This was her new favorite place at Hogwarts, Savannah had decided it. Want to know the weird thing? She LOATHED the color orange, it didn't look good on her and it was just too....orange. Anyway, she liked the Pumpkin Patch, it smelled good and made her really hungry. Savvy sighed and sat down on a pumpkin. This past week had not been the greatest week in her life, she STILL needed to talk to Aiden, she had only spoken with Kody for a few seconds and she STILL didn't know if Aiden and THING had broken up, even though she was sure it had happened.

Wow, Callie was really taking this love thing seriously. She'd almost used it in every conversation they had, using it against him to make sure she got what she wanted out of him, and Jack didn't like it. Callie had taken his jacket, and he was also responsible if she died, AND she had made him promise that he wouldn't talk to any other girls. Of course, the latter would be a serious problem, and was never going to happen. Practically everyone he had met here was a girl, apart from Finn. "I have to risk everything for your love don't I?" Jack smiled, flattening on the hood on his jacket behind Callie, so it didn't stick out. "Thankyou, that is fair, darling. Yes."

Just as he had thought, but he frowned when she said it were be of her choice. Damn, he was planning on picking the ugliest boys in the school for her to smooch, that way, he could prove he wasn't jealous by laughing his head off at what she had to endure. Jack didn't care if the guys were nice, they would be ugly, and that meant everything. Like he always said, he only meade friends with beautiful people; girl or boy. "I could handle that." Jack winked. "Except, one of your choice, one of mine." It was a fair deal, as Jack was always fair, especially when it meant proving something awesome about himself.

Jack sighed, feeling hopeless when it came to fashion, even if he did dress impecably himself, girls fashion was not his speciality. "Well, you need a professional to help you then, you're obviously not prepared from cold weather." And neither was he, concerning the goosebumps appearing on his arms.

Ella looked up after being spoken to, looking up to see Rex. "Well, hey there," she grinned, give him a fluttery wave from the pumpkin she was sitting on. It was a little too comfortable, and she didn't feel like getting up. She blushed furiously as he acknowledged Ling. He'd seen right through her, hadn't he, at the Gryffindor table? "Uh, well.. not yet," she said with a little chuckle. "What about you? How has everything been?" she asked happily.

Although she was speaking to Rex, Ella recognized a familiar face walking around the pumpkin patch. She recognized the guy as James, dressed in blues. Well, looked like he'd been sorted in Ravenclaw. He didn't look too on top of the world, but Ella waved to him as well. "Hey, James!" she called. Yep, still too lazy to get off the comfy pumpkin. Someone had to manually pull her off if they wanted her to get off, it seemed.

Jack's jacket was super warm but it was starting to make her body feel a little bit clostaphobic. Was that weird ? Probably. She unzipped it until the zipper was about half way down before looking straight at Jack, she felt so tall even though her toes were hurting from standing on her tippy toes. Callie shook her head, as much as she could while there foreheads were touching, it didn't really work too well but yeah. He didn't haaave to risk everything for her love she just thought it was funny to see what he'd agree to in order to get her love. "You don't have to. But you know you want to. And everything ? Thats a bit exaggerate, dont 'cha think ?" she said giggling. Callie nodded, again as much as she could, Fair was good. Not all the time but right now it was good.

*Eye roll* Callie knew Jack wasn't really maddly in love with her because although they'd seen each other quite a bit now they still didn't really know each other too well as most of their conversatins consisted of them complimenting themselves Annnd if he was madly in love with her surely he would've told her buy now. And no agreeing to being maddly in love with someone when they stated it didn't count as telling someone you are maddly in love with you. Psht. She should've probably know that Jack wouldn't let her choose both of the guys she kissed he seemed to have a thing about being fair with everything but yeah it was fair she supposed and atleast she got to kiss one hot guy. "Meh. Fine. Just because you know you're gonna get jealous. But I get to pick which guy I kiss first, yea ?"

Callie cuddled Jack again as he sighed. He seemed to sigh and shake his head a loooot. But meh she didn't really mind, she never really thought much of it. "A professional ? Nahh. I think i'll stick to our plan of me buying you a jacket and then I can wear this one." She had some more clothes in her trunk that James had thrown in surely he was more sensible than she was.

Grabbing a dandelion that was growing near the fence, Ivory skipped over to where Arya was climbing onto a rather overly large pumpkin. Considering the question, she twirled the fluffy flower between her fingers and leaned one shoulder lazily against a neighboring pumpkin. Patting the orange surface with her free hand, she smiled as that resulting thump resounded against nearby pumpkins.

"Maybe he's really a country fair contestant and you know growing the largest vegetables?" Eying the pumpkin her friend was on meaningfully, Ivory chuckled. "Because if that's not blue ribbon material, I don't know what is."

Turning around, she grabbed ahold of the top of her pumpkin, following her friend's example and climbing aboard. From this view one could see that the patch wasn't just for a measly hobby though, there were quite a few. And of all sizes too. Trying to think out side the box, she tried to think of outstanding reasons why pumpkins would be planted. "Maybe....for a pumpkin war?" Her face took on a far away look...she could see it now. Face painted for camouflage, arms ladened with miniature pumpkins...launching them at her opponents...getting them launched at her...? Wait that didn't sound right...

" Scratch that, getting hit with pumpkins would hurt." Rubbing a hypothetical bruise on her head, she scrunched up her face in thought and her whole face brightened when she thought of another idea. "Ooooooh maybe into giant carriages? For the Yule Ball?" She remembered Arya's brother mentioning something about a Ball taking place again this year...so carriages were an option, right?

"So you can ride with a daaaaaate!"Giggling, as teased her friend over a possible future male companion, as she leaned over to her friend's pumpkin and blew on the dandelion, spreading the tiny furry things everywhere. Unfortunately for her, a breeze at just the right moment spread them all over her too causing her to have an unbelieving fit of giggles as the furry things caught in both their hairs.

Emma laughed. Oh no.. Sel was starting to order people around again. Emma knew this only happened when Sel was ravenous with hunger. She giggled ad smiled. "Sure the kitchens it is." she exclaimed. She looked over at her cousin. "You in two? We're going to go down to the kitchens to get something to eat before Sel starts eating the pumpkins here!" She giggled.

" Well, I tell you what, I am sure Miss Carlton would let you sketch her room when class is not in session" Rex told Daisy. "After all, she is "the Queen of "The Royal Family" Rex said to Daisy. "We can talk to her right now" Rex smiled.

" Always love seeing you, too" Rex told Fee. "Well, the pumpkin bread is just as good as the pie" Rex said to Fee. "Well, HogWarts has lots of action" Rex explained to Fee. " We sometimes get to go out on the week-end and I bet you would like getiing away from the campus, right?" Rex asked Fee. " Ok, so you are just normal here, but "Miss hollywood Starlet" at the lake" Rex laughed.

Well, glad you are the cook in your family" Rex told Anna. "Well, thank you for the piece of pumpkin bread" Rex said to Anna. " You are a sweetheart for letting me have a piece of yoru good pumpkin bread" Rex smiled.
" Hi sweetness" Rex told Ella. "Well do not let the boy get away" Rex said to Ella. " I am doing great, thanks" Rex smiled. " I want you to always be happy' Rex explained to Ella.

Iris looked at the girl with awe. "You.. taught yourself how to play?!" She asked, sounding veery impressed. "Wow." Iris didn't know what to say. This girl was fantastic. Made her want to learn how to play an intrument.

When the girl asked if she had any requests, Iris blushed. Heavily. "Um... I don't know the names of any cello music." She muttered. The prefect stood up away from the pumpkin and moved to sit down next to the girl on the bench.

"I saw you the other day, near the Goblet of Fire..." She said, holding her hands together, "... But I couldn't stick around long enough to see if you submitted your name or not." Iris wasn't sure of if she should go into the details of why that was. But if the girl asked, then she'd happioly tell her that her best friend spent most of the day as a little green bird. "Did you put your name in there?" Iris asked the girl curiously.

Could you imagine... if one of their champions was a Blinded girl? Yes, it would seem strange for her to have been chosen... But Iris figured that she'd have a better chance than a lot of other people in the school.

Realising that the girl didn't know who she was, Iris half smiled to herself. "I'm Iris Beaumont." She smiled at the Ravenclaw girl, "Slytherin Prefect." Teehee. It was still weird to say that.

august walked up the patch.then she saw all the pumkins.they are huge she said outloud. she saw rex hey how are you.did you really forgot my name.

"I need to try that", Fee said.
Yeap next time she saw pumpkin bread ot was her turn.
"Oh god, yes but i didnt expect relationship problems all around me in the first week", she laughed.
"Sure i would love to. That sounds really exciting", she smiled.
"Well, and you are 'Mister King of the lake', there", she laughed," and here we're being ourselves."

"Ohhhh, you giving me the jacket back now?" Jack kidded, watching her as she unzipped it, making it look like she was taking it off. He laughed as she tried to shake her head, even though his forehead was pressed against hers, she was so silly sometimes, and becasue of this silliness, it caused Jack to shake his head too, at the same time with her, because of the forehead thing. He chuckled, pressing his lips against her nose in one quick spur of the moment, before leaving her embrace, so that she could shake her head and fiddle with the jacket all she wanted. "It seems that way to me, love. I am responsible if you die, you now own my favourite jacket, I'm not allowed to talk to any other girls. I must love you, musn't I?" That he did, very much, even if she looked like a big blue tent.

Tousling his hair slightly, Jack smirked. "Fiiiiine. But the guy I pick is going to be WAAY hotter." Ha! What a bare faced lie. Just to annoy Callie tons, he was going to find the ugliest guy he'd ever come across at Hogwarts. Trouble was, all the people he had actually seen were very beautiful people, so even fonding an ugly person was going to be the challenge, never mind Callie kissing them. "They're going to think it's their lucky day when they find out they get to kiss you aren't they?" He said, feeding her ego. Jack made a noise of annoyance, but forced a smile back. Callie really wanted to keep a hold on that jacket, probably because it was his, which meant it was essence of awesome and gorgeous. "But you can let me where it sometimes raaaight?"

Callie raised her eyebrow. Not that Jack could see unless his eyes were super duper clever. Giving his jacket back ? Pfft. Neeeeveeeeeer. "Pssht. No. I think you could've worked that answer out for yourself though." she winked at him. He'd given her his jacket now she was warm and didn't really want to give his jacket back. Because it was her new favourite Jacket because it was warm and it was Jack's. teehee. She giggled as he shook his head, not because he was shaking his head because they were both shaking their head and it felt funny, like when you rolled over grass and the grass tickled your back ? Meh it was something like that. She smiled as he sorta kissed her nose. He had soft lips... "Well, then your just delusional." She didn't even know what delusional meant but yeah she'd heard people use it before. "You were the one that started off being responsible for me with the whole Spider thing..." *shudder* "Its OUR favourite Jacket, and im not aloud to talk to other boys eeeitherrrr." pft. "Course you love me, Im Callie Parker."

She looked up at Jack's head, sinking back to her normal height because her toesies were really hurting now. "Jack, Really. So your telling me your going to pick the hottest guy you can find." Knowing him he'd probably end up picking himself or something unless he was lying and he was gonna pick a ugly dude. Callie smiled, a biiiiiig smile as Jack complimented her. He was getting better at this complimenting thing, that compliment wasn't just a lame compliment it was a nice compliment Callie liked it. "Thanks. But i'd rather kiss you any day." Okay, that last bit had just slipped out she reeally didn't mean to say ittttt. *face palm* "Meh. I suppose thats only fair isn't it ?"

From contemplating doing harm to pumpkins with the use of the fireworks which were hidden in his pocket, Jimmy found his mood brightening. and then when he heard his name and looked around for the source he saw Ella and grinned with his usual lopsided charm.

"Hi Ella." He strode over, nudged a nearby pumpkin with his foot and then decided that he would remain standing. Pie and explosions were about all Jimmy would really think to use a pumpkin for, not for sitting on.

"That sounds great," Daisy said finishing off her sketch of the pumpkin patch. "How do you know all this stuff Rex?" She stood up and placed her sketch pad in her bag. "On the way there though I want to make a stopp on the first corridor. I think there might be an empty room there. If so then that would save me a lot of walking and you a lot of boredum."

Arya considered Ivory's first answer for a moment before responding. "But that would be cheating. Wouldn't it? I mean.....this wasn't here last term, and all of them are fully grown so he had to use magic." She mused, walking slow circles around the stem of her pumpkin. "It wouldn't be fair to use magic in a contest where others can't. Assuming the others are muggles." And her Head of House wouldn't cheat because Hufflepuffs didn't cheat.

Kicking her shoes off, she grinned at her friend as she climbed onto her own giant pumpkin. The second response got a giggle out of her. "A pumpkin war?" Pumpkins would be really hard to throw, so she thought. But maybe with a simple levitation spell it would be easier. She was tempted to pull out her wand at test out her theory when Ivory discarded the theory. "Yea, it would hurt to get with a pumpkin." She giggled, watching her friend rub her hypothetical bruise.

"A giant carriage? That would be awesome, wouldn't it?" Her face lit up as she carefully jumped from her pumpkin to the bigger one resting beside it. "That would be awesome to ride in a pumpkin....like Cinderella without the prince." She teased back; the thought of her with a date. Arya had never thought about the magic used in Cinderella, and now that she had, it made her mind wonder. She would need to visit Kingsley later.

"Do you think there will be a ball this year? Since we had one last term?" Not that she would be looking forward to yet another thing she would have to dress up for. Unless she got to go in a pumpkin. That would be awesome.

"My mum is glad I can cook too. Saves us from constant take out food. I tend to have something in my trusted satchel." She said. She was surprisingly skinny for someone who always had food on hand and who never went outdoors. "I may be a sweet heart for that but I'm not a sweet heart for other things!"She was very mean sometimes but only to those who deserved it and to those who messed with her friends.

" hi August" Rex told her. " So how do you like all these pumpkins " Rex asked August. " I ssww rhem mostly as pumpkin pies in my eyes and stomach" Rex laughed.

" Here, have some of my pumpkin bread" Rex told Fee. You should not have any relationship problems right now" Rex said to Fee. "Well, they ckind of tell us when we can leave for the week-end" Rex explained to Fee. "Sure " Mister King of the lake' Rex laughed hard.

"Well, I am very observant" Rex told Daisy. "Good, stop on the first corridor" Rex said to Daisy. " by the way, Miss Carlton is my favorite teacher at HogWarts' Rex smiled.

"Well my favorite teacher was Professor Lainey but I didn't see here during the opening feast so I guess she left." Daisy frowned. She was the coolest teacher she'd ever had.

Selena giggled and clapped her hands. YES! FOOOOD. Selena looooveeeed her food. Buahahaha. "Now that I think about it... I've never actually been to the kitchens," she admitted, slightly amused because that was where all the food was and she still hadn't been there yet! Shock! She grinned at Dianna. "I won't eat the pumperkins but I might eat you~" Selena said with a smirk. She had just renamed the pumpkins out of hunger. Weird.

" My mother always did our cooking" Rex told Anna. " My father left while mom had been pregnant with me" Rex said to Anna. "Now, I can't believe you can't be sweet" Rex explained to Anna.

'What did Professor Lainey teach again?" Rex asked Daisy. My other favorite teacher had been Professor DuMont" Rex told Daisy. " He taught Muggle Studies and Ancient Runes " Rex explained to Daisy. " He left this term " Rex sighed.

"She taught History of Magic. They were such fun lessons." Daisy looked down and laughed at the memories of them. the spinning globe. the boat she built with Carson.... Carson.

"Thats sad. I almost know how it feels though. I didn't know my dad was alive till a few weeks back. But I dont know exactly how you feel. No one ever does. If you saw the scene that happened in Prof. Carlton's office you would know I'm not so sweet sometimes. " She said with a smirk. It might've been mean but it was also funny to her. S' what you get for calling her and her friends "Just first years" especially when you are a second year. The story about his parents was a sad humbling one to say the least. But he is the person he is because of it. Sometimes bad things have good outcomes. After all what would he be like if that'd never happened?

" Oh right, Professor Lainey did teach Magic" Rex told Daisy. " I am sorry, you would not remember Professor DuMont, he left two terms ago " Rex explained to Daisy. He was a great teacher" Rex smiled.

" Well, I guess I had my own agenda in Professor Carlton's office" Rex esplained to Anna. "Everyone has a bad day or two or week, even month" Rex told Anna." Well, first years and second years do not bother me at all, they seem to be more friendly at least to me" Rex said to Anna. " The trouble I have this term is with those transfer students from DurmStrang and BeauxBatons, they seem to be rude to me and all I did was say hi and try to make them feel welocome here" Rex sighed. " They are cold to me and then some completely ignore me " Rex said somewhat agrily getting red in the face. "So I put my name in the Goblet of Fire to represent HogWarts and show thme how to bew friendly while I work to win the competition" Rex told Anna. Do you know that i can be very competetive at times for good reasons?' Rex asked Anna. The copetetiveness comes from his American football background and all those dancce competetions.

Jack frowned at the false hope. But, he had to remember that it was just a jacket, and like Callie had said, like she had promised, she would buy him a brand new shiny one. Though, not literally shiny, because he might aswell walk around wearing PVC. EWW. At least she was warm, he couldn't have his little Callie getting frost bite now, could he? Delusional? EXCUSE ME, he was planning on taking that kiss on the nose AND the jacket back if she said that again. He was not delusional, Jack was in fact very vey sane, to a certain extent. "Yes, I agree, I did come up with being responsible for the whole spider thing. But you did look genuinly scared, darling. I felt I would be a gentlemen if I took responsibility." And Jack was all for being a gentlemen. He chuckled at her vanity, he sometimes saw himself in her, like he did with a few vain women he'd met so far.

Jack nodded, another lie, but Callie didn't need to know that. It just made it all the more fun, even if she saw right through his blatent lie. "Yup. Otherwise, I'm not going to be jealous if I pick and ugly guy. You need to kiss someone who is similar to me when judging beauty, thus why you need to find a guy that looks like a God." Hard to find really, because HE was the God around here. Mwaha. Even though Jack agreed with what he just said, he wasn't going to do that, because yes, he would get jealous, even if he wasn't 'in love' Callie, like she always told him he was. Jack raised his eyebrow and smirked, that last part was unexpected. "Would you now?" He folded his arms, thinking that every girl was thinking the same thing. "I must say I'm not surprised, you are in love with me after all."

Oh pumpkin bread.
"Do you carry it with you?"
Fee giggled and tasted the bread.
Oh delicious.
"Yummy", she simply said smiling.
"Its not me with the problems, some of
my friends have problems with their relationships and the term just started."
What was going on with all those firsties?!
"Ohhhh, i am excited for that", she said," i suppose Hogsmeade to be insanly cool."
"I know i am funny", she giggled.
