "It's nothing big... just a small token of gratitude." She felt her cheeks flushing more when Pat actually said it was no trouble... she thought of herself as a burden most of the time, so...

Tossing him a skewer and all the fixings she settled back on the sofa, feet in the seat, and smiled around her as she nibbled her s'more.

"ALICE!!!!" Lexi cried out from her spot on the sofa, not willing to get up and head over there... she was enjoying herself. Waving her arms frantically to be sure her other little cublet saw her, she then waved her over to join them.

BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH!

Kurumi instantly turned a beat red when she received a hug that quite literally took her breath away - and not necessarily in a good way. Thankfully, Patroclus released her before her face had turned too purple, so she didn't have to worry about passing out from a lack of oxygen.

"Y-Y-You're welcome," she squeaked softly as she eyed the bag of marshmallows.

Kurumi had to laugh to herself. Her and Zara played the piano for very different reasons. Why the first year strove to play well simply so that she could spend more precious time with her mother and saw it as a way of connecting the two of them, Kurumi had been forced to play the piano by her mother, no questions asked. She had almost come to hate the piano..almost.

"If you'd like, we could go to the Room of Requirement together and see if it turns into a piano studio for us," she offered. "I sometimes did that my first and second years. Mother would be very displeased if my pianist abilities were to become less than perfect in her eyes. You really have to want to play desperately though." Which had been a rather difficult thing for her to accomplish at times since the freedom of NOT having to play three hours a day before bedtime had been wonderful.

"Merlin knows I could use more practice," she blushed as she continued to tug on her hair. "I-I-I was actually thinking about going down to the practice pitch tomorrow and..." sit on the ground clinging to a broom watching the other students soar around and so all sorts of unnecessary tricks "...practicing a bit..."
The black cat had BETTER not be laughing at his discomfort. Walnut would never attack another cat on pure principle that cats should act humane whenever possible...but his Mistress' shoes were another story. THOSE were fair game should the feline insult him.

Tail swishing back and forth, Walnut began to yowl from under the sofa. Unfortunately, his yowl was a bit muffled. Yes please...

"Thank you for teaching me Lexi," Kurumi smiled taking another smore and sticking it back on her skewer. This time, for sure, the ruddy marshmallow was going to stay on it! "I've never actually been camping. I hear it is a lot of fun though."

Wisteria entered her common room. The instant sigh of relief encompassed her. She was at home. As she walking by she noticed a different face, one she wasn’t familiar with. She looked at her in a way that when you look at someone they’re bound to look back, like when you know someone’s watching you… although not in a creepy way. She passed a wave and a smile hoping to catch her attention. And continued to reach her destination- chair.

She spotted William eager to see how he was doing. Drowning… Rex, she thought… what? Before she came to any conclusions she decided to walk up first and say hi.

“How are you?” She looked to Nika, “Wow two of my most favorite people, I’m lucky. So… what’s this I hear about drowning?”


“I feel like I haven’t seen you in ages, excuse me.” She noticed she was talking with someone else. “How are you?”
