| | | Corridor outside the Office of Professor Welton Corridor outside the Office of Professor Welton Just outside the doors to Professor Welton’s Office sits a nice Victorian chaise against the opposite wall. It is a family heirloom and means a lot to the professor, so do take care as to not damage it in any way. It has been charmed to repel all kinds of ink and dirt, but whilst you wait for your turn, do try to be respectful of it and those on the chaise with you.
The office door is usually open during the day, especially after lessons, but in the event of it being closed, a simple knock will alert the professor of a visitor. Do wait patiently, the door will open when it is time to enter.
So take a seat and chat with your friends, as it is a great place to sit and talk, Professor Welton will be with you shortly. OOC: Please post here first before entering the office. Professor Welton will invite you in but posting here or quoting in the office itself. It is rude to just barge into a room, so as in normal day situations, it is customary to knock and be invited in. |

"Some distance couldn't hurt. Let he think about what he was done," Sylvie replied. Time to think over what was said and about the effects of what had happened. "Boys are very brash at times and I highly doubt they are truly aware of what they do sometimes." She knew that from personal experience, but that was a whole other story. "Let him come to you and go from there." That was all she really could offer the young Slytherin. "You're welcome, Fee," she smiled. "It's okay, I've experienced similar situations in my youth with boys saying things to me. I know how it feels and I know that things will turn out fine. Beside, I'm a professor and I'm her to help." |

She was rather the popular one as of late.
Looking to her newest visitor, she smiled. "I shall be with you in just a moment, Miss Slytherin." she voiced as she motioned for her to take a seat, before returning her attention back to Fee. |

Simon knocked on the Professor door, he was worried, he was sure the Professor was going to tell him off for being so stupid, well it wasn't his fault he had no idea about the history of Wizards and Witches and he had more important things to do before he got into reading about it.

Hearing the sound of a knock, Sylvie moved to the door. She was expecting some students to come visit her and she was pretty sure this was just the first of many. Opening the door, she smiled seeing it was Simon. "Hello, Simon." |

"Professor you told me to come and see you after the lesson." Simon sighed, he had no idea why he had tried his hardest in the lesson, it wasn't his fault that he didn't know much about the history of Magic.

Sylvie again smiled and moved to sit on the chaise just outside her door, signalling for Simon to join her. "Yes, I did," she nodded as she took notice to the look on his face "By no means are you in trouble, so no need to worry. I just wanted to see if you would like some help with the subject." It wasn't like he was completely lost, but if he wanted her to explain it to him without his fellow students around, she would do so. Sometimes one on one learning sessions were productive for some. |

"I don't know why but I always seem to get lost when I am trying my hardest to get the right answer." Simon sighed, he had no idea why that was but maybe he would find out some time soon.

Sylvie smiled softly at Simon. "There is nothing wrong with not getting the right answer all the time." Yes it was important, but not everyone could have the right answers all the time. "Well, if you want. We can go over anything that you don't understand and I can try to explain it more, if that will help." She didn't want to feel like she was failing any of her students and she was there to teach and educate. "I'm here to help, so just ask and I can see what I can do for you."
Glancing down the corridor and then back to Simon, she nodded. "We could met regularly in my office or another location to go over things if that would help." |

Jacob made his way to Professor Weltons office, the oversized back pack weighing him down. Not only alot of notes, but also the extremely large book for OWL Prep.
He needed to ask the professor a few things before the OWLs panic kicked in with the fifth years... all of them would be going crazy in the library, while Jacob was studying the entire time, like a good little eagle, and at that point was going to be sitting by the fire patiently waiting for each exam to begin.
Jacob gave a quick knock on the professor's door, and set his heavy bag on the nearest chair.

Simon wondered if he was needed if he wanted to be a Quidditch Player.

Her door was always open to her students and colleagues after all.
Upon hearing his next question, she tilted her head in thought. That was a bit of a loaded question, but she wasn't about to brush it off. "Well, the answer to that will surely vary from person to person. If you want to know why it's so important to me, I can tell you. I can't tell you why maybe another professor might find it important. I know what I believe." The subject was important, but she wasn't a fool to think that others held it in the highest regard as she did. "To know history to know what not to possible do in the future. If you know the past, you know the present and in turn the future as well." |
