Adam heard his stomach growl and he rubbed it uncomfortably. So he decided heading to the kitchen even though he just had dinner an hour ago. He tickled the pear in the picture and walked through the door. Inside he saw Fee and Kurumi and dodged them by getting low to the ground. He went to the far back where all the sweets where kept hidden. "You guys are awesome cooks..."Adam smiled at the elves.

"AHHH...."Adam screamed throwing the cupcake in the air, thinking he had been caught by Kurumi and Fee who were probably in drama right now. He clutched his heart and laughed when he saw Ever. "I'm having a cupcake- though not anymore, that was the last one and I threw it because you scared me..."

"I'm not much of a baker without Kurumi's help, but I'm good at measuring all the ingreidents...Do you have a recipe?And you don't need to be sorry, I've just been weird and jumpy lately, my fault.."He smiled at her and pulled his bangs away from his brown eyes.

Adam laughed, something decent was better than something decently bad. He raised his wand "You seem to have forgotten we are wizards and witches...Accio Sugar and Flour...2 cups to be exact.."Adam flicked his wand lazily, and sugar and flour came flying to his side.

Kurumi checked on her melting chocolate on the stove and then went over to the sink to begin washing her strawberries. As she dried them off, the saw Adam out of the corner of her eye with Ever-Lily...and right in the general direction of the fridge where she needed to go next. She set her washed strawberries down on the counter in a small wooden basket and made her way over when something hard SMACKED her in the back of the head. Kurumi fell over face first into the floor and began rubbing the back of her head as she looked up to see a bag of sugar float over towards Adam.

"Kurumi..."Adam shouted , he instinctively went over to her and picked her up. "Sorry, I didn't know you where here...And I didn't know bags of flour were that dangerous...Are you ok?"Adam asked worriedly.

"Umm, Kurumi, if you are still here on earth, what do we do next for cupcakes, we got the sugar, and obviously the dangerous flour that knocked you out..."He laughed quietly.

Kurumi frowned a bit as Adam helped her up. "I'll survive," she mumbled glaring at the bag of flour as though it had been able to do that all by itself.

Oh, right, cupcakes...

"That depends...what type of cupcakes are you making?" Now how was she going to get her things for her chocolate cookie cheesecake without Adam noticing...maybe it was time to use what she had learned in transfiguration.

"I have...NO idea...How about Chocolate Cupcakes, unless Ever Lily, here is allergic to chocolate?"He looked at Ever , hoping to get an answer from her.

"Chocolate sounds wonderful to me!" Ever exclaimed, glancing back and forth between Kurumi and Adam. Something was eating at the back of her mind...she couldn't quite place her finger on it. Then her mental lightbulb appeared over her head. Of course...she was standing with half-friends and half-couple, Adam had told her! She didn't know what to say next, and she finally felt the tension in the room seep in.

Adam stared at Ever . "Ever something wrong, you're kinda just staring out into space???You're not like having a seizure or something, are you?"Adam asked, looking more closely to her, then stepping behind her, in case she did faint to the floor and crash on it.

"Chocolate it is," she smiled as she pulled out a piece of parchment from her pocket where she had written a recipe on. Good thing she had thought about making chocolate cupcakes....woah...wait a second...why were Adam and Ever-Lily making cupcakes together? Kurumi looked out from under her bangs with her violet eyes at the two. Adam had mentioned to her that he had a crush on her...should Kurumi be concerned? Was she going to have to attack Adam again with cookie bearing birds? Best not jump to conclusions...especially since neither of the two seemed to know anything about making cupcakes. "Uh....here you go," she said handed the piece of parchment to Adam.



Now, Kurumi needed to get into the fridge for a few things herself...

Adam looked at all the ingridents and how much they needed of each. He then summoned the rest of the stuff, baking powder, cocoa powder, salt, butter, white sugar, eggs, and milk and vanilla extract. "What your head there girls..."he warned them, so many items came flying to adam that baking soda and eggs crashed on his head, so that his hair turned ghostly white. " I do dry stuff- you girls, the other..."He suggested.

"What? Oh no, no I'm alright." She said casually, but noticed Kurumi eyeing her. She looked away quickly, and busied herself with cleaning a mixing bowl. While she scrubbed, she tried to register her feelings. Ever couldn't possibly still have a crush on Adam, she and Kurumi were friends, and Ever did not hurt her friends. Well...Adam did say they were having rough patches...Adam must have been avoiding her for a reason - maybe. 'Still not an excuse,' she told herself. Besides, she didn't dare ask where they were in their relationship, she wasn't sure she was even supposed to know. "Aquamenti" she muttered, washing the bowl even more.

Adam watched Ever scrub her bowl. Was she excluding herself from him and Kurumi."Ever are you alright, really- Kurumi, if you were cooking something get to it, I can handle measuring and everything- I'm just really bad at timing and the ending stuff.."He said, maybe Kurumi wanted alone time, they were so connected to each other.

Kurumi walked over to Ever-Lily. "If you use Scourgify you can save more time," she smiled waving her wand at some of the dirty dishes in the sink. Kurumi wasn't really one to use magic while she was cooking or baking. Baking was one of the things in her life that made her feel normal and she never really wanted to bring it into the chaotic aspect of her life.

She then walked over to Adam and handed him a list of instructions. "I think you may need this," she winked. She looked at him and hope that her eyes explained that she wasn't avoiding him, she just needed to...erm...be able to surprise him later.

Adam took the note and looked it over. "Yeah thanks..."So badly he wanted to kiss her on the cheek but Ever was there and he had an inkling or remembered her mentioning she liked him, he couldn't put her through that again. "See you later then..."

"Alright girlfriend we need 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda,2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 3/4 cups cocoa powder..."He addressed Ever. He hoped she wouldn't take that the wrong way, nor Kurumi either.

Kurumi smiled and returned to her station. She was a little disappointed that there was no hug or anything...she had had to watch Adam and Katie do that all the time when they were dating. What was so different here.

She went back to her melting chocolate and found it to be a perfect consistency, so she took it off the burner and began dipping her strawberries in it. She then heard Adam address Every-Lily as...girlfriend?!

Woooooah....hold on a second. What was going on?!

Kurumi turned on the spot and looked at Adam with hurt eyes before slamming her slab of cream cheese down on the counter to...soften it up.

"Yeah, I'm excellent," Ever said, trying to hold her patience. She lowered her voice and added, "I thought you would want to talk to Kurumi alone." There was a pause in which she felt like melting into the floor. "Er...need some help with getting some stuff in the oven or anything?" She offered a little louder, feeling very awkward. She hid in her hair again.

"Thanks so much, that should help," she said when Kurumi gave her advice. She was very glad Kurumi talked to her, Ever thought she was mad at her. It also reminded her that she had great friends, and she couldn't possibly be jealous. "Scourgify."

"So, how have you two been?" She asked both of them. A little cooking conversation would certainly lighten her mood.

"Got the ingredients right here," she smiled at Adam, but it faded when she heard a slam. Kurumi looked a little angry. She gave her a look that said, no,-no,-not-like-that!

Adam jumped when he heard Kurumi slam something on the counter top. She had taken his words too seriously, he had meant girl that was a friend..."Kurumi, umm, are you alright?"He asked warily.

He then turned his attention for a short period of time to Ever."Umm, well we're full on dating, But I think she took the whole girlfriend thing too seriously right now."He whispered to Ever, worried that Kurumi might over here. Please no drama, not after they had spent such a good day at the LAke.

"I'm fine," she called slamming the cream cheese on the counter again, this time much more lightly. Calm down, remember kendo..."I am just softening one of my ingredients."

Was Adam trying to play games with her too? She thought she heard Adam whisper something to Ever-Lily, but she decided to instead focus on her rock hard cream cheese at the moment.
