He sounds like Aunt Petunia :D
 

Adam excused himself to Ever and walked over to Kurumi. "Pumpkin, if something is wrong can we talk about it, you know having drama with you is dangerous, especially with birds and cookies being thrown at me...Can we talk right now if something is bothering you, Kurumikins...?"He asked catiously.

He totally does! And Kurumi is not big on the pet names...
 

GAH!

Adam's surprise was going to be ruined! She quickly threw her scarf up in the air, turned off all burners, took out her wand, and casted, "Vestis vellus!" as she had done in Transfiguration class to turn her scarf into a blanket that covered her work station.

Few...safe...hopefully...

"Adam," Kurumi frowned. "Try not to over do it with the names...I am not a cat...can you just go back to calling me Kurumi?" She sighed and leaned on the counter.

Ever looked at both of them sadly. She was not going to be the start of a fight and she was not going to lose two friends. She finished scrubbing the now-spotless bowl and set it on the counter. "Um...I'll start on the frosting." She announced loudly. She walked over to get some sugar and tried to give Kurumi another 'I'm-sorry' look.

Adam looked at her and nodded. "What's wrong- sounded like you slapped that cream cheese-ohhh, nice blanket...by the way."Adam added to lighten up the mood between the two friends/couple.

"Yeah good idea Ever- besides it's a fun job to do."He tried to smile at her but his arguement with Kurumi just made that smile a frown.

"Uh....yeah..." she smiled patting the blanket. "It's a spell we practiced in Transfiguration." She hoped that the strawberries were not squished when she had panicked trying to hide her Valentine's Day evidence. She awkwardly patted Adam on the shoulder. Distraction...quick! She looked around for something to use when she felt fur against her leg. "Walnut, hey girl," she smiled as the cat looked up at her and meowed. "What are you doing here?"

Walnut began rubbing herself up against Adam's leg. "Looks like I have some tough competition," she laughed as Walnut looked up at Adam with her big blue kitty eyes.

Adam grabbed walnut and patted it's head. "Walnut knows how to treat me right...Maybe I should date her instead- or at least Tigger should, that way Tigger will spy on you for me, because he will be dating Walnut...I think a rose beats a hairball- don't you think?"

"Walnut can be pretty stubborn," Kurumi warned petting her cat as she began to purr. "She can't bake anything either..." Kurumi's attention returned to her covered goods. "I'm happy you are not dating a cat..." Kurumi blushed putting a hand on Adam's.

He felt his heart beat faster, his insides warmed up and he couldn't contain himself. Everything seemed to be back to normal- from her point of view. "Sure everything is fine over here- you know you can tell me- even if it's about me- we just got through the worst week of our lives I can handle anything now..."He then looked around. "Though I still haven't ruled out that bird attack..."

Ever watched them while stirring the soon-to-be frosting. She almost had a heart attack when something colorful and fluffy jumped in front of her face. "Cloudy!!!! Where in the name of Merlin did you come from?!" She figured she probably looked like a freak, screaming at her cat in front of Adam, Kurumi, and Walnut. "I thought I left her in the common room." She explained, a floury hand clutching her heart. All of a sudden, Cloudy hissed and pounced from the table and landed on Walnut.

Walnut meowed as she jumped out of Adam's arms - her job accomplished for the moment. She waddled over to Ever-Lily and sniffed her shoe.

"You...are probably going to laugh," Kurumi blushed looking at the ground. "When you called Ever-Lily girlfriend...I got....jealous...I-I-I'm not sure if that is the right word..." her hands went to her cheeks again. She was being ridiculous. Adam wouldn't try anything like that...unless he wanted birds to bring him some cookies again.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAWR!

Walnut was flattened into the floor with her stubby legs sprawled out in either direction. She began swishing her tail and hissing as she tried to push the other cat off of her.


"Walnut!" Kurumi shriek as she pushed Adam aside and began running over to where her kitty was pinned to the ground.

"I thought you would take the word in that direction. When I called Ever Lily- girlfriend, I meant a girl who is a friend...You know after so many months of liking you and now having the chance to be with you- I wouldn't ruin our relationship as a couple...And umm, Cloudy is fighting with Walnut-in case you didn't see.."He mentioned.

Adam ran over to Walnut and tried to pry Walnut off the floor from the meani Cloudy. "Ever- get your cat off Walnut..." Adam took a step back...

"I can see that, thank you," Kurumi called over her shoulder as she ran towards her kitty. She would have to hug Adam later for his comment, right now, Walnut was in kitty jeopardy!

Walnut managed to escape from under the other kitty and her eyes danced around the room for a hiding place...AHA! Pots in the corner! Walnut made a mad dash for the pots and jumped inside a big one. -tehehehe-

Cloudy jumped off her prey and zoomed in circles around the room, until she skidded into Adam's leg. She meowed happily and entwined herself around his leg - until she remembered her new friend. She jumped onto the table again, knocked over Ever's bowl of frosting that shattered to the floor, frosting spraying everyone. Cloudy pounced once more, her paws batting Walnut in the face.

Ever's eyes widened in horror. "Cloudy!! Stop it!!" She chased her around the room, but face it - the cat has the energy of a 5 year old on sugar and caffine. She stopped immediately when she got dizzy and steadied herself against the counter.

Adam looked at Cloudy in horror. He flicked his wand at Cloudy and said, "Wingardium Leviosa..." The cat floated into the air, mouth opened probably ready to cry or meow..."Kurumi, get your cat, I think it's safe now..."he told his girlfriend...

RAWR! How had that animal found her?! She had such an amazing hiding place in her pot. Now that the two fuzz balls were squished in the tight space of the pot, Walnut was finding it very difficult to move her stubby little legs. Stubby legs! She had the advantage, didn't she? Walnut jumped up and landed on top of the other cat.

Victory! Walnut began to prance around on top of the other cat being very pleased with herself. Just then, her nose picked up on a delicious smell. Oooooh! What is this? Walnut ran over to the fallen icing and licked it a little. The intense sugar sent a shiver through her tiny body.

Kurumi rushed over to Ever-Lily. "What are we going to do about our cats?!"

-snicker snicker- now the other cat was up in the air thanks to the nice boy. Walnut jumped on top of the kitchen counter to get a better look at the floating kitty.

"Walnut! Stop that! You are just asking for trouble!" She cried as she got closer to her kitty and reached out to pick her up....

Cloudy needs a rabies shot? LOL!
 

Cloudy floated in midair making a horrible screeching noise. A look of pure twisted insanity swept across her face. She extracted her claws and began pawing the air, trying to move forward to continue the attack, whether it was her target or not.
Ever-Lily angrily looked at her cat and tried to scoop her out of the air, but her hand was slashed. "Jimeny cricket!" Ever yelped, once she began seeing straight again. "My cat is going mad!" Tears began streaming down her face, not because of the river of blood pouring from her hand, but because her trustworthy companion finally cracked.

is there a counter spell for that? XD
 

"Every-Lily, are you OK?" she asked holding up her friend's hand. "Ferula," she said with her wand pointed. A bandage appeared and wrapped itself around her friend's bleeding hand. "That should help a little."

Walnut was enjoying watching the other cat flailing around in the air like a limp noodle. She reached out and swatted at the cat, but her short legs couldn't reach.

"Thanks," Ever said weakly. Cloudy gave a growl at Walnut. She batted her outstretched claws and BAM! nailed Walnut in the nose. Ever had no choice left. Walnut would be dead before Cloudy got off her rampage. Ever scrambled against the wall and pointed her wand square at Cloudy's face. "Feraverto!" She pleaded, and Cloudy became an empty glass.

AHAHA! kitty turned into a glass XXD
 

Walnut hiss and spat as a giant gash appeared on her nose. This cat was nuts! With her tail between her legs, the poor munchkin cat waddle over to Kurumi and jumped into her arms.

"Oh...Walnut..." Kurumi said as she patted her kitty on the head. She would have to take her to see the Care of Magical Creatures professor later and fix her up. "Ever-Lily...what is wrong with you cat?!"

Walnut meowed softly as she began licking her fur to try and fix it - despite a few patching missing.

"I -" Ever-Lily paused to brush some flower off her shirt, "don't know. She's n-never acted like this b-before..." She took deep, shaky breaths and slowly reached out to grab the empty water goblet. "What have I done?!" She squeaked and set it down on the counter with extreme care. Ever inhaled some flour by accident - it was everywhere - and sneezed. Head hanging in shame, she shuffled over to Kurumi, her arms wide for a hug. But first, she gently petted Walnut. Her hand was throbbing. "It's okay, baby. It's not going to bother you anymore." She emphasized 'it' with the most possible amount of despise she could. She smiled encouragingly but weakly at Walnut.

Walnut spat at Ever-Lily, but made no aggressive movement in the girl's direction. "Walnut, stop that," Kurumi scolded. Walnut's ears were back and she was not happy about today's developments. "Walnut, it is not her fault that her cat is insane." Or was it? Did Ever-Lily feed the cat something bad? Had she used a spray bottle on Cloudy? That had made Walnut really unhappy and Kurumi had had to spray herself for the cat to forgive her. "You should keep your cat that way...before it hurts someone..."

Ever scooted away from Walnut nervously. "I have no idea what could've made her act like this. She's only met one other cat while here, and that was Vixy. They played fine." She explained. Ever glanced sadly at the glass that was her kitten. She didn't know the countercurse anyways, and wouldn't use it if she did. She realized then that Cloudy had taken over Ever's feelings. Maybe the cat fight was symbolism of Ever's...dare she say it...jealousy, and Cloudy had sensed it and done what Ever wished she could have done? Nah. Nooo, not at all! Why did Ever even think that, even for a split second. She mentally slapped herself. "Shall we go get Walnut bandaged up, now? And my hand?" She asked.

"Sorry, guys I got dazed out- what happened?"Adam asked shaking his head like a dog who had just been given a shower. He saw that something was up with Ever's hands and went over and lightly grabbed it. "If this hurts, it may be broken..."Adam said , gently jabbing it with a finger.

Kurumi frowned as Ever-Lily seemed to be deep in thought about something. "Walnut didn't really like Vixy when they met..." She checked on the bandage she had charmed earlier. She probably needed to go to the hospital wing just to be safe. Medicine would help. "The bandage is staying, but you probably could use whatever wizarding medicine they have over in the hospital wing." She looked at the cup. "And maybe we need Professor Kingsley to un-cup your monster cat."


"Oh, very smooth Adam," Kurumi said as she rolled her eyes. Jabbing a wound is exactly what someone needed. "Cloudy scratched her. I doubt it is broken...unless her cat is insanely strong..." Well, the cat was insane in general...could be possible. Walnut hissed at the cup.

"What do you mean ' Very Smooth Adam'? I'm not jabbing the wound just the surrounding area- unless you have a problem with me checking Ever's hand to see if it LOOKS broken..."He said in a vexed tone.
