Dillon. Diggy seemed rather odd for a nickname, considering the length was the same as the name, almost. The girl smiled, considering something, "Vould you mind if I called you Dillon?" she asked, because she wasn't everyone.

"I see" she said, referring to the whole non-magicals NASCAR thing. No, she wasn't interested in finding more about it. She didn't push the topic.

"Football eh?" She said she knew of it. She preferred soccer though. "Nice owl origin name! And its very good that you aren't bad...oh wow that's starting to hurt my brain." She said. To much thinking. To few random thoughts. Ohh pumpkins! "Gandy here is named for a person in a book slash movie."

Kale felt a little put out...she had pulled her hand away from his. Things had gone from okay to awakward in about 10 seconds. Kale wasn't sure what to say...he ran his hands through his hair to make up for it just hanging there all stupid. "So...umm....yeah...well I suppose it's getting dark..maybe we should head in for some supper." Kale wasn't really sure what else to say at this moment. Things with Lani were different. Kale really liked her and he was almost sure that she liked him back..but lets face it.. Kale was still a little too nervous to ask her out. Maybe they would just be REALLY good friends for a few more days and see where things went. "Would it be okay if we ate dinner together?" Kale asked her hoping that it was still okay that they hung out.

Hayley laughed at Jayce. "You don't have to be sorry. I really have to have a control over these types of things." She shrugged. It was true, shouldn't you have some control over your emotions? Especially over your embarassment emotions? Haha.

"Wasn't your best idea, hmm? Oh so you can do better than that?" She asked with an raised eyebrow. Haha, yeah right. However once he picked up the pumpkin guts she stepped back. "No wait, c'mon it's over now." She begged him not to do it.

Well at least he was having fun, but this truly wasn't fair. She stood still as the pumpkin hit her and she shook her head, walking over to Jayce without any pumpkin guts, that wasn't on her already, and gave him a big, wet, gross hug. "Awww I'm so happy that you're happy." She said as she hugged him. Ahahahahahahahaha, that's what he gets!

Mia gave him a reassuring smile. "It's quite okay Carter, sometimes it's better to get another person's perspective. You know, who isn't personally involved in the situation. I take it that a love potion is not supposed to take that long to wear off?" Potions was definitely not one of Mia's strong points but then nothing in the magical world was. "What was your first thought when the potion did finally wear off? I mean do you think you might of had some sort of true feelings for Destiny, love potion aside?"

This was quite a dilemma and it only reminded Mia once again why she was not interested in getting into a relationship with anyone. Too many misunderstandings, broken hearts and just plain angst. Yep that was something she could do without thank you very much.

At his suggestion of making her a pie, she gave Carter a smile and leaned up against the fence surrounding the patch. "I would like that. And maybe you could teach me how to make one." And then what he said next made her tip her head back and laugh. "I wouldn't know the first thing about making a love potion. And besides I am not into manufacturing love. It doesn't count if it doesn't come from the heart and soul."

Mia smiled again, it seemed that Carter thought the same as her on the animal subject. "It's why I am a vegetarian. I just can't bring myself to...you know." She couldn't bring herself to say it either. She picked up another flower and tucked it behind her ear. "You say that now. But you will probably think different when you're out ploughing fields in the cold. Or picking fruit in the blazing sun. It's hard, dirty work but I have to admit rewarding in the end."

She looked at him again, "What do your parents do for a living?"

Arya frowned a bit at Sabel, confused as to what he was talking about. "It's very nice Sabel." Honestly, what did he think she was talking about? Looking even more puzzled, she stopped hopping and stared at Sabel. "I'm not gonna knock anyone down, Sabel. The padding is so when you do fall you won't get hurt." That was a odd thing for him to insinuate.

Sabel came to a dead halt when she said it was very nice. They definetly weren't talking about the same thing. Blinking up at her, his confusion only became more visible as she objected to his statement yet again. "Wait...then...what type of 'checking' are you talking about?" For some strange reason, he could already feel his face heating up.

Arya cocked her head to the side, perplexed. Where they not talking about the same thing? Was there any other type of checking? She surely didn't know. "Checking you for scars.....and broken bones..." Why was he going all red in the face? Arya was more confused than ever. "What type of checking where you talking about?"

He could feel the heat plaguing his face, embarrassement he wasn't sure he really understood but that nonetheless he didn't want to express. Shifting his weight he blinked at Arya a few more times before opening his mouth. When no words came out, he had to snap his mouth shut, frown at the vines again and then look back up to her. "I...was talking about..." A perplexed frown. How was he supposed to word it? Body checking just sounded like what she had described. "Sports checking."

" Well, I am surprised you know about football" Rex told Anna. " I love just giving you a bad time, once in a while" Rex laughed." Gandy is named in which book and movie?" Rex asked Anna.

What to do now? The girl was boring Ginny to death. It looked like she didn't have any friends. She had to be so cruel and mean towards her. This almost felt like a joke. It was ridiculous. "You be quiet", she said simply to her.

"Don't look at me, can't you se how many other people are here", she told her. Ginny didn't care if she was trying to make her jealous. Ginny was not. "Do you have any actual friends?", she asked with one of her eyebrows up.

She was the one her was embarrassing herself laughing at Ginny. Ginny had eyed the girl who she didn't like one little bit. "I didn'y ask a question before, I made a statement", she answered smartly.

"Will you stop laughing. You have the most annoying laugh I've ever heard of", she told her. Ginny didn't laugh one little bit, she didn't even know what was so funny. "What's your name, then?", she asked her.

"I like America more than my own country. Frankly because I dont have one. Greatest military force the world has ever seen. You might love giving me a hard time now," She said smiling at him "But I will girl you!" She said with a devious smirk.

What, with the whole Jimbo/Monty thing goin' on she wasn't sure it'd be a good idea to bring Kale over. Mhmm, his table would be a good idea. Huh. Come to think of it, she'd never actually been to any of the other tables before. Well then, at least the majority of the people she knew wouldn't be from Slytherin.

Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere! It seemed that Gaspar was surrounded the orange/yellow gourds. Almost tripping over a rather large one, and swearing under his breath in Portugese, the boy headed to lean against a massive one with his journal in his hand.

As he had near the treehouse, he started to record his thoughts, everything and anything. So much to think about.

WOW! Ella had never seen this Pumpkin Patch before, and it was kewl. But she didn't like Pumpkins, they tasted weird. Not even Pumpkin juice appealed to her. There only use was on Halloween. Mhm. Whatever.

With a sigh, she sat down in front of one, and leaned back to look up at the sky. It felt good to relax every once and a while. With everything crowding her mind, she needed some peace. And a long cry. Looking to her side, she saw a guy who looked as deep in thought as she was. Hmmm, yeah, the blonde would be sociable today. "Hay. Wanna chocolate frog?" She asked, taking two out of her bag.
One for herself, and one for the other guy. Heh.

Gaspar looked up from his writing to see a blonde girl, sad in character but pleasantly nice to him, offering him a chocolate frog. "Dat ees very nice of you." he replied holding out his hand to take it.

Placing his journal in the folds of his cloak, Gaspar settled on opening the package.

"I'm Gaspar by da way." the boy offered his hand for the girl to shake.

"Sports checking?" She repeated, still as confused as ever. The girl had played sports, and her siblings played them as well. The term was still unfamiliar to her. All she could gather was that it had something to do with knocking people down, something she would never purposely do. "Is that a hockey thing? I've never heard of it..." They certainly didn't do it in gymnastics and horseback ridding.

" Well, then you need to come over and visit mom and me at SweetWater, Texas" Rex told Anna. " i know you like our military forces and thanks for calling them the greatest" Rex said to Anna. " Wait, I give you a hard time and after all this DI stuff, you will go girly on me?" Rex asked Anna. " You must have been talking to Fee" Rex laughed.

Enya gapped at the girl, had she just told her to be quite!? No one did that! It was just so...so RUDE! She glared at the girl before her, opening her mouth to say angerly. "Don't tell me what to do. You shut up!" Grrr, she had come close to slapping the girl, but didn't. Sigh.

She looked around the pumpkin patch at all the other poeple there. But she knew that neither of them had seen the two girl's, and the only girl who had was Ginny. She turned to look at the girl, "And yet your the only one closest to help me" She said crunching her hand's into fists. Glare. "Well duh course i have friends. Do you?" She asked rudely, raising her eyebrows.

Statement. Question. Who cared? She thought. Sigh. Enya folded her arms and stared at Ginny. "Does it matter what it is?" She asked tilting her head to one side - still staring at the girl. She laughed again when she girl stopped asking her too. Ha. She'd annoy the girl with her laugh! Brillient. But aw she had a annoying laugh. Hmm. Enya closed her eye's for a second then opened them again smiling. "Well then i'll just have to carry on then wont i?" She said.

Well it took her long enough to ask for her name. It was very important! "Enya Mary Louise Mayberry" She told the girl "Remember that" She added.

Wow, when he got closer, Ella really got to see how much of a looker he was. Hehehe.
Without a lot of thought, she shoved her own chocolate frog in her mouth just as he agreed to taking on too. She handed it to him, "No problem." She said with her mouth full. Swallow. Wonderful, her first impressions for this guy would be... total slob. If only she spoke after swallowing.

Awkwardness aside, it was introductions time. "Hey Gaspar, I'm Ella." She shook his hand that he offered out with a kind smile. "What are you up to down here then, Gaspar?" Because he was rather alone and worrisome before Ella arrived. Much like herself.
Man, she wanted another chocolate froggie.

"Eet ees a pleasure to meet you." Gaspar said kindly, taking a bite out of his chocolate frog and smiling contently. Chocolate was definitely on his lists of good foods.

When Ella asked the question of his presence in the pumpkin patch he responded, "I just needed to get out of the castle. Being cooped up inside makes me restless so I thought I'd come out here and write a little." He motioned to his journal and then took another bite of his frog.

"I listen." He smiled. He looked up at the girl on the pumpkin as she ran her hands through her hair, and frowned. "Perhaps you are right... only, this is mostly with you. Porque voce intendeo, sim?" He chuckled. "E voce preferido. I see this, na sus olhas." He smiled at her. Then, she got a little... fiesty.

Recognizing the nerve he struck, he put his palms flat on the very top of the pumpkin and stepped on a vine wrapped thickly around the pumpkin's middle so that he was face-level with Eiri, smirking. He leaned in until his mouth was very, very close to hers. "Then I will not tell you. She was pretty."
