Kurumi breathed out heavily, thankful that Selina had dropped the subject for now. It still amazed her out two worlds living practically next door to one another were so oblivious to one another. It didn’t seem right to her, all the hiding and secrecy. Weren’t both the wizarding world and the non-wizarding world built on the foundations of freedom? Seemed rather contradictory.

“I’m excited too!” Kurumi squeaked as she clapped her hands together a few times. “I’d love to show you around in Japan as well. Only problem would be, um, well, you wouldn’t be allowed to use magic.”

She then turned to Michael. "Aw, that's very kind of you, but I prefer more traditional ways.” Like with a pen and pad of paper. Maybe that is why she enjoyed the wizarding world. You were almost traveling back in time using quills and parchment to do your assignments.

" Well I know for a fact as long as you feed Bubba some of your pecan sandies he will hold his wing up for you " opening up one the small boxes of every flavored beans and offering them to the two girls ,popping one in to his mouth ,only to scrunch up his face " grasshopper"

"That's fine because you forget Kurumi- we're underage. We can't use magic outside of Hogwarts anywhere. That even includes in the comfort of our own homes." Selina smiled at the small Japanese girl.

"Flying is an exception because... well... actually I don't know why it's exempt from the rules. I don't question it because I get to fly."

Finlay laughed, smiling down at Neptune. He could kind of see where she was coming from. Kind of. He didn't really care. Neptune was one of his best friends, and that was all. End of story. "It's crazy?" He grinned. But was it true? Neptune hadn't exactly denied it. But he nodded at her last sentence. "You love hitting on me." Finn grinned, before laughing again. Finlay and Neptune were strictly friends. Definetly.

Don't tell Marie that they snogged? Finlay smirked at her for a second, before nodding. "I wasn't going to tell her." Or anyone else really.

Kurumi bit her lower lip and fumbled with her hands for a bit. "No...it's...it's not for that reason exactly," she said dropping her arms to her sides for a moment before crossing them across her chest. "My mother she, well, she doesn't allow my brothers or I to keep our wands. She is even uneasy about my father carrying his."

Why WAS Flying an exception to the rule? Perhaps she should ask Professor Vindictus at the beginning of the next term if he hadn't been eaten by the man-eating plant that is

Selina blinked a few times, "She doesn't let you... keep your wand? But it's a witches life line. Her connection to her inner magic. I know we can't use them, but you should still have it. It's a part of you."

Selina knew very little about Kurumi's family state. In the few conversations that exchanged about family all Selina knew was her mother was less than supportive of magic.

Kurumi shrugged. "I don't know the reason why, but father says that she has a valid one...they...they just refuse to talk about it. Not even my brothers know." She paused for a moment and nibbled on her licorice wand. "She used to make me wear brown contacts to hide my violet eyes. It was only those times that she actually looked at me."

Kurumi swallowed hard. She hadn't shared this information with anyone but Adam, and even then she had been in too much of a shock to go into too much detail. Picking up a random magazine and holding it over her face, she scooted closer to Selina.

"Whatever it is that put my mother off magic...it also made my father fake his death..."

"There is no valid reason for taking away your wand," Selina started. She was slowly starting to get angry at this woman she had never met, "You are who you are and no.amount of contacts is going to change that or make what she does to you valid. Seriously, she is your mother and you deserve undivided love and support no matter what you choose to be. If it's a witch, so be it. You should be you."

Then Kurumi, like a panda, hid behind her magazine, "Kurumi?" Selina said slowly.

Then she heard Kurumi speak, "Your father what?"

"SHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," Kurumi hissed pressing her finger to her lips. Selina had a right to be surprised. Kurumi had squeaked so loudly in the library reading lounge when she had read the newspaper article with her father's picture next to it, minus a few slight differences in his facial structure - but the eyes had been the same. Well, the newspaper article and the conversation she had had with Mrs. Elo in Hogsmeade. "I only just found out towards the end of the term."

Under Kurumi's hand Selina mumbled, "But eye do oo snot go?"

Kurumi stared at Selina for a few moments with a look of utter confusion on her face. It was the sort of look one might have if one saw a hippogriff and a doxie sitting down for afternoon tea with the Headmaster in his office.

Then it hit Kurumi. SHE WAS SPEAKING IN TONGUES! Hadn't she read about Seers and Oracles speaking in strange languages when they were having a vision of the future? She was she she had read that in some book or another...but that book wouldn't do her much good now considering it was locked in her trunk.

Not knowing what else to do, Kurumi latched onto Selina's shoulders and looked into her eyes. They didn't look glazed over like they usually did...

After Cass dramatic leaving, Freya thought to buy some food in the food trolley. She wondered what made her besties leaving their compartment earlier. She looked okay when the blonde haired Slytherin entered the compartment and suddenly she just left her and Fee there. Oh well, maybe Cass gonna tell her before the party. She hoped so.

Elliot was really bored so he decided to wonder around the train for a while before they arrived in London. He couldn't believe that his second year was over and its summer already. The Slytehrin didn't realize that he was near the food trolley until he saw the old lady that selling the food. When he was about to approach the lady, he saw his childhood friend walking towards the food trolley. He smirked and walked towards her. "Hey stranger." he greeted her. "Fancy meeting you here." he said.

It was, in some ways, entirely calming to know that Finny was so at ease. He either didn't care at ALL that Jim might bury him OR he knew something Neptune didn't. Either was likely, and both set Neptune to ease that Finny wasn't going to be harmed. That just left Jim's hurt - which there was obviously nothing Neptune could do about. None of her business anyway. HE wouldn't want her to be included anyway. So.... let it go Neptune. Let it go.

Easier said than done.

...."It's my favorite. I'll have to reserve all my flirting to the Common Room from now on. " JOKING. MOSTLY. Finny and Neptune were harmless. And mostly just couldn't help themselves. Giggle. She got one more snuggle in before... letting go. Someone might SEE.

"I wasn't either. I haven't told Jake either. Though..." giggle "...it was a noteworthy occasion." Neptune wiggled her eyebrows at him, GIGGLED, and then blushed ridiculously.

Once Kurumi let go of Selina's mouth she gasped for air. Fonally regaining her footing Selina looked up at Kurumi who was giving her a peculiar stare. Selina turned around to see if anyone was behind her but saw no one. Turning back to the glare Selina looked down at the floor uncomfortablely.

Then Kurumi grabbed her shoulders and forced her to look in her purple eyes, "Hey! What are you...? Wow you have big eyes."

"Mmm...you'll be my common room secret." Finlay smirked at her, pouting a little as she let go. He liked his Neptune cuddles. "All our flirting is innocent anyway." He didn't seen Tuney in that way anymore, he hadn't for a long while.

"It's probably for the best....." He didn't exactly what to bring everything that had happened last summer back into the focus of their thoughts. "It was a very noteworthy occasion..." He agreed with a little grin.

Elle forgot to ask her Mum for more cookies for her way back home and she was starving. Her stomach began making low, embarrassing, angry rumbles as she made her way through the aisle where students went in and out to meet their friends for the last time.

Anyway, the redhead had spare money. She jangled with the Galleons and Sickles in her pocket, smiling to herself.

What shall I buy? Elle was arguing with her mind, whether she would spend all her money on Chocolate Frogs or for the Every Flavor Beans.

After her little emotional breakdown, Cass decided that she could use a snack from the trolley. So after changing out of her school robes and into a casual outfit, she took her bag and cat and headed for the snack trolley.

"Hey Elle. Long time no see." Cass exclaimed in surprise when she noticed the Slytherin standing in line before her "How have you been?"

Elle turned her head as she was waiting in line too. "Cass! It's great to see you. I'm just lining up, forgot to ask my Mum to bring me some snacks on the way home, cause I'm starving! But generally, I've been great. First Year at Hogwarts and well, it was great! Nothing to complain about," she finished with a grin.

Elle moved forward where the person in front of her stood. "I'm having a bit trouble choosing which I should buy. Finish my money with Chocolate Frogs or Berty Bott's Every Flavor Beans? Been arguing with myself since I was at the back of the line..." the redhead laughed a little.

"That's good." She said with a smile as she stepped forward as the line moved forward "If I were you, I'd go for the frogs...because...well chocolate is better then earwax, don't you think so?"

Elle laughed and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. As I was passing by some compartments, I heard a guy saw 'grasshoppers'. Must be gross..." The redhead winced at the thought of eating something like that.

"I was thinking, maybe I could avoid the disgusting flavors and eat the good ones. Then I could trick my brothers into eating the icky beans. But, okay. Chocolate Frogs sound much better!" It was finally Elle's turn.

"As many Chocolate Frogs as I can get with Twelve Galleons and Eight Sickles, please. And keep the change, I don't them it," she smiled at the woman. As she took the snacks from her, she handed over the payment and grinned. The little girl stepped out of line and waited for Cass.

Starving, Elle couldn't help but open a box of the chocolate. She managed to catch the frog before it hopped off and ate it in one seating. "Mmm..."

Freya was deep in her thought when she heard someone or rather a familiar voice speaking to her. Its Elliot. Of course its Elliot who else could owned that annoying voice anyway except her childhood friend? "Hello to yourself." she rolled her eyes when she saw a smirk plastered in Elliot faces. "Where have you been Humphrey?" she asked. "I didn't see you at the end of the term feast." The last the blonde saw him was long before the term ended.

That..... was a little too close to home. Something a little too close to being a dirty little secret. Neptune managed to keep her smile, but it certainly dimmed. She wasn't going to bring it up anyway.

Marie was destined to hate her, Neptune was sure. Sigh. Ah well. Definitely time for a subject change.

"What were you and Mr. Salander up to before I interrupted? Behaving, I hope?"

Finlay did notice her smile dim a little, and part of him wandered why, but he decided not to ask. He didn't want to make her upset or anything. No, that wouldn't be good at all. No, it was a much better idea to just leave it as it was.

"Of course we were behaving Princess Bott." Finlay grinned, leaning against the side of the train. Sal and Finn totally behaved when they were together. "We were discussing food...." Yeah. Cause they were that cool.

Hannah went to the food trolley she got some candies and some muffins and a two glasses of butter beer.She wanted to become besties with nika.She payed and forgot to get some more baked goods to take to the feast.
