"Your right about that. Getting a security person now is a bit late and wierd. He should have been here for the triwizard cup." Sophie said thinking as they walked further into the pathways. "I find the man quite scary and unnerving to be honest. He is just one of those adults who makes you want to crawl out of your skin." And the mans actions at the feast hadn't exactly warmed her to him. "Why did he sit down in Professor Vindictus chair? He isn't the deputy headmaster right?" Sophie asked a bit worried. Hogwarts didn't need a new deputy when the had the wonderful Professor Vindictus.

Evan changed the topic to prefectdom which made her giggle with him as she confessed that it was nice but tiring. Fully agreeing."When I finally made it back to the common room that night i felt totally exhausted." Thinking back she added on "I didn't get much sleep at all really. My brain just didn't stop working in overdrive." Sophie stopped to admire a flower for a moment or two. Starting to walk again she said "I like prefecting. It's fun to help out other students but tiring. What did your parents say when you got the bage?" Sophie fired a new question Evan's way liking the chance to be alone with him with no disturbances.
Evan nodded his head at her words. He definitely should have been here at the time of a triwizard tournament, when security was needed the most. Nothing happened, luckily, but they couldn't know that back then, considering the competition's history. Chuckling, he said "Yes, he is scary... or wants to look scary." But he should be, shouldn't he? He was like a guard, after all, and they should be on that side a little.

"I don't think so..." he answered the question. Why having a man managing a huge school when he had no experience and whatsoever about it? Managing a school was very different than anything else, and he couldn't see the ministry making a mistake like that. "Maybe he wanted to be close to the headmaster and didn't know where to sit?" He shrugged. No big deal, was it? It was just a chair, after all...

He nodded again. "Yes, only my brain was so tired that I slept for a good ten hours." And then, here he was, with her, totally alone. Gotta love first days of school and nothingness.

Running a hand through his hair again, he said "They were extremely excited, of course, and proud. I think even the people of Micronesia learnt I was a prefect," he said with a small chuckle. He skipped the part where his mother also cried. That was too girlie for a sixteen-year-old teenage, and surely not something to mention to a pretty girl.

"How about yours?" he asked as he kicked a small stone on the floor. Shame he hadn't brought his ball with him.
