| | |  The Office of Professor Sylvie-Renée Welton
 As you first enter Professor Welton’s office, you will notice not much has changed in the office. The office walls were still the very same dark mahogany panelling and the floor the same slightly lighter variation of flooring. The antique French Aubusson rug centred on the floor is a bit more worn as Xander and Josette had taken a liking to running amok during office hours. The pair of comfy armchairs atop the rug, very similar to the Victorian chaise outside the office, were pristine as always.
A set of bookshelves, full of random history tomes and books, are noticeable in one corner of the room, near a fireplace. There is also a small spiral staircase beside the fireplace, which leads up to yet more bookshelves. If any student was in need of anything related to history, muggle or wizard, one of these bookshelves would possible have it or would at least guide them in the right direction.
Located just opposite the fireplace and angled ever so slightly is a rather large desk. It almost over powers the professor, but atop it is neatly placed stacks of books and parchment. A tiny nameplate is situated in the middle of the desk and a single newly filled picture frame just to the right. A lone high-backed chair sits in front of the desk and behind the desk is a map of the world.
The only real new addition to the office are the freshly filled and new picture frames scattered throughout the room and atop random flat surfaces.

Walking around the sleeping puppy, Destiny might have 'Awww'd' once or twice before taking a seat in front of the woman's desk. Cozy chairs, made the room less scary.
Steepling her fingers together when asked what she needed to talk about, she leaned back in the chair and raised an eyebrow. "Do you have a pair of scissors?"
This wouldn't work without them.

This wouldn't work without them. Seeing the young She-Snake reaction to her office, Sylvie hint a smile and shook her head. She would never get used to the range of reactions that she saw whilst students would visit her office. It wasn't much different than last term, but seeing that it had been changed at least three times in the last four terms, she was sure no one was accustom to it being the same with each visit.
Leaning back in her chair slightly, she reached for a drawer and opened it. Pulling out a small dish of peppermint toads and then stopped.
"Scissors?" she asked with a slightly raised eyebrow. It was a kind of strange question, but by chance she did just happen to have a pair.
Lowering her hand back into her drawer, she removed the scissors and placed them on her desk.
"A pair of scissors."
For some reason, she had a feeling this was going to be good. Destiny was always full of surprises after all. Never a dull moment when one of the She-Snakes were around. | |

Simon looked around the office after being shoo'd in there, he couldn't believe that the Professor had shoo'd him in, before he could find out what Fee was saying, he wished now he hadn't been so mean even though it was the Slytherin's fault.
Simon stood uneased he knew that the Professor was going to say something to him about the way he had spoken to Fee and he knew that Fee probably wouldn't want to speak to him again, he would have to find her later and see if she thought like that Slytherin were better than Hufflepuff.

Leaning back on her desk, she looked to Simon again and listened. "If there is a lot to talk about, maybe we should start at the beginning." she offered. Nodding her head as she listen to what he had to say. "Simon, you know that lying is bad and it only leads to more trouble." she added with a frown. "I'm sure you had a reason for lying and all, but you need to come clean about it and let your friend decide if your lie is worth hating you for." It was a tricky situation and she wanted to make it clear to him that it wouldn't be easy to resolve. "And then? Simon, if you don't want to talk about whatever is bothering you, I can't really help you." | |

Simon said truthfully, that would be the first thing that he would do, he was wishing now he hadn't said what he had to Fee, he knew she would never do anything like he has suggested she would.
"I know I shouldn't lie but I do have my reason." Simon smiled, he had a good reason, he didn't want everyone to know what he was, he didn't know if he should tell the Professor or not. "I hope that he forgives me because he is one of my best friends."
Simon wondered if he should tell the Professor the rest, he wasn't sure if he could trust her or not, well she was his favorite professor so he might as well tell her. "Well you see I'm going home next summer, it's the first time in three years and I'm worried that all my friends there won't recognise me and they won't want to talk to me and so on." Simon said but that wasn't the main thing that was bothing him. "Professor I am worried about my cousin, no one has seen her for over a year." Simon sighed, he had finally come out with what was bothing him the most.

Fee was a pretty sensible young lady, so she knew Simon wouldn't have to grovel, but he would have to do something to make it up to his friend.
"If he is your friend, he will understand. But you have to know that you might have to regain his trust as well." she explained. Lying was never an answer, in her opinion, and it did always just lead to trouble. "I suggest you just come clean and go from there." Honesty was always the best policy.
Sylvie nodded as she listened to what she was being told. "Simon, if they are really your friends, they will talk to you." she replied with a kind smile. "You might not look the same, I mean we all grow up and change a little, but only because we change, that doesn't mean we are a completely different person. I think you are just over thinking this." In her mind, she didn't think Simon would have too worry too much, but she would do her best to reassure him, if he needed it. "Your friends will still be your friends, no need to worry." At hearing his other concern, she frowned a little. "Over a year? That sounds rather serious. Has anything been done about this?" Missing for a year, that was serious. | |

The frown didn't last long, though, and Destiny nodded her head when asked about the scissors. At first she thought maybe she had said the word wrong. Everyone knows that she has a hard time pronouncing some words and scissors, that has far too many S's in it.
Like speaking Parseltongue or something.
When Professor Welton went back into her drawer, Destiny sat up straighter in the chair and unsteepled her fingers. With the scissors now placed on the desk, she stuck her hand in her pocket and pulling out a small vial, she placed it on the desk right next to them. "I'm going to need a hair sample."

Heaving one of her famous over-dramatic and ginormous sighs, she leaned in closer to the Professor like she was telling a secret, but she really wasn't. "Well, I was going to ask Professor Zookara, but I'm pretty sure he has spiders in his hair."

What if she accidentally ripped off one of their legs!? Still a little intrigued with the request, Sylvie allowed her last question go unanswered. Destiny didn't always think like the other students in her year, which Sylvie is admire, so maybe there was a good reason for her request. She highly doubted it was for sinister purposes. No, she really couldn't see this She-Snake doe something like that.
Sylvie blinked for a second as she heard the words coming from Destiny. A small smirk formed on her lips, before she couldn't hold it any longer and let out a small giggle.
Jeremy had spiders in his hair! That was a funny vision for sure.
"Well, if that is why you want a sample." she replied, after getting herself under control. "I think I could possibly help. I'm just assuming you need human hair and I'm just the next option, as Professor Zookara's hair might have traces of spider hair, correct?" Again the thought of spiders in Jeremy's hair made her want to laugh.
Reaching for the scissors, she pulled a small strain of hair over her shoulder. Reaching the scissors to her hair, she looked to Destiny again.

Simon said but why did he have to come back to school with his cousin missing and now he had lost a friend in Fee.
