Fee walked down the pumpkin patch. She hadnt been here in ages. Sitting down on a pumpkin she smiled at the beautiful sky. It was snowing, she loved snow. Picking up a branch she drew a heart into it. |
It's okay. Are we setting this before or after the first task? :) Quote:
Iris shuffled a little and shrugged. "Eh... Well... No, we don't. He's not written back to me at all since the term started..." She looked up at Noel, "...but it doesn't bother me. Not that much, anyway..." Offering the older boy a smile, Iris sat up straighter and crossed her legs. The situation probably wasn't as bad as it seemed. Maybe Aaron was just VERY busy, in New York. Or maybe the owl's didn't always reach him. Just being in the Pumpkin Patch made it feel like New York was closer to Scotland, though. That was probably the only reason why Iris didn't go insane from missing him... |
I couldn't resist. :D Quote:
SPOILER!!: Letter From Aaron Once the letter is of her leg, she heads for the owly before flying back to New York City. |

Carter tilted his head and scratched his head. "Well... before coming to Hogwarts I really wanted to play professional football." he said. "So it would be brilliant if I could play quidditch. I have no idea if I'm good enough though. I've only been to one game - the quidditch cup - so I'm not sure if that's a good comparison." "But if that doesn't work out I would like to do some kind of muggle relations thing. You know, to help other families like mine." he said. He wasn't sure if something like that even existed, but he hoped it did. "What about you? What do you want to do?" |

Mia laughed also. "If you had tasted my mum's beef stew you would probably have blown it up as well." Thank god she had decided to become a vegetarian. She listened attentively as Carter spoke about his playing football and quidditch. Mia was certainly not sports orientated but she liked watching people's reactions when they talked about something they loved. "Well the quidditch cup sounds like it's something important. So you would have to be proud of that, right?" She didn't really have any idea but it did sound as though it was something worth talking about. "Well if it doesn't exist then maybe you could be the first person to start up something of the sort." It actually was a pretty good idea. Even though her father was a wizard, Mia knew that she could have done with some help before coming to Hogwarts. Laughing softly, Mia looked at Carter. "Now how did I know that you were going to ask me that? I have absolutely no idea. I think I might try and get through this year at Hogwarts first and then see what I want to do after school is finished." She sat there quietly for a moment before her stomach gave a little rumble. Mia laughed again and gave Carter a sheepish look, "You reckon we could head over to the great hall and get something to eat? I'm feeling a little peckish." |

"Yeah. It was here just a few years ago. It was a lot of fun. I met one of my friend's families. That was fun." he said. "But I would go like to see another game, one that isn't the quidditch cup." Yeah, a normal game would be much easier to gauge his talent against. He nodded. "Yeah. I think people like us could use an extra bit of help." he said. "Especially if families aren't understand. I am lucky, my parents fully support this." he said motioning around him. He was sure his sister would too. If she knew that is. He smiled. He still wasn't quite sure exactly what he wanted to do, but he did have a few ideas. A few ideas that he had spent the past three years thinking about. "Yeah. Food sounds great." Carter said with a smile. He stood up and brushed the dirt off of him. "Need a hand?" he asked offering his hand to her. |
Next post Great Hall? Kitchen? Wherever I don't mind... Quote:
Laughing loudly, Mia nodded her head. "It was that bad. None of the men in the commune could eat it, even my dad and he never does anything to upset my mum." But he had brought Mia the biggest ice cream she had ever seen for saving them from having to eat the stew. "I wished I could have seen it. Not so much for the game itself but just to see what witches and wizards do when they all get together like that." Mia had been isolated far too long. Something she was going to talk to her father about when term finished. Mia nodded as well. "It sounds like the perfect solution. Maybe you should really think about going into something like that. You're a good talker and sensitive to people's needs. I could see you being a good spokesperson." She took hold of his hand and pulled herself up to her feet. "It wouldn't be hard to buy you a present for your birthday. As long as it was something that went in your mouth, you'd be happy." She giggled as she waved her hand for him to lead the way. |
:'D *flails* Quote:
However, it seemed that this little owl wasn't heading towards the Owlery. It was descending towards the Pumpkin Patch... Towards her. It was only when the barn owl had landed next to her that Iris realised who the owl was. "Avery!" Iris stared at the owl, slightly suprised to see her. Seemed like Aaron hadn't forgotten about her after all. Carefully and slowly extending her hand out to the barn owl, Iris stroked Avery's feathers gently, and untied the letter from her leg. Watching as the bird flew off instantly, the prefect looked down at the parchment in her hand. Either Aaron had written to her, or Avery was bringing some kind of bad news. Iris really hoped it wasn't the latter. For some reason, it suddenly seemed a lot colder when she went to open the seal on the letter. Iris bit her lip as she started to read it. Remembering that Noel was still sat with her, she skimmed through the letter very quickly, intending to read it properly later on - when she could reply to it. Seeing that it really was from Aaron, Iris smiled happily and found herself tracing his name with her finger. She looked up at Noel, still half smiling. Some people said 'Speak of the Devil and he'll appear'... Well, this was true to say right now, wasn't it? Hehe. "Quand on parle du loup, on en voit la queue!" Iris leant against the pumpkin she was sat in front of, contently. Aaron said he was coming home for the holidays... Oh, how the summer needed to hurry up, now... |
The pumpkin patch! Roxxy wandered over to the patch not far from Mr Masterson's where all the pumpkin's were growing. Stepping into the little patch she just glided through it at a slow pace thinking about nothing in particular. Almost toppling over Roxxy noticed the GIANT sized pumpkin that was blocking her way. It had the same firey red hair as Cammy. Picking up a tune she had learned during the first task Roxxy continued to stroll onwards. Finding a big pumpkin that seemed to allow for someone to take a rest on it she sat down on top of it wondering what her friends were up to. |

He stepped over one and then zigzagged his way around the large vegetables on his way across the garden. A grin spread up his face when he spotted the familiar figure of his adopted lil' sister, Roxxy sitting perched on top a larger than average pumpkin. “Morning.” He greeted her and skulked over, rocking on the balls of his feet as he grinned and looked down at her. “Merlin, Roxxy. I was beginning to get worried about you. Thought you'd left school without telling me.” It had been THAT long since he had seen the wee girl. "How are you, luv?" Grin. |
i think it's before. ^_^ Quote:
Oh mon dieu! He needed to write back to Beauxbatons! "Perhaps, he iz busy wiz school." He suggested, smiling just a bit. Just like he had been this year, not really having the chance to write any of his friends. They understood though. Triwizard Tournament and all. He better write a novel length letter to make it up though. Pushing his slightly fluffy-ish hair to the side and away from his eyes, something suddenly had caught his attention. Quote:
Iris will no doubt read it, so he'd be patient of course. Quote:
When she spoke, a chuckle escaped him before he gestured to the letter. "Iz zat from ze boy? Ze one zat left?" Perhaps he knew they were talking about him. Sort of that is. |
