It was only because Marie could be so bloody persistent that she knew as much as she did.
But Arya's comment only made her laugh. "I don't think Nik was expecting something like this to happen. To be quite honest. Neither was I." But that's how life worked. "Yes I am going to Russia over Christmas. He came to Australia during the summer so it's only fair that I return the favor."
HA! Like she need to be asked twice to go and see him.
"Are you going anywhere over the holidays or are you staying here?"
It was funny how life worked. Mia and Nik hadn't expected to have feelings for each other, or become a couple, and neither had she and Sabel. It was almost laughable, especially when she considered the history between them.
Mia's laughing had a grin spreading across her face, and taking a peek at the girl.
"Oh, Russia. That sounds....cold." She giggled.
"I think I'd pick Australia over Russia, but at least you get to be with him." Arya was pretty sure that if Mia's feelings for Nik were stronger for her feelings for Sabel, then she would go anywhere to see him.
"I haven't seen my parents since the beginning of June, so I'm going home for the break." Missed them so much she did.
"Sabel said he might stop by during the break." And even though she didn't say it, it was pretty obvious that she hoped he would come by to see her.
