"I'll bear that in mind when I have something interesting to tell you. As it is I am just muddling my way through getting used to the school and adjusting to routines." She laughed. Mia was not one for routines, she did things in her own good time and when she felt like doing them. "And I like listening to people talk so long as they don't talk about themselves non stop. Then that gets a bit annoying." Not that she would ever tell them that either, she didn't like to hurt people's feelings after all.

Mia couldn't help smiling at the look on Carter's face as he spoke of his sister. "Yeah I know what you mean. My mother often takes in people into the commune. But there this one guy Noah, he's two years older than me. She took him in and unofficially adopted him. He had been living on the streets since he was ten years old. He's like my older brother." She just wished he would see her as a younger sister instead of something else.

She raised her eyebrow at that statement. Oh she had heard about people dying in the Triwizard Tournament but it was his other comment that sparked her interest. "Oh yeah? What happened over the last couple of years?"

"How is that going?" Carter asked. He remembered it did take a little bit to adjust to how things were at Hogwarts. He actually spent much of the first week trying to figure out if he was dreaming. "Anything I can help you with?" he asked. Like... the kitchens. He knew where those were.

"I don't think I normally talk about myself a lot..." he said scratching my head. "But you... feel free to... hit me or something until I shut up." he said with a laugh. He'd hate to be annoying.

He chuckled. "Wow. We have a lot in common, don't we?" he asked. They were both brought up muggle-style and they both had additions to their family.

He knew that as soon as he mentioned things in the past he'd have to explain. He ran a hand through his hair. She'd hear sooner or later. "Well... during my first year a few students were ummm... killed... and the headmaster kind of... disappeared..." she said. "And then second year there was some crazy guy that impervioused some of the students. There was this great big fight at the end of the term." he said. It wasn't pretty at all. Plus he had to fight his friends. That was something that nobody should have to do.

"But last year... last year was good. There was a ball. And lots of food. I like food." Yup. And he even taught Destiny a chocolate rain dance.

"Do you have a map of this place?" She asked with a laugh. "Because I keep getting lost." She had no problems navigating her around the woods back home but the Hogwarts castle had her totally baffled. "And there's the homework. I've never really had to do any homework."

Mia's eyes widened in horror. "Oh I could never hit you Carter. I couldn't hit anyone." She was all for love and peace not violence. "But I don't think you're talking too much anyway. I'm enjoying our conversation." Yep he was a very nice person to talk to.

She nodded her head in agreement. "We certainly do. I was worried that when I started here that everyone was going to come from pure magical families and they weren't going to know too much about muggles." But she had been pleasantly surprised at how many students came from muggle families.

"Wow." She breathed softly as he spoke about what happened at Hogwarts over the last few years. "Does stuff like that happen often? How do they manage to stay open when all these things have happened here?" Did her father know about this? And if he did then why did he send her here? He knew that she was a really big scaredy cat when it came to things like that.

Mia laughed at his last statement. "I like food too."

Fee sat at one of the punmpkins as she heard someone singing.
Sounded like....
Freya!

"Freeyaaaa, huuuuuuuuun", she squaled an ran over to her friend to hug her.



" Noooo", this was going wrong Fee giggled",i meant you seeing the professor."
"Oh yeees, i will rule the world with my gliterness", she laughed.
Suddenly Rex turned serious.
Uh noo.
Fee looked worried into Rex's eyes. She got closer to him and hugged him tight.

"Rex", she whispered," is it about kay?Everything will be fine. I am here and i will do everything possible to make it good again."

Freya still singing the muggle song and spinning around when she heard someone calling her name she turned around and saw Fee ran over her and hug her. "Awwwww..Feeeeeeeeee honey. Was sup girl?" she asked while give her a bear hug

"I am not so good", she sighed,"but oh well."
Fee giggled at Freya's hyperness.
"YOu seem to be really happy. Whats up?"

Freya heard Fee sighed. Something must be upset her. "Awww..you poor dear.Is there something bothering you Fee?" she asked in a sing a song tune. "Weeeeeeellllllllllll. as you know we brew the Scintillation Potion in Potion class, right? and Lafay asked us to drink it and then I started to glow and felt like to jump up and down" she said in a very cheerful tone. Oh she felt bad she's now in very cheerful mood because of the potion while something bothering her friend. Oh how she hoped the potion wore off as quickly as possible.

"Well, yes there is something,"she sighed,"there is thios one guy i like. And everything was fine until Katie came up and tried to hook on him. I mean she's already got someone. And i thought he liked me,too but now..."

Fee ended her speach and smiled weakly at Freya.

"Oh yeeees, the potion", Fee giggled," i am glowing,too."
She pointed at her pink glowing robes.

"Aaaawwwww. Who's the lucky guy?Did I know him" Freya asked jumping up and down happily. She's not quite sure why she's jumping up and down is it because the potion or she's so happy because hearing her friend found a guy she likes. Freya smiled widely "Aaaaaawwwww..you glowing pink. I love it" Oh how she wished she'd glow pink too instead of green.

"Well he is a gryffindor and his name is Edmond. But there is nothing. I am sure he likes Katie."

This was all stupid.Why couldnt he just like her back?! Hmpf.
"Its like, me all pink and beatiful",Fee laughed.

"A Gryffindor??Interesting choice you have Fee" Freya smirked. Yup. Interesting indeed. "No way. Why he wouldn't like you?Don't be so modest Fee. Where's the Fee I know?The girl who always confident with herself, the glitter queen?Where did she goes?" she said to her. There's no way Freya would allowed Fee to think that she's lose to Katie. "I'm sure he likes you. What's not to like anyway?you're beautiful, sweet, you're the glitter queen and the most important thing is that you're irresistible, you said that yourself." she said still smirking.

"Uhm, yes", Fee said a bit confused,"who cares abour houses anyway?"
Fee had ended with judging people. Prejudice was something in her past.
"She is still there. Glitter Queen all the way", Fee giggled.
But wasnt it like that?! She was just a bit unsure. This situation was new to her.
"Well, it seems he has more fun with her", she sighed.
Aww, Freya was incredebly cute.Fee hugged her friend tight.
"Thank you, hun."

Freya just nodded her head. Yup who cares about houses anyway? "Maybe he didn't know the real you yet. I'm sure he'd love to spent time with you than Katie." she smiled. She hug her friend back. "Anytime hun. I'm at your service if you need someone to talk too, okay?" she said hugging Fee back. She really hate seeing her friend like this.

"Well, we sat at the lake for hours and talked about everything on our minds", Fee explained," and everything was soooooo cool. But now?"

What was wrong with her ? She felt all sick and sad. Because of seeing some guy having fun with another girl? Weiiiiird.

"If he doesnt want me he isnt worth even thinking about him",Fee grinned at her friend.

She was still sad, but her friend really cheered her up.
"And i am there for you,too", she smiled sweetly,"even if its 3 a.m. you can come and wake me."

Freya listened carefully when Fee told her about her and Edmond. "Yeah. there are plenty fish in the sea" she smiled trying to comfort Fee but then again Fee seems like this guy so much. Maybe she could play matchmaker for both of them? Nope that was definitely not a good idea. Freya never doing the matchmaker before. What if it didn't end up well?But it's worth to try :hmm: 'I should asked Cass opinion about this' she thought "Thanks Fee" she said smiling. She didn't know what will happened to her if she didn't meet Fee.

"True", Fee giggled,"we will see."
Still she liked him. Oh well.
"Have you seen Cass around these days?"
Fee hadnt seen her in a while not even in the common room or the dorms.
This was weird.
"You are more then welcome hun", she smiled,"friends forever."
Yup, the Slytherin Diva's had to be.

"No. I haven't see her around. I wonder where did she goes? I hope nothing happened to her" Freya said concern. "Friends forever" she said smiling widely.

"I wonder where she has disappeared", Fee said worried.
This was really strange.
The beds of the three were right next to eachother.
"Yaaaay. Glitter Slythies should rule the world", she saig giggling.

Meredith decided she really needed a break from all the school work so she looked out the window and the first thing she saw was the pumpkin patch, so she deiced to go check it out. It was very nice outside. Meredith hopped up onto a big pumpkin and enjoyed the nice weather

Edmond was walking, thinking of his days at Hogwarts so far. It's been chaotic, but at the same time he has met really nice people. He looked up and saw Meredith, "Hey Meredith." he called out. Did she hear him?

Meredith looked down and saw Edmond. " Hey Edmond!" Meredith waved and jumped down from the pumpkin. She hadn't seen Edmond in a while, well a couple of days, but still. " So how's hogwarts going for you?" Meredith asked,

Edmond walked toward to where Meredith was standing, "It's different, but I like it." he said. "How about you, made any new friends?"

"Cool! It's going pretty good for me too!" Meredith smiled. " ya, I've met a few people, Katie and Adam. What about you?"

"Yeah, I've met them," he asnwered. He didn't want to talk about them, so he changed the subject, "How are your classes going so far?"
