Braeden nodded assuringly as Ivory commented on him backing up her story about the killer trees. Sure, he'd be a witness to it. He just couldn't promise her anyone would believe him; Braeden wasn't necessarily the type of character most took seriously. The boy shook her hand as she offered it, letting it last a little longer than necessary. But Brae knew nothing of greeting people by shaking hands - how long was a handshake supposed to last? He usually just waved and smiled or whatever... So once he began to feel silly still shaking her hand, he pulled back awkwardly. Oh good, she was taking his book idea seriously! Finally, someone who didn't just laugh at his wild ideas. "In that case, I will make sure to add a dedicatory on the very first page of the book, just for you," he said, nodding his head slightly. Yeah, that was a huge honour; who wouldn't want to have a book on how to provoke creatures dedicated to them?

"You're persistent," Braeden noted with slightly raised eyebrows as Ivory commented on her wit. "I'm telling you, it was the tree. You had no way of knowing it'd happen; no one really walks around wary of trees attacking them," he said in her defense. If the culprit tree could hear their conversation, it would probably be rolling its eyes right now. "Well noted!" he added with one of his goofy grins as Ivory pointed out that he was a Gryffindor. "And a sixth year," he added smugly. Smug didn't look very well on Braeden; it just made him look like a mischievous seven-year-old. But he was quite proud of starting his sixth year, he felt all... wise and mature. Even though he really wasn't all that much wiser or more mature than he had been in his third year.

The pathways. Evangeline felt that over the time that she'd now been at Hogwarts, with all her exploring around she was getting to know the castle pretty well. She'd found that she really liked places like the library and in the grounds like the lake, and now here.

It was nice walking in the light atmosphere that made up the pathways along with Evan. With a hand she curled a few strands of borwn hair around her fingers. The breakfast had made her contedly full up with pancakes.

"I find the man quite scary and unnerving to be honest. He is just one of those adults who makes you want to crawl out of your skin." And the mans actions at the feast hadn't exactly warmed her to him. "Why did he sit down in Professor Vindictus chair? He isn't the deputy headmaster right?" Sophie asked a bit worried. Hogwarts didn't need a new deputy when the had the wonderful Professor Vindictus.

Evan changed the topic to prefectdom which made her giggle with him as she confessed that it was nice but tiring. Fully agreeing."When I finally made it back to the common room that night i felt totally exhausted." Thinking back she added on "I didn't get much sleep at all really. My brain just didn't stop working in overdrive." Sophie stopped to admire a flower for a moment or two. Starting to walk again she said "I like prefecting. It's fun to help out other students but tiring. What did your parents say when you got the bage?" Sophie fired a new question Evan's way liking the chance to be alone with him with no disturbances.

The doll frowned at her order and she sighed. "come on Mr. Panda, we can't go through this again. i own you. And don't you start telling me about my height. i've gotten at least an inch taller over the summer!" still, the doll wouldn't budge. it was so stubborn enough to just stand there with its arms crossed. "oh, all right, but until i find something worth taking a picture, i'm putting you down, okay?" she said and scooped the doll in her arms. "you are so darn stubborn like my dad, you know that? but i love it when you are like my dad, i terribly miss him so."

She had been keeping up with the beat in her head, counting to make sure that she kept up with the tune he was singing. Soon that, along with the glances down at her feet to make sure she didn't step on his toes, stopped and she was distracted by the turn, grin widening. As the beat picked up, a light bounce came into her steps, and she occasionally joined in on his tune on the bits she knew.

Kurumi, who was once again chasing after Walnut, had managed to chase him around the common room, through the astronomy tower, up and down all the corridors, though some strange obstacle course in the Room of Requirement, under the tables in the Great Hall, and now all the way out here on the Hogwarts grounds.

"Walnut, please," she pouted as she continued to chase her cat. Walnut continued to run like he was running away from a fire. That is, until he saw a certain stuffed panda walking around and then the cat stopped dead in his tracks. What was that thing doing here? "Finally," Kurumi sighed picking up the stubby-legged cat. It was then that she noticed Heather with...A CAMERA! Moving picture time. "Heather!"

It wasnt very croweded here, you could totally feel that it was the beginning of term,when everyone was in their common rooms and dorms to talk.But Fee felt like visiting her fave places first. Tonight would be talk night at the girls dorm,hehe.
