Mia laughed as she tilted her head forward to look at him. "You are the first person who has told me that it is cool. Others said they would find it annoying to see colors floating around people." She shrugged her shoulders. "I have been able to see them for as long as I can remember. At first I thought that everyone could see them as well until the spiritual healer in our commune told me it was a gift. I am so used to them now that I can ignore the colors if I want to."

But she always tended to look for them when she met new people. It certainly came in handy sometimes. That was why she never got offended when some people were rude or mean to her. She knew it was coming.

Deciding that they had talk about her enough now, Mia smiled at Carter. "So how old were you when you found out you were a wizard? And how did it happen?"

Katie walked into the pumpkin patch and sat down, she couldn't help but stand up again and... DANCE! Katie was in such a happy mode from when she talked to Adam, the kiss, the talk, the might be getting back together, eep! Katie kept dancing and didn't stop.

Oh boy...Katie had been into sugar again...or...no, there was something different. A strange yet familiar spring in her step. "What's got you in such a good mood?" Kurumi asked looking up from her Charms textbook.

Katie kept dancing and giggled as she sw Kurumi, she remembered the promise, no telly people, so she wouldn't, but what would Kurumi say if she didn't? oh well! *giggle* "Hello Kurumi" Katie said as she waved at Kurumi, "Ohh.. Nothing" Katie said giggling, she was such a bad lair.

Kurumi raised an eyebrow. "You know you are a terrible liar..." she said placing her bookmark back in her book. She placed it on her knees and then leaned her elbows on it.

Katie giggled, "I can't tell you why" Katie said still twirling, that was smart! Katie could be very childish, she knew that every time someone said that the other person wanted to know it more, Duhh Katie!

Kurumi sighed and opened her book again. "Judging by the way you are twirling, I can tell it is about a boy," she said trying to find her place again. Katie seemed to be playing the same game she was at the beginning of the term.

Katie twirled once more and sat down next to her and smiled, "I'm guessing you want to know?" Katie giggled, Adam would be more likly to spill the promise out, as Kurumi and him were best friends.

Kurumi sighed. Katie was playing games with her again. "Of course I want to know what has my friends in good moods," she said getting just a little annoyed.

"Yes you are", she laughed along with him.
What would life be without Rex?!
"Of course you are too cool", she giggled,"coolest perso on earth."
Fee smiled widely at his last comment.
"Thank you", she grinned," ohh. let me think..... Only being you is totally enough."

Katie giggled as she got up and started to dance again, this was so fun, "Kurumi, I told you, I can't tell you" Katie giggled as she stopped in front of Kurumi, no one would know, no one at all, until the month is over.

Kurumi went back to reading her book - tired of playing Katies "I know something you don't know" game. "OK, but I know it is about a boy," she smiled trying to hide her agitation as she continued to read. Now the question was which one of the boys was this about?

Her best friend?

Oh.

"I am sorry to hear zat." he said, shifting around so he could actually look at Iris without craning his neck. "Do you still keep in touch?"

Perhaps she and her best friend used to come to this pumpkin patch all the time. Still though, he didn’t understand why she had to wear a dress… near winter time.

Carter laughed. "I guess I'm used to see the positive in things." he said. "Like... I bet you make really good decision in friends. You know... since you can see them." he said putting emphasis on the 'see'.

"I actually didn't know until someone from the ministry showed up." he said. "They do that... you know, for muggleborns..."

"Anyway... I don't remember anything really specially happening. I guess the wizard part of me was kinda resting until I got here. I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing. It would have freaked my out if I ended up on a roof or something. I would have thought I'd gone mad."

"This is true." She agreed with a nod of her head. "And you would think that I would stay away from those with dodgy auras wouldn't you? But I can't. I like to try and see the good in everyone." Which has backfired her on many occasion.

Mia hadn't known that but she could see why they would have to do that especially as Carter when on to explain that he hadn't done anything particularly magical when he had been younger.

She laughed a little. "Yeah that would have come as a surprise or if you did what I did and blew up my mum's pot of beef stew because I didn't want to eat it." Now that was when being a witch really came in handy.

"What do you want to do when you finish school?" Had she asked him that already? Mia had memory like a sieve sometimes.

Katie giggled, would it give it away? No, it wouldn't, Kurumi would know that they had fought, Adam would be the last person right?

Riiight.

"Yes." Katie said as she nodded her head, nothing else will come out of her mouth.

Nothing.

Nada.

Zero Words.

"I knew it," she half smiled finding an interesting section in her charms book and making a few notes. Never could be too ready for charms class afterall. "But...you have crushes on many guys that it is hard to keep up with you." Kurumi turned to the next page in her book. She looked at Katie out of the corner of her eye.

HEHE.

"So?" Katie said smiling, ok, maybe one word but that is it! no more shall come!

Kurumi rolled her eyes. She really didn't understand this part of the social structure. "I don't know...I think it is a little...um...disloyal" Oh dear, Kurumi covered her mouth with her hands. That had come out a little stronger than she had intended.

Katie looked at Kurumi confused, what? Disloyal? How was Katie that? "What do you mean by Disloyal?" Katie asked as she walked around the pumpkin Kurumi was sitting at, circle circle.

Kurumi closed her book again. "Maybe it's just because I have only just now learned what friendship is since coming to Hogwarts, but when it comes to things like love...I always thought that your heart can only belong to one person. When you say that you like someone...that's it...not 5 different people." Kurumi was beginning to wish her brothers were around now for advice. At least they had actually had girlfriends and knew more about the subject than her. "It just seems like you don't know what you want." Katie circling her like a hawk was kind of scary...was she going to pounce on her?

Kurumi needs to follow Katie around, she doesn't know how Katie feels, Katie giggled, "I'm not in love, I'm looking for the right boy" Katie explained as she sat down next to Kurumi, Katie couldn't wait to find the right boy, when she did, she needed to make sure he was hers.

Well, that was at least somewhat of a relief to hear. Still, Kurumi was worried not only about Katie's feelings, but all these now 'potential' right boys. "I guess, I never thought of finding the 'right person' as someone who actively went out and searched for," she said leaning back on her pumpkin a bit. Maybe it was differences in culture, or perhaps more in their upbringing, but Kurumi never actively sought out to find the things that Katie and some others were doing. She was raised to let those things in life come when they would.

Katie was glad Kurumi had said that, maybe they could help each other, Katie can teach Kurumi about Boys and Kurumi can teach Katie, umm.. something! "Do you think when your older you will want a boy friend?" Katie asked, if she didn't why bother!

"Maybe," Kurumi smiled. "I just don't want my life to be defined by finding one or 'that right guy.' For once, I want to take hold of the reins." Still trying to sort out the massive amount of feelings seaming through her body. She wanted to make sure she knew she liked someone full heartedly before she committed.
