Arya took a moment to really really think about the questions posed to her. She didn't need to though, she already knew the answer to all of the questions. "I do get that feeling, that...weird feeling. He just looks at me, and," she tossed her hands up in the air before letting them plop down back beside her. "It's there, and it won't go away."

"I think about him all the time. I don't know...it just happens without me realizing it. And my heart.." She let out a loud sigh she didn't realize she'd been holding in to stop her rambling. She wasn't sure if she'd answered Mia's question, but she did know that if felt good to say all of that aloud.

SQUEEEE!!!!!

It took all of Mia's self control not to jump up and down with excitement. She liked to see people in love and happy. Even though she had been totally against the whole relationship thing at the beginning of last term. But it just takes that special someone to come along and change your mind.

"Oh Arya." Mia's voice was just barely containing the excitement within it. "You do have feelings for him. More than just friendship." Between all the excitement she was feeling, something suddenly occured to her. "Wait! Why is this a problem Arya? I mean you just told me that he has feelings for you as well."

Was she missing something here?

"He's my best friend." Arya was excited about all of this too, probably more excited than Mia was, and a bit of her excitement showed in her eyes. But most was hidden by worry, a worry that had her keeping all of her feelings under lock and key. "What if something goes wrong, and we break up? I couldn't lose him over my feelings." She pouted a bit. More at the next statement than her previous. "And he's graduating this term."

The worry in the girls eyes was hard not to notice. Mia reached out and gently patted Arya on the shoulder. "I felt the very same way when I started to develop feelings for Nikolai. But someone told me that I would regret it, if I never told him how I felt. And I am so glad that I took that person's advice." She paused for a moment and smiled at Arya. "No relationship is fool proof. There's always that chance. But Arya, honey, you have to at least try. To be with someone that you feel that strongly about, well there is nothing else like it."

She removed her hand and flopped onto her back and looked up at the canopy again. "Nik graduated last term. And I miss him. Boy do I ever. But we're making it work because we care that much about each other. And you and Sabel will do the same."

Mia's pat had pulled Arya from her thoughts that she'd managed to get lost in once again, and it took a quick moment for her to focus back on the older girl, and her words. "I know...I should tell him, I want to. I guess its just that worry stopping me." She shrugged her shoulders a small half-smile crossing her face. "I should tell him then...?"

"Sabel isn't one to give up easily," she commented lightly, eyes following Mia's to the canopy. "And neither am I." So if they did get together, she was sure they'd make it work. She hoped they would. Now that that was settled, she was able to think about other things, like Mia's guy. "What house was Nikolai in?"

"You should definitely tell him." Mia said, nodding her head in agreement. And even if they did break up, she had a good feeling that they would remain friends with each other. Arya certainly didn't look the type to just let an important friendship fall apart.

Mia smiled up at the canopy at Arya's words. They would totally make it work. She turned her head to look at the young girl when she asked about Nik and that smile touched her lips again every time she heard his name or though about him. "He didn't go to Hogwarts. He was one the Durmstrang Champions that was here last year for the TWT."

It was settled then. She would tell Sabel as soon as she left the dorms, or maybe a little after that, whenever she could find him. Feeling like a bit of pressure had been lifted off her shoulders, she let out another sigh, and settled back on the comfy bed. Mia had given her a lot of needed encouragement, something she needed with the whole Sabel situation.

Ohh. Mia had gotten her one of those champions from the other schools. "That's cool. I didn't realize any of them were dating any students from here." More like she didn't think they would. Those Durmstringy students didn't sit well with Arya. Mia probably got the nice one. "You gonna see him over the holiday then?"

There was no way for anyone to really know about her and Nik. It wasn't like either of them had run around telling everyone that they had feelings for each other. They may be opposites in some parts of their personalities bit in others, they were the same. Both of them liked to keep their personal lives to themselves.

It was only because Marie could be so bloody persistent that she knew as much as she did.

But Arya's comment only made her laugh. "I don't think Nik was expecting something like this to happen. To be quite honest. Neither was I." But that's how life worked. "Yes I am going to Russia over Christmas. He came to Australia during the summer so it's only fair that I return the favor."

HA! Like she need to be asked twice to go and see him.

"Are you going anywhere over the holidays or are you staying here?"

It was funny how life worked. Mia and Nik hadn't expected to have feelings for each other, or become a couple, and neither had she and Sabel. It was almost laughable, especially when she considered the history between them.

Mia's laughing had a grin spreading across her face, and taking a peek at the girl. "Oh, Russia. That sounds....cold." She giggled. "I think I'd pick Australia over Russia, but at least you get to be with him." Arya was pretty sure that if Mia's feelings for Nik were stronger for her feelings for Sabel, then she would go anywhere to see him.

"I haven't seen my parents since the beginning of June, so I'm going home for the break." Missed them so much she did. "Sabel said he might stop by during the break." And even though she didn't say it, it was pretty obvious that she hoped he would come by to see her.

"Yeah it does. But the way Nikolai described it in his letter it sounds really beautiful so I guess I can deal with the cold." And of course he promised to keep her warm so yeah she could definitely deal with the cold. "Mmmhmmm." Was all Mia was going to say on the matter of being with him.

Arya's comment about not seeing her parents since the summer made Mia feel slightly guilty about not seeing her own parents but they were pretty cool with her not coming home for Christmas and besides her mother was probably going to run off to some protest march or something anyway.

A small mischevious grin spread across her face. "Well I bet if you tell him how you feel about him then I am sure he will definitely come by and see you. In fact he'll probably go with you."

Arya knew little to nothing about Russia except for the few stories she'd heard from her father. And even with those stories, all she remembered was that it was freezing cold up there. So there was no disagreeing with Mia on that part about it being beautiful. All that snow probably was beautiful. "Drink a biiig glass of Russian hot chocolate for me." She said teasingly with a big grin. They probably had goood coco.

The girl hadn't missed Mia's grin, tried to contain as much of the excited and nervous feeling bubbling inside of her. There was, however, no hiding her grin at the girl's words. "You think so? I think I will tell him, before the break I mean. He doesn't even have any plans for the break..." So maybe he would go with her? She wasn't sure, but she sure could hope.

Giggling a little at what Arya said, Mia nodded her head. "I'll be sure to. I may have to drink a bucket load. Winter and I don't exactly agree with each other." But she would go anywhere for Nik.

Pulling herself up into a sitting position, Mia pulled out her pillow and gave Arya a playful swat on the head with it. "What are you waiting for? You should be running out there and telling him now. How can you possibly want to keep this to yourself?"

Okay so she had done the same thing last year but she knew better now.

"Same for me...I'd much rather be somewhere warm." Another reason why she was going home. It didn't get to cold back home during the winter, and she could probably get away with wearing a light jacket while there.

Arya wasn't expecting to be swatted with the pillow, and had little time to defend herself. Rolling away from the girl and onto her stomach, more to hide her rising embarrassment than to defend herself, she grinned sheepishly up at Mia. "Nerves." They were eating her up, but they'd go away when she told him wouldn't they? Was this what he had felt like? Hm.

"I don't want to..." She'd just gotten used to keeping them to herself. But it was kinda starting to hurt now? Now that she'd told someone. Someone not being Sabel, who needed to know.

Her eyes flicked from Mia to the door and back to the older girl, as she shifted on the bed so that she was sitting up right. "He's probably not in his common room."

Yeah she could totally understand what Arya was going through. Hadn't she also been nervous when she had told Nikolai how she felt about him. But it had helped that they had kissed first. That had kinda broken the ice a little.

Mia flopped down onto her stomach right beside Arya and she gave the girl an encouraging smile. "You already know he likes you. So really it's in the bag." Hopefully that would calm the younger girl down a little. Hopefully.

"I can go with you if you want. I mean I'll leave as soon as you work up the courage to tell him and all." Mia was pretty sure the girl didn't want to have an audience there. "But you know maybe I can kinda help you ease into it."

"That's true." That was true. She did already know that he liked her, a lot. And remembering that helped a little, but not much, the nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach was still there.

She considered the older girl's offer for a brief moment before nodding her head. "Would you? Just til I get the courage?" It would help SO MUCH to tell him if Mia was there to ease her into it, she knew how to do these things after all.

Violet sat on her bed with her parchment and swan quill feather writing away as she was writing a letter to her family. On her bed was Sadie who, was a little bigger now, was giving herself a little bath. Violet noticed the cream colored kitten and smiled warming and gave her a gentle strokevon her head which switched to a light scratch. In response Sadie purred lightly which made Violet giggle a little. Then she went back to writing her letter telling her family and Evelynn how much she missed them and how she loved her gift Evelynn had sent her. Violet ended up filling up her entire parchment and then folded it and closed it in an envelope. She would send Isis out with the letter later. Viole sighed a little and paused for a moment trying to think of what to do now. Then Sadie had taken the initiative to move onto Violet's lap bringing her out of her slight daze. Violet smiled and began lightly stroking Sadie again.

Looks like they were now on a mission. Mia rolled off the bed and looked down at Arya with a smile and she held out her hand to the younger girl. "No time like the present."

She kinda wished she'd had someone there with her when she had spoken to Nikolai. Well actually perhaps not. "Where is the first place we should look?"

A bit of shifting and rolling, and she was soon on her feet with the help of Mia's proffered hand. Smiling at the older girl, she ran a hand through her hair, nodding her head in agreement. A bit nerve racking the present, but still good.

Sort of leading the way out of the dormitory, she pondered over the places that Sabel could be. The castle suddenly seemed.....really big. Hm. "I think we should check the grounds first, starting with the corridor." Duh. Had to go through that to get to the grounds.

Upon entering the dormitory, a kitten caught Harper's attention. Oooh, fluffy creature! Then she turned her eyes to the owner of the little cat. Determined to make friends one way or another (since she could not find Trey), she decided now was the time to finally talk to someone.

"Aww, is she yours?" Harper asked, striding up to the end of the girl's bed with a smile on her face. "She's really cute." Assuming it was a she, of course.

Nunually ran into the common room seeing that her owl sebastian was waiting for her on her bed. Her eyes widened and she ran towards it. it had been a week since she had last heard from her mother and she was excited to see what her mother had said about using her old dress as a costume. Although she had considered that the dress might be too long on her she figured she would make it into a tail. "Hello Sebastian. Do you have something for me?" she asked the owl and sticking out his leg she thanked him and read the letter.

"YES, MOMMY SAID YES YAY!" Nulu began to jump on the bed and giggled then suddenly a package appeared on her bed and she fell off the bed. "i am getting attacked by magical packages." she said and grabbed her wand and pocked the package. "well its not ticking so I don't think i will get hurt." she told herself and opened it seeing her mothers white dress in there. Her eyes widened and she smiled her favorite shoes and her hair clips were there as well. Nulu quickly begun to change and put on a hair tie around her ankles to keep her wand there. As soon as Nulu was done she blushed. The dress made Nulu look like an adult. she smiled and grabbed some knee hights before adding the hair tie around her ankle. She then put on her hair clips, shoes, and her jewelry on. She then headed out towards the maze

Jaina sat on her bed with the curtains of her bed drawn so no one could see her sitting on it. Her hair a deep blue and straight to match her eyes, she cried quietly clutching a letter from home:


That was it then...alone because she was just learning how to control everything. She didn't want anyone knowing about it. She would get a job during the summer, invest some money, and save what she could in the bank. She loved her parents, but she couldn't be normal any more than they could be understanding. It was either here where she was safe from them or there where they would most likely take her to the doctors to find out how to "cure" being a witch and metamorphmagus. She wiped the tears away and pulled out her History of Magic homework. She knew what she was going to write.

Violet jumped a little at the sound of someone's voice. She looked up seeing a girl at the end of her bed. Violet smiled sweetly and then said brightly,"Yes, she is! Her name's Sadie!" She then replied again,"Thank you, as soon as I saw her at the Magical Menagerie I instantly fell in love with her. And clearly she felt the same!" Violet giggled and stroked Sadie a little bit, before she knew it Sadie was gracefully making her way towards the girl. Violet then gasped a little saying,"Oh my goshm how rude of me! My name is Violet Le Veela! I'm a first year at Hogwarts!" She smiled and then asked,"What's your name?"

Harper beamed. What a nice name! Especially for a kitty cat. "I can see why, too." she nodded enthusiastically. She reached out a hand for Sadie to sniff.

"Nice to meet ya, Violet, I'm Harper Crickette." she smiled and looked back at the girl. Oooh kitty is soooo distractingggg. Ahem. "I'm a fourth year. But this is technically my first year. I mean, I'm at fourth year level. And I'm fourteen. But, this is my first year at Hogwarts." Harper always thought that sounded funny to say, but explaining it probably only made it more confusing.

"Do you like it so far? she asked. "I love it. It's really mysterious."

Violet smiled at how easily Sadie and Harper were getting along. She then said sweetly,"Lovely to meet you too Harper Crickette!" Violet heard Harper confusing herself with what she wanted to say, but oddly enough Violet understood everything Harper said and meant. She replied brightly,"I love it here at Hogwarts! It's a new adventure every day and I love it! Especially with my two best friends!"

It was great to see other people who loved Hogwarts. Harper appreciated the enthusiasm from all the students; she knew that if she were a teacher, she would appreciate it even more. It was definitely a hard place to hate. "Mmmhm, I know. There's always somethin' going on." she nodded and smiled. "Oooh, who are your two best friends? Are they in Hufflepuff, too?" She may as well figure out who was friends with who, eh?
